First off, let's state the obvious. Political violence is never acceptable. Over the weekend, an attempted assassin waited at one of Trump's Florida golf courses with a high-powered gun. Trump's Secret Service detail shot at the man before he ever had Trump in his sights or took a shot and the alleged would-be assassin is now in custody. And, of course, Trump immediately took to social media to seek donations and blame his Democratic opponents for *checks notes* using extreme and hateful rhetoric that incites violence. Huh. That, that seems like projection.
