There's an army that comes up here once every year.

They come to the Northwoods to go hunting for deer.

They come by the railroad, by car or by truck,

open and prayin' to get a big bug.

Now it's a sight that's worth seeing and it's darn hard to be.

It's like a circus parade comin' down the main street.

They sometimes get lost and sometimes get misled.

These gay-hearted hunters, these guys dressed in red.

Now you can find them all over and you don't have to look far

in the stores or cafes or drinking at the bar.

Their talk is of hunting before going to bed.

Now in the season is open to the timber they go.

All open and prayin' for a light fall of snow.

For it makes good trekking and it may bring them luck to go home.

Successful with a very nice bug.

But we all can't be lucky.

For this we all know regardless of the weather.

It looks mostly cloudy for Thanksgiving day, high in the mid-20s with the gusty breeze,

because they don't know that Big G with stubble is like hell freezing over.

So we've got to celebrate a little bit, because this is the most beard I've seen on Big G in like a year.

It's not quite no shave November, but he is solidarity with those of you in the cold deer stands,

not to say anything about buddy heaters and what electric vests that you can get now,

that you can get a better sports shop, right?

But, you know, I don't, I'm kind of old-school.

I don't even own a pair of long underwear to tell you the truth.

He got his first spiked buck on opening morning. We got a call in for that just today.
