Now live from the civic media studios in Madison, Wisconsin, where the political party is just beginning,

welcome to the devil's advocates radio show.

Friends proving it's never personal, only politics.

And now here's your host, Dom and Crout.

Welcome to the devil's advocates radio show.

The Humpdale edition right here downtown Milwaukee.

The occasion.

R&C MKE 2024.

We've got a rooftop birchdom.

We got helicopters overhead.

We got cops on the river, cops on the street.

And delegates walking around Milwaukee with maxi pads on their area.

What a straight fashion choice.

RIP GOP MKE 2024.

That party much like the American dream as Donald Trump told us in 2016 is dead.

The American dream is dead.

No, no, Humpdale's bringing it back.

Didn't you hear?

I thought he was bringing sexy back with his porn stashio mustache.

Uh, this choice though, this active solidarity with the Cheeto, Messiah, Dom.

Apparently the R&C attendees are sporting ear bandages in solidarity with rock.

Come on.

Dateline Milwaukee, some delegates, some delegates.

Not all not everyone's got a maxi pad on their ear, but some delegates attending this week's Republican national convention have started up a new fashion trend.

Um, you wearing a collared shirt with all the mug shots on it.

That's the fashion trend.

I find most appealing at this moment.

But the new fashion trend and ear bandage mimicking the one former president Trump is wearing after he was hit by a bullet over the weekend.

I heard that bullet pierced his ear, Dom.

Do you think you'll come back with an earring like upper ear earring?

Do you think you'll choose to hang something from them?

Uh, you know, we still have not seen a medical report out to what the actual injuries have been.

Uh, well, air Trump said they blew off half his ear, but that apparently is not the case.

Well, low hyperbole for no stitches required, but they blew off half his ear.

You know, I do have a year story and I did require stitches and I didn't even get shot.

A little bit more here when Trump entered the convention on Monday for his first public appearance since he was bloodied in an assassination attempt at a Saturday rally.

He wore a white bandage over his right ear, which he said was hit with a bullet.

I like how they report them, which he said was hit by a bullet on Tuesday.

Some attendees sought to pay tribute to the look.

Joe Nakalia Delgate from Arizona told CBS News it represented the newest fashion trend.

Oh, it's a trend.

Everybody in the world is going to be wearing these pretty soon.

He said, explaining that he folded up a piece of paper on a bus ride over to the arena.

Stacy Goodman, another Arizona Delgate, who was wearing a piece of paper over her ear, said the accessory was done in solidarity with my president.

Trump, not the current thing that's in the administration.

The current thing, referring to President Biden as the current thing that's in the administration.

EO Unity coming out of the GOP these days.

Yes, Maxi Pads on their ear.

I'm pretty sure you said something that, oh my god, everyone's going to be wearing this thing now.

And at least some people are.

Sometimes I am Crescan.

My predictions come true.

Sometimes they do.

So the other reported to the bandage ear wearing stuff, the hyperbole of Eric Trump.

Raw story reporting Sergey Burris, the journalist.

This is perhaps not the most important story coming out of Milwaukee.

But it's one that caught my attention.

Eric Trump is now changing a story about the injury as father suffered in an assassination attempt.

Apparently being a congenital liar.

It's a redditary dump.

Although it could still be socialized.

Although I wonder how much time Trump actually spent around son Eric.

I mean, we all know it wasn't one.

Speaking to Forbes at the Republican National Convention Monday, Trump's son said,

well, it's really a pretty shomber mood, right?

I mean, my father got shot at.

Somebody took off half his ear.

I'm doing that with my teeth.

He's drawing up like Eric does.

Posting on social media Saturday night, the elder Trump said,

a bullet head pierced the other upper part of his ear, pierced it down,

even wrapped Ronnie Jackson.

Dr. Feelgood, the Republican from Texas.

I guess he's Congressman now.

I saw him with Charlie Kirk the other day.

Oh, really?

I did.

He mentioned, you know, three quarters of an inch and Trump would be dead.

Well, that seems to be the case.

Even Ronnie Jackson, who served as Trump's White House doctor,

told the New York Times that the bullet took a little bit off the top of the ear

in an area that just by nature leads like crazy.

Thus far, no medical reports have been released of a Trump century.

But now to Wednesday interview with CBS Mornings,

Eric Trump downplayed the wound.

Apparently, a flippy floppy down in the new interview.

