You're cussing me this early this morning, man. Hold on. Hold on there a minute, Clark. Do what you got to do. Yes, sir. Here we go. Milwaukee first. Milwaukee first. Milwaukee first. Milwaukee first. Let's play some baseball and get some home runs. Let's play some baseball and get some home runs. Milwaukee first. Milwaukee first. Milwaukee first. Milwaukee first.
Let's put some baseball and get some homeruns. Let's put some baseball and get some homeruns. Milwaukee Brewers, this for you. We got heart, no fear. Milwaukee Brewers is the best team that they click in. Our stadium, be so loud, I can't hear. Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Brewers.
Good morning. Welcome to Community Voice. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Just in case everybody's been sleeping under a rock. The Milwaukee Brewers are on their way to the World Series first time.
44 years 44 years I went out for the first game of the ACLS Hey, no ALCS. There you go. I went out in O County Stadium. So anyway, um, we'll talk about that a little bit. Let me good morning Clark Kent. Who you with? Hey man, the Brewers. What the Brewers? Apostle. Yes sir.
Seven of the board I almost didn't make it to work this morning, but I got threatened over the area yesterday from Debo that I better come So I decided uh, I spent the night outside the studio What you had to do party actually Get into the watch party and win the doors about 15,000. Yeah, it was listen. It was amazing Out there last night man. It was it was amazing
It felt like the Bucks Championship Series year, you know, when everybody was outside and it was watching on the screen. It seemed like yesterday or last night there was no racism present because everybody was hugging each other. Everybody was hugging each other and cheering and they were spilling beer and stuff all over the place, man. It was it was.
Amazing time that I bet it was man. It was amazing, bro. Yeah, I was I made a mistake, so I ate oh and went to sleep you was out for the cow Castle Christmas. I woke up Good morning DJ. I'm sorry I had I had I see I pretty much thought it was over
Yeah, it was out 4-0. Yeah, it was out 4-0. So, well, y'all can say that, but, you know, that... I knew it wouldn't. The day after the night before. I was just... And they know that when they went up 4-0, it was like the top... No, second innings. Second innings. Second innings. Yeah, second innings. No, it was first. No, it was the second. It was the second. It was the second. Were they on time? Did he bat clean up? No, he bat first. No, on time, he didn't bat first. So, it would have been the second time.
Huh? Yes, it would have been a lead off. Oh, he was lead off. And so they came back through because yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Because that first picture, he was weak. So it was like, okay. They the Dodgers got a strong bullpen. What? Don't know. They do. Yeah. No, they don't. They don't. They do. Yeah. No, they do. And to the brewers, to the brewers, they had the best after the brewers. Yeah. But then so I kind of go, then I come back and oh man, four, two, eight.
Then I woke up. I think when as we get in and he did what the last two eight night? No, he did the last nine outs. He did seven eight and nine. Yeah, because you know, they actually had Trevor in the in the bullpen warming up. Yeah. Just in case if they needed them. But when we was down four zero and we scored and it was four two, I said to myself, bro has been doing this all year.
Yeah, because I was turning back and forth from the Seattle game because we haven't heard from Arizona. Yeah, what time is it in Arizona? Yeah, time for him to call. What time is it? So, Sam Donald through the pick, man. What do you need to call for? What do you need to call for? He always called when we lose, right? I told y'all on Friday we was gonna have the same records. Did I not? So, Sunday, you know, they lost whole Sunday, Thursday, they lost, but this cat ain't called yet. He called Seattle. You know.
he already know what DJ said is the gospel. That's it. That's it. That's it. That's it. He don't need to call the gospel of the chisel, but I don't know why you thought it was over in the second inning. That's low. Well, only because of how the game has been played. So only none. No, but it's in first, but it's the second. Yeah. It's really how they've been playing, man. They've been playing.
Well, so it's been close. Even even when they played the Padres, remember they was down. Was it game two? Yeah. And and then they came back and they tried to seven, eight and nine any like baseball is a long game. So and the the thing that I was telling one of my coworkers is that you can tell whose year it is just by seeing how resilient a team is. And.
meet saying resilient is it's a lot of times where teams go down in every sport where there's football, baseball, basketball, but then gradually as the game go on, they come back and then they take the lead and then they never give it away. These games have been so tight. You figure like a one run lead or really want a two run lead. But the Brewers have been winning with one run lead all year. Now, I wonder, well, the other thing that Brewers also been doing is hitting home runs.
I think that that is what they wasn't doing that in the regular season. They've been doing that as they hit home runs. And then I think if you go back to the Atlanta series with the Dodgers, they left so many base runners and that street just continued. They could not hit. Ohtani hitting that home run has been the exception to the rule. A lot of times they were scoring on errors. And I wasn't even tripping when Ohtani hit the home run because he to go.
That's what you expect. You expect great players to show up and make great plays, but you still have to just continue to be who you are. That's what the players did. We've been shutting him down. He's hurt.
We still been shutting them down compared to what he did to us last year. Last year. Yeah. Well, didn't he hit three home runs in one game last year? And struck our team. But that was last year. You just talk about old stuff. No, what I'm saying, but baseball is and that's how you it is based on statistics is based on probability. You know, when people are going in, when he said, oh, OK, well.
right out hits real well against left-handers. I'm gonna put a right-hander in. I mean, those are all those considerations. Past performances matter. But if somebody is hot, like Ashby was, it doesn't matter who came up to that plate. He was on. And when you on, you gotta ride that high hand. Okay. Well, I appreciate everybody the day after the night before. I'm sorry, I was the only one in Milwaukee who felt that way. No, you probably wasn't the only one that just wasn't me.
I wasn't like that. And we didn't talk last night, so you didn't know how. But if Kamani is listening, he could call. And he would tell you that I was saying all through the night that the Brewers were still going to win. Because I figured, you know. And I said we was going to get that extra run, which we did. OK, all right. Nobody was there with you. All right, 4144. Nobody believes you. Nobody. I just told you. If a tree fell in the forest, would it make a sound?
I just, you know, and I just went on the fact that not the surprising, not so much the Dodgers because the Brewers are pretty much on the Dodgers this year, right? That's how they end up getting the, they had the tiebreaker for best record in baseball. I think the other thing that last night confirmed for me is that having the best record in baseball was not a fluke this year that, you know, they, they're, they're a good team. And then think about it.
