Community Voice · Fri Oct 23, 2026

Good morning. Welcome to Community Voice. I'm your host Keith Parris. I want to thank everybody for joining us on today, Friday, October 23rd. First day of the World's Serious. Let's go forward.

I thought Rasmussen will start tonight, but Martinez is starting tonight. Oh, really? Yeah. They said it might be a bullpen. So we'll see. What up, DJ? Good morning. What's up, Clark? Who you with? Hey, Clark, is that all legit brewer gear over there, man? That's all.

If you wearing it, it's

Oh, you got to be on it. The Roors. The Roors. She said the letters be falling off her shirt. No, you can spell it like a salve. Falling off the bone. You can spell it like a salve. Are you? He got a, uh, he got a hoodie, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a witty, a

along with the chillin' loaf. You gotta put aspirin in the water. Somebody put on Facebook, they had some, looked like pork and beans and they cut up some wieners. Yeah, pork and beans. They said, they said, what do you call this? I said, something I don't recognize. Pork and beans and wieners. You know, we was high on the hog, no pun intended. But we had those, had the actual hot dogs in the pork and beans. Yeah. Yeah, man. They say anything.

I don't care what nobody say. That's still amazing poor man dinner. Yes. Get you some pork and beans and fry you some wieners or polish and chop them things up. So when you fry them up, do you split them or do you? Oh, no, you chop them like little. Oh, you chop them up? Yeah, not. So you have more wieners? Yeah, you have more wieners. You have more wieners. It's still the same wiener. You ain't got no one else.

You gotta like like they always say you gotta you gotta Porsche you gotta ration it. You know I say you gotta ration But I don't I don't do hot dogs no more I just do brats Brats and spicy Polish. Yeah, I can't do no hot dog. I think hot dogs for little kids. Yeah, I graduated

Whenever my mama introduced me to a bra, I never went back. He said that one of the things about the Big Mac was the Big Mac was a writer passage.

you know, because when you went from like, you know, you get the first big bag, you know, like that's the pathway to the quarter pounder. Mm hmm. Hey, that I can't do no, but that that that that bacon and cheese quarter pounder.

I was like, man, let me just try this. And it's fresh. Oh, man, that quarter pound with cheese is good. Yeah. Yeah. Fresh. So, please, we have to touch and agree on that one. Call and welcome to the program. Hey, good morning.

Good morning, good morning. I'm still stuck on the phrases that black people say. What you got? I got one, and I was thinking about it, but you tell me, I got a question. Well, the statement is, well, my mama used to sit, and then you drunk it and threw it around, right?

He was probably drinking moonshine. He wouldn't just drunk off no beer. No, but you know what? Another saying that I don't think we said was I wish I would.

I wonder, I wonder what was the first instance when that happened? Like the very first person to say, I wish it was. I wonder who told him the story or her? It could have been her that said, but who told them that story that made that saying last? You know, I wish it was. That first story had to be epic because it lasts forever. That ain't never leaving. Well, I hope to, I hope to

Have a chance I hope to have a chance to talk with vice president former vice president Kamala Harris is gonna be here Monday And so I have her book a hundred seven days But then I'm gonna say could you put in this? Yes, so it's all good apostle. Yes, sir. Well, you know Bishop

The early bird get the worm, but the second mouse get the cheese. I just want it to be deep this thing. It's often time. Bill Cosby. OK, hold on. That's the dumbest thing. That was real profound. Bill Cosby. The early bird get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. That means that the first mouse OK, Shakira sunflower.

I wrote this for you. Yeah. The man who lays on the floor can never fall out of there. That should kill some power up in here. Okay, I found Brewer's shirt at Myers last night. At Myers? Yeah. Don't know how legitimate it is, but we'll rock it hard. Listen here, don't you snack that thing because if you pull the string,

everything coming loose. So your letters go fall off first. So what's the difference between Myer and Coase? Was it in the store? It's spelled with an L. If it was in the store legit, if it's on the parking lot. Yeah, if it's in the parking lot. You gotta work. Yeah. He said, what's the difference? It's spelled with an L. No. If it's in the parking lot, it's probably spelled with an L. We got a through the loom tag on it. Listen here. If you bought it out of a back of a van, man.

in the parking lot of Myers or any one of them, I guarantee you, before you get to the game, something gonna fall off your head. If your deal was seven for 15, it wasn't legit, all right? If it was seven for 15, it probably wouldn't legit, but we're still gonna rock with you. Seven for 15. All right, so let's, okay, call it. I guess I have some hate.

go all the way up to the program. Hello, thank you. Good morning. Where did you say that VP Harris would be there on Monday? So are we allowed to come stand outside the station for like a photo app or a book signing as well? She's gonna be where?

Did you say that she was going to be at your station on Monday? No, no, no, no, no, no. Boy, it's going to be outside. He's going to be crammed. Hey, look through the window. Remember people thought Jesse Jackson was coming at the church? No, no, no. I'm sure. No, I'm kidding. No, she's at a different event. Oh, so you're not interviewing her? No. OK.

Um, oh, well, okay. Happy birthday, Ms. Rhonda Parris. Happy birthday. I just love to be able to hear her. Well, you know, there may be... Is this Mr. Parris? Well, I mean, since you are who you are, then maybe your management team can reach out to her team and maybe that we can get her to come in. I mean, you interviewed her before. Yeah, you know, to you who you are, too. I think that's... Why? Yeah, so, you know, three times a lady. Yeah, but... Stop calling me, man. But then Michelle will always let you know I interviewed the president.

No, she's vice president. She's the president for a minute. She interviewed Joe Biden. Mm hmm. All right, great Friday morning. Cut it up enough so you get some with every spoonful of the pork. That's it. That's it. That's it. I'm telling you, more on Weeders. No, that was good. Man, fire, bro. I forgot about that meal. Fire, man. Yeah, I forgot about that because like I said, I don't do it. I don't tell you. But no, and I'm not a real baked beans. Uh, but

dip that baked bean with the hot dog and you get that baked bean juice on that hot dog too. I'll get you some bread and swap up the juice with the bread. Man, you should make a juice sandwich. Make you a juice sandwich. That's a four beer. But you know, but the bread gonna make you full. But a good sauce and a good gravy.

You want to do some soccer? How you do it? At this side, you turn your hand. There's a way that you stop. You got to get in. My mother used to make sirloin steak. But what I like was because she put a little flour in there and creased some gravy. Dude, I'd make gravy sandwiches to them. So you know what I'm talking about? So listen, my mama used to yell at me.

And I still kind of hear a yelling at me now to this day because I used to eat a whole loaf by myself because it was a time that Audis had, you know, bread was like 25 cent or something like that, 30 cent. So we used to go get a whole bunch of loaves because it was like a thousand of us anyway. And Trump didn't last a thousand years. Listen, I mean, listen. That bread never goes there. Man, never. It stayed fresh. I don't know what they put in it.

I'm not lying, man. I used to eat the loaf by myself and she was coming in here. Boy, why is you eating all that bread? I can't help it. It's the pork and bean juice. You gotta get it. You know, the mustard juices go on. And I'm gonna tell you, man, you get hungry enough.

and then how creative you can be, man. A mayonnaise sandwich was good, man. And it was crazy. The mayonnaise is different from how it was back in the day. The mayonnaise, it was way better, man. It was even miracle with, even miracle with. See, this is an acknowledgement that you're getting older because you taste floods of changes.