Eric Trump said it wasn't bad enough to warrant stitches,

but there was a nice fleshboard.

A nice fleshboard.

And that his descriptor.

Huh.

The greatest earache he ever had, Eric recalled his father saying,

you know, he has millowhears away from having his life expunished.

I sure the ear doesn't feel while he continued.

I'm sure it doesn't.

You know, tonight's JD Vance is a big speaking role.

And I wonder which ones of the Trump family members are actually going to have speaking roles here

at the Big R&C convention in Milwaukee this year or time.

I'm not sure if Belani is going to take an opportunity this year to even show up in Milwaukee.

It's a horrible city.

It is a wonderful city.

We love it here.

You could join us 844-967-2789.

I would imagine you know how the show is with Donald Trump.

Everyone's wondering, where's Melania?

Where's Ivanka?

Well, he'll roll them out presumably.

But by the end, by Thursday, we'll make a big spectacle.

The whole thing is just like reading negotiate and the freedom again.

You know who else is going to be at the big event tonight?

Fresh out of release from federal presidents.

Peter Navarro.

He's going to be what?

All tatted up and ripped.

That prison body.

Peter Navarro apparently has a speaking role.

Dom is his mug shot on the shirt of mug shot.

No, no.

My mug shot.

Where's the R&C this year?

This is one of my favorites.

You're wearing a suit, man.

I don't have like, I have a suit, but I want to wear a suit.

I have one suit.

I was going to wear a suit tomorrow.

Different suit.

I have two suits as he brought down to Milwaukee.

But this fine shirt from Lansky Brothers in Memphis, Tennessee,

has a bunch of rock stars.

Mug, you know, mug shots all over him.

Ozzy Osborne, Debbie Harry, Snoop Dogg, for example.

And I thought, you know, given that this is the R&C in MKE

and there's a lot of, I don't know, convicted criminals.

You know, this would be a nice one to wear around.

It's got a collar.

When you say convicted criminals, some of them,

some of them have cases out on appeal right now.

Some of them are on probation.

Some are seeking immunity.

And some of them receive presidential pardons.

I mean, come on.

But not many this time around.

Peter Navarro, right?

So he did his four months.

Four months.

Steve Bannon's in prison right now.

He's going to miss the speech of fire.

Not only is he going to miss the speech of firing,

he's going to miss the election.

He gets out after the election.

Apparently his daughter has been relaying news from prison

for Steve Bannon.

Well, he's sneaking a cell phone for him.

Oh, but two, two embrace.

And this is what?

Or for Chris.

You know, he's still kind of monstrous right now.

It probably lost his slippers too.

Navarro did this time for contempt of Congress.

He didn't, didn't cooperate with the J6 committee.

And so he finally ended up, you know, paying a price for that.

The same price that Bannon is in pain right now,

as it should be.

If you and I were to engage in this very same behavior,

I would imagine there would be some consequences to it.

That's how it goes.

If we were contemptuous of Congress

and claimed executive immunity,

even though no such thing had been claimed by the president,

even you think there would be consequences?

I absolutely do.

And this should be.

Everyone should want that.

This should be a consequence for the refusal

of to cooperate with an investigation.

And four months.

I don't remember that when the cops come looking for you.

Four months.

Four months.

But the embrace, the way that they just bring him back

into the fall, the way they embrace his criminality,

this contempt, contemptuous behavior.

He kept his mouth shut.

He's a good fellow.

He's like Henry Hill and good fellows, man.

But that's not how it's supposed to be, man.

That's not how a political party.

This is a political party of law and order, quote unquote.

They're trying to claim that, man.

So they certainly do.

But again, see what they say.

And look at what they do.

Those are entirely different things.

So be at this particular situation

with the criminal Navarro or contemptuous,

Navarro coming what straight out of the pen

to the MKE to deliver a speech tonight, what, 6-6-30.

Unfortunately, we'll be outside of our window.

But I'm really anxious to hear what this guy has to say.

Navarro.

We could try to be in the room for that time.

We may be.

We might be.

We're going because you have not yet seen the inside

of Pfizer forum since the RNC has begun.

And I spent my 15 minutes walking around on the floor

and looking around and snapped a few selfies.

This one does in this modern age of mainstream mediaism.

And, you know, seen?

Been there, done there.

So you can use the pass.

I'll just hang out in the lobby.