They had a year under the belt and experience matters, you know, like if you've been there before Like the Dodgers last year was there the year before The Brewers get in last year. They were they were like just overwhelmed by the bigness of the moment You've been there because it was it was Trevor Trevor McGill with when they won the first game and he's laughing said well, we won't be sweet sweat My thing is
I think our manager out coached this guy. He's the best manager in baseball. He really made critical decisions that if we would have still had Craig Council, some of those pictures that was losing it like you rabies when he loaded the bases, it's been time that Craig Council has sat there and allowed them to score one or two runs before he would go to his bullpen. And we're sitting there like,
Why would you let him stay in the game? And you see he hit everything is off. His control is off. His philosophy, his philosophy is off. Velocity. Velocity is off and you still let this dude stay in and pitch, man. It's crazy. I mean, council, the, the, the, and we said this before, but the, the start difference is council was more of manufacturer runs by home runs.
and Pat Murphy is, you do all of the little things to get around. You know what I'm saying? That's the difference. You know, we run, we get singles, you know, we still basis, you know, all of those things make the Brewers the most well-rounded team on top of having a strong bullpen. And people always knock the starting pitching, but
you know, when you have a strong bullpen, then that can sort of subside the weaknesses on the back half of your rotation. But I would say outside of yesterday, all of our rotation players have played really well.
Now, I was surprised about Hamilton. No, Hamilton should have. Do you want to hit that home run? No, because he hit the home run. Yeah, he hit the home run. He played well this whole playoff. I think get him in. I said put Pratt in his DH, put him in. Or, or, or, or, because if you... Oh, keep yelling. Yeah, keep yelling. Yalla's been playing way better than he has in the playoffs. And on top of that, if you don't start him,
Whoever you start if they in the slump, you would have a hot bat that you can actually put in or a base runner Yeah, or a base runner that you could put in that would be able to play that play that position. So there's there's a couple of things again Brewer's hitting home run something they didn't do all year, you know near the bottom Yeah, and and DJ is right. They did play a lot of small ball because they have power. So let me shout out Jake Bowers, man. Oh that cat
But the story. Eye contact? The story. Yeah, he was getting ready to give up baseball. The fact that he got back in baseball for the health insurance. Yeah, because his wife was pregnant. And just think, you know, two years later, you know, he played in the World Series. Yeah, he did. He was MVP for the championship series. And he actually hit 20, I think they said he hit 23 home runs this year. Yeah. So he went from... No, he hit more than that.
It was like 23 or 25 or something like that, but it was in 20s. But they said that this cat went from almost giving up. Right. He was about to retire. He was staying on that because he couldn't figure it out. Yeah. And then here you go two years later. But that when I tell you somebody else, the same thing, Vaughn last year. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know what that goes to when you.
have something to play for or something to fight for, you know what I'm saying? That was important, you know, getting that, getting that health insurance. And so now your, your goals is much bigger than yourself. You know what I'm saying? And now all of a sudden he has a career year that, you know, after next year, he gonna get paid.
Well, hopefully, hopefully they don't, hopefully they don't, you know, go into the lockout. But, you know, after, after this, because, you know, he got one year left, you know, probably he may get an extension or they just wait it out to after next year. But no matter what, he going to get paid because people always overpay championship winners. Right. So question. So question. So if you were to preach a sermon about.
This guy and his journey. How would you phrase it? Like how would you how would you you know put it in? You know that the people can understand let me put that in my homiletic roller decks and What was the name of the robot Clark in in the Jetsons? No, no, no, no, no, I'm sorry the computer Set a max something
Yeah, that's out there if y'all know the name of the computer In the Jackson in the Jetsons, so let me do is also today is the 31st anniversary the million man March long live the spirit of the million man March I Know they did something last last week, and I'm sorry to get a chance by time I saw the tax program had already passed but yeah the
Man, I didn't I was obviously too young to go to the March or Washington But to be able to go to the million man March I'm gonna say it changed my life and I know some people were oh wait what happened when you got a million black men showed up in a space Man, I think it'll be perfect with this climate and this culture going on right now
It'd be perfect to actually have the wood went on back in the day to have and you know, right crazy a Whole lot of stuff was going on. They did it for the 25th 20 20 I saw J Cole so whichever one they did I thought that was the 25th and I was out there for and I met I didn't meet him, but I saw J Cole. Um, but the That whole spirit I tell the story
That on that day and that's when you could go to the gate. Oh, you know, it's pre-911 and so My oldest nephew Lamar and my mom and my wife took me to the airport and I have pictures of us there at the airport now I almost didn't go because I got so sick I didn't know if I'd be able to travel So I was healed enough to be able to go
And like I said, you, you just don't, I know Tyrone Dumas talks about it. Others talk about it. You know, when you, when you're in a space with a million people, now I experienced something similar to that. It wasn't a million man March 1982 when the brewers won the pennant.
And all these folks were downtown and they estimated it was close to maybe a half million to a million folks downtown. So, and I kept thinking like, I think people downtown, but it was late plus I had to get up and come in here. So, yeah, so again, long live the spirit of the many man March. Those people, you know, the one, the few times I've ever seen or saw Gerald Jones in person was on the plane as we flew out to the many man March.
So, and let me shout out, I don't know if he's listening, Marvin Pratt, the different folks that was on that plane, Commander McGee, there were people on that plane. I'm still trying to figure out Spencer Coggs, I got on that plane. And then I kept saying, man, if this plane go down, all the black male leadership in Milwaukee, go. Howard Fuller was on the plane. I mean, it was a lot of folks going out and we bumped into speech.
the rest of development. And you know who else? Ice T. Ice T at the airport. You know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Yeah, 84. No. Uh, wait, I think I met Ronda. 9 years is 84. Uniback. As I said, if they have the Uniback moment, Uniback, that's the moment. So anyway, uh, wanted to do that, man. I mean, I, uh, Rhonda was watching. Um, you know, Rhonda's not a sports sports fan.
