Good morning, welcome. I can't hear myself. Good morning, welcome to Community Voice. I still can't hear myself, man. I hear you. Man, open your ears, brother. Yeah, you don't gotta hear yourself. Just talk. Anybody got a cue to it? We know you won't. Anybody got a cue to it? We know you won't. When you come on and then people looking at you, that means you talking and we hear you. But the vast majority of people can't see us. It don't matter. We in the room together.

Check, check. There we go. Turn me up over here, man. Turn up your head. Hey, what did they spell say? Turn them. We're the only program that just start with shenanigans. Just pure shenanigans. Sorry, Miss Jackson. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Hey, speaking of Little Richard. I watched, uh, Why Do Fools Fall In Love?

It's a funny Frankie. Yeah, Frankie live and little Richard's in it. He plays himself. Really? Yeah, plays himself. And then I don't I haven't saw it in years. Oh, I had really paid. I forgot he was in it and because he's testified because I guess him and Frankie Lyman were friends when they were young with the court. Yeah, when they went to court. So there's little Richard and then they had what's this do Nunez

Pretty Ricky, what they call him. He play young little Richard. Oh, yeah. It was an interesting movie. And you know, Biblical Fox was great. Hally. Huh? Was it Hally? Was it Hally Berry? Yeah. And was it Leera Shah? Yeah. Thanks for that movie. Oh, man, it was actually a good movie. I forgot. The Three Wives. Yeah, the Three Wives. Wow, you brought back memories. Yeah.

Good morning, DJ. Good morning, ready for conversation and engagement. Ready for the world. What's happening, Clark Kent? Hey, man, what's you, bro? Apostle. Bishop. Apostle. Chairman of the board. Hey, man, what's that? Clark had his applesauce today. He had his oatmeal today, man. We felt that one. We felt that one these last couple weeks. The breakfast of the champions is weedy-sweet. Weedy-head is weedy.

Last couple weeks he been whispering through the text And we have we had a whisper text Yeah, we do whisper text man Well, let me you know what speaking of Texas's This guy Caleb Flynn former American Idol contestant, I don't know if y'all

Aware of the case I said shoot article and Okay, so He's 40 he's having a relationship with a 24 year old outside of his marriage and He is currently up for murder for killing his wife Whoa, he faked a home invasion

I went to Catholic school and back back in the day, those who were in Catholic school, remember the nuns would always threaten you with this is going on your permanent record. This is going on your permanent record. A hundred thousand text messages. A hundred thousand. That's a lot of text. Well, how do you? A hundred thousand text messages. Wait a minute. Because it gets better. It gets better. Now he fakes a home invasion. Someone comes in, shoots his wife in the bed.

But in the two years they had a two-year relationship They're exchanging as he just pointed out hundreds of thousands of text messages. Okay Your permanent record There's one particular text that they were in court yesterday Where he said I was basically up all night thinking of different ways to kill her

What's wrong with you? You text that to somebody? Some people. Can't do wrong. No, can't do wrong right. Come on now. What's wrong with you? He was up all night. And when you put it in writing, you up all night, figured out ways to kill her. And what's so crazy, even if you try to erase it, it's still. It's on your permanent record.

Ask Kwame kill Patrick. Now this was back in 2000 before we even had where, you know, they were doing the pagers and he thought all the messages, he thought he had deleted them and they were able to go in and pull up anybody who works in a corporation or work for government. No, you can lose your emails, right? Going and automatically accidentally delete your emails. You call it and say, give me the date and time. They just want to make it easy because they really go in, right? Date and time.

They restore. I had one time I accidentally deleted all my email messages. I gave them the date around the time that I did it. They restored 15,000 emails. Yeah. Yeah. Because in reality, it's really on the cloud. Right. It's really stored. And then backed up data. Backed up data. Yeah. So if you came finding on the cloud and then go to that data and they can pull it there. So that's why police, when people try to

They'll put something on the computer, but then try to erase it from the... You know what I'm talking about? The browser? Yeah. So when you try to erase it from there, they can still go in and pull it from your cloud and from that database, man. I mean, just because you clear your history, don't mean your history is clear. It doesn't mean that it's not out there, that part. What was the dude was saying, something like they was going to grab him, he said, man, go erase my search history.

Cuz to be told we have gone to some sites, you know out of curiosity out of curiosity He must not have that much money Because to go like just just get a divorce It ain't that simple because once you wait wait wait once you once again

getting married is a contract. I know that. That's why I said he must be broke. No, no, no. It's it's it's if he was broke, you go and get the divorce. Exactly. Because if you have the money, because then you ain't got nothing to go back to. No. If you had the money, she's taking it. She's great. You see it. But you only half. No. Well, half it depends on the half she gets. Yeah. And then

You can be for special support for years to come. So it's more than just paying this one time. They had a song back in the 60s. Cheaper to keep. I was just about to say. I was just about to say. But because not in jail. But in reality, you have to know who you are married. That divorce would have been easier than this life being over. I mean, don't Texas got the death penalty? Yeah, I compare it to. Yeah, but he's in Ohio.

Oh, but he life without possibility parole. Yeah. So, you know, compared to what he's that's cheaper. Divorce is cheaper than that. You, you, you are 110% in the affair. Yeah. But, you know, now it turns into something else. And so when I pulled up, they gave you gave some tips and I didn't realize this until I got a I got an email, a text message from my sister where it's encrypted. So that means any history in that.

It's encrypted. It's gone. Remember up on Harlem nights when he said, man, that must be some type of naughty to make you change your religion. Yeah. Well, and that's funny, because when I'm looking at Water Fools Law, I'm looking at Leila Rashad. That was sunshine. She was sunshine. So she plays this very proper.

school teacher. She was she was she was one of the women of the 90s. Yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. So, yeah. I'm just saying, you know, but that among all the other damning, but when you say you up all night trying to figure out ways to kill it, how's it catch people? You go to pull up on your website, how to kill your wife and get away with it. Yeah. He did that.

No, that's what a lot of people do. And they go in and so again, and they were saying with the FBI... How do you clean up blood? How do you clean up blood with no traces? That's dumb. Yeah, that's dumb. But okay, if you're going to do something like that, which I don't suggest you do anything like that. The views and opinions. Again, use somebody else's computer.

Right. Don't use your own computer that is go trace right back to you. Like it's it's in your house in your living room. Right. Hey, can I can I borrow your car? Can I use your computer? Oh, no, no. Can I use your phone? No, no, no. It used to be back in the day. Find a payphone. Right. No, it used to be back in the day. Like, hey.

If you needed a ride or if you needed, you know, they'll call you. Hey, can you come grab me? Oh, sure. I come grab you not knowing what this person has done. So if they did do some now, you are part of it, not knowing that you party to the car. Can I get back to a statement you made earlier? Yes, sir. You don't know. Yeah. Now, as much as people say, you know, man, find out all you can, I'm going to tell you.