No, it's a change. No, it don't taste the same. Oh, yeah, dude. Yeah, dude. I may be a ham and cheese and salmon spread sandwich last week. Yes, I did. Yes, I did. It really depends on the brand of salmon spread, too, man.

I don't care if it costs $21 in the store, how much was it in the parking lot? Now we've graduated to grow beef with baked beans. Oh, yeah! Hold on. Hold on. Yes, sir. And my cousin, he got his own food truck. And so my brother would go and get food from him and stuff.

And like I said, I don't do baked beans, but it came with the plate. And it was good, but I'm eating baked beans. Like I ain't never. You put that ground beef up in there. And with that, if you add a little brown sugar and maple, isn't that like tech?

I don't know what it's called. It's called great to myself. Now. Now, it's the only way I'm going to eat it. Yeah, man. Add a little taste of maple brown sugar and a little pinch of honey. So, what's what's what's the best? What's the best serve for your pancake? Maple syrup. No, I'm I like honey. I like honey. Maple syrup. What was the other

And then what's the one with the rabbit on it? Oh See I'm not a sweet eater. So I just love how maple syrup smell

Like my mom, she used to get the Johnsonville sausages with the maple syrup. Sometimes that would wake me up. That's the man. I'm like, oh, mama, I love you. I come down. Oh, mama, thank you. It's Tech Spect. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my goodness. Sundays, too. Sunday, yeah. Man. Wow, man. You scrub back memories. Waking up to that maple syrup smell? Oh, yeah.

So what was that? Johnsonville? Yeah. Johnsonville. Yeah. That just took me back to my childhood, man. Yeah. Okay. Alligator. Thank you. Alligator, sir. No, I thought- I had punk and pancakes. And your mama was racist, man.

Did you see the Saturday Night Live Skip when Angemima and Uncle Ben got fired? Yeah, that's hilarious. They fired Angemima and Uncle Ben. Speaking of that, it amazes me. See, these people know what they was on.

because it amazes me how that all stemmed from George Floyd. When that happened, they literally looked at history and denounced so many things just for them to turn around and get right back on that racist nonsense. So you said we're going to get Uncle Ben's rights again? Yeah, Uncle Ben coming back. No, what I'm saying is they knew what they were doing the whole time and they know what they do is wrong.

Well, I mean, they wanted to cool the whole temperature of the country at the particular time. But we talk about server. Yeah. So you identified that this was the revolution. We're talking about server. Not again, but server. So you identified that this depiction was racist.

and obviously other laws that was on the books and things that, yeah, we tell them off, sir. And they recognized that it was wrong just for them to turn around and then get right back to the racist nonsense that they've been on. That's why I don't get no passes, man. That is why I do not get no passes. That's why all I drink is chocolate milk, brothers. Stay true. Stay true. Stay true. Call them over to the program.

Good morning. You're in there. I want you to take us off speaker. Every, every day. I gotta fight. Every day. You know, he's just stuck in his way. He gonna do how he do it. He ain't the only one. That's that flip for all of you. You talk about your uncle being your glory.

Uh, you know, you know, you know, uh, what you call it, your ancient mama, Mrs. Butterworth. You ain't your mama. Yeah, because that wasn't my mama. That wasn't my mama on that butter. She was not on that bottle. Ms. Butterworth, Ms. Butterworth. She was black. Let me, let me say this to you. We, you can't blame the white folks or brother, uh, brother DJ.

We as black folk cried out. Get that off of there. See, the dignified black folk that really worked for them people. See, to remove your hitch, we ain't got but a little bit. We ain't got but a little bit of history. And you take a couple of bricks to craft, a couple of educated Negroes, or just some Negroes that work for white folk that can see this whole, this social movement. It boils back to that. Watch this right, right quick.

They started and this could have been by design. I don't know now. This is just my perspective. They started by taking down the Confederate soldiers all over the world. They should have never put the statues up. That's true. Okay fine. Okay, you know what? As soon as I open the door for somebody to come in there and destroy exactly my point, he doing it y'all. Let's look at him.

Now he let a, he let a buffoon call in and say all that kind of stuff. And then y'all laugh and joke and kick your heels up. They're on your back and rolling. The statue should have never been up. Okay. Hold on. Hold on, brother. Hold on, brother. There was a, there's some madness. There's a message to the madness. Once you get on, hold on. Brother, that's why you don't got no coins in your neighborhood right now. They're not giving you one of them coins. That's just, and it was two or three of them.

Come on. Get to the point. He's gonna let you finish. He's gonna let you finish. Come on me. Listen, man. Why you think we don't have any black men on money right now? Because Mr. Cratch in the 50s got smart and educated. And so why do this stuff got to help from the slave cabin to the penthouse or whatever it got on the back? Do you know how dangerous it is for you to justify

people not wanting to take down Confederate statues. Hold on, brother. Hold on, brother. It was to get your, it was to get people, not just say, not per se, you, but with that mindset. They said, we're going to get rid of all the racist stuff. And right when they were getting rid of, you know what they did? They swooped right in there and got changed your mom. They swooped right in there and got your glory off the back. And these were motivational. These were for culinary art stuff, for kids and even us.

We try to get easy bake-ups or go round the girls with the easy bake-ups. We would try to cook some Aries, whatever it was. It was a motivation that we could be, we could make our own pancakes. I think the issue goes back to the iconographic kind of images that were created where it was disparaging to black folks. And then also our... Hold on, brother. It was nothing like neither had tobacco.

Nigga had tobacco that was created right here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It wasn't that dramatic. It wasn't like the gold stuff. You know what I'm saying? It wasn't like gold stuff or gold dust cleaning powder. I don't know if you want to be defending white supremacy and white racism. Hold on, brother. Why do you move that? We told him to get that off his way. If you want to defend racism,

and white. Okay. Do you know a white folks here? Get paint your mom off the box. We'd be down there marching right now today. It was white folks, white folks. No. White folks on the blind. Big ones pushing and said, we want it all for there. This is your black pocket. And then at the same time, they come up with that. And see, here's part of the problem. Here's part of the problem. The products are so good. Like folks use it. Yeah.

I remember that time and a lot of black people was actually mad that they removed the names. You know, no, no, but people like me and you were mad because we could see the significance in history. I wasn't mad. I just thought that what I thought that it was.

And I just said this earlier, it was insignificant to the movement. Yes, that image and portrayal of black people of that time was racist. But I thought that there could have been more things, more influential done than worried about a syrup bottle. And also, just to go back to your earlier point, I do think that it

is important that we look at the Confederate flag in those statues, because if you remember, a lot of our schools are named after those Confederate soldiers and generals. And a lot of our people went to these schools. That, in my opinion, is a slap in the face to people that look like us and our grandmothers, you know, our grandfathers, our brothers, our sisters.

our mothers and our fathers and I do believe even our parks here in the city uh names were changed because people actually looked at the history and for the most part a lot of people already knew that the names of these parks and schools were the derivative of racist people and so the fact that at that time

That was the only time that it was a real movement to get a push. I just felt that, you know, more could have been done. And then the fact that when this was done right behind it, way more racist stuff came right after that. So they understood and recognized where these stuff came from and who these people were to remove it and then put in place other laws and things that.