Yeah, I got to go do a lap.

I'll go.

You know, air quotes celebrity sighting.

Yes.

Yes.

Well, look for a smile.

Good a smile.

Good a feel.

Say that we did it because they're here.

Some of the local reporting on the business impact.

Mixed at best.

Mixed at best.

Buddy, where are the only ones in this town

spending any money?

Drake get anything.

Well, if you're, if you're, you know,

you should have seen our company.

You should have seen our company last year.

Right. Well done.

It was grand day.

Good job, everybody.

You know, certainly those bars and restaurants

near the Pfizer forum doing fine.

But you step out a few blocks.

It's, it's, it's not, not as fine.

You know, there's a business being lost.

Lots of the local folks staying home,

working remotely, wherever the case is.

So, you know, a lot of your, you know,

your sandwich providers, the folks at all the business people

coming out for the lunch.

They're not, that's not there.

There has been some trickle of, of R&C folks.

But they got a lot of work to do.

They got a lot of work to do.

They got a lot of making up to do.

It's only a couple of days left.

You know, the interesting parts.

So many of these delegates are not even staying in Milwaukee.

I spoke to Alberto from Texas.

He's been bust over from Madison every day.

He said, oh, Wisconsin's got beautiful landscape.

I'm like, well, you got to see a lot of it.

If this is your morning commute,

now I had the same morning commute.

But I am staying over.

Right, man, you got a food time.

A food time for you.

Food time for you.

Folks, we are at the Devil's Afkits.

We are live in Milwaukee.

We're part of the, what would you say?

The skyline here tonight.

Damn, we're looking down on the R&C.

And you can be a part eight for four, nine, six, seven, two, seven, eight, nine.

We got big guests.

We'll tell you all about them.

Stick around.

More Devil's Afkits.

Live in Milwaukee.

Thank you, no politics.

Thank again.

Welcome to the Devil's Advocates.

And we are back from the 420 break.

Thank you for listening to the Devil's Advocates.

The Devil's Advocates radio show you can join us on the lines anytime.

Talk more text, eight, four, four, nine, six, seven, two, seven, eight, nine.

And time we should announce we got some big guests joining us on this fine program.

We've got Bill Price, our friend.

He's a podcaster.

He's a pundit.

You see it most often on CNN.

You find his columns at the hill.

Bill joining us five o'clock central time.

A happier, happier hour indeed with Bill.

And also former congressman Reed Ribble.

It's been nearly a decade since Reed joined us on the air dime.

We're going to talk about the evolution of the Republican party.

Reed was like one of the elder statesmen.

One of the Republican congresspeople from the state of Wisconsin.

It was him, OV, and Pete tried.

And they're all gone.

And now we got Tom Tiffany and growth men.

Evolution or devolution?

Is that a word?

Well, we will ask former congressman Reed Ribble today at 530.

He joins us in tomorrow night.

Expecting a big show tomorrow as well.

We've got former Republican governor of the great state of Wisconsin.

Scott, not the wanker Scott McCallum.

Scott McCallum joins us tomorrow about 20 central time.

And also we're expecting Rick Smith, our friend.

He is a broadcaster, but he's also a teamster.

And the teamster chief gave a speech at the RNC this week.

And it's got the entire teamster organization divided, let's just say.

So Rick Smith joins us tomorrow.

Again, you can join us at any time.

844-967-2789.

It's a phone number.

It's a tax line.

Tom, I think we should go to the phone and let people join the party.

Let's do it.

844-967-2789.

Dick from Matt Town.

Happy day, Dick.

Welcome.

What do you got for us?

Hey, Dick.

Hey, guys.

Peter Navarro.

I think he's out just in time.

NFL KFs are opening.

He's probably going to drop a new green-based suite.

Another one.

The last one works so well.

Yeah.

Have I talked to you guys anything about some of the encounters I had on the 4th of July?

And right after.

Please do.

One of them was it.

Okay.

On the 4th of July, I took the car down to Manona to the car show and

encountered a guy there.

Got to take the car to the car show, man.

Yeah, yeah.

Anyway, he's wearing a t-shirt that said,

I wish Hillary Clinton would have married OJ Simpson.

Wow.

So, I didn't tell you this, evidently.

Anyway, him and I did exchange pleasantries at a point.

I kept looking at him and then he, you know,

looked at me and then finally he felt the uncomfortable stare.