You don't know which means find out all you can about the partner that you're getting with, you know, like find out all you can. Well, well, I think that if you if you take your time, you will see.

a little synopsis of a person because a person is always going to send a representative. So what do you mean they always see capping you anyway? Yeah, so, so, well, yeah, they go, they go firing out a little bit about. Well, it's a few. Some of them should have and didn't and just didn't and didn't. I'm just saying, you know,

That's when I, when I sent it in the production meeting, I said, some folks can't do wrong, right? You know, like you, you got, because someone was saying that the FBI now used to look for lawyers. Now they look for computer forensic people, forensic. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That you go in and go through all of that stuff. Well, yeah, that's how all of these gang bangers is getting caught. They so stupid because they putting all this stuff on their Facebook page and they putting their gun. But.

But the FBI, like you said, and police hire people to sit at computers all day and just go through profiles, go through, like if they got you on the list, they going through your social media to see what you posted and they building a case on you. I'm too paranoid to be on shenanigans. Just to be honest.

That's that's what that's that's what keep me away from this dude had this dude had a lot going on is the intoxication of Forbidden fruit mm-hmm, which is firm in it And has I mean it how the Bray works and I know I I got a thousand people out there listening this morning going I'd never do that did I know you out there saying I didn't read the article

Did it ever come out why he wanted to kill it? Yeah, because he didn't want to be one to be with the woman. See, that's dumb. Hey, but just get the divorce and a lot of men think like that, which is crazy. Or, you know, it's a lot of people that are still legally married, but separated. You could have went that route. Yeah. But maybe the girl wouldn't go. Oh, yeah. I mean, you and I don't know what is business. She's going for it anyway. She know you married. Yeah. But it could be doing to do.

But it could be under false pretence because it could be, hey, man, I'mma leave her. They had a hundred thousand text messages, man. But hold on. You don't think one of them said. No. I get it. But what I'm saying is, but I'm not saying that she didn't know. I'm not saying that. That's not what I'm saying. But what I'm saying is he was probably feeding her, telling her. I should have did this so she shouldn't have to hear this conversation.

Hey, Kennedy. Good morning. All right, get away from the radio. All right. No, I mean, but it and that's what people. We all we will say what we will never do until we find ourselves in that situation and then we'll be surprised at what we will do. And people will always tell you sometimes it's not the original sin. It's the cover up. Yeah, I learned that from you. Yeah, it's the cover up.

And I learned that from Richard Nixon. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for your patience. You're in there. Yeah, here's the moral of the story with this is men and some women don't know how to hold.

See, if you come out the door and say, this is what it's going to be, some people might be for it. Some on both sides are very messy. Now, y'all come home smelling like onions and tuna fish and leaving the house clean. Come home smelling funky like raw onions. Y'all don't know how to hold right. That's why you got these busted windows. People got their hair pulled out. Just be honest. Yeah, hey, I'm Mary. Is it what you want to do?

She probably would have been like, okay, cool. But then y'all, y'all giving all these false pretenses. That's why y'all walking around here with, with us on your head and busted windshield. Yeah, you got, you got a factor in though that this was also a 24 year old woman. Brain not fully, you know, what I'm saying is that in her mind.

She really does. She really do believe he loves her and he's going to leave his wife. Steve McNair with the 20 year old. She really did believe he was going to leave his wife. Well, yeah, you know, I have to give you that, but she probably didn't have nobody sees it to really tell her about that. Now they don't listen. You know, because if she probably grew up around a very ungodly woman.

she would have known how to you keep her emotions together and get her to get her bag. You know, a lot of us, you know, and this goes, you know, for things far beyond this, but a lot of us just think I'm different. That's y'all. That ain't me. That's y'all. We accept them over there. Yeah, they go, how many people got addicted saying that, yeah, I can hit it once.

No, you can't. And I think a little more of the story is he probably hit that spot and her nose opened up like a wildfire. You also have forbidden fruit. Forbidden fruit is intoxicated. Yeah. Doing what you should not be doing. That's a thrill. That's a rush. Yeah, it is. You know, I mean, that's what drives it a lot of times. This is something I could do. Ain't no big deal. Oh, man, it was like the story in Black is and Kenya Burr bumps into his daughter.

out and they both high. Right. And he asked her about how she was, she found the weed and she talked about honor weed. He said, you took all the fun out. Where's the danger? Yeah. I ain't supposed to be at this place. You know, I mean, some, some of the places you had to go and buy weed, be some areas that normally I would not be in this area. Right. It's, it's, it's something about walking the line. And when you walk in the line, it's something about okay. It's a thrill. Yeah, because

I don't want to get caught, but it's something about being sneaky. And it's not a good thing, because if you get caught, things can happen. But Al, things go happy. But I do agree that honesty is always the best route.

It's a cliche. It's a cliche, but you know, we always say a hindsight is 20-20 when you just think about it. If you was just upfront right away, it's a lot of things that you could have avoided. Yeah, I respect it more for it. Because most people would be like, well, I don't want you to get divorced because if you get divorced.

It ain't gonna be no money left for me. So just make sure you say my retainer. Yeah. Cause you get divorced, you're gonna take everything. I don't want you to be broke. Cause then I don't want to deal with you. Some people do things like that. No, no, that's true. Cause I've, I've actually heard people say, well, don't, don't leave your partner who you with because if you're cheating on her or him, you'll cheat on me. So I don't want you like that. Right. You know, we just having fun. Well, let me say this. I've already said.

I'm getting one shoe. Can I get a divorce? I'm getting one shoe. One shoe. You know how many pairs of shoes we talking about?

Yeah. Yeah. I want to see you walk around with just one shoe. That's about 50%. I'm taking one shoe. Take the earring back. The earring back. Get them popping those. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I'm doing one shoe. Thank you for that. That was amazing.

I'm going to hit it with a hurt boy. You're going to have one Jordan. That's a six and a half. Yeah, you got one Jordan. But you know what? She might run that back on me because I got the same shoe fetish, right? So I'll be taking one shoe. No, she's going to get you with, she's going to leave the suit coat and take the pants. So all you're going to have is the suit coats hanging up and no pants to go to the shoes. Wait, let me take my.

What about what about taking all your shirts and leaving you just the ties? So you look like Fred Flintstone. That's some cosplay. I'm telling you man that it gets to and that's the difference between going with somebody and being married. Because going with somebody you may or may not have shared but when you marry, everything's shared.

Yeah, so you can't just pick up. No, you just can't pick up and go. Uh-uh. And here's the other thing. If that other person's accumulating bills and you ain't going to court, guess who's responsible for 50% of those bills? You are. Yeah. So, I mean, it's a big difference. I'm gonna hard rip, rip. I'll tear it up. I'll tear it up. Yeah, you tear it up, but it's still part of your permanent record. Yeah. So, that's our thought today.

