The Don Rosen Show · Tue Apr 16, 2024

My wife was on me because, well,

she wants me to lose weight because of the health.

And I wish she would just say that.

But she, like, tries to act like we're just having a conversation.

She's like, hey, honey, I read this article the other day

that if you're on a mile each week,

it adds 21 minutes to your life.

Yeah.

The problem with this is it takes me 22 minutes to run a mile.

I'm like, honey, can't we just lay here for a minute

and call it even?

And then she does stuff she doesn't ask.

She booked me on a session with a personal trainer.

I don't know if you ever had a session with a personal trainer.

But look, I'm not easily intimidated.

But I meet my personal trainer for the very first time.

Coming down the stairs.

Five foot 10, but seven percent body fat.

Just Vani and Shiny and went and wrong.

And the muscles.

And the voice.

Are you ready to work out?

I said, yes, ma'am.

I feel it in my fingers.

I feel it in my toes.

Love is all around me.

And so the feeling grows.

It's written on the wind.

It's everywhere I go.

Come on, let it shine.

You know I love you.

I'm always made up by the way that I feel.

There's no beginning that we know.

And because of my love that you can depend.

I see your face before me.

It's I lay on my bed.

I kind of get the thinking of all the things you said.

You made your promise to me.

And I get mine to you.

I need someone beside you.

And everything I do.

And know I love you.

I'm always made up by the way that I feel.

There's no beginning that we know.

And because of my love that you can depend.

It's written on the wind.

It's everywhere I go.

Come on, let it shine.

Come on, let it shine.

Yeah, it's 609 W1JN Radio.

Thanks for joining us on this Tuesday morning.

Make it a great one.

Pay your taxes yesterday.

Hope you did.

Remember that's how they got Al Capone.

They didn't get him on murder.

They got him on taxes.

Remember that.

Well, hope you did pay.

At least if you've had a file, you know, an extension,

at least you filed something, right?

Yeah.

I always, I can't wait to the last second.

Some people can do that.

And they love doing their taxes on the night of the 15th.

No, no.

I have somebody else do my taxes for me because I don't want

to wind up like Al Capone.

So I don't do my own taxes.

All right.

Good morning.

We're looking for increasing clienty this today with the

52 showers and thunderstorms tonight.

Loads around 49 showers and thunderstorms early on

tomorrow.

And I did 63 right now, 47 degrees and sunny.

Man, I love coming into work in the sun on the horizon.

I said, hey, coming in.

It was pitch dark out there and wasn't any signs of life.

Now the birds are chirping in the morning.

The dog down the block is it shouldn't go attack me.

Get here and bark.

He just wants to hear that in the background.

So yeah.

It is good to wake up in the morning.

And then hey, today we've got the Padres in Milwaukee,

San Diego versus the Brewers 605 on WRJ and radio.

We've got tickets to give away to Stargirl this morning at the

received theater guild.

What a show.

You'll love it.

I've got tickets to give away for that.

I've got tickets to give away to stay fair.

Now who we giving away to stay fair today?

Let's see here.

We've got state fair tickets, but I don't know who I'm giving it

because we've got so many of them here.

Oh, did I lose the sheet?

Oh, please tell me I didn't lose it.

Oh, yeah, here it is.

Okay.

Charlie Barons.

Because we also have TLC tickets to give away next week.

I just want to make sure I give away the right ones.

Yeah, Charlie Barons is coming to the Wisconsin State Fair Thursday August

eighth Thursday August eighth.

You can win tickets today right here.

I don't know if we're going to do a texting contest or just on the phones.

I'll make up my mind a little later on.

All right.

It's the five day work week outdated 30% of CEOs and a new poll said they're

seriously thinking of moving to a four hour, excuse me, a four day work week

or a four and a half day work week.

If we do the four and a half day work week, I'll just leave it 630.

That will be coming for half hour.

