The Richland Center boys basketball team opened Southwest Wisconsin Conference play with a 59-36 loss to Platteville.  The Hillmen broke open a close game near the end of the first half on a 7-0 run and opened a 15-point lead, 27-15, by intermission.  

The Ithaca boys basketball team hosted Southwestern in a non-conference battle on Thursday night.  In the end the Wildcats came back to win 62-56.  Ithaca led the majority of minutes after jumping ahead 13-12.
