The United States Department of Defense is a massive, complex organization that employs over 3 million Americans with an annual budget of nearly $1 trillion. The person to lead this machinery must have extensive experience with managing vast groups with competing needs. They must have strength of character to represent our country at home and abroad. In short, they must not be Pete Hegseth, who faced his Senate confirmation hearing today. In this hour, Dom and Jess listen to some of the questioning of Trump's nominee to lead the Department of Defense. The United States Senate bears responsibility for advising the President on their nominees before consenting- OR NOT. Despite his lack of qualifications, he seems poised to skate by with a bare minimum confirmation vote.
