The only choice I make when it comes to clothing is does it still fit me?
I don't know if you've had an opportunity to fat out of clothes.
That's a special feeling.
There are watershed moments in your life, right?
When you hold your newborn child or you fat out of a t-shirt,
it's amazing because you don't even go to the obvious conclusion.
You're like, well, this shirt used to fit.
I haven't grown since I was a teenager.
I don't have time for a burrito.
The best is when you pack for a trip and you fat out of clothes,
but you don't realize until you get there.
There you go.
Well, I guess I could wear that as long as I don't breathe out or sit down.
I still have all the clothes that don't fit me.
They're in my closet in case I have a dramatic weight loss over a weekend.
It's ridiculous.
It's like I'm curating an exhibit of my weight gain.
Well, that suit was from 30 pounds ago and that sweater was from last winter.
And this shirt, this shirt, never fit.
Have you done that?
Have you bought clothes that don't fit?
Thinking that'll be the incentive to lose weight?
It's like I've only gained weight for the last 40 years.
Maybe this shirt will turn it around.
Have you lose weight?
I bought a shirt.
It worked.
The wind blows hard against this mountainside
Across the sea into my soul
It reaches into where I cannot hide
Setting my feet upon the road
Part is old, hopes my memories
My body burns in just like a flame
Don't wear the tweezers on the sheet
It's where I find myself again
Q&A is on top of the cold that I must travel
Q&A is a good time, it's a good night
Q&A is on where I go with this new bottle
Q&A is on the highway in the night
So whenever I happen to these groups like Mr. Mr. and the 80s they were on top of the heap
Now where are they?
Where did these guys go?
It's 609 at WRJ and Radio I'm Don Rosen
I want to thank you for joining us here on this Friday
We're going to have an extended segment with Brett Hoffman at 730 today
My clements under the weather, so he won't be joining us with sports
Until then, just you and me
So I pulled up to a traffic light today
And a guy pulls up next to me, his base was so loud in his car
That my steering wheel was vibrating under my hand
It was so loud, boom, boom, boom, boom
How does this person drive in the car with that base on?
And I thought, well, all right, so I let him get ahead of me and he was out of there
The next car to pull up had the same thing, loud base, they must have been together
It just was so loud, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom
And it could feel the whole car vibrating
That's only my first gripe this morning, I have another one coming up
The next one's a good one, no, and it's deservedly so
For today, we've got clotty weather for us
Heist 37, clotty lows around 32 tonight, chance of rain
And snow tomorrow, nothing much
Heist near 37, it's not going to stick or anything
We're accumulating
Sunday, clotty, a slight chance of snow, Heist near 38
I hate to say it, where's winter?
I'm happy with the way it is
But is this what they call global warming?
I mean, come on, we're in January here and we rarely
I don't, I think one day so far this winter
We've been below freezing during the daytime
Now I'm not complaining, I just, I'm curious, kind of spooky
That we're not colder
All right, do you want to hear my other gripe?
Well, I was going to save it, but I'll give it to you now
So I go to my cable company yesterday, I had to return the remotes
Because they weren't working, give me new remotes
So I get there about three o'clock or so and the doors are locked
I'm banging on the window, no one's there
I see other people pulling up and banging on the window with me, no one's there
So I call the cable company
And till you can get a live person on the phone eventually I get a live person
Very nice lady, very nice
And she says, what we can't call the individual stores
They, we don't communicate with them, they have no phones in there
I said during the communication business, what do you mean you don't have a phone in there?