You know, it's a judgment of our people. Appreciate you. You're listening to Community Voice. It's Free Flow Friday. We're joined in studio by Devon Jones, DJ to Prodigy, Clark Kent, and the Apostle himself. Brother Jermaine, ride out. God bless you. We're going to take a quick break. We'll be right back. All right, welcome back. And before we get into our hate,

This is not hate, but the latest edition of the Milwaukee Courier is out. And it also has who the endorsements are. So you get a chance to do that. So again, get a copy of the Milwaukee Courier. All right. We are in Haters Nation. Population. Nine.

We got a lot more than that. Did you want to go first or you? Depends on what you what you got. All right. What you mean what I got? I sent it to you. Oh, I got to read. You didn't say reading was part of it. What's wrong with him? All right. Well, I'll start. Okay. My first bit of hate is for the Philadelphia Eagles. All right. Now, over this past weekend,

We had a very weird situation with their quarterback Jalen Hertz. They played overseas. I believe it was, could have been in London. And so he's had what has been discovered as these blood clots. Now, originally, they stated that the blood clots

was so crazy that he had to switch up his sleep, his sleep regimen. Whenever they travel, obviously, you got jet lag, things of that nature. And so the blood class was discovered, I believe, in his legs. And so they say, hey, it's too dangerous for you.

to sleep. So he had to stay up. They say he has to stay up some 36 hours or whatever. But then they came back and said that he's still able to play. Obviously, he didn't play because later on it came out that, you know, he had to miss the game due to blood clots.

at first they said that, you know, he was it was reported. I'll say that it was reported that he was not going to be placed on IR. Just for literal hours later, he's not just on IR. He's out for the season. My hate comes in. How is it that he was

not healthy enough to be determined to go to sleep. But they deemed it healthy enough for him to play. That makes no sense for me. Now, obviously he didn't play and he was out for that day. But that came late. So how many second opinions did they get?

This goes to one of my biggest points is that you know These organizations and these franchises they are for themselves if I tell Keith It's not healthy enough for him to sleep But then say oh, yeah, but you could get around and you could you could still play I don't have his best interest at heart and nine times out of ten

whenever we talk about sacrifice, we always talk about these players having to sacrifice for these billion dollar companies. And I just do not agree with that because when do these billionaires sacrifice for these players that actually be putting their lives on the line? You know, they put their lives on the line. We've seen traumatic things happen on the field. And this

goes way beyond the sport. This was his livelihood. We don't know what else is to come with Jalen Hurts. But it's more investigation has to be done when we going into this Philadelphia Eagles and Jalen Hurts situation. So that's my first bit of hate. You got anything on that? I thought so. All right. The next one, because don't start with me today. All right.

The next one is old fighters. I thought it said free flow. I'm on a roll right now. The next one is old fighters attempting to fight young pros in their pride. Nothing new. Amen. Nothing new. I said it with Mike Tyson. I'm gonna say it with Floyd Mayweather. First of all, they could get seriously hurt.

in the ring, in their prime, when they're young, you know, and well and healthy. Now that they're older, things slow down. Your hand-eye coordination, slow down. All right? Your ability to slip punches, you know, and dip and block slows down. Your ability to even throw a punch slows down. And that's just unboxing, just in life.

You know, a lot of people got to wear glasses when they get older. A lot of people got to be able to get hip replacements and knee replacements. This stuff should be banned. Once you hit a certain age, you should not be allowed to fight professionally. And even an exhibition should.

uh should not be allowed just because it's too much damage that could be done in a ramification you know we always talk about you know the what if we gotta analyze if the what if is deadly or not we don't we don't look at that you know apollo creed died and that was an exhibition yeah so

These old fighters should not be fighting no young fighters and the young fighters should not even accept it, man. Unacceptable. All right. That's that's my second bit of hate. All right. Yeah, man. That was sad. He should have threw the towel. We should never been in a ring. He should have never been in the ring. All right. And then my last bit of hate. My last bit of hate is people starting off their stories.

saying, oh, this is a true story. So was the other stories lies? What you mean? It's a true story. It's today, Wednesday. No. So then why are you asking a Jermaine rhetorical question? Hey, hey, man. Hey, man, people who start their story off with a true story automatically. That's a red flag, a red flag. It's about 75 percent lies in that.

True story. I was. Hey man. True story. Kevin Hart did the movie. This is a true story. Oh yeah. It's a movie. Oh wait oh wait it's a what? It's a movie. A pop of cream died in the movie. Yeah man. It went to my point. Throw in the towel. And we lost a monumental figure in Rocky because of that man.

Thank you for your patience. You're on there. I'm going to calm down. I'm going to calm down. I'm going to get a tissue, man. Call one to the program. You got me crying over you, man. Call one to the program. Hey, what up? Can you believe my boy? No, man. Ain't no passes. It's Friday, dawg. His roof.

I didn't make the rule up. He made the rule up. So I will not. Yes, I made six dogs. Oh, man, let's do it. I forgot he ate on the Packers. Man, first of all, take us off speaker so we can. Yeah, that's right. We know you're talking crazy about the Packers. I heard that clear. Yeah, I can't hear too good no more. I'm seven days, seventy two last week. Thank you so much.

Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, thank you DJ for starting this off on, you know, in sports flavor because I hate, I mean, this is the saddest day in my hater nation history. Wow. You've had some sad days. Yeah, I had some sad ones, but this is the saddest. This is saddest. I've been with the Green Bay Packers 35 years. I moved here from Louisiana 35 years ago to raise a son. He's good.

And when I saw Brett Fogg dive into the end zone, hit first against the Atlanta Falcons in 1993, I pledged allegiance to the Green Bay Packers. All right. Because he almost got his head toe off. Yeah. So here we are 35 years later, we've got a great quarterback, but the Green Bay Packer organization has just declined to a point where they just don't care. It's all about the money.

None of them have any wives, none of them have any daughters, nieces, momma, grandma, whatever. Okay. I was raised with four sisters and then I raised six daughters. You do not pick a woman up and slam her down on no damn concrete, you piece of crap. I want him shipped to Tampa Bay today. And since they decided

that they're gonna put him on the field in Green Bay, the family town in Wisconsin. They're gonna put him on the field in front of all them women. I'm out. I hate the Green Bay practice and I'm burning everything in here that got the G on it today. All right, that's it for me. Thank you guys. All right, don't burn the house down. I mean, we really don't know what happened. Yeah, and it's not fair to just

He don't even got no felonies. Yeah, like it's Mr. Meaners. It's all Mr. Meaners. No, I'm not. I'm not, you know, but we've seen a lot of DVDs that hit the felony range. So people, they actually sat on this for a while before actually formally charging him. So a lot of evidence was was viewed for a long time and they was watching.

You know the video obviously A judge said that it can't be permanently Sealed but now he's he and his attorney is moving to permanently You know that they're suing to permanently seal the video So the video obviously Will tell more because we just don't have a lot of information as far as you know, what what happened

But he's bringing up a bigger point. Where is the NFL when it comes to domestic violence? And whether all these things, and there's a reason why I believe that they're trying to squash it being released because once it's released, then it's going to force the NFL's hand. And then the NFL is going to have to, they're going to have to suspend them.

It's a it's a bigger question and more raised it and maybe we have to look at the affidavit if the affidavit is public because I don't know because I do and people always refer to Ray Rice and I just always think the Ray Rice situation was different because it was public knowledge that he knocked her out.

No, it wasn't. Yes, it was. Yes, it was. It said that in the police statement on there. They don't have the video. They had the video. But I'm sorry. But what I'm saying is open up the video. It don't matter about the video. If the if the documentation said he did this, then I don't need a video to show me that people always say, oh, the video it changed. No. I remember because I was a kid when this came out and.