A 17 year old student in New York arrested for a stunt he pulled last month,

where he sent out a facts posing as the principal stating that he was

resigning.

The problem was he didn't know how facts is work.

And that's how they caught him.

An airline agent told a passenger their check bag was a half pound too heavy,

but he would let it go if they tipped him.

In other words, paid him off.

So the customer gave him five bucks.

Now they feel they were wrong about doing that.

So they thought they may have been scammed.

So they reported it to United Airlines on their website.

United not responding.

The whole story was told online.

People are saying that if this happens, you should just ask for a supervisor.

Happened to me.

I didn't have a choice.

I had to pay off.

Our plane made an emergency landing in Green Bay.

This was the, there was a tornado in Detroit.

I was coming back from LaGuardia to Milwaukee.

And we had a circle so long to avoid the tornadoes and the bad weather over Detroit.

We had to go so far out of our way that we didn't have enough fuel.

So the pilot says we have to make an emergency landing in, I think it was Oshkosh.

Oshkosh, you're Appleden.

Maybe it was Appleden.

We had to make an emergency landing there to get fuel because we didn't have enough

because we were stalling so long because of the bad weather.

So we landed it was almost midnight and the airport was closed for those just closing.

And I went to the terminal there to go rent a car because my then wife, my first wife,

she wasn't going to get out back on that plane.

And there were a bunch of people heading toward the terminal.

They weren't getting back on the plane either.

I think it was rocking violently in Detroit.

And when the pilot said we have to make an emergency landing that kind of scared everybody.

So I ran and there was one person at the car rental terminal.

And she said, well, we're closing now.

I said, can I just rent the car?

She goes, okay, 50 bucks for me and then you can rent the car.

I had to pull out 50 bucks and pay because the curator for the Milwaukee Public Museum

was there crying her eyes out asking if she can come with us

because she wasn't getting back on that plane.

And my daughter had my ex wife there with me.

And I said, all right.

Everybody can get in the car.

I had to pay 50 bucks under the table to reported that thief.

Anyway, I got the car.

By the time we got to Milwaukee, the plane had already been there and left about an hour or so

before two hours before.

But they weren't getting back on that plane.

I didn't mind it.

The guy just needed some fuel.

We're getting back on, you know.

But anyway, so I had to pay under the table.

I should have reported that person.

Two pool players named Russ and James at a beef.

They fought a decade ago where there were big rivals at the pool hall.

But eventually they made up and became friends.

Now they're even closer after Russ just gave James a kidney.

He'd been dialysis for three years.

He's doing great now two months after the surgery.

James's wife said she could barely hold back the tears, talking about what a huge gesturate

was.

And that as bad as good as a cat's given somebody part of your body.

So don't believe lasting relationships can be forged on the bachelor.

Well, guess what?

You're right.

Golden bachelor couple Jerry Turner and Theresa Nist are divorcing after three months of marriage.

So I was to say it's because she didn't want to leave her life and job in New Jersey.

I used to watch the bachelor and the bachelor right all the time.

I stopped doing it because it's so scripted.

And you know what's it.

My wife's convinced that all these people have agents and they get them on the show so they can further their career later on.

And you know, I think she's right.

The only shows I still watch her survivor, big brother and amazing race because you really can't predict.

That's not scripted.

Well, scripted is some degree.

But the outcome isn't because you can do what you do or you can't do it.

Especially on the survivor.

If you can't do all those things on the show, you can't do them.

Same thing with amazing race.

I always feel bad when I watch amazing rates for the last person who gets thrown off the show each time.

I feel terrible because they tried so hard.

And just because of whatever circumstances they were, they came in the last and they go home.

They always have a good attitude about it.

I would have cursed Phil out and said, the heck with you and your show, I'm going home.

No, but they're not.

They're very nice about it.

And they say, you know, this was an adventure.

Maybe they're just tired and they want to get home.

I always love it when they, the first place person at each show wins a prize in Expedia for a trip to some foreign city.