Well, he asked me if I had a problem with his t-shirt and I said,

yeah, I do.

But I said, further than that, I said,

he's about my age I could tell.

And I said, I can certainly tell that you're lucky that abortion was illegal

when you were born because your mother would have certainly had one.

Damn.

Be it all harsh and stuff, Dick.

Yes, I was.

Are you trying to be, are you trying to be the CJ of the laughter of what, Dick?

Yeah, I am.

And since then, not two miles from my house,

there is a guy that has all these Trump posters on his doors and all over

and homemade signs that say,

prepare for violence, ammo up.

And I've got video that that I'll send you guys.

That doesn't seem like turning down the temperature.

Does it?

No, it really doesn't.

Does it?

Now, is this something newer?

Is this something you've seen before from this same household?

Oh, no.

This is a little bit out of my way.

Obviously, on the way home.

It's on the east side off.

Cottage Grove Road.

I won't go any further than that.

But is that the Alito summer cottage?

And the flags upside down?

But I will say this after this past weekend,

the homemade signs that said ammo up and prepare for violence were pulled back

close to the house.

They weren't out and stuck in the ground anymore.

No, I think he needs.

Oh, thanks.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Sorry about that.

Thanks for the comment.

844-967-2789.

That sort of thing should always be discouraged.

But when you wear provocative things like that and stand by,

I mean, people you're looking for a reaction, isn't that the point?

Well, we know that right wing talk radio,

when the Kenosha column, the Kenosha riots were happening,

right wing talk radio specifically,

when the Kenosha girl, Vicki McKenna,

was calling for people to go get their arms

and come stand with written house.

So, you know, it's not just a couple of cranky neighbors get off my lawn

or I'm ammoing up.

I mean, this is a sentiment shared by the media infrastructure

that is the right.

Shared, promoted, encouraged.

I can't believe that they're able to do that on the FCC-regulated airwaves

yet they won't let us swear.

844-967-2789.

Pat from Eastside Milwaukee.

Welcome, Pat. What do you got for us?

Hey, Pat.

Oh, hi.

I have a couple things to tell you.

We've got you, uh, uh,

Bannon and Navarro,

the circumstances at the moment.

I've been, I'm a familiar,

I'm familiar with federal lockups,

uh, as a former private investigator,

interviewing people inside.

Uh, they're probably doing pretty easy time.

There's a reason why some of those places are called club fed.

Um, so I would, and, and besides that,

Bannon looks like he's a public handle himself,

whereas Navarro was kind of a wind, I'm sure.

But, uh, anyway,

besides that,

regarding JD Vance,

I read his little screen.

It was mostly nonsense,

but the title Hillbilly,

it should be reissued.

As a new book.

Title Hillbilly elevated.

To, uh, you know,

because he truly is.

Uh, he wants to own Hillbilly fine.

You can have it.

You can have it.

And, uh, he also the perfect Trump sidekick.

He's short.

Uh, he's not, he's ugly.

Uh, and he's,

he's kind of me media savvy or media slippery,

just like Mike Pence.

So it's no surprise.

Um, anyway, that's my, uh,

it's my contribution today.

All right.

Thank you.

Appreciate it.

Appreciate that pad 844-967-2789.

I hadn't compared or thought about, you know,

the, uh, the physical attributes and look at how does,

does, you know,

each of these candidates.

It's a fundamental cast.

He's the perfect vice president.

But if you look at the,

very handsome,

that white hair and that square jaw and, you know,

he looks like a vice president.

This guy's got a beard.

I mean, I guess he lost some weight.

But, you know, do you think Trump actually, like,

put himself on some pictures next to each one of them

and then said,

well, this one,

I look great compared to this one.

I think it's more aspirational.

Trump would like to think he was a young handsome,

whipper, stamper like JD Vance.

Does he?

If he just had the rest of his life like Vance

to the head of him,

why he could be a dictator for that?

Not just for D1,

but for life.

Come back.

We are the devil's advocates.

Live in Milwaukee.

The occasion.

R&C MKE 2024.

More Devils.

The devil's advocates.

Tackling the issues you're not allowed to talk about

at the dinner table.

Welcome back to the Devils.

Advocates radio show.

Live in Milwaukee.

The event.

The R&C MKE 2024.

We are rooftop.

And we are within the vision of many, many snipers.

And low-flying helicopters.