It was always reported on ESPN. They used to outside the lines. That that was a program that always used to go into, you know, legal and personal matters. They will always bring up the police statement that said that he knocked her out.

He did it did say that so it was public knowledge if ESPN said in February why didn't they open the package? I don't know what I'm saying is that that was also a fake outrage and a fake response After that video came out because they knew what he did already That's what I'm saying question question Can they do that in the chat?

Do what mention that name even in the chat? No, and she'd know better. I think that's a she Okay Sorry about that. No better man. You can't you shouldn't even acknowledge that I didn't acknowledge it. No, I'm trying to get clarification of the rules That's all I'm trying to do But what I'm saying is I I'm not

as abreast on this case as we were with the Ray Rice case, because the Ray Rice was a super duper big deal. They were going to let him play. Well, ask me. They were going to let him play. No, they suspended him for two games. No, no. He did. He got a two game suspension. They were going to... Right. And then when the video came out, that is when they got him for the season. But they're going to let him play because two games, and then you were able to go and play the rest of the season. So...

Women might ask the question, I remember Rhonda had a real issue with the Packers back in the day with Malsy Cade, right? And how the Packers were more concerned about getting him on the field than they were for justice of his victim. And I understand we, look, I set up and said, boy, we could use Josh Jacobs, right? But the issue is a bigger issue. Where are we when it comes to DV?

when it comes to violence on women. I think that that is where we are. But it's not the NFL job to protect women. No, it's not the NFL's job to enable people who jump on women. It's the NFL's job to uphold law-abiding citizens. That's their job. And to obtain whatever image that they have. Mind you,

The NFL image is not a shiny, bright image. And this doesn't help. It doesn't help. It'll never help. We can't, we can't just be like, oh, the NFL ain't protecting.

Women it's not it's not the NFL job. It's it's the law enforcement. I think it's it's it's it's a mean job to protect women. NFL is a community job to protect women. Yes, and they have a responsibility too. Those are employees. Those are employees of the NFL. Right. And the employees of the NFL is a reflection on the NFL. And if you're saying that it's okay and I'm not saying what you're saying is okay.

I'm just saying that that's the bigger issue. But because we want to see our team win and we want the best players out there, then OK, maybe, and I know certainly in this case, and this is why he doesn't want to release because if they release the video, then the NFL is going to come down hard on him. But I think. So at this point in the field, no, they should know is it is because I'm pretty sure.

the NFL has had the affidavits and the statements of what has happened. From that, you already have an idea of what's going on.

Having a video come out should not all of a sudden drastically change When it does is it documents a fact It's already documented That's a document So let me ask this question DJ is a statement stronger than a video No, it's the same

They can't be the same. It is the same. Because the video, I can say anything in the statement. The video, because we say pictures don't lie. And that's why he doesn't want it out because he knows that the NFL is going to come down hard on his head. So if it's in a written statement that Jermaine knocked me out and the video comes out, your reaction is going to be different. Yes.

That's dumb. It's going to come first. It's not dumb. It's going to come first. Because Jermaine can say I knocked them out. But then the video will come on. But we got knocked out. But we not. But hold on, Jermaine. We're not just talking about us having a conversation. We're talking about stuff that goes into court. We're talking about stuff that the DA reviews and the lawyer reviews. And that's going to be put forth judges. We're not just talking about any old statement. What? OK. Listen.

I can see both sides of it because just like y'all using that example of if the statement saved and then I knocked him out, right? But if you see the video and see how violent the knockout was, or you did the knockout, it's going to change to prospect. It's going to change the perspective of how you see a person. Now, that what he could be doing. That sound. But does that statement DJ got knocked out? Does that not already sound right? Right. Right. Right. No, no, no, no. Listen.

I'm I'm actually with both of you. So what it could be is because he's a brand, right? And he has made it this far in the NFL with no stains on his name. So it could just be that he's protecting his brand, protecting his name. And and the video could just put a stain on his name. But let me tell you why the NFL could not act on the statement because the statement.

Has to be verified and the proof of the statement is in the video So you don't now for his perspective he doesn't want it out one it could be about his brand But his brand does not supersede right the fact that he was violent towards a woman. Well, that's the thing that brand was standing see but

But but if you never see the video and see how violent it is, it leaves the perception up to the people to, you know, OK, well, was it really violent or was it just the argument and it turned into a little pushing? It leaves all that stuff up in the air compared to if you have, like you said, the video and you see exactly what happened and you see him swinging and throwing that changes your perception of how you see him.

And and and going on what you say and the fact that the DA Right right sit went for misdemeanors in terms of the plea deal now and I'm sure that they have seen the video so if Yes, they've seen the video. So if so if they went for the misdemeanor then obviously it's not as violent as people are making and that's what I'm saying Okay, people are making it to be all we're going on right now

in terms of the public record is statements that were made. And here's the thing, he has his story, she has her story, and then there's the truth, and then there's the video. The video will say this is what it was. Okay, so if it wasn't that bad, then release the video. If it wasn't that incriminating, then release the video. Hold on, if the DA and the prosecutors saw the video and chose to knock it down as a misdemeanor,

Again, protecting your brand Norman at a running back career in in the field is already short So I have to protect my brand. So it's really protecting the bag at this point because Legally, they already saw the video and they chose to make it a misdemeanor because if it was violent like Ray Rice and they saw the video or did he who or did he? Oh, yeah, right, right, right, right. What you mean or did he?

No, no, no, it's my because before we saw the video, right? That's why he settled for 20 million dollars. They told us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, but there's a difference in they telling me and I'm saying it. Yeah. And and when it got out, it was like, oh, this is like Ray Rice. Oh, we heard that she got knocked out. But when you see the video, you go like, like, dude, he just to knock her out. He spit on her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that actually goes to if it says, hey.

I slot key, but then you see the video and you see me rough and keep up and he put powder on his head. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. So then so then we as a people have to change that because if somebody says something violently happened, I should not have to have a video to be like, oh, that was wrong, man. That shouldn't happen. No, if.

If somebody says, like I said earlier, Jermaine knocked me out. That should be enough to be like, man, that should not happen. Can I use that as well? That's not enough. And any lawyer would sit up and tell you that the veracity of your statement, if I can pick holes in the statement, it's going to be harder to pick holes. But again, you're taking it from the lens of us having just normal people talk. I'm talking about

They have documentation. They have reviewed the evidence. They have interviewed people this this goes way beyond just of me and you Conversation this is the legal system is involved. Why doesn't he want the video release? Because of how you're acting about the video already The lady did say she didn't want the video release. Can I say the hold on? Okay, so I'm

and Ray Rice's girlfriend ended up being his wife. So listen, so let me turn this on the support side. Say we are watching the basketball game, right? And and they call the file, whatever, somebody pushed a person and they call the file and be like, man, that was a file. But then they show the instant replay to see if it's going to be flagrant one or flagrant two. And they slow it down and you see how violent that file was. Now it's like, oh, man, dude, yeah.

You know that's a flagrant one or a flagrant two So when you see the video and when you and it's slowed down and it's pointed out to you the file That's when you make your decision of oh, yeah, that was a violent file I still think that's different only and I only say that that's different because in sports one person can make a call and Then that that be it now you have now

Now you can challenge and then we're going into nuances. But when the law is involved, multiple people have to come into play in order for charges to be made or dropped and things to be escalated. And so that's why I'm saying all of these parties are involved.