But I know when the Packers were making their run and when the Bucks, now when the Bucks made their championship run, my mama called me and she said, what time it came on the night? So, mom, you know, she said, well, everybody else is watching. So, but I don't think there was any traffic last night. And again, I was, and I know, I know the sounds cause people saying, I was prepared to lose this game because it was, it was how difficult it was going to be.
you know for the Dodgers one way or the other so in my mind I'm going like oh cool my concern was we had the Freedom Fund dinner tonight and I was going to watch the game if they lost last night you know but uh I think
I knew they weren't going to lose. OK, man. I got you, man. I hear you, bro. You gotta trust the profit, man. Yeah, man. You gotta trust the profit. You do, man. I do. He the type of person I can't watch the game with, because any little thing you have, oh, man, we going to lose. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
y'all in the euphoria, uh, we go into the world series. But if people are telling me that they were absolutely sure, I mean, you know, because just probabilities, the numbers say that, okay, you know, this was that, and then, and here's, but it should have been some indicators. When you looked at the Dodgers, they were talking about this, this one, those four center. Yeah, they, they look, and then they said, look, this is an older roster.
you know, when you look at the people on that roster, did you have that doubt? But, but, but for the one game, for the one game, man. Yeah, because you got it because you got to look at how this series was shaping up. All of these games has been closed. Yep, but it's been very close and it's been that you have pictures that has been pitching on both sides great that people can't hit. So, no, no, what? Toe up the dude in the second game. Well, no, see, see what I'm saying is the games has been close, right? Wiz.
our best pitcher. Oh, they knocked him out in the first. Yeah. The motor was cruising till he got the Jake Bowers. Exactly. Jake Bowers got him out the game. It wasn't that the Bruce was hitting them. What is your talking about? Yamamoto only only play like two or three any. That's because Jake Bowers early. It's a nine any game. But his pitch count is high, DJ. And that's what takes a good pitcher out the game is no, he's talking about he cruising. You can't be cruising if you only play.
If you if you go at this level, if you go one, two, three innings, you go one, two, three innings. It's different than a regular season game where they don't just let you go. No, we go into the bullpen. You go into the bullpen. That's not true because he did that the day before with snail. And what happened? No, but look at that's not that's not true. He made a mistake with snail because he after five should have took him out. He should have took him out. But he was cruising. And like I told Kamani yesterday,
I said, whenever the brewers see a pitcher two or three times within that, within that same thing, yeah, they go and that's what and that's what that's what happened to the Wiz because if you look at every time, who? The Miz. Miz, Wiz, same, same difference. Tomato tomorrow. He fell down the road. He fell down the road. No, but if you look at it, what happened to him?
His pitch count was so high. It was like it was in the 80s and the third in it or something like 34 but he but he but he was until He when he came back out for the fifth. Yeah, who one two three four Yeah, who snail? Yeah, and what else now went into like the seventh or eighth in it. No, it wasn't that deep. What's that deep? When they started tagging him he was like in the six or seven in it was it was in the fifth inning they started tagging
And then and then start well, they did it wasn't as much as it was like I said his pitch count for Yamamoto went up It was the same thing. I would have said I was surprised when he came back out Yeah, I'm like you need to go to the bullpen man because they didn't figure it out. So I'm just saying and then and at this level of Baseball if you mess it up in the second inning you coming out, right?
Because your margins of errors you I mean that's what miss did three. Yeah, I don't know if he's had a game where he's gotten a win What since August he did six in Yeah, but they started but they started tagging in the fifth bro. No No, he had that home run in the six and then he had to back to back home run all in the six. I know but
They started hitting him on the face because they was getting on base. He just no, they wouldn't he wouldn't he wouldn't he wouldn't he wouldn't put it back in. Yeah, it was the he gave up and then I said this to start the program. Just listen. I know what I'm talking about. You don't know what you're talking about. You wet behind your ears. All I'm all I'm saying is that at this level.
And I'm gonna tell you Murphy Murphy me said no they give me a reason. Yeah. Give me a reason to snatch it. He be looking cuz he was like are you gonna throw some spikes? Here we go. Yeah, I don't know if somebody can explain. You really usually don't look shook. He lost. But he look he look he look real. Yeah.
throw strikes and then though you got your catcher, that's like bro. That's right. Calm down. He snatched the starting pitcher after the first. Right. Because people are kind of thinking it could be a bullpen game. All I'm saying is that and these guys are so good at this level, they'll figure you out by the second time around.
You know, that's the thing with Miz, right? They figured out this fast baller. Then if you're not throwing strikes, and what I mean by throwing strikes where either people are swinging or you getting the ball past them.
after a while they wait because they just keep following you. I was saying following you off. I told actually it was Kamani. I told Kamani after we won game one. I said game two needs to be played like it's game seven because we can't mess around and have a split with three straight games in LA. And then after that, I was like every game is a must win. And I thought that they would at least split a game.
Here, you know in the first game just because again, we're going on paper with games. That's why we play right but You had two of the best pitchers in baseball, right? So I figured let and again, yeah Yamamoto That's Jake Bowers. That is Jake Bowers because because had he just struck Jake Bowers out of three pitches. He's still pitching. He's still pitching so
And and and and and that's what it was amazing because all the baseball people talked about that was one of the greatest at bats. Oh, yeah. That was one of the greatest. And he got a walk. Hey, but no, check this out. But then he did it again the day before and got that home. Check this out. He he actually did it in August against the Braves. He did it against the Braves that he had them pitching and he went back to back. Adam stand with them. Then they finally.
Pitch to pitch and he hit a home run. So he did this in August and he's the brain and he did it against the Padres series before against a date closer the hand the hand eye contact that this guy has is amazing back to back day. That was amazing. That's what the Padres had to miss. Right. They just ran up his pitch count. Right. And I don't care how good you are. Right. If you throw it he
You're going to get tired. Right. Your velocity shows slows down. Again, let me think. Some people don't like smoke, but I really like the idea where they say like you throw them through two hard fastballs and then throw them a change up because they geared themselves for the fastball because it's a mind game. But you really got a man. You got to throw strikes. Don't be cute. See, but he only got I think he only got like three pitches in his bag. I think it's like a sinker. Most pictures only have about no, no, no. Because what's the name got?
Well that's the exception. Freddy got like five. Festival Freddy? Yup. It got five pitches. Wouldn't that be ironic that we get the giveaways? I was just telling somebody that if we if we do play to raise they should do we should do uh what the the uh uh Cubbies did to him last year. Remember when he was at Wrigley and they said
pretty. Oh man, he was so shook. He gave up run after run. You know who we haven't referenced? Willie Adams. Now, we we don't got to and I said that a month ago. No, but what I'm saying is that he we I thought, oh man, because he was the best player on the team and I thought, oh man, we have. No, he was.
I don't think people consider him better than Yellich at that time. Yellich is on the downside, man. I'm just saying, yeah, now we see that now, but I'm saying at that time. What? When they brought him in? I think they saw the younger talent. Yeah. And they figured, like, OK, we can lose him. Yeah. But people kept saying, oh, man, all last year, never heard him in a broadcast. All this year, never heard him in a broadcast. Now, they did mention some other people like Hater.