They're buzzing us here on the rooftop time.

Don't you know where the greatest radio show ever?

We are the VIPs.

We are the VIPs.

I got caught in some of the traffic today.

The motorcycle cops clearing the ways for the VIPs that were not me.

So I had to scoot around town.

But actually pretty easy to get around town in Milwaukee.

If you're not directly at the fight,

or form in the adjacent blocks in the zone.

In fact, some of the businesses down here could use some of your love.

So come downtown and hang out.

Yeah, Crudy and Dom can't be the only ones running the bar tab in Milwaukee this weekend.

We know you're there.

Colors will get to you in just a moment.

844-967-2789.

But Dom.

Sick of fans on parade.

All of the losers from the presidential primary all wouldn't kiss

Trump's ass last night from the stage.

And I understand he was there in person to lap it up to lap it all up.

Now, obviously this happens in political parties.

Same thing happened with Joe Biden, right?

I mean Bernie Sanders.

I mean, everyone comes around eventually.

Is it different?

I perceive it to be different because I don't believe Donald Trump was a normal candidate

nor that the GOP as it stands today is a normal party.

I think it's something beyond that.

I think it's very fascistic, very authoritarianism.

It's a cult of personality of Donald Trump.

So while I get it that even in difficult primaries, emotions can run high.

But ultimately once somebody wins,

and you want to galvanize around that person to go and defeat the other political party,

well, it's not uncommon certainly for folks to get in line.

Unless you think the candidate that you've been defeated by in the case of let's say Nikki Haley.

Unless you think that guy is unfit to serve.

As you said, when you got out of the race and you did not toss your support behind the man

or offer him your delegates.

Now what, two months later?

Life changed that much and Nikki Haley's world.

Oh, or she wants another job in the Trump administration.

This is I mean, it's the same thing he got out of the race at 0.0 in 2016.

So another conservative voice could rise up in a crowded field and defeat Donald Trump.

Yeah, but Scott Walker is not even college educated.

He has very limited potential outside of being a political used to be.

I mean, that's his only claim to fame.

Other people have higher degrees and resumes.

Scott Walker was the wanker, man.

He's stuck in that role.

That's all he's qualified to do.

He's got nowhere else to go.

We did we do have some sound rich want to get you prepared for this.

Nikki Haley's one of the sick offense to come around.

And as I get your point, man, when someone's so emphatic about how someone.

That they're rival other political rival, even within the same party is not fit to serve.

Shouldn't they be forced to answer the question?

What happened from the moment you said that Donald Trump was not fit to serve to the moment you endorsed him,

gave him your delegates and said your speech last night.

Shouldn't you have to address that either you were wrong or lying then or you're wrong and lying now?

Well, it'd be very difficult because they're all wrong and lying now.

JD fans, Nikki Haley, Rhonda Santos, they all hated that guy.

And now they're kissing his ass and giving a speech and bowing to him.

And, you know, quite frankly, if I hate your ass, I'm not getting out of the stage endorsing you.

I mean, ever, ever, ever.

If Scott Walker won the lottery and became, you know, a billionaire and he wanted to start a career.

I'd rather be broke. You know what I'm saying? You wouldn't do it.

You wouldn't. I would not cast those chefs. You would not support Scott Walker under any circumstance.

You know, I'm pickheaded and obstinate man. No.

I would even work for a normal boss. Certainly not the winker.

Uh, Nikki Haley says you don't have to agree with Trump.

If you would please, Rich, let's play cut number six.

My message to them is simple.

You don't have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him.

See? That's all you need.

What percentage do you agree with Trump?

Uh, that's another great follow-up question.

Not a lot of questions going on during the speech of fine.

Let's keep going.

Nikki Haley, cut number seven, please, Rich.

For the sake of our nation, we have to go with Donald Trump.

Do we? Do we? Do we?

Well, you know, endorsements don't matter unless you strongly endorse them.

And that's what she did.

Let's hear a cut number eight.

I'll start by making one thing perfectly clear.

Donald Trump has my strong endorsement period.

I strongly endorse Trump.

I strenuously object. Strong endorsement.

Now, Chris Christie, who was the only candidate who ran

who was not getting a speaking part at the RNC, right?

I mean, even Nikki Haley was the late addition.

Just put her on the sick of fan, ask his or list.

But what about Chris Christie?

He didn't like what Haley did.

Cut number nine, Rich.