They just spent, you know, three months in foreign cities.

Now their prize is a trip to a foreign city.

What you need is a trip around your hometown.

By Expedia, that would be nice.

All right.

During the making of the movie, the Titanic, Titanic 30 years ago, more than 50 cast and crew members

got seriously messed up when someone spiked their seafood chowder with chowda with Angel Best.

Suspect never named the Lisa about to release more information from their investigation.

What I found interesting here, Titanic was 30 years ago.

Wow.

A healthcare provider in Iowa is in trouble because they inserted an acupuncture needle

actually needles into someone.

They ran home for a bit, fell asleep and completely forgot about the patient sitting there with the needles.

The patient waited two hours after the session was supposed to end.

Then pulled the needles out of themselves and called the cops.

The patient's okay.

You waited two hours after the thing was, I wouldn't have waited that long.

Culver's tops a new ranking of America's best fast food chains.

Shake, shake, shake, and secondfall by in and out.

Those are two restaurants that aren't here in Wisconsin.

McDonald's Burger King Wendy's Hardies didn't even make the top 12.

Culver's number one, deserved so different, deservedly so.

They're very good culvers.

I love all their food there.

Turn to think what else.

Oh, what's it?

What's that chicken plate?

Chick-fil-A made the list too.

A little further down the list.

But the big ones, Burger King, McDonald's Wendy's didn't even make the list.

Two-man in New Jersey have been accused of stealing shopping carts, hundreds of shopping carts.

They're known as the shopping cart Bandits.

Now, if you think that's a laughable crime, those shopping carts are about two or three hundred dollars a piece.

They are very, very expensive.

When they're stolen, they can add a big time.

All right, Melissa Capralion coming into the laughter.

Seven cheese, our fifth district alder in their Racine also a member of the county board.

So she'll be in to give us an update of what's going on where our tax dollars are being spent.

That's coming up.

We're increasing plenty of this today, Eisner 52.

Right now, sunshine.

Because it's not just one of the proud.

But he always wants to try the thing they've never done.

Just because of that.

Hey, hey, hey.

He's the rebel and you'll never be any good.

He's the rebel cause he never ever done.

What is human?

Just because he doesn't do much.

Everybody else does.

That's no reason why I can give him all my love.

He is always good to me.

Always with me tendin' to him.

Cause he's the rebel more than us.

He's my rebel more than us to me.

He's the rebel and you'll never be any good.

He's the rebel cause he never ever done.

What is human?

Just because he doesn't do much.

Everybody else does.

That's no reason why we can't share a love.

He is always good to me.

Cause you'll never be my pride to me.

That's one of the groups my brother played with.

The crystals.

Back in the 60s, he was there.

You know, these groups came in with no band.

And when they played the East Coast, they had a higher band.

And my brother was always the band they hired.

So he played with the crystals a few times.

Nice ladies.

I met him once.

So one of my brothers trips there to play with him.

Speaking about songwriting teams, John Oats says hauling Oats are finished.

They're done.

He's suing.

I think John Oats is suing Darryl Hall or somebody suing somebody in that case.

And I think that's why everything's just crumbling of the scenes.

They were together so many years, but you know, teams break up.

Appen Castello broke up at Laurel and hard, Laurel and hardy didn't really break up.

They just kind of got old, but yeah, some do those just break up.

All right.

I want to try something different for lunch.

Paul says one in four Americans would try cicadas as food.

You know what cicadas are?

Those are those little bugs that come every seven or nine years, whatever it is seven years.

And they make that loud noise outside.

It's a very, I mean, it's deafening.

At least one restaurant has already added it to their menu.

A Mexican place called Lee's in, excuse me, in Leesburg, Virginia called Cochina is serving cicada tacos.

The owner says they were already serving grasshopper tacos.

So they added cicadas to the menu.

It's already ahead.

Really.