And it took a while for them to even bring forth these charges. And when the charges came, it was deemed as misdemeanors. And so whatever is whatever is on that black and white. Am I just so we're clear? I thought it was dropped from felonies to misdemeanors in the plea deal. Yeah. So originally it started off as a felony. Right.

And that was the fear that now he catches a felony. So he gets the misdemeanor. But my question is, if it's not so bad, then release the video. But also, we do understand that with any federal or state attorney, they're not going to drop no charge if they don't feel that they can uphold that in the court of law. But she would have to testify and she could refuse to testify.

Because it's based on her statement. There was a lot that she's already said she doesn't want it released So then that shows that okay, they want to keep it moving. I did receive some text. Let's say Someone pointed out they said images are always stronger than words Rodney King video This is why the orange fungus administration changed their public viewing of execution plans, right? Because once people see it

It's one thing. Now you're telling people to be verbal or abstract. Try to figure out. Again, we knew about Ray Rice. We didn't know how bad it was until we saw the video. And they say he knocked her out, man. So when there's a difference in what you're saying, and you say that he knocked her out, right, oh, OK, what does that mean? When we saw it, it had a different impact. I did not have a different response. I said, I was like, I'm saying, I was saying,

They said he knocked her out. Why is they acting like? Yeah You'll never be able to so so so right now Mickey Mouse slap Minnie Mouse that don't sound bad

Yeah, but when you see how hard why is that a but but when you see how hard Mickey slap mini It changes your life is a slap. It is brother. Yeah, but there's a difference if I see it or I hear cause you'll never be able to see it. Call it. Welcome to the program. Good morning. You're in there. Well, I call this a which are added at the end because I don't

I called to say what you added at the end because y'all kept saying he was charged with a misdemeanor. No, he pled to a misdemeanor. That's a different. Yeah. Cause I was me personally years ago. I had a case. I was charged with two felonies, but I played at the three misdemeanors. That part. That part. So it don't mean it wasn't that bad. That's what lawyers just thought. And that bread. Yeah. Yeah. So it could be bad, but the lawyers, they made a deal. That's what it's about. Making a deal. Right. And it sound like she wasn't going to incorporate.

Yeah, right. So now if the statement is out there, you don't have the video I mean it was so there's a lot there I think but the bigger question is NFL NBA Major League Baseball regardless of the sport. Are you condoning or are you excusing domestic violence? There are a lot of women who watch the NFL, right?

And so that becomes a real deal and I and I love when when my brother came called them was that train who was saying that they must not have daughters or nieces or wives because if that's your daughter You're gonna look at it real differently Than you know somebody else. So you're gonna see it from a totally different lens, but they they don't condone it though No, no, no not salmon that they could don't but a lot of people are saying

these people should never be able to play again and all of that. But it's easy to ignore it when the video ain't out. That's why they can't, if the video was out, they wouldn't be able to act like it didn't happen. Right. But they can't act like it anyway once the charges was filed. Yeah, but there's a real big difference when that video's in the loop. That's why they put them on that list. See, but when the charges are filed and then you go to court or you send your lawyers in to get them dropped, there's a total difference from you.

Send the video first and send it being violent because then now even if the charges are dropped you still see that violent behavior on film. So I'm pretty sure he had better words than me. Yeah. Yeah. That's hard bro. That's hard. I'm pretty sure and I got like I said this a long time ago but I got two felonies dropped to three misdemeanors so. Yeah. Yeah. I mean and and and that but that's that's a whole whole question man about just the violence.

certainly violence perpetrated on women. And so then that opens up a hole. And I'm sorry that then you have to bring in this whole societal piece of it, but it's part of the conversation. And because the NFL is a public entity, then those things really matter. Amen. Appreciate it. Thank you for the input. You're listening to Community Voice. We're gonna take a break. We'll be right back.

DJ, you get people going, bro. Now it's time for the DJ's perspective. I'm going to pause it before that was Trey that started that conversation. No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm talking about a comment in here about Minnie Mouse. Did Minnie do an open head slam? But it's because of Trey. It's because of Trey. Or was it closed handsome? You got us between Apollo Creed dying, throwing a towel, because COVID.

What a time to be alive. Yes, sir. Here in Wisconsin, we are witnessing history, both politically and in sports. Color barriers aside, this is the first wide open election in over 10 years. The future of our cities, counties and state has the potential to literally flip and the conditions we live in could be unrecognizable in the next several years with various

state, legislator, state Senate, U.S. Congressional, and ultimately the grubitorial, the grub, excuse me, the governor's rights. On the latter side of things, the Milwaukee Brewers are on the precipice of winning their first World Series in franchise history.

Throughout this season, the Brewers have brought excitement to the entire state in an effort to unite everyone for one goal, a World Series Championship win. Sports has always been the great equalizer when there is dissension permeating local and national environments. In this time, we have two cornerstones within our society weeks apart from each other.

one that will unite the state together for a fun and entertaining cause and another that will divide the state and has tremendous impact on our livelihood. The irony is that politics does bring people together, but not for long. In this moment, everyone is witnessing history and politics and sports are at the forefront of it all.

For the next week or so, we will be united as one, cheering on our brewers. And shortly after, we will be back on our respective corners as a divided state. Truly, this is a remarkable time. And no matter your position both athletically and politically, we can all acknowledge that within the next few weeks, there's a lot at stake. Good job.

I have a question y'all. I was driving and I saw a Tom Tiffany sign But wait a minute, then I saw a Milwaukee brewer flag. Should I still egg the house? What? That's what people with low-class do man. That's how we do

I don't do nothing. No, but I'm just saying how should I feel about the house if you have a Tom Tiffany sign and then you have a Milwaukee Brewer flag? We in the same state, duh. That's just people. That's normal. I know we're in the same state, man. So what you think? Everybody think like you? Yeah. You could listen to Meach and know that ain't true. That's not the point. I'm asking. He in Milwaukee. I'm asking is the person cool if they have a Tom Tiffany sign?

I'm a walkie-brewers flag. Guess what? I always say this. Whenever the Olympics come on, it's going to be a mega person that you may dapp up with when Team USA win. That's the great uniter sports. It's the great uniter. Then we go back into our separate corners. No, don't be egging nobody else. You too old for that. First of all, have some class. I don't got to be like them.

That's a problem now. Always trying to warm up somebody, trying to do it. We don't do what they do. We are who we are, and that's why they look at us. We are who they thought we were. Thanks, Pops, for the advice. I tell you what I heard. I'll tell you what I know. Thank you, Pops. What was that movie that is Pops was younger than him? Oh, brother.

something with juice in the community. Don't let us to call her up to the program. Good morning. You're in there and thank you for your patience. Yes, I was thinking about the conversation about the football player. I was thinking that all three had good points.

Comparison with the video sort of with the replay on the replay. Sometimes they may say it's flavoring. Sometimes they may say it's not flavoring. Sometimes they may say it wasn't even a file. So I agree with Keith that you need the verification and Then you confirm it once you see it Okay

I know we're all enthusiastic and we're excited.

We've altered our life based on the Brewers being in the World Series for the first time in 44 years. But as organizations... They ain't stripping. They got a... That's twice. I didn't want to bring it up. I don't know why you... I think that's a bad omen to bring that up. I think we should bring it up because... Okay, just what am I talking about?