Your permanent record, but yeah, man what I saw but the one I'm going like oh man is bad enough, but then when do oh Then he created two songs AI No, he didn't yeah he did equated to AI love song For his wife or for his girlfriend you're not doing that for your wife and you cheating on her well, and you don't want her back clearly

So how long was they married? I don't know. It don't matter. No, I was I was I was only asking because people, you know, they can be married for a certain amount of time and then find theyself in this life crisis of, okay, man, I'm, you know, man, I'm getting older, but I want to stay young and relevant. So when I'm gonna find me a 20 year old, I'm gonna find me a 30 year old just to be relevant, but falling in love and now you want to kill your wife because you want to be with this

Twenty-year-old woman is I hide man. That is crazy to me, man. And do she got kids Bob? Who the wife? Yeah Yeah, that's why what we got in the chat there Clark Good morning, Barbara Smith. All right. I had to start off with that. Sorry about that the kids are in the car, but Yeah

930 that that was Wow, and then that like I said the most damning text I was up most of the night Trying to figure out ways to kill her putting money in the gym. Oh my god. Oh man, sometimes You know, I said I used to ask people have you ever talked yourself out of a blessing? Yeah Sometimes we just talked too much. Yeah. Now. Let me say this about the dude who's currently

in the White House. He doesn't do like emails in his business. He wouldn't do emails. He wouldn't do text. He he won't any fingerprints out there. Paper trail. Right. Right. And then I was watching um I was watching this the Watergate blueprint for a scandal and it was talking about what Richard Nixon did. Richard Nixon had put the taping in

because he was gonna write memoirs. And that's why he did it, right? And the way it happened was the only time the tape would be activated was when he was part of the conversation. So it's all this self-incriminating stuff, because when the tapes got out, it was like, oh, so John Dean wasn't lying. Well, yeah, that, you know, when you have a record,

You when you have it recorded in his own record, you can't deny it. So that's why back in the day, it wouldn't mean it ain't me. So, you know, back in the day, you know, before A.I. them came out, you know, people when they did the major drug deals, they used to be me. You know, they used to meet in the parking lot because they didn't want it over the phone. Oh, yeah, that's what they were talking about the mafia because. Yeah.

the when they would go in and they would bug the places. I don't know who I don't know. It wasn't God. He was another guy who just said, we're closing all our social clubs, you know, and one dude was on trial and he said, now they're doing mafia business right in front of the courthouse on the bench. You know, so no, they couldn't hear them. They couldn't hear them smart because they would never expect him to do that. So by him doing what they never expected.

You know, that's how he got away with it until they started watching the horrible with the last what you say until they call I started watching horrible bosses last night and when they was doing the planning and they was writing on the board and dude use a permanent He's a permanent market that they couldn't erase is like dude or the wire Slinger bells having this meeting and this dude is over here taking notes. Yeah, what you doing? He's I'm taking notes

You don't take notes of our criminal enterprise. What is wrong with you? Paper trail paper trail paper trail All right, y'all. So I had to get that off my chest You know, oh boy and and and you know It's complicated I always say it but wow that was a tough one. All right, you listen to community voices free flow Friday We're gonna take a quick break and we'll be right back

All right, welcome back and we were celebrating off air brewers did 100. 100 wins. And since we celebrating, you know, we also going to celebrate my grandmother's birthday today.

92 years. Wow. 92 years. That's Alice D. Jones. So, uh, makes rock of our family. You know, love you, Granny. And I wish you many more. All right. Wow. Okay. Let me, one other thing kind of, well, we still have some more sports related stuff. Um, I cannot pronounce dude's name. Is it, uh, Kyle Jussick. Anybody know who Kyle Jussick is?

Yeah, I'll juice it. I don't think that's how you use it Yeah, you use it. Yeah, he gets fine for chugging celebration that NFL says was beer and he says was juice because that's his nickname. Yeah Nickname is juice. He's uh, he's the fullback right for 49ers number 44, but how are you? How are you finding him and y'all got alcoholic sponsors?

Say it one more time, please. How are you finding him? There you go. And y'all have alcoholic sponsors. There you go. So is it restriction on the players? Because he's a player, right? Well, they call the NFL the no fun league. Oh, of course. Because, yeah, they take away the celebrations. Yeah. But that just breeds hypocrisy. And, you know, NFL is no stranger to hypocrisy. Exactly. But that's crazy to me that.

You have these commercials and and teams and teams are sponsored by these alcoholic beverages as well. So why not ban that? But they won't because all they about is money is bread. Yeah. And who's going to be offended if he was chugging a beer? Right. What happens when a team wins? I was just looking at.

Champagne and beer. Champagne and beer. Yeah, they all in the locker room. All in locker room. You get, they got the goggles now. You know, there was a reporter, I think she was in the Cubs locker room and they dusted her with beer. It killed me with the NFL how they always talk about you gotta protect the shoe. You gotta protect the shoe. Like, you know how much shenanigans have gone on in the league that y'all publicly allow? Right.

But the whole hypocrisy piece is, then that means that you have no alcoholic sponsors. Right. Because then you won't have to worry about me. So then the fine makes perfect sense if you have a prohibition. But even then, he said, I drink juice. That's my nickname, right? Right. Call and welcome to the program. Good morning, you on there. Good morning, good morning, good morning. Good morning.

No, no, no, not even before you get started. We're not even having that conversation today. Hey, just because you in Arizona don't mean I won't press that button.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

I'm going to ask Clark to zoom in to Keith's face so you can really see the expressions on his face when you say it. We're not talking about that. We're not talking about that. You got to be watching it on YouTube to know this cat ain't playing. Call us on Monday. And wait a minute. I knew we weren't going to do it because I got no pushback when I put it out. You sure did. I got no pushback not at all.

Other than that, how's the weather down near us over? Oh, wow. I'm going to tell you, I'm going to tell you, I went to the games Sunday, man. I can't do no more football games. I heard that. 70,000 people is too many people for me, man. I heard that. That's a lot of people, man. Yeah. That's a lot of people. That's a lot of people doing half time on people hungry.

Oh, man. Oh, the bathroom. You can forget it. Yeah, bathroom. Bathrooms, man. That is like that line. And for women, it's even double. Man, I went to the Super Bowl. Because they don't have urinals. Yeah, I went to the Super Bowl. Yeah, and it ain't, you know, you be like, dude, you got whoever, I have my son, so you got to hold on to him, dial to people, move around, which is fantastic. Right. Then you got to remember where your seat is. You got to keep looking up. You got to do all of it. Man, I don't want to do none of that no more, though.

I just left it from the house. And then I realized, man, man, I like my space, man. This is just too many. Yeah, man. We went down to Soldier Field. And man, that's my world. I heard that that's one of the worst stadiums. It is. It's terrible. Because the bathroom situation. Yeah, it's like, oh, it's like 70s, 80s. And the thing is, DJ, you got to walk a mile to get there, because they don't have like regular part, like a stadium.

like a parking for uh they don't have to go so you gotta park downtown you gotta park we parked we parked up on drill it up by uh what is it uh maybe pier and took uh uber now it's still took 50 minutes 50 minutes 50 minutes that's a shame man that's a shame yeah i mean that's a shame because the thing about going to yankee stadium is most people take the train so the trains are packed

Yeah, right. But the train lets you off right there. Right at the front gate. You get off, man. But trains be packed, especially like we were coming from Midtown. It wasn't bad. But the people coming from North, you know, Westchester County, the Bronx. Man, those trains were packed. I'm trying to think. I'm going to tell you this. I'm going to tell you my picture up here, but I'm going to tell you this. My uncle moved down Chicago a long time ago when I was young. And I remember it.

and he moved down the street from the Cudd Stadium. So we're looking and we're like, man, this area in the Cudd is something about it. And we kept looking. It's Boys' Town. That whole neighborhood is a gay area in the Cudd's area. It's called Boys' Town. Gentrified it. They gentrified the neighborhood. No, because a lot of the poor whites lived on the north side of Chicago.