We need to never be meant I hate it dude cuz he only had one pitch in his bag. Yeah, but he was one of the best. He was one of the best. Yeah, exactly. He used to show. Hmm. Raleigh fingers. I haven't seen him. No, Raleigh was a monster. No, who was that cat that we got from Kansas City? Yeah. Oh.
the picture I would go I would uh Hey, hold on cuz he posted cuz he posted be on the mic But Dbo came in here and asked us who was the greatest who we think was the greatest? Yeah, he's always picture and history Ben seats and then somebody says he's was a monster and then they said Riley fingers I remember Ben but Ben see same ain't better than the mix. Oh, he was Corbyn burns. No, he was
He was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was a top, but he was
that is really effective because slider. Yeah, but that slider is not effective because they hit him off the sliders. No, they don't. Yes, they do. Look at him. He throw a 95 mile an hour slider. People don't get that. They not.
the slider for ground boss. That's how they get in there. They hit the basketball when he don't. We run we run it long. Yeah, we can we don't fight about it. Are you with me? Yeah, because it's Friday. Yeah, we're in the barber chair right now.
if he hot we gonna roll with good morning good morning and welcome back welcome back it's free flow Friday the day after the night before that's right the brewers are in the world series and but then we gotta wait a whole week I'm good with that all week you know why but let me because now we get to rest you know I mean because the baseball they play every day
you know, and the Brewers had a tough stretch in September where they play like what? 20 days and 20 games in like 24 days. Are you worried about rust? No. I'm not worried about no rust. I am. Because when you the best, you the best. It don't matter what's going on. When you're on fire, you want to stay rolling because, you know, taking those breaks.
That's what Murphy did at the end of the year. He kept, he didn't rest. He kept enrolling. He kept enrolling. Well, he couldn't stop because one, we didn't have the division or we didn't have the number one seed yet. And two, we were trying to break last year's record of 97. But after we got that buy though, he could have sat everybody. But we didn't get that buy till later because remember the Dodgers had a hundred wins too.
After we got the body, he just kept everybody here and roll it because he wanted to keep, you know, he wanted to see. He's just old school baseball manager. I rock with him. Yeah. I would suggest though that you all watch the Cleveland Tampa series and then just get a sense of what the Brewers might be up against in terms of now Cleveland has a closer.
This dude is a beast man. And they say Tampa Bay is the Brewer's West or East, however you say it. It's two to one. Two to one. Cleveland. And they got a game in Cleveland today if they don't get rained out. Oh, WNBA also starts Sunday. I don't know why they took a whole week off. No, WNBA. Defines. All right, call them to the program.
Good morning, you're there. Good morning, and thank you for taking my call. I did watch the game. I enjoyed it. But this is the way I watch the game. I watched the first, you know, couple of plays. It is just too stressful when things get, you know, whatever. I have to take a break. I don't know how the coaches do it. But anyway, I stop and watch a picture, and then I come back, and I come back, and then I watch.
Well, I knew I just had a gut feeling with all the positive energy and the way our team is going. And I love the way the coach says it's one game at a time. Keep your head down. Play this game. And all this, you know, leave that chatter, chatter, bragging and all that ugliness. Play the game. That's the story.
And I wish we could get our young people. Oh, this is the other thing. And they'd be questioning people. Why can't they ever find someone African-American? They're out there. Oh, you talked about that. And I think this is a fourth thing. You're a journalist. I think it's interesting for everybody. Because sports brings everybody together. Music brings everyone together. And I wish we could impress upon our young people.
Well, I don't know if the old days people been telling you it's all this and it's all that It's a fight again Talk to some men that have been there and you guys when you had What's that show you had a man show? You had a lot of people talking about their experience We need to get that back out there and let the kids know it's not worth it and look at how our Milwaukee police
I think they believe they're the ice, okay? The way that one cop ran around there, they already had him down and he beat him in the head and then he ran over to do something somewhere else. But I guess that young lady kicked one of them in the head, okay? So I'm saying, stop playing around with your life.
But the dude who had his magazine came out and the kid beat him with the magazine Yeah, that's only gonna heighten Tension in terms of the police and their interactions with folks I'm surprised that there are people who fight fight back with the police that that one is always amazing to me, but hey
Like I said, you never know what you'll do when you're in that position, but you know, sometimes, you know, instincts kick in and you know what I'm saying? So you just can't assume what you will do in that position. Carla, thank you for your patience. You're on there. Yeah, my question is, have y'all ever heard about a sorority box that the police have to take out?
Maybe y'all cause you know, slap a claim on the insurance or maybe try to have a asset free due to their action. Have you all ever thought about that? I know you're talking about the surety bond, but I know his lawyer saying they probably got a real good, we're looking at a real good settlement here. Now I don't know if the city's going to slow walk it, but just based on.
was reasonable. And again, they said he had a gun in his pouch. And I know they also say that they was being very belligerent. But if we want to look at it through the eyes of a white man, isn't that his constitutional right if you want to be belligerent? Yeah, I mean, especially everybody's, especially, you know, people.
people be talking about, you know, you can't be cussing and all that, but that's that's your first amendment, right? You could you could cuss. Yeah, you could say you could say whatever you you you want when you you frustrated and you telling somebody back up off me, you know, I just think that people have to realize that for every action, there is a reaction. Right. But but and that might be a response to your belligerence will right certainly come into play. Well, the thing is
That should be for everybody so you can't be can choose what's good for one and good for the other So if so if they feel they can do that Maybe they mouse can pay what up with a lawsuit and maybe you know Maybe they should try to be ratchet with the law and freeze all they have sex Well, they have qualified immunity Okay, well, what about work? I know there was a fan for every law. There's a loophole. It just take a good attorney to find it out
You know what, Al, and this is kind of on the side, but it's related. That brother who was killed by the security folks down at the Hyatt, is that one of the most, is that one of the quickest settlements? They went down in March for two days. By the end of the week, they had a settlement, right? Because the last thing the Hyatt wanted attached to their brand is that they're killing people.
at their hotels and i'm telling you man because i kept going wow we we ain't had another march i went down for one of them there were some folks that that thought and then my last question to you is why is it when uh a black person does something either he did this or he had a a bad rap record but when the white dude pulled out his ai-15 or butchered night he gives a whopper with cheese large fry and a Pepsi
And they ask them how his day is going. Oh, I can tell you, I can tell you why it's America. All right. Well, we don't need that. It's America. That's the whole piece. You know, when you were talking about that's why when they were trying to get you off us off a critical race theory, we need to understand that race is baked all through our criminal justice system. Right. And so now when people say, well, why is that the case? And everybody's saying what it should be.