Man, you bring this up at the wrong time, man. He is, man. He bring this up at the wrong time. Okay, so now all of a sudden at the wedding, hey, you know, they wouldn't know. So thank God they're doing a watch party. They're going to do it inside of American family field. And they're going into your district. Tickets were, no, I'm talking about the away games. So tickets were 15,000. A lot of people cannot afford.

Well, we'll not pay and we just saw what the average ticket price was is going about two grand made For the game so do a watch party when they're on the road $15 right first come first serve Conspiracy would a cute yeah a secret cold went out to season ticket holders and So most people could not get in And by time they got in the season ticket holders

had already bought up the watch party tickets. That's crazy. So now you have folks out there going like, well, this would have been the only time. Right. So I don't know, man, watch it from home or go to a bar. Yeah. But it ain't but it ain't like experience. It ain't nothing. I didn't want to take it. I was offered. Yeah. But I was like experiencing it though, bro. You're going to experience it.

No, at home. No, it's at a bar. But there's a difference from when you always watch it at home because of your team not really making it this far, you know, compared to you being in the morning. And you would have expanded the number of people, like the season ticket holders, they're going to be at the game, right? Right, already. If they haven't sold their tickets a whole lot. All right, man, move on for this. We're not about to just be, that's why I said, you bring us on time, man. He could have brought this up after we won.

He's going to bring me something now. Oh, if I brought it up after we won, then it. Wait, wait. Hold on. He just called it something. Wait a minute. We won. Don't jinx us. Talk about we won. Right. You got to speak it into existence. No, that's a book. Call and welcome to the program. Good morning. And thank you for taking my call. Good morning. You know, I think

When I see these watch parties and when I hear where they are, they're never in our neighborhood. That's not true. So late. That is not true. So late. That ain't true. A lot of people haven't watched parties. Bars are real good. A whole lot of money. I'm telling you that the addresses that they're giving on channel 12. We're talking about what they're promoting. What I'm saying is that someone has what would be the benefit and what would the community benefit.

Those bars are going to be packed all over the city. So yeah, a whole lot of bartender. I'm just saying again. Just like DJ, you could go to your own community bars because I know they're going to be full with people watching the game. And a lot of people are having their own watch parties at their home. So it's still the same thing. And I think it's pretty sad because you have a

When you do see people, it seems like they try to stray away from any black. I don't see them interviewing any black, asking them what they think. Have you watched any Brewer's games this year? Yeah. OK, what does the crowd look like? Are there a lot of black people in the crowd? No, it is. There's spots here and there. Not some. Not like if you go to a bus game. A speckle of black.

but but but actually being in the building and sin for yourself because I've been to some Brewer's games and it's a lot of black people that's at the game, bro. Exactly. A lot, a lot, a lot is relative. I know what I'm seeing on TV. There's a video. There was a when it was the African-American festival. They honestly interviewed

white folks and did not interview any blacks. And it was black people there. And I'm like, what's wrong with them? Are they crazy? Well, that sounds like that if it was a black festival, they interview white people just to get their stance about the black festival. Well, thank you very much. And they should do the same thing when they do the blueers games. They do. That's my point. We got to go to a break.

Okay, he's been trying to he's been trying to let you get what we do, but we gotta go to a break. All right, so this is community voice We will be right back

happiness donors wanted to see his brewers gear. You know, it looked like that one. Yeah, you know, we all represent. We all represent. You look legit, man. That's Nike. So that's. Oh, my God. If you come up in here with what a phyla with a blue thing, that's probably British.

That is official. That is Nike. There you go. Clark Clark was said he's doing a combo today. He's doing a combo. And look, let me say this man. And again, what the sister was saying, you

This is possibly history. Well, it's already history because you got back, right? And how rare it is for any team to get to a World Series. And so people will take pride in the fact that it's your city. They don't know anything about baseball. It don't matter. Like I said, Yanis is next to Obama to me. Yeah. Because when I was growing up, people said the Bucks will never win another championship. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I remember when they first drafted them.

Everybody was asking who was this kid from Greece because everybody thought he was white until they showed him in the audience with his brother holding the flag. And I told my guy, I'd never forget it. I told my guy, I started looking at his highlights and I was saying how he was pushing the floor, pushing the ball overseas. I say, Yannis is going to be a superstar. He's going to change the game in Milwaukee. And they laughed at me. You got the tape? Yeah.

But what people don't understand was, Giannis was actually drafted after Jabari, because Jabari was actually supposed to be our star. He was big too. If he would have been, if he didn't get hurt, Giannis and JB would have been, you sure he was drafted before? Yeah, because Giannis was 13 and then so Jabari was 14.

No, no, Jabari came. Yes. No, he was first. So Jabari got drafted first. Yeah, right. Yeah, that's what I thought. And then Yannis came that year after. Yeah. I know, uh, you know, I think like I put in my perspective, what a time to be alive just for me because I was, I was very young when the Packers won in 96. So I didn't, I didn't really, I don't even remember that, you know, but when they won in 2010,

I was at Francine's house. You know, that was a big deal. Like, whoa, Packers won. Never got to see Super Bowl party. I've ever went to. I've ever went to. Never got to see Kareem. So obviously didn't get to experience the Bucks until 2021. You know, and now now the Brewers, obviously, I wasn't around in 82. But they didn't win. But still, to even make it to go that far, is it? Yeah. Right, you know.

man, I remember my dad talking about the Bugs back in the early seventies because, you know, my dad played ball and he got that skyhook that came nobody stopped. So he, he had put that hook on you and is going in every time. So he was telling us about how the Bugs was with Oscar and, you know, Kareem and all and he used to always say, man, they was a tough, you know, they were tough teams. So they went to the finals three times. Right. So and seeing it was like, okay.

I actually went back to YouTube and started watching some of the highlights and old highlights of how they played. And I'm like, man, that was really right. And mind you, the Bucks was an expansion team in 1968. And for them to win, was that 71? 71, 72. Yeah. So to win a championship three years from your genesis. And right now, that's the whole history piece in the WNBA with the Valkyrie. Because if they win the WNBA title, they will be the...

franchise the expansion franchise the quickest to a championship in two years. So what's the series? So what's the series now? 2-1 the fever. Oh man. So when they play tonight? So to my Atlanta, right? I keep on feeding the dream dream. Okay, so he asked me this question. So we had Korean.

Why, why don't we get good players? I'll tell you why. Because that was all part of his contract. Yeah, he had all he had to play was five years. Yeah, all he could go to New York or he could go to LA. And times were different back then. You know, if I was, if I was, uh, Kareem, I would have left too. Times was different back then. Who was the longest super star in the books ever had to stay? Giannis.

Yeah, Sidney Monkree. Sidney Monkree and Paul Presley. Sidney Monkree and Paul Presley. Paul Presley wasn't no superstar. Well, he was a star. Sidney Monkree. Paul Presley. He was like a super teeter and superstar. Well, I take that away. Sidney Monkree, there was an all-star. Yeah. Oh, and Paul Presley. Yeah. So, yeah. So, as far as being a superstar, Yanis was a superstar. But you know, it's a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that wasn't superstars in that day. Right. Right. They was all stars. They were just very good players.