That's your, that's your lifeblood communication
They said we can't call the stores because we can't communicate
They said what hours are they open? I said 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It's three o'clock in the afternoon
Is there a note on the door? I said no, no notes
And there's nobody inside? I said lock nobody inside
So she said, well hold on, she comes back a few minutes later
We don't stand outside this whole time
So thanks for holding, we're going to email the manager
And find out what's going on me while seven or eight people have pulled up
And they're angry because they drove down there
And there's not an emergency for me, but you know some of these people had stuff to do in there
So I leave, I run another couple of errands
I come back one hour later, the door is still locked, now there's 10 people in the parking lot
And they're angry, one lady is just cursing up a storm
And she drove a long way to get there
And she is really upset
Don't know what happened
I really don't know, I'm going to go back today and find out
But that's weird that in the middle of the day
And usually they have three or four employees in this place
But there was nobody there
My wife said I should call the police, maybe there was something wrong inside the store
I reject Racine County, I have this morning to see if there was a story about it
But no, I just think somebody, either, I don't think they went to lunch or dinner
Because they were gone over an hour
And so, you know, outlawing to take you to eat
So I left, I'll go back today
I don't know what was happening unless somebody had a medical emergency and got sick and just locked the door
But then you put a note on the door real quickly, just say, closed for, you know
Till further notice, you know, got sick or had to go home or something like that
You don't leave people stranded in the parking lot there, wondering if you're going to open
So two guys were sitting there while I wait till they open
I said, I don't think they're opening
I mean, over an hour ago, I was here
And they were still locked up an hour later
So I don't think they're opening
Oh, wait, nine
So it's self
So anyway, that was my two gripes of the day
The base in the car and my cable company was not there yesterday
I don't know where they went
It'd be interesting to find out today
I know I'm going to go in today
I don't know when to think about that
Don't know when to think about that
Do you want two newer months?
Here you go
All right
It was just curious
And I hope everything was okay
You know, my wife got me thinking that maybe somebody was injured inside or something
But the door was locked
The lights were on
All those little things were going in there, you know, their screens and everything
But nobody was there, kind of spooky
All right
People are apparently on the hunt for vintage 1996 calendars online
On eBay, they're selling between $20 and $200
Now, why do you want a 1996 calendar?
It's identical to 2024
And it won't be unusable again until 2052
When the 1996 and 2024 calendars will work again, 2052
What do you need the 1996 calendar?
It's got a 2024 calendar
Why you going to spend $200 for a 1996 calendar?
That doesn't make sense
A couple of Pittsburgh freaked out after the dog ate $4,000 in cash
They just withdrew from the bank
The good news is they got $3,500 of a back
The bad news is how they did it
Now you're probably eating breakfast or wake up so I'm not going to tell you
But you could imagine how they got the money back
A 13 year old in Oklahoma just became the first person to beat Tetris
Remember Tetris?
I haven't played that in years
It became never actually ends
But it can eventually freeze up at a certain point
And he made it to level 152
When he finally did freeze up
Until now only artificial intelligence have been able to do with that kid
He's 13 years old
I remember years and years ago
I had super mario brothers
I think it was super mario brothers
And I got to the highest level and I finished
I was so excited
I started calling people, telling people
And they were hanging up on me
Now here's how I did it
We bought a cheater
It was a...
I didn't get to describe this thing
Instead of putting the game in the slot
You put the cheater in the slot
Then you put the game in on top of the cheater
And you have unlimited lives
They can never get you out
And that's how I did it
And you don't have to go back to the beginning of the game for making a mistake
It's just where you left off
So that's how I beat super mario brothers
This kid did it legitimately
He didn't have to cheat like I did
Alright, if your plans this year
If you made a New Year's resolution to commit a crime
Don't do it in Japan
Almost every case that goes to court in Japan
And it's in a guilty verdict
The country has get this a 99.9% conviction rate
So if you're going to commit a crime
Pick another country
A Burger King employee in Nevada
Name Kevin Ford is in the news once again
After a GoFundMe help him buy his first house
You see a video in viral of him two years ago
When he got a bunch of lame swag
I remember that story
This guy didn't miss a single day of work for 27 years
And they gave him some real junk
Since then the GoFundMe page has raised almost $450,000 to help him retire
He posted a picture of his new home
He just said I know it's not a mansion
But it's mine
Kevin, happy retirement to you
You deserve it
I forgot who was in the bag
But I remember the story Kevin
This guy didn't miss a day of work in 27 years
And they gave him some lame junk over at Burger King
The thank him for his years and years of service
Isn't that terrible?