But we also know the reality of what is, you know, like, yeah, you have a constitutional right to, as long as you're not resisting, you have a constitutional right to, to cuss at a cop. I wouldn't suggest a black male do it. Right. You know, you got the constitutional right to do it. Now, you know, there's some people out there, they're going to do it. They said, is George with planning something special? I asked that question. Would you want a world series?
championship or would you want the burger you get for 12 straight wins? Carla, welcome to the program. Hello. Good morning. Good morning, you on there. Hey, good morning. Hey, uh, uh, I want to make a new, uh, just a small, uh, response to DJ about that layoff, you know, and that sometimes that goes both ways, you know, you just, you know, that low off, you know, oh, not in a rusty.
You know, I get what you say, DJ, but you know, sometime that goes both ways, you know, because right now they play good baseball. And I watched every game on pins and needles and there's not, nobody thought that the Brewers were sweet to Dodgers. I don't think, you know, I think, except for brother Ryder, I think Monday, Ryder said, if I'm not mistaken, he said, oh yeah, the Brewers got a chance to,
Take all four games, you know, when he was talking to Keith on the radio say it that I thought I heard right I'll say that But uh, yeah, man, I was uh, when a tiny hit that three-round home run I was like, oh, okay, right who's pitching the ball Cuz miss I
I expected tomorrow. Yeah, today that would be today. That's that's what I was thinking because, you know, you can get baseball, man. What when the Brewers beat the Mariners twenty two was a twenty two. Nothing when Steph hit a great, great shot. That's just what you expect from a great player. So that's just what I expected from from him. I just thought that it would be nice. I was shocked when Barry was hit a home run. I thought it was it was going to ignite the rest of the team. It did not.
No, because they didn't score after that. That was it. They thought it was. And then I just thought four runs was going to be hard to overcome. And I was right. But we just had six. Yeah. But we just had six the day before. Yeah. But she go four zero. It was six. Four zero second inning, man. That's a little, ooh, you think it, ooh, it's going to be tough. But I think we called her have one more comedy. I'm sorry. Thank you.
Yeah, real real quick, um, I don't know. I don't know. I'm slipping my mind. Oh, this is for keeper, uh, uh, brother Devo. You remember, you was talking about like great pictures. Did y'all remember Ted, if I could say his name, Teddy? Yeah. Yeah. Remember him? Yeah. He was pretty good, man. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I'm gonna hang up and listen to you guys. That was great weekend. Yeah, he too. Thank you. Corbin Burns. I remember him. Yeah, Corbin Burns. He was a side young one. Yeah.
Yeah. You know, and again, we only had CC Sabathia for what? Even Brandon Woodrow, he won the Cy Young too. Until the injuries, right? Yeah. Injuries. Yeah. But yeah, with CC and Zach Grinke, we got them on trades. Right. That's the guy from Kansas City. Yep, he from Kansas City. What about Raleigh? I know we mentioned him. Raleigh, I think. See, I don't remember him, but I know that I know his thing is on the on the stadium. How far a team goes that that that
That has to say something for the well, yeah People miss when he played in Oakland and how dominant a pitcher he was in Oakland and then when the Brewers got them They pulled them to the bullpen. You know, he became the closing. Okay, but he was oh man that that the Oakland A's team with Reggie Jackson Gene tennis, who's the guy we got here? Oh man, that team was so good
and even turn this into the stripper. OK, who bubbles? Right. I will say for this short amount of time, C.C. was with us. He changed the trajectory of our whole organization. When we got, first of all, it was it was almost impossible to even fathom that we could even get a player like that. He was so young. Yeah. And then when he all the favor.
And then when he came, he just dominated. I mean, he was he was doing complete games like it was like it was regular. And so he brought us to the playoffs for the first time in a long time. And then ever since then, we just every other year or so, we will make the playoffs until, you know, we got counsel and then it just been very consistent. How you think? Oh, Craig is feeling these days.
Oh, that's Ben and Dick Arnold this morning. Oh, that's Ben and Dick Arnold. But we, but if he were to stay with us, we would have never been there. Okay. And, and he's up there like with Willie Adamus. We don't talk about him. Yeah. It ain't like he missed. That's Ben and Dick Arnold. Yeah. Well, you know, it's his business. Call him up to the program. Good morning, UNL. Good morning, guys. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. It's a great day to be in Milwaukee. Yes, it is.
Every day is a great day to be in Milwaukee, right? I'm just I'm waking up and I'm is this heaven or just more I just wanted to bring a little money into the situation here and thank the county executive David Crowley For stepping up and showing some leadership and Helping the paid to keep the brewers in Milwaukee as we remember
Some of our neighbors in Washington County, Nozaki County, and Racine County, they all kept their hands in their pocket when it was time to pay for the Brewer's Stadium. But David Crawley went to Madison, along with leadership from Milwaukee, and we had the Brewer's.
I just want to say remind everybody that I want to do they have a problem paying that little tax now, right? I want to do they have a problem playing that little tax now Right, that's right, you know in terms of and there's always been this whole thing about when you build stadiums and You know the upkeep and who should pay for the stadium? Okay, but when your team runs a championship Mm-hmm like we ain't hearing the complaints about five serve, you know anymore What a championship, you know, and I think
That is I thank you for that man because it and look the Brewers are a state team They're like the Packers the Bucks not so much. I think the Bucks are too. It's not as much But not as much as you see the Brewers not as certainly you see the Packers Packers every place except near Hudson But every place else in the state is green and gold. Oh, I'm sorry
There's a little pocket down in Kenosha that's theirs. Yeah. Yeah. Please remember, please. Remember, please that Milwaukee also saved the Packers in the 30s and in the 50s. And when you're watching the game on Sunday night, think of Milwaukee. No, we don't want anything. Maybe that game was last Sunday. The gold game was last Sunday, right? Yeah, the gold game was last Sunday. Right.
But you know, we got a big game this Sunday night, too. Every game is big now. But you know, a lot of people would be the Akron Packers if it were not for Milwaukee. Yeah, because and they used to play at County Stadium. They did. Yeah, we know those were the moves. That was that was for the money. That was in order for the Packers to stay fiscally alive. Yeah. And you know what was tough, though? Was the blackouts? Mm hmm.