Like like like the whites who would come from West Virginia Ohio Kentucky for work They lived on the north side and if you go back there's a documentary out there called the original rainbow coalition Fred Hampton and you find out that and that's the thing we all think like white people is this universal thing, right? Uh-huh. There's ethnic differences among white folks

Oh, yeah. And so you have a town that's Irish and German and Polish and Serbian and then you get the Scott Irish to poor Scott Irish. They look the north side of Chicago parts of it look worse than the west side of Chicago back in the 60s and 70s. Like if you if you if you are watched the show called Shameless and they show you how they were living, how poor they were, they were living just as bad as white people. I mean, black people with 10 people in the house. Right. Right.

Shameless is crazy, man. I don't know. Yeah, man, you get up and then you begin to realize that it's more about class sometimes than race, right? Yeah, I mean, po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po po

I can't see a movie, I know you played in like Jurassic Park and all the other movies, but I can't not see him not playing Frank Gallagher and Shangri-La. I can't. All right, man, we will talk on Monday. Get your feelings out there. Get your feelings out there. Okay, you can do all of that, bro. All right, I'm gonna take it. All right. Well, I don't know how long I'm gonna take it. I appreciate you. Call him up to the program. Good morning, Yonair. Hey, how y'all doing today? Good morning, brothers.

Good morning. Hold on one second. Get your finger ready right now. Hey, there's nothing that went to the football game, took his child to the football game. That was another thing to do because you just found a child all of a sudden date. But go to a football game by yourself or maybe with another person.

and I'm pretty sure you ever change your mind. And when you want to go to the football game, man, you want to go up there to Lambo. So just anything else. I can't say the words I want. If you have a change of heart about football game, bro. Yeah, Lambo, Lambo really is fan accessible. It really is. Like I said, last year, when I went to the Packers Bears game, that that was

a cold game. It was really fun. And what was crazy thing about it is that the Bears fans was was cordial. Like that was. Where were you in Chicago? No, I was in Atlanta. Why wouldn't they be cordial? The eight of them that was there. No, it was a lot of no, not relatively speaking. No, it was a lot of it was a lot of it was a lot of Bears fans there. Well, one is a lot. No, it was a lot. I mean, that that's probably.

I went to a playoff Bucs game. And that game, it was the only game the Bucs won against Miami that one year where we had that big debacle. Buzz last year. We was actually, I was on TV with that. And that was a real fun experience, that playoff game. But that got superseded by last year at being at that Packer game.

It was nothing like it was a Sunday night, the rivalry and the way the game went. It was, it was, it was nothing, nothing could top that. Yeah. Lambeau Field is, is, is an experience, man. I went last year and it was folks were going on and on about how it really is the sacred space in the NFL. So all right. We got to 45.

You're listening to Community Voice. Let's take a quick break. We'll be right back. All right. Welcome back, Carla. Welcome to the program. Good morning. You're in there. Good morning, man. How y'all doing? All right, yourself? I'm all right. I'm all right, man. I'm a retired NFL security. I'm doing 13 seasons in the NFL. So I'm not running. It's just a real mess. It's even happening. You might get the practice no matter where I went. Once I got home and I got a chance to go to Lambo,

did I got there like four o'clock in the morning and you can see the fog lifting off the ground and you can see all those great names in the top of the stadium and before you get away got that statue. I got to rub his feet and then uh uh lumbar feet the statue then you go in and then you just watch the sun come over the top of the stadium. It is a very eerie feeling doing it but I've been I've like I said I've been in that round at Jacksonville. It's all types of stadiums.

And it's just being in Green Bay is different. I had to do 16 games to get on the field, but I only did eight home games. OK. OK. Great, great experience, man. Great experience. A lot of those guys are soft. Yeah. And I did, too. I did two years on the court of security. I did end on security for the NFL. And I did it on the court of security. And I was the first shadow. The coach shadowed in at Scott Skiles the year they went to the playoffs with Brandon Jennings.

And I just retired from the wave going 27 years. I did the ISE when uh, when the president when his food self came. But uh, yeah man, Rambo Rambo is a righteous place to be man. And I got a chance to watch the games everywhere else. I was at, we had to stare at our posts, but when they lose, they party all night. When they win, I mean, no, when they lose, I had nine thirties as a night game or anytime they lose, but when they pull in a win, they party all night. Yeah.

I guess they had a little bit of too much of that down in the University of Mississippi after they beat LSU and Lane Kiffin because two guys lost their lives. What? Yeah. Yeah. They're probably drinking, probably. Yeah. There's a lot of alcohol down there, man. They probably real hard at these games. Not to mention, I'm not the biggest fan of Mississippi. It's hard rooting for Mississippi. It's hard. I'll be safe out there, man. I'll be good. I'll be good. I'll be good.

Yeah, man, it's it's it's hard it's hard room from Mississippi because that that Nolan Smith it just it just don't Nolan Wells Nolan Wells my bad It just don't sit well with me Yeah, it do not sit well with me and then they just continuously lie to us and it's it's it's like it's also It's also privilege

And again, I don't know if y'all followed the Murdoch case in South Carolina, the guy that killed his wife and his son. His family was a prominent family there, and the ability to be able to bring people together to rally around something where nobody talks. There was a situation where they believed that one of his sons killed his ex-gay lover, right? But they were able to cover it up. People pulled together even though people knew.

I think that there are people in this Nolan Wells situation. That's already came out. Know what the situation, know what happened. But you have people there and the people he was running around with had means. Right. Right. This, this wasn't just everybody says hanging out with his white friends, but he's hanging out with his white friends who had money. And that's a different thing. Why would you lawyer up if you did nothing right? And it, you know, with the, you know, we do a lot of.

uh speculation on things but with the information that we are getting officially you know the one they stated that he drowned two they stated that uh he was he he stayed and everybody left right and and then you have three the phone situation right so now

What we just uncovered yesterday was that the autopsy said that he didn't drown. But y'all told us he drowned. So how did he pass away? Well, and that becomes the thing. And then how do we get to the truth?

when people were do all they can to make sure that the truth doesn't come out. But the grand jury just said it was it was no wrong doing. Because the grand jury was spoon-fed by the DA who had already made a conclusion that there was nothing wrong. And they were friends. He had friends on there that's judges and that's in high prominent places that they can lean on to make stuff happen.

to say is sickening, it doesn't it doesn't compare. And then Russell says something about the value of a black life. Because you would think that people would want to get to the truth. But how many times do we have to say that? Well, I'm just how many times? I'm going to say that. OK, I won't say it anymore. No, I'm just saying that, like, you know, they continuously do this. And then.