That's just awful

Where today it's going to be cloudy
At 137 cloudy tonight
Those 32 chance of rain and snow
Highs 37 tomorrow
Sunday cloudy is line chance of snow
Highs near 38
Right now, mostly clear 24 degrees
In receipt
All right, the price of postage
Going up 2 cents later this month
39% of people said
Who of the United Postal Service
Raising stamp prices by 2 cents
But get this, what has
How much a stamp cost only 14% knew
Though I knew what a
I you know I didn't know
I buy these forever stamps obviously
And I don't have the postage on there
So I never you never give it thought
Because I buy a lot of them
So when they raise the price
It doesn't affect me for a while
Just you know at 66 cents
I hate to date myself
To put on letters 4 cents
When I was a kid
I used to hate when my grandfather used to come
I went to the movies for a nickel
They gave you a candy bar popcorn
I'll ride home
And they gave you
All this stuff
And when you go to the movies
I started to become my grandfather doing that kind of stuff
But yeah, it's 66 cents
I still think it's a bargain
I have no idea
When I pop a letter in that mailbox
It's the country
In just a couple of days
People say they lose mail all the time
I've never lost anything
Everything's always gotten
I take that back a magazine
Back in last late last year
I didn't get
I call the magazine company
They never did
Service went out the window
Yeah, I just don't know
I think it's a great bargain 66 cents
Here's a letter
66 cents
What a bargain
What a bargain to do that
So yeah, I have no problem
When they're raising the price
And you get the forever stamps
If you buy a lot of them, the price doesn't affect you for a while
So that's good
That was a good idea the forever stamps
I like that
All right
Showbiz news
It's the end of an era
Coming to an end
Because she mispronounced the word
Congenial
They didn't give it to her
Britney Spears foul
She will never ever return
To the music industry again
Despite reports she's working on a new album
This is all true
Isn't that weird
All right, it's a fun fact for you
More than 30 million people in China
Living caves
30 million not all in the same cave
I imagine
It's Adam West and Liam Neeson
We're all offered the role of James Bond
And all of them turned it down
Now maybe Clint Eastwood
Bert Reynolds and Liam Neeson had careers going on
But Adam West
I think this was before Batman
Even Batman
I mean how long did he think that was going to last on TV
He turned down the role of James Bond
I don't think he would have been good
Yeah, I think you have to have a British accent for James Bond
I don't think the
Bert Reynolds could have pulled it off
But they turned it down so we'll never know
When the pandemic first hit
And the parks closed down
A dad and Florida built his kids a full basketball court to play on
Then the Jims closed he built them a gymnasium
Well now he's continuing this
ongoing project building with his latest
A 310-foot roller coaster in the woods behind the house
Wow, what a dad, dad of the year
I make him dad of the century
My dad used to build stuff all the time
Never built me a roller coaster though
He did build a lot of stuff though
Seven out of 10 people who won't pet
Say they let their pets get away with pretty much everything
71% say they're more forgiving of their pets bad habits
Then there's significant others bad habits
My daughter's got a dog
And she never complains about that
That dog can do anything
But if her husband does one thing wrong
I hear about it
But the pet
The pet can get away with anything
It's just the way it is I guess
Researchers at Texas A&M
Are working on a new artificial intelligence program
That could tell when your spouse
Is in a bad mood just by listening to their voice
I don't need to, I could tell my wife's in a bad mood
I don't need anybody to tell me that
I think it's pretty obvious when I'm in a bad mood
All answers are one word
So are we going anywhere?
No
Are we feeling okay?
Yes
Want to watch TV?