Yeah. Okay. I mean like a superstar because Chris Muller there was an all star. A soup. A Chris Muller. He was an all star. Like he wasn't a superstar, but he was an all star. Chris Muller that shoots your eyes. He's in the hall of fame, right? Yeah. But that don't make you. But it's people. But it's people. How do you get in the hall of fame and that don't make you a superstar? Because you could just be, it's more than go into

Making the Hall of Fame. I mean, it is more that goes into being a superstar than just your game. Yeah, because there's there's a difference between super and all stars. So, uh, people, so, uh, so like ability, you know, your ability to, uh, attract, you know, other, uh, not even that too, but like other, uh,

advertising dollars and things of that nature. Give me a name of somebody in the Hall of Fame who wasn't a Jamal Wilkes. He wasn't no superstar. Jamal Wilkes was really good. Let me let me let me give you his resume. Jamal Wilkes won one, two, three NCAA championships at UCLA. He played on two different

NBA champion team and he was a vital part of it. Jamal Wilkes. Dennis Johnson. Dennis Johnson was the one, now Dennis Johnson would be the one where you would argue he was never really, because he was very good. I just saw a piece where he played at Phoenix. I forgot how good he was at Phoenix before after he left Golden State. Would you call it Tim Hardaway, a superstar? A star.

I don't know if superstar it would be. So again, I'm naming all these players. Well, you only name two. I've named three. Okay, three. I'm saying but but now you you are not definitively saying yes, they were superstars. Which means you can make the Hall of Fame and not be a superstar. That don't that don't diminish. Name a superstar that's not in the Hall of Fame. Tracy McGrady Vince.

No, did Vince Carter make the Hall of Fame? Did he get in there this year? The White Howard was a superstar. They talked about putting the White Howard in the Hall of Fame. He should be. He should be. OK, so then he should be. But again, you just asked me name a Hall of Famer. I mean, name a superstar that wasn't a Hall of Famer. Give me another one. Damien Stodermann. Is Penny Hardaway in the Hall of Fame? Who? Damien Stodermann.

No, it's still be in the hall of fame. It's Penny Holloway in the hall of fame. He has no credibility. AJ Green should be in the hall of fame. We're not about to go there. No, no, no, no, no. Just wait, man. Penny Hardaway. Is Penny Hardaway in the hall of fame? He is undoubtedly a superstar. Yeah, he should be. I thought he was in the hall of fame. No, and he retired a long time ago.

All you gotta do is ask is Benny Hardaway in the basketball Hall of Fame? I'ma say no, he's not in all of fame because they ain't saying nothing. And he was definitely a superstar. You know, along with Tracy McGrady, definitely a superstar. So you can definitely be a Hall of Famer and not be a superstar and you could be a superstar.

and not be all the famer. Why does it take so long for them to? I don't know. I don't know why it took so long for them to answer that. You know what I'm saying? But you know, I got to respect my elders. You know what I'm saying? So I'm just going to say that they're just getting hip to technology.

But you know, you type that up. You be an offensive don't make your point anymore. Do we have a caller? I'm right. Yeah, see, that's how you know. He's looking to get somebody in here. You know what it is because it's a subjective conversation. No, that's not subjective. So what about receipt Wallace? Should he be in the Hall of Fame? I think she should be in the Hall of Fame. Is he an all star and a superstar?

No, but when you look at his body of work, he was great at North Carolina. He was great as a pro. So is he an all-star? He wasn't a superstar. A superstar because he was an all-star. But you got to remember, you got to remember what basketball is unique. Right. Because basketball does not have a pro hall of fame. Basketball, the hall of fame is based on your entire career. But I would say Rashid Wallace had the potential to be a superstar, but he just didn't want to be.

Obviously, he wasn't promoted as such, but he definitely had the game. There's a great out there. I think it's called when they talked about the Portland Trailblazers. Oh, yeah, I saw that when they all got pulled over. Document you that time. I think I do think Spreewell had was a superstar for at least for at least a.

three year period in New York, especially in New York. I'm just saying I'm just saying outside his whole career because the Sprewell shoes and the Sprewell rims that took on his life. That don't get you in the hall of fame. No, but we just talking about he was a superstar at that part. So there's a difference between being a superstar and being an all star.

Yeah. Springwell was a superstar because his name... All-Star is... And he made the All-Star, too. His objective. Yeah. Superstar subject. And what I mean by it is who you put the label on... Right. ...is up to the individual because you're talking... To carry it, right. But if you say All-Star, if you say All-NBA... Right. ...those are tangible, quantifying awards... Yeah. ...that they're going to, you know, NBA championships. Those things...

You know, that's why people are arguing to Robert Ori be in the Hall of Fame. No, come on now. That would be disrespectful to the Hall of Fame. You can't compare Robert Ori to Ben Wallace. Ben Wallace was about four times. I think he even is a five time defensive player of the year. He won it at least three times in a row on top of his all defensive player.

So let them lead in rebounds and blocks for consecutive years. And he was an undersized center. There is no way that you can justify Ben Wallace not being in the Hall of Fame. I wouldn't justify it. No, you tried to compare him to Robert Ory as if he shouldn't be. And Robert Ory should be. So is Adams Hall of Fame? Of course. Yeah, and he was a superstar. He went in with Shaq.

Yeah. And the Shaq went in again. Hall of Famer Superstar. And he did it all. But Penny Hardaway was undoubtedly a superstar. But he not in a Hall of Fame. I think I would say Penny Hardaway is probably one of the better basketball players ever. Yeah. If you, I had a chance to see him play in person. Yeah. You knew this dude. Amazing. His basketball IQ was one of the greatest players ever. He just got hurt. Him and Tracy. Jossie Villa. Oh yeah, Jossie. Nah, I am.

He's not a superstar and he's in the Hall of Fame, but me personally, I don't think he should be in the Hall of Fame. He's a winner. I don't think he should be in the Hall of Fame. So what about Joe Dumars? Joe Dumars is in. Right. But I don't think he was a superstar. Well, he was an all-star. He won the Superstar. He played with Adrian Danlid. Played with Mark Aguire. So, Isaiah was more of the superstar of the team because his face was

Happy to show us his horse grant. Oh, no, neither. He's he's a solid player. He wasn't great. Solid glue. He made he made the All-Star team one time. A lot of people make the All-Star team. But I'm saying he only did it one time. Somebody asked is there someone in the WNBA that should be in the NBA Hall of now in the basketball Hall of Fame, not the NBA.

basketball hall of fame. They usually all make it. All of the women that were really good. Asia Wilson is definitely. Yeah, she's gonna make it. Currently playing. What's the what's the tall girl? The that's that's with New York. Oh, yeah. Stuart. Stuart. Brianna Stewart. She's gonna make it. So, what about Zach Randall? No. No. Well, Memphis though, he carried Memphis for some years. Yeah, okay. All right.

and Tom Chambers carried. You just know. So yeah, but look, remember, it's levels to this. So you're talking about good players. We're talking about extraordinary. Yeah, exact. He was a good player. Don't want to bother. Oh, yeah. She's probably going to get in. That's the skinny girl. And yeah, yeah, yeah. Based on now, her partner, Thomas, at least. Oh, she's a beast. But I'm looking right now.

I if Kelsey Mitchell can get a ring. I think that she's she's probably going. Who else is playing right now? I think she's going to get in. I think Kate when Clark is going to get in. I don't know if she's not, but I think she will. She got a lot of stuff to do right now. I'm not saying that I think right now. Angel Angel passing her. Oh, there's no question.