Remember, you had to have a sell out what 48 hours before the game in order for you to get it locally. But the cool thing about Milwaukee being so far from Green Bay, that didn't apply. But when they played those three games at County Stadium, it really didn't. The Packers were saying that, you know, look, the money that it cost to bring all the operation down the County Stadium, right? It just, just do a game where it's for Milwaukee folks. And because of God, my God daughter.
and her guy went up for it and then they came back for the watch party. Yeah, I saw that. They had a man to be young. My sister went to the gang. If you run into DC, just say a thank you, please. All right. Thank you. All right. You're listening to Community Voice. That's right. It's the day after the night before. Did we make the New York Times? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. But you know what you're hearing now is not so much how they're talking about how much the brewer's won.
but then now they're beginning to talk about how old the Dodgers are. But I'm gonna tell you what I heard this morning and I heard you kind of do this comparison. They're talking about the salaries and so forth and you know what this team is paying out and then this team over here. I like the way the coach said it best. He said you got Hall of Famers and then over here we got Gamers. Yeah that's right. Yeah and you could
But, you know, we'll talk about we get back because right. I'll raise something that I think is real interesting because they are negotiating the new connect a collective bargaining agreement. Let's talk about one of those things in terms of small market teams and what the big market teams want to see happen. You listen to community voice. We're going to take a quick break. We'll be right back. All right. Welcome back. And now it's time for the protege's perspective. Caller will get you right after the perspective. Go ahead. How many quotes?
and Bible verses have been misinterpreted over the years. Many. How many times have you or others recited and consumed words where the meaning was still lost? Many. Oftentimes, it isn't that our interpretation is wrong. It's that we haven't fully meditated on the words and allow them to flow within our spirit of comprehension and understanding. Different strokes for different folks.
a saying that is rarely, if ever misunderstood. That phrase can be tied to one's ability to understand and do things in their own way. In a phrase that I like to always use, there's more than one way to cook chicken. Another phrase that highlights differences while still being able to achieve the desired result. One biblical verse that I've heard all my life
yet the interpretation was never fully dissected to me until I was speaking with an individual, was be fruitful and multiply. The complete meaning and impact of this hits me when I was discussing the importance of being a positive influence to you. In mid-sentence, it came to me and it fulfilled my understanding of this verse in phrase.
In my surface level thoughts of be fruitful and multiply, I just like many others thought this only had something to do with creating a family and having children. This portion is correct, but it should not stop there. We also have an obligation to exude Christlike behavior and enlighten others through our actions and the Word of God. We often just stop at creation.
or sex, but that verse is much more than that. Through our willingness to be Christlike in words and deeds, this brings about the essence to be fruitful. And by that, we can enlighten and attract others, which creates the ability to multiply. How many more verses and phrases need dissected to be a little bit more?
How many phrases and verses have we left on a minimal understanding's door? Greater impact comes through a deeper understanding of what is spoken to you through your mind, body, and spirit, and by enacting that that understanding will help your impact and it will be much deeper.
I just kept thinking of a bubba. How many different ways you can cook shrimp? So the same thing. How many different ways you can cook chicken? Let's see. Baked. Rotisserie, baked. Rotisserie. You got rotisserie. Grilled. Baked. Grilled. Barbecue. Oh yeah, that'll fall on the grill. Well, not necessarily. Really? You cooking any other?
That's bait. Yeah, that's bait. With barbecue sauce on it? That's baked chicken with barbecue sauce. Then there's barbecue chicken. But it's not how you do it, man. Is what? No, no, he... Okay. No, he's not. What makes barbecue chicken barbecue chicken? You put the barbecue sauce on it. Okay, so he just said putting it in the oven with the sauce on it would make it barbecue chicken. You said no.
I mean, I guess you I guess you ain't right, brother. Who ain't right? Right. Yeah. Get me. You just said no. It's more than one way to cook chicken. We just said that you bake it. We said that you fry it. We said that you grill it. We said that you rotisserie. We said that boiler adding adding barbecue sauce to it. It's not how you cook.
No, it ain't me. Hey, Rob, if you listen, you're the cook. Oh, somebody smoked. Yeah. Smoked. Smoked. Deep fry. There you go. Deep fry. Fry. Oh, wait, let's start off with fry. Let's just start it with fry. I said fry. All right. Y'all don't listen. Oven fry. Oven fry. Air fry. Air fry. Either way.
We'd be misinterpreting all of these verses and these phrases and we got to take a deeper dive into them so we can get a deeper meaning and then we can be able to have a greater impact on others. Speaking of which, a great segue. I will be at the historic Antioch Missionary Baptist Church this Sunday as their 80th anniversary speaker. I am honored to get right there on the corner. I think it's like 22nd of Congress. So hey, love for you joining us starting 11 o'clock. Okay.
and I was telling right now I can preach as long as I won't because the Packers don't play until seven. As I take my seat for the fifth time, call a welcome to the program. I see somebody walking on their hand. Which will be me? It bests. Call him. Good morning. Chalewa, Ms. Bacar. Good morning. What's up, brother? My brothers, how are you fellas doing in there? All right, you're doing all right, bro.
I'm gonna say this, I miss being in the crowd, but I've been consumed with another legal matter. Anyway, I concerned about the Tiffany barrage on Crowley. And I think Crowley's messaging needs to counter what he's doing.
You know after watching the game last night You see how people can come together around sports But this state and this country is so divided That I really think Crowley needs to Add something to that regard to his messaging is that Tiffany is a divider and he's
This man is Poisoning this state with the division that he's gotten from the orange fungus and That needs to be called out You know with with his commercials, you know, he is Right there
He's not even on the edge. He is full blown into, you know, these racial overtones and all this stuff. And. Hey, Craig, could you could you hold on? We got to we got to take a quick break. Sure. Go right ahead. All right. This is Community Voice. I'm Devon Jones, DJ to Prodigy here with Keith, and we will be right back.
All right, welcome back Craig you got three minutes Yeah, you got two minutes and 30 seconds now And back to another break
And you know Crowley needs to counter that somehow because it's clear evident every commercial he shows it's like
He's just dividing just like his fearless orange crush leader. Are you surprised at that? No, but it needs to be called out. The imagery. The imagery is what's going to. You know, I mean, this thing and I hate to have to repeat it, but this thing he got him on the radio. I mean, on TV saying, I'm a I'm an accomplice. I mean, that's a heavy hitter right there, man. And he got a.
he got to find a way to counter that with, you know, this division that has been happening because this, this place is on the cusp of falling off the cliff. The state of Wisconsin, if it wasn't for the Boers, you know, this man, this, this person with, you know, this stokingness, this division and this hatred, you know, it is just, it is, it is crippling this country. And, and it's about time that
people who are running for these offices start pointing it out. And that's what Crawley needs to do is that a person like Tiffany is doing nothing but bringing this place down. He's going to continue to bring down the state of Wisconsin if he gets into that office. So Craig, answer me this question. Is it about bringing people together in unity or is it about winning? Both.