You know, when you think about what you eat anyway.

Well, let's see, in dating news, get a survey, more than two out of three women say they would date a geek.

The main reasons are that two and three people think they're loyal.

58% say they're extremely intelligent and 16% more likely to have a job.

Didn't get them for any other crime.

That's how they got them.

All right.

Switch eight waddles is in our news center.

Today has our news stories for us.

Here's what he's watching for us.

A restaurant employee in Burlington was killed yesterday in an accident with a garbage truck.

Burlington police say it happened at the parking lot of the pizza ranch with 34-year-old restaurant employee struck by the truck while walking in the parking lot.

The garbage company is ASDA and the driver is reportedly cooperating with the investigation.

The name of the employee hasn't been released.

The restaurant was closed at the time of the accident and didn't reopen for the rest of the day.

Races are coming for recene-unified teachers.

The recene-unified school district and recene educators United have reached a tentative agreement for a 2% base wage increase for the next school year.

The agreement needs approval from the teachers union members and the RUSD board.

The statement came.

Says that the increased acknowledges the financial challenges based by the district while striving for fair compensation for the staff.

Or soon unified school district is facing a fiscal cliff with projected deficits of at least $34 million in the coming years.

The alderman becomes a mayor today.

The swearing in ceremony for David Bogdala is in Kenosha.

He becomes the only the third mayor in the city in the past 32 years.

Bogdala had been the senior crisis manager at Abbott and the 17th district alderman.

John Antiramian had two runs as mayor for serving from 1992 to 2008 and again from 2016 until yesterday.

Bogdala beat Lydia Spotsworth with 53% of the vote in the spring election.

Those are the stories to which a waddles is keeping an eye on today.

They'll take on the brewers.

Right here on WRJN.

Melissa Capralion, our fifth district alder is coming in.

She will also she's also the one of the county board supervisors should be in to give us an update on what's going on in the counter.

And in the city of Racine, find out what's happening.

All right.

You do you eat in your car?

Yeah.

I'll tell you something.

My wife does not.

She allows no eating in her car.

I mean, even if I'm starving, you get out and eat it in the fast food restaurant.

You're not eating in this car.

I could drink water in the car.

I could even bring a milkshake in the car one day from Culver.

She wouldn't let me drink it in the car.

That's 63% of people say they do it in the car.

They eat there every day.

The many think people eat their breakfast on the way to work.

That means our car is getting pretty messy, but not messy enough for us to really do anything about it.

34% of people say they only clean their car out four times a year.

27% only do it before you go on a road trip.

If you go into somebody's car and you sit down as a French fry on the seat and just sat on a French fry.

Happens all the time, doesn't it?

I do clean my car.

But I remember one day my wife dropped something and she picked it up with a French fries on the floor.

I can't remember the last time I ate fast food.

I can't remember the last time I ate fast food period yet in a car.

But there was obviously a French fry still lingering from the days when I used to do it.

I keep this in mind.

If your husband or wife ever wins the lottery and starts screaming, I won.

Instead of we won, we won.

Survey found 19% of people say they would dump their significant other if they won the lottery.

That means there's a one in five shot you aren't going to be benefiting from that jackpot.

I won.

I was watching a Dick Van Dyke episode and they were they were reading a will.

And there was a couple there husband and wife couple.

And she I guess in the will she got some very expensive property in Florida.

And she goes, the man says, we're rich.

She goes, I am rich.

I guess that's what it comes down to.

Our keys are still the number one item we misplaced the most barely edging at our cell phone.

The top five keys, phone, sunglasses, umbrella, and your wallet or purse.

You know why I never misplaced anything?

Because I will not take it out of my pocket till I get to the dresser.

And I put everything on the dresser in the same spot every day.

I'm very meticulous about that.

And therefore I always know where everything is.

At my cell phone, I either put it on the table next to the couch or on my nightstand.

The only two places I'll ever leave it.