It was a complete, uh, uncredible flip-flop,

uh, from what she's done.

Flip-flop, flip-flop.

I don't think any Haley voters are going to care.

I mean, come on, man. It was a triple Lindy.

That's what that was.

So do the Haley voters.

I'm going to say she has now given her strong endorsement

of Donald Trump.

Do those Republicans who voted for Nikki Haley,

who thought there's somebody else.

God, please anybody else, other than Trump.

You know, what you think?

What percentage do you think I actually roll over

and follow, quote, unquote, her lead or just stay home?

What do you think that voting was going to do?

You know, it's hard to tell, man,

because she rolled over and played that.

Don't they all eventually?

I mean, don't they all come home for Trump?

If your leader does it, do you?

That's a person you voted for.

I mean, I would think there's some principal folks out there

like, nope, nope, nope, nope.

I would just fund her.

Can't you get a job in the private sector?

I mean, you're the former UN ambassador.

You can't just go cash checks.

Must you sell your soul?

Uh, Ron?

Apparently she does.

Ron DeSantis.

Oh, selling souls.

He's the wanker of the 2024.

Uh, he was alarmed by Biden.

Let's play a little Ron.

Please, Rich, cut number 10.

I am alarmed that the current president of the United States

lacks the capability to discharge the duties of his office.

Our enemies do not confine their designs to between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

You know, Ron DeSantis, it's always struck me,

he has resting little bitch face.

Always.

Yeah.

He's such a white-

This is a silly little man.

Oh, he's always whiny.

It's like his temperament is whiny.

Let's hear one more wine, sending Trump back, cut number 11, Rich.

My fellow Republican,

let's send Joe Biden back to his basement,

and let's send Donald Trump back to the White House.

It was my understanding that DeSantis

is the also clever line.

We've had an administration of weak-ended Bernie's time to make it end.

Something of that sort.

And I always giggle a little when I hear you and your ilk.

I would vote for dead Bernie.

Well, that Joe Biden,

even if he was being cropped up like a weak-ended Bernie's.

And I have said, I don't share that.

But you wouldn't, who would you vote for?

I'd vote for the real Bernie before I voted for dead-ass Joe Biden.

That's not the choice.

The choice is weak-ended Bernie's or Donald Trump.

Maybe I'm conscientiously objecting like Adam Schiff,

congressman from the state of California.

Apparently, perhaps opportunistically,

upstaging the RNC a little bit today that news hit the wires.

Why do you tell everyone on the Wednesday of the RNC

that Joe Biden's going to drop out?

I mean, Joe Biden said sort of a quiet week he had the interview Monday

with Lester Holtz and, you know,

other than the fact that some don't think that Lester Holtz asked a question

setting any context sort of made it false equivalency between the rhetoric of Trump

and the rhetoric of Joe Biden.

But other than that, I mean, Joe's had a quiet week.

And I think we were kind of happy with Joe's quiet week.

And now Adam Schiff's out there jumping out saying Joe should go.

According to the Washington Post,

Schiff called Biden, quote,

one of the most consequential presidents in our nation's history,

but questioned his ability to defeat former President Donald Trump

and said that a second Trump presidency will undermine

the very foundation of our democracy.

While the choice to withdraw from the campaign is President Biden's alone,

I believe it is time for him to pass the torch.

Schiff joins 22 other congressional Democrats in calling for Biden's exit

after the debate, according to a Washington Post tally.

And he's the first to do so publicly since the shooter attempted to assassinate Trump.

We know the story there. So Adam Schiff,

in a statement, Schiff vowed to support whomever the nominee is,

even if that still ends up being Biden.

There's only one singular goal defeating Donald Trump.

The stakes are just too high.

So is it, do you do you agree with Schiff?

What's your position?

I know our buddy.

Pretty much.

Absolutely right.

Matt Flint said, such a face and just go vote for Biden.

But you know, you endorse.

You think Schiff's doing the right thing and perhaps others will fall.

I think the only quam I would take with Schiff is this is the week

to put the focus on Project 25,

which is starting to creep into the American populace's awareness.

This is the terrible plan of the Heritage Foundation,

a lot of ex-Trump administration people.

And basically is the blueprint for Trump to follow

in the first 180 days of his presidency.