No, that's how I know
It's just your one word and one syllable
Here's a fun fact for you
The producers of the movie Gone With The Wind
We'll find $5,000 for using the word damn in the movie
That famous line where Clark Gable leaves the mansion
And says to Scarlet O'Hara turns around and says frankly my dear
I don't give a damn
$5,000 but
Made movie history
That line is one of the most famous lines in movie history
It only cost them $5,000
What a deal
Losing weight can make you look much older
Doctors found that when people lose fat in their face
It deflates their cheeks
Makes their eyes look hollow and sunken
And makes their jowls sag and look heavy
Well, there's an advertisement to lose weight
Okay, four guys and jowls waiting to hear this story
Four guys in China didn't want to pay a $46 fee to bring a box of oranges with them on the plane
So they ate the entire 66-pound box of oranges at the airport
They all wound up with mouth ulcers from the oranges and they say
They will never ever eat oranges again
How many oranges is 66 pounds
It's got to be a lot
Odd but true
The whoopie cushion was invented in the 1920s
At a rubber factory in Toronto, Canada where employees were messing around with scrap rubber
I never know what the next million dollar idea is coming from
A woman in Florida was cleaning out her grandfather's house after he passed away at 98
Found a ten box hidden in the fireplace with $4,000 in it
She says her family knew he hid money in different spots
But didn't think it would be that much
Now they're using metal detectors all over the yard
The search they found a bottle of old coin so far
Why would you hide money at paper money in the fireplace?
Aren't you afraid that my catch fire is a burn-up and you're out $4,000
You wouldn't think you'd hide that kind of money in the fireplace with you
Anyway
Just with those thieves no there's no money hidden in my house
So if you go to my house forget it
There's no money hidden anywhere it's all in the bank

I think a lot of the media outlets are irresponsible
It's all shock value, it's all ratings
You think they could stop putting these experts on the news
With their doomsday scenarios
Of how the terrorists might attack us
Because you get the sense that they're coming up with ideas
That these people haven't thought of themselves
Like you know Wolf very few people know this
But there's actually an incredibly important atomic substation
Located right in O'cala, Florida now
It wouldn't be hard for them to find
I'll show you right here on the map
All that would say
There's a very small, close and charged place
In this exact spot right here
I mean even a firecracker would do it well for a bottle rocket
I mean you could smear an egg McMuffin right in this spot
And they would do it
There's only one security guard there, his name's Bob
And he's a bit of a boozer
So imagine the average of you right now
The heat is on all the street
Inside your head
For every beat
And the beat's alive
Deep inside
The pressure's high
Just to stay alive
There's a heat as long

We're seeing county investigators think it's possible there are additional victims in the case involving a 41-year-old woman from Burlington
Carrie Hughes is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a person under the age of 13
It's alleged she went since sexual messages and had relations with a minor
Authorities say Hughes would have interactions with their victim in her home
Under the guise of a sleepover with her own child
Several Lake County communities have passed ordinances to impound buses and or fine operators
For unscheduled micron drop-offs
Leaders in Waukegan, North Chicago, and Grace Lake
Are taking action to stop the buses
After the city of Chicago started cracking down on those coming into the country illegally
The Waukegan Orkans and Acts finds the bus companies for unscheduled drop-offs
And grants the government the authority to impound the buses involved
A vending machine with Narcan is now at a Kenosha County community center
Outside the Hope Council on 39th Avenue near 60th Street

In a recent 12-day stretch, Kenosha County officials reported nine overdoses
The vending machine also has fentanyl test strips which allows illegal drug users to test for the presence of fentanyl
The Racine County executive is praising the county's diversity efforts when it comes to construction of a new youth lock-up