People always say, oh, well, you got to go through the system. The system works. No, it don't. No, it don't. It don't work for them. It don't work for us. Right. So it don't work. Because I can only. It's working the way it was designed to work. I could only go from our vantage point. I can't go. I can't go from their vantage point. You know, from us, the system don't work. Well, and that is 110% correct. But I'm going to flip side, like Keith said,

It's working how it was designed and that was not the work for us, but the work for them. So, you know, both of these are true. 414444 5250 414444 5250. We're going to take a quick break and we'll be right back. All right, welcome back.

Now it's time for the protege's perspective. There's always talk about surrounding yourself amongst individuals who are aligned with your ideologies, ambitions, and purpose. It is often encouraged to seek out, befriend, and build with like-minded groups of people. Partnering and learning from individuals with similar interests can be viewed in the phrases of birds of a feather flock together.

and iron sharpens iron. This embraces the notion of surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals and potentially building a strong coalition. Movements start from like-minded individuals joining forces and working together, but eventually this turns into people preaching to the choir. When like-minded individuals continuously meet and share ideas, an element of preaching to the choir presents itself.

As you begin to seek out, befriend, and build these relationships, you begin to create a silo that isn't easy to penetrate. In anything that you want to create, especially when it comes to your purpose, a strong foundation is critical for the stability and longevity for what is to be established. After this is established, how do you continue to grow?

Is there any benefit to preaching to the choir? Regurgitating the message to people who already understand our growth and preaching to the choir on opposite ends. The more I observe, the more I see that there is not much growth happening at times. And so it appears that when preaching to the choir,

it seems that it has a double-edged sword. But for the communities, for the community to grow, it will continue to take much more. Appreciate you, man. I know what it is, preach to the choir. Call and welcome to the program. Good morning, gentlemen. Good morning. Yes, help me understand this Byron Adelaide commercial.

I know who he is, but at the same time, they say in a tie now, what is actually the score? What they saying is a tie of whatever, or maybe I'm not understanding it. You said Byron Allen? Yeah, whatever it is commercial, you keep running during the breaks. It needs a Republican, but like Republican Donald, whatever. Yeah. Yeah. Run for governor in Florida. Right. He run for governor against who? Jolly.

Yeah. Okay. Now, what is, what is the scores? Who has what? Right now, they're statistically tied. Oh, okay. So it's like 33 to 34. No, 45, 44. Oh, okay. That's what I really want to know. Okay. Yeah, they're statistically tied. All right. Thank you very much. You're welcome. It was a brother and I tried not to.

you know, my mother has so programmed me, but there was a brother on CNN last night and what Republicans do to Dodge happen to answer questions is they turn around and then ask another question. So

An example of this would be, hey, you know, this war in Iran is costing all kind of, it has such a ripple effect on the economies throughout the world. And then- What do you buy in due to diffuse this situation? Right, or the black Republican goes, oh, so do you think it's okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon? Right. No, but that doesn't mean-

that I also support this war, which is costing Americans. We're not talking about the rest of the world. Just what is costing Americans? I mean, we went years without war with Iran. And we were still having the same conversation of, you know, Iran shouldn't have a nuclear war. Well, Obama put together something that was actually working.

Right. And because dude then gets in and anything Obama does, anything Biden do, I'm going to undo. And then so now you have all these unintended consequences. They were asking the nominee to run the Food and Drug Administration. He was talking about this whole thing where the president comes out and he talks about you should be able to break up the dosage of vaccines for kids.

And the medical people were saying, well, there's some reasons why you do it all at the same time. And so then he then changes his position. And they're asking this woman this question, which was amazing. They said, can the president ever be wrong? Now, my response would have been, well, all human beings can be wrong. And then keep it moving.

And no, she's putting herself in all kind of pretzels trying to avoid the fact that this dude could never be wrong. Well, where the reality is he is wrong most of the time. And, you know, this is one, this is one phrase or, or I don't know, just theme.

that, you know, in my 33 years, I've heard that we got a pushback on all day, every day. Republicans being good for the economy. So I was born in 92. I've experienced two Republican presidents that I can't remember.

You know, George W. And the dude that's in office right now. Oh, that's right. You wouldn't remember the first push. No. George W. I remember that's when people started to go crazy the first time about gas prices. 2008. 2008. We almost went into an economic collapse. Even before that, you know, I knew people who.

would just go to the gas station, and they would put $10 in, $15 in. They didn't even know that the numbers on the gas station was tied to the prices. They just always would go to the gas station. Boom. Put in 15, put in 20, 10, whoa, whoa. Then, 2008, the economic crisis, the housing.

I mean, it was it wasn't it wasn't just the house. It was houses, the car companies. Yeah. And so that was a disaster. Obviously, the great one came in, had to handle business, read new that. And now, but even go back. Bill Clinton left a circle right. He did.

He left a surplus and the first thing the Republicans did when they got in was to do tax cuts to eat up the surplus. Now we got this dude in the office. The first time the first time he was in office, stuff was a little shaky, especially for the farmers. Now he back again. And the economy is in shambles. So I don't want to.

Here, no more of this Republicans are responsible or are physically responsible and they are right for the economy. Democrats have to clean up what Republicans have messed up. Biden cleaned up what he did from the first time. Exactly. I could not have imagined had this dude been reelected in 2020.

And what we were going through in terms of COVID, right? What what would have happened? I mean, all I've heard is how Republicans are physically responsible. That's all of her. And how Democrats, fiscal hawks, right? Are physically irresponsible. But the economy does not show. And history hasn't shown that to be true. Yeah, because didn't FDR have to clean up with Herbert Hoover?

So yeah, I I it's the myth and and when you people come in and then they look at this dude and talk about he was a businessman Even more maybe we don't want business people run in America Maybe maybe our experience has been that You have people who were so beholden to business interests that the people's interest suffers

because of business interests, right? Because cash over everything. And remind you, you know, they always talked about inflation with Biden, but the inflation rate was lower when that guy took office. Here's the other thing. And we all need to put inflation in perspective. What causes inflation sometimes is that you have a lot of money in the economy.

So when they sent out the stimulus is when they did the PPP all these things to prop up the economy, which if you study economics, that would be John Kins, it's Kenzian where government has a responsibility to step in to make sure that the economic system doesn't collapse. So therefore you infuse money. So people had money. Now the problem with what a lot of people have in money is the value of money drops, right?

Then because they had to pay higher wages to get people to go and work during COVID. Okay, that's then shooting up prices supply supply chain issues, right? There was there was a lot but People don't like inflation But I could tell you recession and depression is far worse is far worse depending on now you have some countries where they have 145% inflation their money is worth and I'm just saying I haven't I haven't experienced

depression, you know, I've experienced the recession, uh, but I was a child. Right. Um, so I didn't hit, it didn't hit me and think about what we're talking about when we talked about the great depression, 25% of the American population was unemployed. Right. 25%. That's astronomical. And that's before we had social security and all these things. So.

Think about that, you know, so and then what recession looks like and here's the other thing for all you black Republicans who supported this dude The black unemployment rate has gone up under this guy, right? I'll say it again the black unemployment rate has gone up under this guy Okay, all right

Alright, let's see. No 10 parish because of the H. We're not related Someone said the guy I was talking about was 10 parish. Oh Paris, but it's parish. That's what an H. There's no H and then there's Paris. I still don't know how people mess your name up. I mean, I mean, because it's real close, you know, Keith. Annunciation. Well, even Keith, not Keith. Paris, not parish.