So I never misplaced it.

It's better than some people I live with.

Always misplacing items.

All right, it's easy to tell someone off with a string of profanities.

But keeping it clean, take some creativity.

People ask people to name their favorite insult that does not include any swear words.

You ready?

These are pretty good.

Can you use these in church?

I hope the rest of your day is as pleasant as you are.

That's good.

As an outsider, what's your view on intelligence?

That's an outsider.

That's good too.

I like that.

Everyone makes mistakes.

But you're really abusing that privilege.

See, those are good.

They don't have any swear words in them.

They're put downs.

But they're okay.

You can even use them.

I would use them with your pastor.

But you could.

They're okay to use in church.

Oh, those are good.

It's easy.

It's easy to come off passes of aggressive over email.

A few phrases that sound rude over email.

Per my last email, what actually sounds like is you didn't read it.

What I wrote, so pay attention this time.

Per my last email.

For future reference, now to people that could sound more like, let me correct your blatant

mistake that you should have known was wrong for future reference.

And bumping this to the top of your inbox is like saying, this is the third time I've

asked, get it done this time.

They are so good.

They are passive aggressive.

I like that first one.

Per my last email, obviously didn't pay attention to it, so per my last email, let me

repeat it.

That's good.

I need a whole list of those.

I also need a list of the put downs that don't have any swear words.

Only had three of them.

I need a lot more than that.

A 20-year-old guy in Spain, when viral after posting photos of the underground cave he

built.

They get away from his parents as a teenager.

He started building it at age 14, now has a living room, bedroom, music system and Wi-Fi

six years later.

He built an underground cavey built under his house.

Huh.

I wonder if he's got any plans for that, do you need to publish the plans?

Playing outside isn't fun anymore, is it?

The average parent says their kid can only mess around outside for 32 minutes before getting

bored.

72% of parents admit their whole family doesn't go outside enough.

There was a Simpson's episode where I guess the electricity went out or something like that.

And all the kids were complaining, they're bored, they couldn't play their video games,

they couldn't do anything, and they're driving the parents nuts.

And one by one, the kids on their own went outside and it was a beautiful day.

They started skipping rope, they started playing on the slides and the swings.

The boys started playing baseball and they started playing all these games outside because

there was no electricity in the house.

It was on the Simpson's, it was a good episode, and I hate to sound old.

You know, I remember when my father and grandfather said, when I was your age, well now I can

say, when I was your age, I didn't, we didn't have any video games obviously.

And TV's not what it's like today, I mean, there was just, you know, a handful of channels.

I mean, there was no cable or anything like that, definitely no VCRs or streaming or anything

like that.

Just to play outside all day, used to get up in the morning, get dressed and run outside

and come back for lunch after lunch, go back outside again, come back for dinner after

dinner, come back again with the Flintstones run TV when your parents called you in.

So it was, you know, I just showing, I went to lunch yesterday with a friend and I was

showing him the picture of the group of kids when we were like, I don't know, nine years,

only eight years old in the picture.

And I said, look at that group of friends, only two are still here, all the rest are gone.

All the friends I hung out with under the street light every night and played with

all day long are gone.

And that's, I feel bad about that.

Some died of sickness.

One person had, he was born with a rheumatic fever, had a bad heart, he passed away eventually.

One person just went nuts and took the wrong medication one day and she passed away.

And another person, one person committed suicide.

And you know, just, you lose your friends.

So just two of us left, Johnny and me and the last two standing, but yeah, it happens.

But I remember those days, I used to love playing outside.

I think I mentioned this.

My father had something there for a day, got a can of white paint and painted bases on

the street.

So we'd have permanent bases to play kickball and baseball and softball, whatever we wanted

to play.

He had the bases on there painted them right on the street until they tore up the street

and replaced the new asphalt.

Those bases were there for years.

And my father just had just came out with a can of white paint, painted them did a good

job too.

All right.

