Jim Santelle, host of Amicus: A Law Review, joins us to cohost today. We've got so many legal questions for Jim, starting with one raised by an opinion piece on The Hill. Can lawmakers, right now, use Section 3 of the Constitution's 14th Amendment to prevent Trump from retaking office? This clause asserts that an oath-breaking insurrectionist cannot lead the country as president. Can this go anywhere? Probably not, but it sure is an interesting thought. So what can still happen to hold Trump and his insurrectionists accountable? Well, we're still waiting on Jack Smith to release his final report. Now that this case will not go to trial, Dom hopes that Smith will refrain from any tempering in the report he may have planned for a trial case.