That's where the focus should be this week,

the God awful Donald Trump,

the God awful pick of JD Vance for the vice presidency,

each and every one of these Republicans to take the stage,

be it Eric Hudvey from the state of Wisconsin,

given a God awful speech,

or be it Ron Johnson showing his true colors,

that of course he's always been a divider.

He's always taken this attitude towards the left.

So I would say let the Republicans true colors shine through this week

and save that for like Friday.

If you're going to say it, say it on like Friday.

You know, don't go and try to steal the thunder of the RNC

because I think it's important that the American people

also see what these Republicans stand for

and be it Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis or JD Vance.

They're all ask his and sick of Vance

and we should shine a light on that this week.

Sorry Adam Schiff,

otherwise I agree with you.

Eight four four nine six seven two seven eight nine

Paul from Monona.

You are up.

Welcome Paul.

What do you got for us Paul?

Hey, so I just want to say I cannot believe

how badly timed Adam Schiff's remark was.

I thought that just that was not great.

That is not the right time for that.

But I mean, when you throw in all the stuff

that the Republicans are doing

with blocking to Trump side again,

I mean,

I it hit harder because I thought we could be better.

You know, but I did want to really express some gratitude to you guys.

Thank you for hanging out with Republicans

so we don't have to.

And the other thing is to do that.

The other thing is to Dick from Madison.

I didn't know he came to the car show because I run it.

Oh, no way dude.

I mean, the guy practically lives in his garage.

Yeah, I run the car show and I did see the guy with the O.J.

Hillary O.J. shirt.

And I thought what a card.

And then there was another guy though right around on a bike

with a blue shirt that said lock him up.

So I feel like, you know,

there was a little pull on both sides.

But all in all, you know,

this is a really hard time to kind of see people

at each other's strokes like that.

You know, the interest.

Paul, I was driving in the other day.

And I saw a woman with a Trump sticker on the back of her car and said,

I'm voting for the felon.

And I cannot imagine ever putting that on my car like,

yeah, put me down in the felon support of column.

You know, yeah, because I don't like bumper stickers, but.

Yeah, no, I just can't imagine why people think that,

oh, yeah, I'm going to throw my, you know, had him.

Anyway, but thanks for doing what you do guys have a good rest of your week

that they're in, you know, with them each.

With the non-car show people.

You know, my wife loves car shows.

I didn't even know they had what I, of course, they have them damn near every community

and them Wisconsin and America.

But I'll have to come check the one out in Manona that Paul runs

and that apparently goes to when the wife lets him out of the garage.

Folks, we are the Devils Advocate's live from Milwaukee,

special coverage of the RNC and the MKE2024.

Gonna come back with some more of your phone calls.

844-967-2789.

Our pal, Bill Press.

He's a podcaster.

He's a prognosticator.

He's a pundit.

He's a friend of ours.

He's going to join us in the happier, happy hour at five o'clock.

Read Ribble, a Republican former congressman from the great state of Wisconsin.

He's going to join us at five thirty as well.

So, if you want a piece, do it now.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

844-967-2789.

Warning.

Listening to the Devils Advocates may expose you to opposing views.

Welcome back to the Devils Advocates radio show.

I'm going to go back to the lines.

It's a talk or text.

844-967-2789.

Don't go anywhere.

Bill Press coming up after the five o'clock break.

I got to admit all these helicopters and captains down to Milwaukee.

Harsh to my buzz a little bit.

I've been checking the tax lines.

844-967-2789.

It's a phone nine.

It's a tax line.

A couple of the thoughtful messages and along WMDX

Taxter says they're bowing down to King Code Tax.

Terrible.

If you're unaware, a lot of delegates apparently are wearing

bandages or maxi pads on their ears.

A little piece of the paper.

Solidarity because Trump did it.

This taxter says that JD Vance is the third brother.

Well, technically there are three Trump sons.

Beavis, Budhead, and Barron.

So JD Vance would be the fourth Trump brother.

Jaffa, trash, taxed and lawyer, buddy.

We saw him at the bar last night in Charlwood.

Hey, boys.

It was nice to see you yesterday.

Coody, thanks for the drinks and the ground.

Please laugh with me on the success of Greater in Milwaukee this week.

That's a very good question.

Jaffa tried to share that earlier.

We were well aware in Cleveland.

That was a story being reported there.

And we've been predictive.

The gay hookers in this town.

Oh, they're doing gangbusters business.

Everybody else?

Not so much.

Not so much.