The top rule changes, kids won at the dinner table.

You're ready?

They don't like the rules you posted there, mom and dad.

So they want some changes here.

You can leave the table before everyone's finished.

You can watch TV while you eat.

Fones are allowed at the table and you can do anything with your hands.

You know, remember at home, we asked for permission when we had soup, can we drink it, put the

bowl up to our face and drink it right out of the bowl and at home, we could do it.

So we went to restaurants.

My brother and I didn't see any problem with asking, can we drink out of the bowl at a restaurant

and they thought, no, that's not good.

That's not a good habit to have.

You let us do it at home and boy, can we do it in the restaurant?

Never quite able to understand that.

Dad never quite explained that.

You know, there's no copyright or patent protection on magic tricks.

If a magician events a trick anyone's free to use it, they just have to figure out how

it's done.

There's an unwritten code though, so most magicians, you know, they don't do it.

They don't tell how it's done.

Oh, let's see here.

When else do we have, um, you check your smoke detector, you know, you're supposed to check

it once a month, two thirds of us haven't done it in 30 days, one in four people don't

own a fire extinguisher, one in ten people don't know where one is right now, even if

they own it is something interesting about that.

I know my fire detected my smoke detector works because every time we cook in the kitchen

and something's a little, you can't even see the smoke, but it's detected and we hear

this fire, fire, there's a fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, and we have to start waving at

it because although I can't see the smoke, it knows there's smoke from the stove, so we

just have to keep waving and it happens to get open all the doors to let the fresh air

in, even in the winter, 648 WRG and I've got tickets to give away this hour, I think

I'm going to give away this hour to Stargirl, what a great production at the receiving

theater girl, you're going to love it, got a pair of tickets for this, um, I think Saturday,

this Saturday, 2 p.m., the matinee, that's coming up here at WRGN Radio, increasing

climbing this with a high near 52 degrees today, showers and thunderstorms tonight and

tomorrow.

Right now, it's sunny, 47 degrees, 649 WRGN, hometown radio refreshed, a civic media station.

When I see her coming down the street, I get so shaky and I feel so weak, I tell my

eyes, look the other way, but they don't seem to hear a word I say and lie, go to pieces

and I almost die every time, my baby passes by, I tell my arms they'll hold someone

new, another love that will be true, but they don't listen, they don't seem to care,

they reach for her, but she's not there at all, go to pieces and I want to hide, go to pieces

and I almost die every time, my baby passes by, I remember what she said when she said,

goodbye, baby, we'll meet again soon, baby, but until we do, all my best to you, I'm so

lonely, think about her own, I go to places we used to go, but I know she'll never

know, she hurt me so much inside, now I hope she's satisfied and I go to pieces and I

want to hide, go to pieces and I almost die every time, my baby passes by, go to pieces

and I cry, every time, my baby passes by, I was got chatting Jeremy and Peter and Gordon

mixed up, they were like interchangeable, weren't they?

Sometimes I thought they were the same people, it's 6.52 WRJ and Radio, I'm Don Rosen,

thank you for joining me here on this Tuesday morning, the day after tax day, I don't have

to keep her minding you if you paid your taxes, doing all right, before you can wish you

could win the lottery, the downside of winning the lottery is all the people who come out

of the woodwork to get a piece of it, a study found that yes, that's usually what happens,

the average lottery winner gains one extra friend for every $5,000 they win, so let's say

you want a million dollars, the number of friends would increase by 200 people, I can use

some friends, if that's what it takes, that's why you know, people want to win the one

billion dollar of power ball, but they don't want to tell anybody they won, but unfortunately

it's in the rules, you have to come forward and give your name and everything else, so

people are going to know, I don't think it's the friends that bother you, it would be

all those people who are trying to sell you something, the scam artists, let's see here,

this guy ran out of gas, man in Kentucky, coasted to the closest gas station while running

on fumes, bought a lottery ticket while he was filling up, and yes, he won a million dollars

and according to this, he got 200 new friends at the same time, feel good story time, a student

who uses a wheelchair graduated from Seton Hall this week, and her service dog got a diploma

as well, his name is Justin, and he went to all the classes with her, so the school gave

him his own honorary degree, he grabbed the diploma and his mouth, the crowd went nuts,