Angel is she got better I'm not gonna say she's the better player because if you really watch Caitlyn Clark's game She really does have a well-rounded. No one gives her credit for her assist I mean she so if a player averages a double double and now they not now they can't now they can't talk crazy about her double doubles because member her double doubles used to be like 10 and 15 even though that's really good Now her double doubles is 20 and 10. You know who was 20 and 10

Tim Duncan. First of all, you're not getting any argument on the improvement that Angel Reese has made. There's no... Oh, Chelsea Gray. She's gonna go. Let's see, who else is out there? Is Diana Tarasi in? Still, I'm saying, is she in? She's already in. She's probably, she's up there with Candace Parker. No, no, no, I'm not.

I'm not saying like I'm asking you is she a horror fan? I'm saying like is she already in the horror fan? She is. Yeah. That's a Sean Kim. No. Sean Kim was a monster though. Him, Dale Eless. He could have been a superstar. What about Dale Eless? No, man. What? N.O.

Man, you weren't even born, man. I know some of you ain't even never saw the cat play man. The people who told you last week I always do my research. Yeah, you do your research on Dale Ellis. Yes, I did. Dale Ellis was a real good player. So he played with but he played on a Super Sonics bro. Do you? So if you're going to say no to Sean Kemp, you got to say no to Dale Ellis. I'm talking about better than him. I'm talking about I never said no to son. You said no to both of them.

So, just because you said no, that don't mean. Bro, LL is not a Hall of Famer, man. Why not? He wasn't good enough. He wasn't good enough? No. You know who should be in the Hall of Fame that isn't? Antoine Jamison. Antoine Jamison has over 20,000 points. You know, only, only, only about 40, only about 40 players ever. Okay, Daniel.

She wasn't eligible. She's not eligible, but she will be. But she will be. Okay, yeah, but she will be. So it's plenty women that's gonna be in the Hall of Fame just because a lot of the women have extremely decorated college resumes. And the people that we just named, they college resumes, surpassed their WNBA resume. And then when you look at their WNBA resume, it surpasses

anything and then on top of that, before you go, a lot of the women, they have two to three, maybe four gold medals. Because our women just dominate basketball in the Olympics. So women are probably the only players that legitimately have a full resume to justify why they're in the Hall of Fame. But there's some people who I thought Billy Owens.

should have been a Hall of Famer just based on Billy Ocean. Billy Ocean. His high school team won three straight high school championships. He's from Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was certainly a solid pro career and a solid college career, but you know, everybody can't get in.

because then it wouldn't be a Hall of Fame. I mean, there is no real criteria for the Hall of Fame, which I think that there should always be a criteria when it comes to the highest awards. Just like they always say, there is no real criteria for the MVP. And it's not. And so if you have someone who statistically

statistically dominant and then their team is very successful, then that usually makes the case. And let's just kind of shift away. There's been many times where that wasn't the case. And there's not always that the greatest players are in the Hall of Fame look at baseball right now. But we know why the greatest players are not at baseball. Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame.

you know, I, I, I don't want to get down to McGuire and Salsa. I mean, I don't know. Great home run. I'm going to disagree with you. Happiness. Donuts. Sidney Monkree should be in the Hall of Fame when you look at his body of work through the 80s. And then I want to, he, he has at least one defensive player of the year. He may have two, but for a guard to be

one of the leading scorers on your team. He was probably the best player on the books and when the defensive player of the year. Remember that award usually only go to big men. And so for guards to win that award is a tremendous feat. So I do think Sidney McCree should be in the Hall of Fame. Before or after Bobby Dandridge? Yeah. Because Bobby Dandridge

And I think Bobby Dandridge was better than Sidney Mockree. But as you look for that, one thing that I will say on the Hall of Fame vote, I think the Hall of Fame and any league awards, I think that the players should be a part of the voting. I don't agree that

these sports writers are the ones that should be determining who wins these awards and who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Marcus Johnson. If you didn't play, you don't really know how good these people were. And then on top of that, you know, just like players can have biases, but you know, writers, they have

real deep rooted biases towards certain players, and which is the reason why, you know, a lot of players don't receive certain awards, you know, Shaquille O'Neal. He didn't receive a unanimous MVP award in 2000. Clearly.

he should have been the first player to receive that, you know. I think though you have to, you just pointed something out that it's human beings who make these decisions and they bring their biases and I agree. Quickly, anybody willing to go out and make a prediction on tonight's game? I say Brewers 4-2. I got the Brewers 6-3.

I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it.

I hate the beers, but I got man. I hate the business and that's the thing credit. That was a nice. You know what? I'm going to I'm going to get some more hate and they deserve to hate. Why are you always worried about us, bro? Y'all y'all still talking about, you know, we suck and all of that. Y'all not even playing us. You know, we're not worried about your focus on who y'all got. That's why y'all got whipped last week and then.

Y'all be talking crazy. So, oh, we could be sure with anybody and then when we ta-da-da, when we ta-da-da, then you come with the excuse, oh, we didn't have cue. We heard back up. Well, y'all weren't talking that greasy then, but now, because y'all took that ale, y'all bringing up these excuses, man. Move around. Yeah. Yeah.

Well, if he's healthy, the way that boy's playing, I'm a little worried. We don't need to talk about y'all. We expected to whoop y'all. That's what we do. Y'all got lucky last year. I'm not going to jinx the team by predicting because I think I'd be the jinx. So I'll put that on y'all. All right.

people are saying the Bucks this afternoon at three. Hey, and that was that was a good thing for the Bucks to do that. I get kudos to the Bucks. They moved their game up to three. Well, they had no smoke. They're moving high school football games up. Everything is being changed. But I'm saying because this is monumental, I like I even like when all of the different organizations give each other a shout out. The Packers give the Bucks a shout out. The Bucks a give the Packers a shout out and then the Brewers a give.

whoever shout out. That's that's though. Yeah, the district. Well, yeah, they having a watch party because after the Bucks game, the Bucks squad is going to the home. I mean, to the World Series game so they will be in the building. Oh, that's right. Yeah, but they having a watch party outside at the Deer District. It's going to be crazy. How much money they going to generate down there? It's free. No, no.

The bars. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. The bars. It's gonna be great. And it's gonna be a beautiful evening, man. It's supposed to be a beautiful morning. Hey, shout out to everybody that listened to us on YouTube, watch us on YouTube and Facebook. I forgot to give y'all y'all a shout out. And then obviously the listeners that is just listening on regular radio. Shout out to y'all. Thank you for joining the conversation. And again, just a reminder. Oh, yeah. Y'all know, you know, been

the minority owner, minority owner. And he actually released the statement yesterday. So yeah, man, go Brewers, man, let's go. And this Sunday, again, at Zion Hill Church, there will be our pastor's 40th year anniversary. The Reverend Dr. John Walton will be our morning speaker. So we start at 10, so we get a chance. And also, if you're free tonight, I'll be down at 5.02, catching...

some of the, you know, game, but I'll be at 502 for a second, uh, playing and then I'm leaving from there. So, yeah, come on down. I was going to say so. I'm going to wait until I'm here. Don't say nothing. I'm leaving from there. Are you sure you want to give me a location? Tell you still. Bye, man. I'm cutting everybody's mic off.

Let me try to get up here now. He came out on all your information. Hello, I'm Willie Krueger Rice. I'm up to talk to everybody on Monday. Y'all have a good weekend. Go Brewers. Go Packers. Go Bugs. Go from this place in peace.