Someone complaining about the.

The introduction.

Saying about our airwaves and corporate licensees.

I'm like, take that up with the announcer guy.

There are some putting speculation out there.

I'm not going to read aloud.

As Cheech and Chong would say,

earache my eye.

844-967-2789.

Another guy who showed up at the party at Campali last night.

Want to send some love out to Paco on the staff over there.

Thank you for taking care of us last two days.

Our conservative buddy, CJ.

He came around with his men.

A hat walked in.

Everyone's side eyed.

The record scratched.

So let's get to it.

CJ.

Welcome.

Thanks for coming out last night, man.

How you doing?

We said it was bipartisan tacos in tequila.

And sure enough, there was CJ.

Hello, CJ.

There you go.

Hey, man.

Hi, guys.

I didn't have any of that.

But what a show.

You know, and I love the fact that you guys.

Love and trust.

Love and trust.

Love and trust.

The fact that you guys.

Love and trust.

Lying.

Adam shifts so much.

The censored one, right?

For lying to America for two and a half years.

That's who you're trusting.

Yeah, but that was a ridiculous censure from a Republican

controlled Congress trying to cover for their.

Felonious candidate, dude.

Come on.

Yeah, we don't we don't put a whole lot of stock into that.

CJ, did you did you make it into the RNC last night?

Yeah, I did.

I got a whole bunch of pictures.

We've been a governor for South Carolina.

Mark Robinson.

A hero of mine.

Love the man.

Brian Donaldson.

I spoke to.

Our.

Our future.

Senator.

Eric.

What a class.

He is.

Yeah.

So how about you ask him how he's enjoying his trip to Wisconsin?

Yeah, well, you know what?

You guys would know all about that bringing outside money into Wisconsin,

like nobody's business.

You know all about that.

How would I know about that, man?

If there's some outside money coming into Wisconsin,

it's not being spent by this crew.

CJ of the.

Spending our own money on those bar tabs, CJ.

CJ, let me ask you of the speakers last night was.

Did you get to see some of the speeches here, them?

And if you did, who was your, who was your favorite?

Who put a tingle up your life?

Yeah.

Who's most compelling to you from the speakers last night, CJ?

There were spectacular speakers.

Sarah.

Which one?

To be Sanders was spectacular.

The woman that left her son.

Who was in Afghanistan and came back and was killed on the street of New York.

That woman was powerful.

She's had her eyes open.

She's an African American black woman that is just a spectacular lady.

I got a chance to meet her.

It was a wonderful thing.

You know who else?

I got a chance to meet and put me on Charlie Kirk.

What an amazing man that is right there.

I'm gonna stop you right there.

Thank you.

CJ.

Great to see you last night.

He is the get out the youth vote mechanism turning point USA.

Charlie Kirk is like a 20.

Maybe 30, but this guy looks like a 22-year-old college sophomore.

And he really didn't strike me as imposing whatsoever.

I also had the opportunity to be Charlie Kirk briefly by his set.

And I'm telling you, man, if this is the best they have to offer,

I don't think they're gonna get it done.

And they've made a huge investment in this near-do well.

I just don't see him as substantive.

844-967-2789.

Let's get Larry from Belmont.

You will have the last word this summer.

Larry, welcome.

What do you got for us?

Hey, Larry.

Yeah.

I heard him guys talk about those car shows.

I go to the car shows also.

And I hold the car show in a small town in rural Wisconsin.

And I found out that the best thing I can do to enjoy my day

is to enjoy those car shows.

It's not to even mention politics.

Yeah, right.

Just to enjoy the cars, right?

Well, I do, but it's like they get so extremely more...

I just, they get bizarre.

It's like they get crazy sometimes on some of these points.

It's just like, I'm a talk show junkie.

This first time I've heard you guys on the radio.

And like I'm listening to you guys, I consider both points.

And I respect your point.

And if I got that point, you can, you can spread mine

which I'm sure because you've been doing it on the radio.

But these guys don't respect the other person's point.

But they just get, it's going blessed.

It gets crazy.

Yeah, that's why they call it civil discourse.

And that's something we should certainly strive to do.

And especially if we could be a little self-deprecating,

make it fun of them, make it fun of us.

That's the best way to do it.

We got to find gas coming up next.

He is Bill Press and then former Republican Congressmen

Reed Ribble, finest, greatest radio show ever.

You're listening right now.