Annunciate, but you know somebody put a tomato tomato somebody put in this somebody put in the chat last week over there on Keith Avenue You would love that Street after me there was there was a brother Oh, yeah, and I was at his funeral

I said, man, this brother is so cold. They named a book after him in the Bible. His name was Mark. Yeah, I know everybody got to laugh. That's how cold he was. They got a book named after him. His name was Mark. So, wow. OK, man, the WNBA starts playoff start on Sunday. I ain't going to lie. I forgot that they were still going on. Oh, dude, they just got back.

Right because it uh, that's why because I was I was wondering like why? And I'm telling you the matchups man, you got the liberty against the links Man, they got some good matchups. So I'm looking forward to that. I am a big fan of WNBA Now the fever whooped up on the links Tuesday night, but last night

Man the link spanked the fever man man, they put hands on them. It was I just I just I just think it's pure basketball and I'm a purist and I just like and plus they just got talent man some of those folks out there if Asia Wilson Retires today. Was he to go? Yeah, you think you need to go? I think so I Think so what she's done in eight years. Yeah is

Phenomenal. Phenomenal. And she's already better than Terasi to me. Um, she's, I mean, she's, she's clearly, she's been better than... Well, you know what? But there's one out there. And I, she, she's been my goal. My more was, and my more was able to walk away. Candace Parker. Candace Parker.

Candice Parker was called. Yeah, I mean, she now she doesn't. But she passed Candice already, though. Yeah, I think she she passed Candice already, though. And Candice was called. Candice was called. They was comparing her to Cheryl Miller. That's how cold she was. Miller was the greatest women's player ever. You know, I wouldn't. I wouldn't disagree with somebody who says that Candice is better.

But the difference is Cheryl Miller never had a WNBA career. Right. And that would be the difference. Because what's the lady that played with her at USC? Oh, Cynthia Cooper. Cynthia Cooper. You know, she... Bed revised. She, you know, she could... She has a case to be the go. Oh, yeah, she Hall of Fame. Everybody talk about Cheryl Swoops with the comments. Uh-uh. Uh-uh, Cynthia Cooper.

It was definitely Cynthia Cooper. But Cheryl Swoops was a big piece. Yeah, I mean that was that was a two-headed monster. It was really a three-headed monster because uh, was it Tina? Tina Thompson. Yep, because and Tina Thompson all three of them. Yeah, they're all Hall of Famers. It wasn't nobody messing with them. Yeah, yeah, they they they were and let me say this man Brianna Stewart, Stewie.

She balls. Yeah, she do balls man. I mean not better than now. She's up there with them because when you look at her accomplishments, she up there, but she after them. Okay. All right. It's Friday. Everybody got an opinion. Call and welcome to the program. Good morning. I was, uh, I couldn't talk in person when you were talking about that was, uh, that was making emails and texting.

to how to get rid of his wife or text her instead. Text her and tell her that, you know, that's called a person loving a person to death. It had nothing to do with divorce and all of that. That's love, man. And that's when a person loves you to death. And if you've ever been in that situation where a broad hunts you down, man, don't let you go. He's told a broad, no, I'm done.

Why do you, if I may ask, why do you refer to women as broths? Okay, well I can say ladies then. Okay. I was, I just thought that you know something, brother. Why, why, why are you, you're saying, you just don't say it on the radio. Right, but see, we own the radio. Right, okay, and I'll respect that, but you know what, so let me ask you, okay, so now I know how to act when I'm on the radio, that's all that is.

Okay, right, right. Okay. So we got past that. That's called loving a person with death, DJ. You got to be careful because a lady will love you to death. I won't let you get away man. You think that's loving? You think that's loving? Hey man, it's love man. You want the girls to get away from you, you got butterflies in your stomach. That's obsession.

that it was insecurities where they want to be controlled. But I thought this situation was different because all of that grow up into a big ball is emotional. It's love. It creates love. It's jealousy is in that same vein. Jealousy is in that same vein. Yeah, no, no, I'm not disagreeing with the jealousy part. I'm just saying that I think this is a little different because

He tried to kill his wife so he could get with the other chick. Not that his wife wanted to leave him. He loved the other chick. He loved the other. It's love to them. He was loving on the other chick to get rid of that lady. It's always in the same vein. You understand what I'm saying? He was in love with the other girl to make him unalive or kill the other lady. You see what I'm saying? So it's called loving.

because he didn't do the act to the actual girl that he was loving. He still created a, I mean, committed a Hamias act or tried to, all in the same vein. I think, I think, uh, never understood me. The power of rejection and what I agree with you and how people react when they perceive to be when nobody rejected here. No, I'm responding to him. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Somebody was rejected.

that the wife was rejected. She was a reject. He didn't want to. But I'm saying, I don't know if she's any evidence that she acted on the rejection. When you talked about when people breaking the windows out your car, that's rejection. And people are acting on that rejection. And when you get your mom with a sobriety, that person might realize, I don't really even like that dude. But it had nothing to do with that. It had everything to do with my ego.

and my ego being denit, my emotions being violated, you know, and so then you get that and it's not just women, it's men too. I was sort of the dude that- Okay, one more time, I gotta go, I gotta go because you won't kick me off of here. I'm taking up too much of your time for it. All right. The next, the next one was you talked about- That's the first week. Okay, you talked about unemployment rate.

and the unemployment rate from Joe Biden, I think when he took it over, it was 6. something percent, then it jumped down to about 4%. We at 4.1 now, so it's back. The black unemployment rate, not the general unemployment rate. I'm talking about black unemployment, bro. Okay, all right. I'm talking about black unemployment. Is it up or down? And then we have to realize something, one more thing, the jest should live by fate. And now one of us, the jest should live by fate. But you understand that, man, jest, the jest, man.

the jest gonna be all right. See, we ain't gonna be hungry. The jest, now if you got jest in, you probably gonna be, you know. Man, you can't feed nobody the Bible. Man, you ain't Mr. Meal. No, my point is for the people that the people that missing meals, you can't feed them the Bible. They need food. No, they need food.

You coming here trying to feed me Bible when I need food? No, no, no, no, no, no. The current unemployment rate is 6% right now. Okay, listen to this here. When black unemployment rate, hold on once, when black unemployment rate usually shoots sky, I mean, get high, it's because we've opted out of the unemployment line and we've become creative and created our own. That's not true. It means that they're not the jobs out there not being hired.

Okay, you know opting out you trying to Yes, you live by faith, man, you know, I don't know who who if it was Paul or James or someone who pointed out when people are hungry you can't feed them scripture Well, they were with Jesus and it was 5,000 of them G agencies looking we need to feed them less they think it was 5,000 men not including women and children He took a schoolboy lunch and he prepared lunch for them. I understand all of that. That was the social act of Christ

You know, that was that was Christ did some social work itself now. Oh, I mean, yes, he did. Wow. Yes, he did. All right. I mean, I mean, you know what? Can you imagine if Jesus was here and created some fish sandwiches now, what they'd be selling fish dinners, when the holy fish dinners come right out of the masses? Hey, I mean, it was social. It was a social deal.