So you win when I don't have so so then so then I don't I don't think it can be both because you have to do one and One that they have always done and one with is so in that division You know we reaching this 250 year milestone and they still haven't figured out how to bring about a more perfect union
It's because of all this division that's been part of a foundation. And people need to start recognizing that, that, you know, we've been going backwards from the beginning. And he wanted to take you even farther back, like this, this orange person that is running things and constantly talking about going backwards. How can you move forward? I look at China man, China out here, building new cities and all kinds of development that they're doing.
even using recycled plastic to put down infrastructure in the streets. I mean, you know, the things that these other countries are doing that was, I mean, the U.S. is sitting back here wasting time with all of this ignorant nonsense because it is person who was in the office running, you know, I mean, putting out, putting out poison and it's, it's poison in the whole country. And we got somebody who wants this office, the executive office here in this state.
that is poisoning part of that poison in this state? I don't know when we've ever not been divided. I think we need to also take it taken. Well, I mean, I think it's democracy and and and and let me do it from the other people's position. They feel as strongly about their position as you feel about your position.
And we're equally divided here in this state. So when it comes down to is going to come down to turnout, the question becomes, you know, will that motivate people to turn out on the Republican side, right? Or will it depress people on the Democratic side for going out the vote? But the level of anger that's in this country right now, I don't know if you heard yesterday. Tom Tiffany is not using red signs. Normally, Republicans will use red signs.
They're doing blue signs. I didn't even know if you listen to Brian Styles commercials, you wouldn't know he was a Republican because all I can work across the aisle. Back in the office. Right. But what I'm saying is that the Republican brand is toxic because of who's at the top of that brand. Absolutely. Absolutely. And they think they also buy, but we also don't. It doesn't matter.
What color that they use either? I mean we all know about messaging and imagery But we know what size you want just by how you've been talking no, but but if I and remember we deal with a lot of low information voters and That subliminal messaging is important. I'll do I can do this in 30 seconds watch commercials make it 15 watch commercials see what the dominant color is of their product
and see what people are wearing in that commercial because it puts in your mind. So when you see blue, you think Democrat, right? So then there'll be some people I'm going to vote for him. He's blue. It's that simple. Craig, man, appreciate you, man. You need to get back up in here. I want to get back. I got to finish this. I got to finish this filing up now. All right. You see, you know, it's time for them to be held accountable. It's just that simple across the board. Appreciate you family.
You listen. You already said it. You look. What the hell going on here, man? You listen to community voice. We got to put some more oil up in. And we'll be right back. If you guys see that Saturday Night Live Skip where the singers come out and they're supposed to be singing these songs and they never and so they just try to anticipate what the other person is saying.
Yeah, we'll take a quick break. And let me just kind of finish up about messaging. Messaging is not always avert. Messaging is also subtle, right? It can be suggestive, right? Remember I told you all about, and Michelle tells you about trigger words. There's certain words that trigger a certain reaction. And regardless of
you know who you are if you're just really thinking and you doing it really quick and you go oh blue that means but I agree with Craig I mean not Craig I agree with George George said we got to be smarter you know I'm saying than that you have to know who these individuals are and yeah we always talk about the low information voters and things of that nation but at some point that has to insult
of voters intelligence, you know, you can't just say I'm a low information uh individual uh and and think that you doing this is what's going to get you across the line if you're low information i'm not going to describe you as that but when i'm putting together a campaign strategy i understand there's a different strategy for high context voters as opposed to low context voters i've been voting since i was 18 so i know
Who is what? You had context. You're not a low information voter. Right, right, right. Like Pukim are low information voters because Pukim don't follow it. I'm always the exception to the rule. I'm always the exception to the rule. Not always. But what I'm saying is that we, as a group that want to be taken seriously, we can't just be bamboozled.
We just can't be bamboozled. We're not worthy. We're not worthy. Tell me how I can get more of your presence. More wisdom, one quake. It starts with the letter L. It starts with the letter L. Listen. More wisdom, one quake. Give us the wisdom. Listen. That's right. We are so honored to be joined in studio by the man.
wisdom himself. It was a movie where he was like, it's an honor for you to meet me. Oh, that was Dragonfly. Oh, it's an honor for you to meet me. I am your sensei. Dragonfly John. Oh, yeah. That's cool. That's cool. Welcome to the program. Good morning. You're in there. Yeah, brother.
here, you do the pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros and pros
and part of the best reliever ever, Riley Chambers. And DJ, if you ain't seen him booing, then they usually like to see things that happened before you were born. And then Monday couple, next week, come back and tell us what you think. I'll definitely pick him up. Because like I said, I know his name because when you go to, I still call him Miller Park, but it's American family. He wanted those people.
you know, around that ring. So, I know that he was. Oh, he was a beast. Sal Bando. Sal Bando. You know, you can't have your name on that and not be a beast. So, yeah. No, I was talking about who came from the Oakland A's. Oh, yeah. Uh they had uh three. They won, I think, three in a row. Vita Blue. Reggie Jackson. Reggie Jackson, Gene Tennis. Uh who I just said, Sal Bando, you know, kind of like that. Yeah.
Yeah, that that and and and my guy just now, you know, it's funny because MC Hammer was a VP for the Oakland A's. You thought I was a bad boy, yeah. Bad boy, then he ended up as a VP. Wow. Yep. And I watched the documentary about the 82 Brewers. I think I just watched it this morning. I think that would be motivational for this team. But we don't want the same result.
The day that Keith was talking about, we had a celebration here in Milwaukee. I was 13. And we had a celebration like we won for a series. Yeah, they got it. They got it. They lost. But that's partly because, wasn't the Brewers like within the first five years of them even being a franchise? I think that has something to do with it. No, they had been here. They had been here for more than a decade.
But they were at that time, there were only four teams that went to the playoffs. If you didn't win your division, you didn't go. And they were winning 90 games for four years in a row. So when did they move? Because remember, it was the Milwaukee Braves. 69. Oh, so they came here in 69. Yeah. So they left. No, no. The Brewers are the former Seattle pilots.