The Kenosha City Council approved an intergovernmental agreement outlining the terms of the deal with the monomedy tribe

Those of the stories are news director Stuart J. Wattles is keeping an eye on in the news center this morning
And he'll have more news and updates throughout the day all day long at WRJ and radio
Home town radio refreshed
All right, got some cheerful news here
A website posted the odds of dying from various accidents in your lifetime
The odds of dying in a car accident 101 to one an airplane crash 11,756 to one and a lightning strike 138,849 to one
Unlike the odds of that traffic accident 101 to one that sounds almost like a sure thing
Don't like that at all
A 66 year old cafeteria workers stole one and a half million dollars worth of chicken wings
She ordered the wings but didn't take them to the school she was caught because the school doesn't have wings because of the bones
It's unclear what she was actually dealing with all those chicken wings
She's currently being held on a $150,000 bond
Isn't she a big barbecue in the backyard or something
Hmm
If you're stuck in traffic right now listen up a study found it might be making you dumber
Not because you're not because you're listening to WRJ and of course
Research has found the exhaust from cars and big trucks on the road
Could be affecting your brain at least temporarily two hours of sitting in traffic
Could have a noticeable effect on brain power short term at a mic cause ongoing issues if you're exposed to fumes every day
The good news is there's something to do about it
Keep your windows up in traffic and make sure your cabin air filter isn't too old
You know, that's interesting
Why we were driving her car and she opened up the glove compartment and there's a filter in there
An air filter I didn't know about it
I didn't want her fudging around with it while we were driving because we were in the middle of nowhere at the time far from home
And I said well why don't we wait till we get home but we never checked it again
In the glove compartment an air filter you take it out and you're supposed to change it
Who knew they don't tell you that stuff when you buy the car
All right, let's schedule the meeting
Your worst meeting is on Mondays because it's most likely to get cancelled
A lot of federal holidays this year on Mondays
But you'll probably also see some cancellations throughout the year for people's long weekends
So if you can schedule an important meeting I guess Mondays is not the day to do it
A small town hardware store in Kentucky getting national exposure thanks to the owner's weird sense of humor
It's called J Town hardware in the Louisville suburb of Jefferson town
The guy used to work there as a teenager he now owns the place back then
He started putting up silly lines on the sign outside
Like Elvis buys his paint here
And our carpet cleaners remove blood
Now he owns the place and installed a digital side so he can go wild with it
I guess that carpet cleaners removing blood is for all the people who commit murders and say you want to get rid of the blood
We can do it for you
You know I watch enough date lines in 2020s to know you can't get rid of everything
You can't
That's why they solve murders
Because you always make a mistake
One of the biggest mistakes people make is when they're interrogated they keep changing their stories over and over again
That's how they know you're guilty
And also you ever see these people on date line in 2020 and all these true crime shows
When they're interrogated they start crying
But they don't have any tears
Now it is possible to cry without tears I guess but
Mmm, it's a red flag
Let's put it that way they're crying their eyes out
And their eyes aren't red and there are no tears
They're aching it
Yeah the other thing
They leave DNA all over the place
And you know they clean the carpet they buy bleach
The whole house smells like bleach all of a sudden
And you know
Jim Gaffkin did a comedy bit once
He said you're going to hotel
And right in the lobby the smell of bleach gets you
It's either from their pool or they just clean up a murder scene
You know and that's the size of it
Some guy took a picture of seven different pens
PNS pens
And asked which one would you pick
If you can only use one for the rest of your life
It's been viewed millions of times
Through thousands of votes too
We have a lot of time in our hands don't we?