Uh, even the medical when he healed gyrosis daughter would have been hurt. Buffalo catfish. What kind of fish would have been each? I don't know, man. Over there in that part of the world, probably one that we don't eat. You know, but, uh, what's the fish that people like? Uh, not to start the other ones. Smelts. Thank you. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts. Smelts.

Yeah, you know, you sure they come out the lake, man. You know, they little bitty fish that look like sardines. You probably are hard, man. And they sit back there with you some french fries. But I done got off the old greasy fried foods. But all right, bro. I'm gonna do this again. Another call before I go right now. All right. I appreciate that. All right. Baby goldfish. Carla, welcome to the program. Good morning. You on there? Hey, what's up, fellas? Hey, what's happening?

Did y'all hear what Al said right at the beginning of the show. I can't remember how we get in trouble, whether it's men or women, we lie. All you got to do is just be straight with somebody. Hey, blah, blah, blah. I got her, but I want you to. Or I got him and I want you to. You can G with it or you don't. But if you be straight up with people, those are real players. Most people cheat.

They keep it on the cover and they don't tell. And that's how you get your windows broken out. That part. Because you need a person the wrong way. That's how you get the tires cut. Because a troop player, women can pop their collars too. Or a troop player going to be straight up with you, hey baby, this is what it is. I like you. But I got all these other things going on. You want a G with it or not? Give them that choice. And if they want a G with it, then they can't say nothing, right?

That's a real place. I don't know what he's talking about. And that dude killed his wife. So what is he talking about? Right. And because of me bringing it up and watching a lot of these crime shows, you know, because, you know, they always got us on TV, which I'm not saying is wrong, you know, with the shootings and all that kind of stuff. But if you watch a lot of them crime shows on TV, then white folks be killing each other because they want somebody different or they want that insurance money. So, so, you know, don't don't get it twisted.

And if it was all white people on this planet, trust me, like he said, they go find a way to kill each other. I mean, they join in now. They go find, so we would know other people of color on this planet with just white folks on this planet. They still go find a way to fight and kill each other. Because that's what human beings do. Right. You know, most crime is proximity based. Right. And let me have relationships. And let me just say this and let me get off.

that dude named Parrish man every time I see him on Abbey Man it just I don't know what these black dudes be doing that they just been themselves in pretzels like our caller that's just got off the phone they've been they so in pretzels to defend this dude right because like you said Keith when we when when Clinton and we probably it'll probably never ever ever happen again yeah when Clinton came in office it was a surplus but

Bush gave them tax cuts and started that war. That's where things started going back down hill again. And I think, who came in? Who came in after Bush? Didn't Clint, I mean, a block coming after Bush? Yeah. Then he got a halfway straight and up again, didn't he? He did. Who came in after him? The boy that's in there right now. The guy that's in there right now.

He came in and messed things back up again, right? Yeah. And then he tried to get things straightened up again. And then the orange man came back in and messing things back up again. So if y'all don't believe me, Google it. He says that he don't know why, but it seems like when the Democrats are in office, the economy and everything is better for the people. If you don't believe me, Google it. Yeah, he gets a bad rap.

um um carter because more more americans right jimmy carter more americans working in 1979 at any other point now we had inflation again because we had a lot of money out there and what was going on with the

Group called OPEC and oil prices. I can remember when they were rationing gas, you know, like you based on your it was your license plate number odd days even days in some places But you know, really? Yeah. Wow. Yeah, yeah Oh I was gonna say something and I was watching looking at something on YouTube yesterday And I think I must have mentioned her name, but I think she got four championships

And they say they never rookie year. She was scored like 29 points up in the game. I think I might have called out her name, but I think that's what it was because they had a picture of her. She was surrounded by Kobe LeBron. Yeah, that's our Cynthia Cooper. Yeah, OK, OK, I was looking at her last night, but I love the WNBA. I do man.

and um it's probably going to go down to the because the links don't knock out the fever. They will knock them out. Ain't no way fever is going to get past the links. So it's probably going to go down to the links and then and uh the links and who who's that girl that's married to? I mean over there. Vegas. Asia. That's right. Yeah. That's probably who it's going to go down to for the championship. Hey, hey, George, we gotta go to break. Okay, y'all. Thanks man.

You're listening to Community Voice. We will be right back. All right, welcome back. And yeah, we were talking about the NBA, WNBA playoff start on Sunday. So the first game is Liberty Links. That should be a very interesting three game series. Then you got the Fever and Asus, Mystic and the Dreams.

And then the wings and the Valkyries. The Valkyries is really surprising to me. They're two years. They've only been in existence two years. So, man, I'm looking forward to that. What up, Deebo? Hey man, trying to make it happen. I was, quick question, is there, is there still a movie or a song that can,

get you to emotionally respond like when you hear it you just go like oh man that gap me or you remember that scene from the movie that you know religious song or whatever the song is whatever it is there's some it's plenty religious songs yeah and then a movie the movie is fruzeville station i can't uh oh man really i can't i can't watch it again i only saw it one time over 10 years ago was one for me

Because I saw a lot of my life, you know, grandma dying when I was young and you know, the Sunday dinners and it just it does it for me every time. Stevie Wonder ass. That's a song that gets me coach. She's getting killed and then Cooley high.

Yeah, it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. Is your mic on, Clark? Huh? Good. Yeah, that one still resonates, man, when I kind of see that I get... When Mufasa died. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, Lion King? Mm-hmm. Yeah.

When we Rhonda remembers this we we she drugged me to see Lion King on Broadway Yeah, and when most when he died this little boy in the back he cried and he cried I mean He took it hard. I was like whoa, okay. Yeah, we took it. We took some kids to see a Lion King play up at a go to my ear and I'm

You know, I always had a kids that just be cutting up so they they haven't missed cuz they ain't gonna be no cutting up with mr. DJ When Mufasa die, he like no

I'd say I never had that experience, but it always made me laugh looking at like TV shows when parents would be talking to you. And then when you respond, they say, shut up. And then when they ask you another question and you quiet, they're like, man, you better answer me when I'm talking to you. But you know the ones who would get hit harder would be the ones who didn't cry.

It was always that whole thing right dude. Do I cry? Oh, you ain't gonna cry? Oh, you ain't gonna cry? Okay, but if you cry you better stop that crime, right, right? So you you crying at a shut up before I give you something to cry right and I'm trying to think what was the last 15 minutes? What did I miss? 30

Is that right? Y'all must have been. Child abuse, man. Don't take that long to whoop a child. Yeah, it depends on the child. Hey, if you run it. Oh, you can't run. Run? I wish I would run. I'd be in a wheelchair. I would be doing this program in a wheelchair if I ever ran for my father. It really only took a good two minutes. That's all I'm saying. Just imagine a five-minute whooping.

