Two titans of learning, two colossal minds, two high-flying education commentators at the top of their game; and this time they're agreeing with each other?!?! Today we exit the A.I. Wars era of BustED Pencils (perhaps briefly) and get back to something Drs. Tim Slekar and Johnny Lupinacci can agree about; making classrooms better places for kids and teachers alike. What stressors make teaching a mentally and physically draining career for so many of our nation's teachers? Why is the current administration so intent on making our classrooms a literal and metaphorical battlefield? Johnny returns from a teaching conference with a whole bunch of thoughts on just that, and Tim is loving what he's hearing. Long story short, it's about time the people in charge of our education system wise up and embrace a simple slogan; make learn, not war.

Producer Jakob was also there, but he didn't contribute very much. The NHL playoffs are in full swing and perhaps his mind is just a million miles away. Nonetheless, rest assured he will be duly reprimanded for his inattention.
