The race for Wisconsin Supreme Court heats up between Judge Susan Crawford and Judge Brad Schimel. Both candidates appeared yesterday on WISN's UPFRONT for interviews. Each candidate discussed their views on recusal, money in the race, and hinted towards their views on abortion.

In other Wisconsin news, President Trump's financial decapitation of the National Institute of Health (NIH) will devastate UW's research capabilities. In response, Wisconsin joins with 21 other states to bring a lawsuit. Because Trump lacks the authority to revoke funds already appropriated. In fact, these funding slashes are fully unconstitutional, violating the allocation of the purse to Congress, NOT the executive branch.
