Once more, Wisconsin Republicans move to put a Constitutional referenda on the next ballot to 'make voting more secure' through voter ID. Of course what that will really accomplish is voter suppression. The Wisconsin Legislature seeks to change our state Constitution through referendum proposed to the citizens. But why can't citizens propose referenda in a similar manner, to be voted on through state-wide ballots? Governor Evers is proposing just that, though Legislative Republicans, lead by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos assert that the measure is DOA- dead on arrival.