But I'll answer that
Because gel pens I only buy gel pens
I love gel pens
Can't tell you why
But I found something interesting about gel pens
I was watching report on channel 12 news yesterday
And I knew about this because two of our friends were affected by it
Check washing
These low lives
These scum of the earth go into mailboxes
And they steal the mail
They open up everything
They find the ones with checks in it
And they use acetone
To get the ink off the checks
And then they write themselves a check
They deposit and the phony bank account take the cash out
And they got your money
I mean they got they have your money a lot of it
So they broke up the ring
They're like 14 or 15 people they arrested
And they broke up the
The ring they were called scamily
That's what they call themselves
Like scams and family together
So I read and you
Acetone will not take gel pen out of the check
Because gel pen the ink actually penetrates the paper
Where ballpoint pens are on the surface
So they can
Wash the ballpoint pen ink off
But they can't wash gel pen ink off
But still
I don't know how they did it
But they got keys to these mailboxes
That you know put your mail in on the street
So my wife told me about this about a month or so ago
And I got spooked by it
So now I only mail my mail at the post office itself
I go into the post office
Which doesn't guarantee it because they held up a mail truck
And they stole all the mail out of the mail truck
So you know
They caught them
But there's going to be more people to replace them
Guaranteed
I think you know if you're that smart
To figure this stuff out
Why just get a job
I mean if you're that smart someone's going to hire you
You have search in general
Says he thinks
13 is too young to join social media
Even though that's the minimum age for the apps
He said
Kids should wait until they're 16 or 18
Good luck with that parents
That's your kid they can't get on social media
They're 18 years old
Talk about him mutiny
There's a couple of fun facts for you
Oh, we did the fun facts yesterday
Okay, I won't do that now
I don't know what this is still doing here
Oh, I know why
This story
Did you think you and your pet have similar personalities
Over half a pet owners say yes
They do
The most common personality traits people
Are not curious funny goofy annoying and weird
I was going to add some other things to there but I won't
Let's see where we are time wise here
Okay
Oh, I was going to do that story but I don't think I will
A new work term
Rage applying came up
It's been trending online
It's when you're so fed up with your job
You go home and apply for a ton of other jobs
That seemed better
Rage applying
Because you're
Instead of raging
And banging your fist on something you apply for new jobs
Um
Who are some other terms
Copycat layoffs
The idea that layoffs are contagious
When one corporation starts canning people
Other companies decide they should too
Chaotic working
It's also called malicious compliance
It's when you break rules
It works to help out a friend for example
Or up sizing their food order for free
But I have time to tell you this story
I was working in Atlanta at a radio station
At the shift I was doing was till midnight
And one of the engineers was late all the time
He was having home problems
A wife ran away with a truck driver
And left him with like seven kids
Anyway, so he was late
And he was told that if he's late again he's fired
And I said oh brother
So I went by the security desk in the back
Was a huge company
We had radio tv newspapers cable
Everything in the building
Went back and I punched in his time card for him
Which I have no idea why I would do something like that
But I did it because I didn't want to even get fired
With all these kids and yet enough problems
So the security guard comes back
To the studio and says
We're looking for
He said we're looking for him where is he
I said I don't know
Well, we know he's here as time cards punched in
We have to find him right away
And there was a guy with him
I said oh my goodness
That would be a picture of my whole career
I was in my 20s my whole career is over
This is I'm working one of the biggest stations in America
WSB and my career is over
Right here
It turns out it was a repo guy
They were repossessing his car
Because he didn't make the payments on it
And the repo guy showed up to
Repossess his car
And so
That's why they were there
And he said well I know he's here because he punched in
So then he showed up
He just you know me and her down the hall
Came in put his
Bag down
And had a hand over the keys
And I said to him I won't do this ever again
I had to do it I had to go down the air
And my my hands were shaking my voice was quivering
I was so scared
So I said never again
Don't be late again
I don't know how he'd go I got him at home
Seven kids and his wife just hopped in a truck
Where the guy and took off
He was back in 1979 or something
So it happened to him
Oh bad for the guy
That's why I punched his car in
So you should never do that
What's that called when you do that
That's called chaotic working
Militious compliance
Oh my goodness
Shift shock
When you're excited about a new job
But after a few shifts you realize you hate it
It's also called new hires remorts

Any money was a police officer
You know
New York City police officer
His entire family was in the police force
So he went along with it
Out of the game were patrolled on the streets
I think he worked in the office
But he may have been on the streets at one time
New York City cop
And decided to go to music route
And lucky for us he did
He was on
He was on
King and Queens once
When
The two guys on the show
Made a bet
I guess a Vegas type bet or whatever
And they won big money and they didn't want their wives to know about it
So they spent it all
And one of them was to have a private concert in their living room
By any money
And that's the best way to get a concert
You see the life
Take me home tonight
Listen on it
Just like what I said
Be not in the pain
Be not in the pain
Just like what I said
You see the life

Look for a cloudy day with a hundred thirty seven
To add to rain and snow tomorrow
With a high near thirty seven nothing sticking
And cloudy with a slight chance of snow
Highs near 38 on Sunday
Right now it's 24 and mostly clear

Let you come to see the life
All right a tick-tocker
Who wants to call customer service a lot
Because their job posted a simple hack
That they'll bypass hold
And get you talking to a human
Are you ready for this?