I'm gonna tell you and this is the difference between me and Gary. Gary never moved. I made my mama work Okay, like Gary Gary sit there Gary take it Gary took it like a soldier not me. I'm screaming. I'm moving. I'm kicking. I'm bad No, no real good. Let call welcome to the program. Good morning. You on there Good morning. Good morning. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you the first one

You know the woman you don't say nothing to get whoop harder. Yep. I feel huh? Yeah. Oh, so you hard huh? And again, you know what? By the time Ambrose come along though, he should have been a professional because there's a bunch of them. Is that right? Yeah, so I mean you figure it out.

You figure out what to do and what not to do. So, you know, we couldn't get it. We couldn't act up what my dad is want, which was our mama. If we got her upset, we got in trouble. So we worked hard to not get her upset. But you still go find a way to get yourself in a situation. Oh, yeah. And parts of me kept saying, man, I wish I had a daddy.

So I'd have to wait till he get home. That's it, right there. Wait till he get home. Yeah, and hopefully he too tired when he get off of work, he want to handle that. Because the way she was handling it, it would be like, ooh, man. I wish that now when daddy come home, listen to our talk to him, and then he'll call us in there, and then send us down.

And he'd tell us what's going on and walk in. And then he'd say, OK, it's time. That belt has stars, fish, and birds, Princeton. I remember that thing. Hey, it made me the man I am today. Right. I told somebody, though, and I know some people are going to find this one hard to digest. Sometimes the whooping was better than my mother's tongue lashing. Right.

Cause my mother would wear you out, dude. I mean, by the time she got finished with, why don't you just hit me? Cause this talking to, I ain't feeling no better. I got lectures from anybody. I'm gonna tell you like this. Yeah. You know, the lecture, our lectures came down to the point of, you know, is he going to do that for you on it or not? They didn't, they didn't, it wasn't a lot of talking. That is what he was, he was a go to get it.

guy mama was a go-to get it down it wasn't a lot of tough so even you were or you weren't all right man appreciate you all right man call welcome to the program good morning you're in there good morning you guys are talking about you guys talking about women right yeah

I remember my mama used to tell me, she used to say, one more word, you know, and I'll lock you in the funding. And I would always wonder, why would you be losing? You know what? Oh, that's why you got hit. You're trying to be a smart ass. That's why she was firing on you. Oh, you the smart one. I was never understand.

I would never understand why she would always sing at that particular day. Which you wanted to be not till Friday? My momma didn't say no that she just said, I'm gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the middle of next week. I'm not gonna knock you in the

But my dad told me the story before he passed away about how, um, how much I'm the baby in the family. There were five of us. And both my, my mother worked at Brigham Strait. My dad worked at the phone call. My parents were rich, I would. Um, but we must have been making a whole lot of noise. And it woke up my dad. And my daddy had this big black belt.

And he made everybody lined up to get a whooping. So when it came to me, I'm just learning how to walk, right? How come I'm getting aligned with everybody? And my daddy said, my daddy said, when it came to me getting a whooping, I was in a line crying.

I didn't know what I was crying about. I've been up there one year ago. Didn't know what I was crying about. But I wanted to get what they would get. Oh, you were their special child, weren't you? I got you. Man, when they was talking about lining up, I would have been easing towards the door. And she said, uh-uh-uh-uh. You too. You too. I appreciate you. All right, talk to you. I have a good weekend. You too.

Go to the program. Good morning. You on there. All right. Yeah, I'm talking about persons. I grew up in my grandmother's house. And she was the disciplinarian. And she was, at first, she would tell us to go get a switch. And if it wasn't the switch that she wanted, she'd go get her own switch. And it would be one of them black arm switches, which didn't break, but it tore.

And she would make each of us kids trip. And say, I'm not flipping clothes that I bought. So we got flipping on that natural birthday suit. She valued the clothes, boy, does she value her kids? Yeah. She didn't have to give me the one time.

But you learn from that experience because you didn't want to get that skin because you got preps from your body and everything you want other kids to feel. Man. What was your name? John Hogan. You know what was funny, man? My mother would send Gary out to get Francine's.

like get a switch, right? Gary bring in one of those little things, it's dissolving before it even got into the house, right? She said about get one for Francine, he bring in a tree branch. That was my uncle. Yeah, that ain't for me. Whatever he could grab in his hands. Right, you know, he going like, you gonna kill her. Oh my God. But you know, and I know it's Friday, so we'll keep it light. But you know, a lot of this goes back to enslavement, right?

and how enslaved people were disciplined. And then that's what we carried it over into when you sit up and you think about a lot of it because people felt like, okay, that whole pain as a motivator, but when you're talking with a kid. And obey. Right. The pain is only going to last so long. And then I like to where I was. But you ain't never seen one of them kids, man. And you said to yourself, I know what he need. He need a good old fashioned.

Oh, yeah Let me say what my wife said if you love me by me something It's gonna hurt me more than hurt you I Can't see how Robert Townley when he used to do the partners and crime thing for HBO I don't know if it was Robert Townley who it was, but they were doing the game show, right?

And this brother was talking crazy. Every time they asked him a question, he say something slick. I mean, he was just like, da da da. Every time he says, oh, da da da da da da da da. So they said, man, pick your curtain. He picked number two. They said, oh, we got something to pick just for you. I asked with it.

Yeah, that part Hey John, thanks a lot man because he is talking crazy. Oh, we got something for you right here, buddy You know but it was I And I and it's become a life principle don't get a whooping for the same thing twice. Yeah, that's been a life lesson for me man. It's like

You know, it's like the dudes who consistently go to jail for doing the same thing. So you found new ways to get a weapon. I found new ways, hopefully, that I wouldn't get a weapon. That he wouldn't get caught. That I wouldn't get caught. I mean, you know, now you spend a little bit more time. You know, I'm looking like Wiley Coyote. Super genius. He figured out and it is still. I missed that they did.

They did a live animation, live slash animation piece on Wiley Coyote. It's called Acme, because remember, he'd always go to the Acme company to buy this. And if you really into pack of vintage stuff, the original sponsors of the Packers with the Acme. So I got it like a pack of Acme shirt, but I heard that they were employees of.

They work. Yeah, they work for. Yeah. And they just started playing for a while. And that subsequently started to leave. My dad's folks live in a little town of Monticello, Kentucky. And so, you know, they don't have any proteins there. So softball is really big. And so there was one company there and this company would hire like the best softball players, work for the company, but to play for the team. Yeah. So that's how it usually is.

Man, if you're able to get work. Yeah, all you have to do is just get out there and produce All right, man. Well Let me DJ Thank you and just got to do it again, you know, happy birthday to my grandmother miss Elastine Jones 92 years young When your mom's just last week or the week before no, that was uh, that was uh, Linda's granddad James, okay

James McCaff. So what about that text you said talking about how can I kill her? It was a whisper text. What? I never said nothing like that.

Hey, Keith, man, I really admire you, man, and I respect your opinion. You know, it's a lot of things where you would say, that sound like DJ. But that ain't one of them. Clark Kip. Hey, man, D-Ball, let me thank Jermaine Rideout. Hey, yo, he had to get out here a little bit early. Hey, man, y'all have a really, really, really good weekend. Good Lord, Will and Creek, don't rise. Hope to talk to everybody on Monday.