I love that story, Charlotte North Carolina letting the public name a street sweeper,

these are the finalists in the names of the street sweeper, clear O'Pathra,

which I thought was clever, sweep Caroline and sweepy McSweep face, gonna like that one,

sweepy McSweep face, clear O'Pathra, that's clever, I like that too, if you want to look younger

in pictures, all you need to do is smile, a study found that when people smiled in photos,

people thought they were an average of two years younger, see, I have to get my driver's license

renewed, and I don't think I smiled in my driver's license, so what I want to do is get that

retaken that picture, plus you know, they say, well, you don't really have to get your driver's

license retaken your picture, but eventually you're gonna be like, you know, 80 years old and

look like you're 20, and that picture's gonna be useless, so I'm gonna down there get a fresh

picture taken. I hear some weird things that aren't vegetarian friendly, you would think they

would be, but they're not. We've got bananas, not friendly, beer, orange juice with omega-3,

marshmallows, altoids, parmesan, figs, bagels, peanuts, and barley, huge hips.

Marshmallows, these to me I was something called marshmallow root, but now marshmallow

companies use gelatin, which is made for animal byproducts. If a vegetarian eats something

animal based, are they gonna like burst into flames? I mean, what's gonna happen? I mean,

I'm sure I eat stuff that I wouldn't want to eat, but I don't think I would have, you know,

spontaneous combustion. All right, a study from Harvard University found up to six servings of

milk chocolate a week is actually good for your hearts. This is the stuff I need to know,

because I was told when I was a kid, don't eat chocolate, you'll break out. Well, now they're

telling you it's good for you. All right, you can keep your from developing at a regular heartbeat.

That's one six ounce serving, so about four Hershey bars a week. See, 13 years ago, I had open

heart surgery. I could have prevented that by eating chocolate, and it saved all that

anguish, pain, and money. But no, they wanted to cut me open. All right, a website ranked the best

frozen pizzas out there. Mine is not on the list. They ranked number one was red baron, followed by

de jorenos, hot pockets, stofers, French bread, and california pizza, california pizza chicken,

kitchen rather. My favorite is home run pizza from Chicago. It's just loaded with cheese on it.

It's just by wife and I just love eating that pizza, and unfortunately, they don't give you a lot

of it, so, but it's really good. All right, it's sick 57. Let's give away some tickets now.

Stargirl is at the Racine Theater Guild. I just saw it last week. Young actors, you'd never,

they're like Broadway quality. I smelled Tony Award with these kids. Leo Burlock's life in high

school has been all but fitting in and keeping the status quo until a new student arrives who calls

herself Stargirl. By the way, the actress is very good to play Stargirl. She stands out in every

way from her clothing to her stories to her hobbies, even her pet rat, her free spirited eccentric

personality goes against the peer pressure to conform that Leo and his fellow classmates expect.

It's based on the Jerry Spinelli novel. Stargirl is coming from a story that's so true to yourself.

You're going to know someone who you want to school with who is Stargirl. You want a pair of

tickets? All right, if you haven't won anything in the past 60 days, give me a call right now.

262-634-9756-262-634-WRJN-262-634-9756. The show is this Saturday, 2 p.m. I got a pair of

tickets waiting for you right now. 262-634-9756. Good luck. Onlines are open. 658. We're going to

find out where your tax dollars are going. Melissa Caprillian is in. She's your fifth district

alder and also she is a county board supervisor. She'll know where they're going. As a matter of

fact, now that we just paid our taxes yesterday, the coffers are full once again. 658.WRJN