This is how they claim to do it
When they get to the main menu
This woman hits 0 pound
Three times in a row
Person i just keep saying they weren't operator
No matter what the operator operator
I just keep saying that eventually i'll get to an operator
Thanks a while
When i get there
Ah a woman sold an original iPhone
From 2007
It still has the factory seal on it
Solded at auction
What do you think that a phone would go for
You and i would probably throw it in the trash
She sold it at auction for $63,000
An iPhone from 2007
So she got it as a gift from her friends
But never opened it because she had a phone that she liked
I saw a bag phone
Anybody want to buy it?
Remember the bag phones?
I have one of those
It's not sealed
It's a little beaten up
It's a bag phone
Odd but true
The guy who invented the parachute died testing it
He was a tailor in France
He invented the first parachute in 1912
He died when it didn't quite work right
So then he didn't invent it
If he would have invented the parachute
He would have landed successfully and walked away from it
But it didn't work
So i guess he really didn't invent it
Made a job pretty smart
A pizzeria in Ohio is going viral
Because they have a sign out front saying
Now hiring non-stupid people
Nothing wrong with that sign
Why do performers do the Super Bowl halftime show?
Why do performers do the Super Bowl halftime show?
Rihanna had the largest streaming week of her career
Following her Super Bowl performance
With 166.13 million streams
She also became the seventh artist
In the last 50 years to have five albums
In the top 50 on the Billboard 200 chart
Broken by of course
I think Taylor Swift just broke any record on the Billboard top 200 chart
Do you know they don't pay artists to do the Super Bowl halftime show?
They have to do it free
There are so many perks though when you do it
Because
You know
You make a lot like Brianna
You get so much, you know, publicity
And if you're good on it, you sell a lot of streams
And sell CDs anymore
They sell a lot of stuff
So they do make money off it
Okay, the Florida Senate
Is considering a bill that would make it illegal
To let your dogs stick its head out the window of the car while driving
A bill in the Florida state Senate is supposed to keep pets safe from prevent animal cruelty
The window thing is just one part of it
It will also make decline cats illegal in Florida
They'd bar people from driving with their pets on their lap
And they'd ban the sale of rabbits in the lead up to Easter
Because so many people abandoned them later on
Yeah, decline cats
We didn't do that when we had a cat
Because if the cat got loose, the cat was defenseless
Couldn't defend itself
So we don't, we never
We never did that
If you tried everything else
Try this, scientists in China say
You can lose weight by cutting your food into little pieces
And scattering them across your plate
It's supposed to trick your brain into the thinking
You're eating a bigger portion than you are
My brain's a little smarter than that
I couldn't pull that off
We knew that AI would come here for all our jobs eventually
But didn't think it would happen like this
The Washington Post did a big write-up on how companies are now using AI
To choose who gets laid off
The surface seems like a pretty cold and inhumane way to let people go
But some think it might level the playing field and make sure valuable employees don't get let go
I don't think AI likes me, I wouldn't want that to happen
No
I certainly found most common random acts of kindness we do
To our letting someone go ahead of you in line
Asking a neighbor how they're feeling
Doing a favor for someone while they're out of town
Like watching their pet or signing for a package
Giving up your seat for an elderly or pregnant person
Checking in on a loved one
And the survey else of 23% of people
Have never performed an act of random kindness in their entire life
That seems kind of nasty, doesn't it
Hmm