The Braves left, what, 66? And went to it. Yeah, round, round it. Yeah. Man, it was like one of the worst days of my life. So the Brewers wasn't an expansion team? No. They were a team that moved from Seattle. And then the original Braves came from Boston. Yep. That's where Babe Ruth ended his career with the Boston Braves.
Yeah, okay. And I wanted to say my condolences to the Walker family. It's very ironic that Miss Naomi Walker, who was probably one of Mr. Beckham's right-hand person during his 60 years of teaching people like me baseball, where I was able to spend 30-some years of my life playing and coaching baseball. And she was so dedicated for 40 years. She was just a support system, a president.
from the league. Her husband was a brilliant coach who coached not only basketball but baseball. And so this family poured so much into the community and the irony of the brewers making it to the World Series, the day that her life is being celebrated actually in about two hours. It is really heavy for me today because she was really just a beautiful spirit and human being. So I have to say that today.
I think this blue team plays the game the way, I'm sure Mr. Beckman is looking down and loving it. And he probably sitting there talking baseball with Bob Uker. And just to y'all's point, all y'all had some really good points about, you know, how the blue has got here. And it is definition of baseball. Unlike football or basketball, the most challenging individual usually wins.
If you got somebody like Jordan or LeBron, he can propel you. For baseball, it don't matter if he tall, short. It's the cleanest person's game. It don't matter how strong you are. That's why women, for example, in the stories, they happen to be very biased. I always went back to when this man was 170 pounds, he was here. He won three NDPs. He won three NDPs. He won three NDPs. Yep. Yep. I was really excited.
I know we gotta go. I was really excited. Appreciate you, man. I was really excited. We went to the National League because the way they played baseball in the National League was very different than how they played in the American League. And I didn't understand that, oh, they get to have a DH, but over here, the pitchers, they had to hit. I didn't like that. The American League was pitching and home runs. You listen to Community Voice. Gonna take a break. We'll be right back.
I welcome that call and welcome to the program. Good morning. You on there? Thank you again for taking my call. DJ once again, excellent. And it gave me an opportunity to rethink when I called in before when I mentioned the young lady that kicked the police officer in the head. I don't want to ever project. Do harm. We need our police officer, but we also need them to realize. Three people with respect.
and do your job. And I think it's bad when the union person come on and say what they did was right. What he should be saying is that if we look into it, look at the tape and we'll get back to you. Don't condone wrong because you'll make us take a different perspective on what you're doing in the profession that you're in. Keep doing your perspective because you're an old soul.
It's insulted a well-educated person. And in his speech, reach the well-educated and the uneducated if he knows what he's doing. Thank you and have a great day. Thank you. I just want to give a shout out to our YouTube listeners and our Facebook.
uh, live listens as well as the people that I was listening to on the radio. My bad for saying that at the end of the program, but you know, we all just appreciate the engagement and George, I see what you said and I'm going to retort by saying, show your right. Show your right. How do you, how do you live with you? How do you live with you? Man, it's hard. If I was doing any better, I wouldn't stand it. Oh man.
Future so bright, need shades. I'm so far ahead of my time. I'm about to start another life. Look behind you. I'm about to pass you twice. I was, uh, Nikki Giovanni was interviewing Muhammad Ali and he was talking to you. You like, yeah, you like that. You like that your domain kind of hold in the hate because it's, you know, it's hate is nation. See, yeah.
You need the only ones that got the line. You feel me, Clark? You know, you're going to let my hand fall down. All right. So be some leather. No, you know what? The word play. The word play. I like the word play. I got a lot of word play in me. So we'll recognize real, you dig? So yeah. Stop hating Keith. Really? Yeah. So you're going to tell me.
I'm gonna have to change my nature. I haven't changed my very DNA. Hey, that is an important ingredient for growth. What's that, Hayton? No, changing your nature. Well, you know, when Keith came out the womb, he came out with his arms folded. Oh, man. I can't came out like...
You know something wrong when I ain't hating, right? It's wrong with you. That's that build with it. It's just a lovely day. A lovely day. You know, and I get so frustrated with people out here because a whole lot of y'all are haters. Whole, whole lot of y'all. I ain't by myself. Nah.
I ain't by myself, right? You know what they say on Dave Chappelle? Hey, hey, hey, hey, and he was like clap for me. He was like simple and clap when they introduced Buck Nasty. You're right. He looked around, clap for me. I was having a moment though last week speaking to Dave Chappelle where I wanted to go into the, what do they call it, the people draft.
I wanted to be traded. I wanted to be traded. They dropped the M&M. Yeah. And he traded Tiger Woods. Yeah. The one was called the delegation or something. Yeah. It was like the draft, the race draft or something. Man. And speak, man, Eminem was cold. Yeah, he the truth.
Workplay is amazing. That's what I listen to. You know, I just give credit where credit is due. I think we're so, you know, Craig was talking about how divided we are. We're so racialized in this country that we'll sit up and we'll miss a whole lot because, you know, we focus it in on race, which is going to be interesting because how many people are going to stay at home in Florida who would vote Republican because they just can't see themselves voting for a black man?
I mean, that's good for the Democrats. Well, not really. Yeah, it is. What? What if they don't? The black dude is a Republican. Oh, he's a Republican. Yeah, he tripped. Oh, oh, oh. Oh, you're talking about, you're talking about. Byron. Yeah, Byron. Yeah, yeah. He's a home. Not our Byron. Oh, not our Byron. Not Beesky. We know the difference. Like, like George said, we can't, we can't, we can't be that gullible. We know who we talking about. Our Byron, he a real. Hey, but did you see that one politician in Detroit?
They was talking to her and you know, they was asking her questions. You know, if you get an office, then what are you playing on doing? She looked at the camera and said firing every Republican. And then so she was like, you know, get him out of there because I don't like them. And you know, some Republicans are cool, but I don't like them. So they was looking at her like, you really said this, but.
It's about time, just like you said, but it's what really is what people actually do. What? Yeah, it is. Yeah. And and just and I mean, because the Republicans is coming like like they some hood cats and they they just get to say whatever and they in it to win it job. So stop clutching your pearls. So we need to get in it to win. Exactly. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah.
Exactly, but don't don't get mad. They the one you ain't throwing back. So hey, so what was that commercial? Don't get mad. Get glad. Mm-hmm. Oh, as my oh as the one said, don't boo, boo. Yeah. All right. Go pack go. Go pack go. Go pack go. All right. I'm and I'm taking the Valkyries. I know for those folks out there and look at the reason man, I know it's a lot of cow cowgirl fans out there, you know, so this this
