Good, how are you?
Thanks for taking time to join us.
We're going to get to know you a little bit here this morning.
So the folks who are making their way to apprentice progress days can get a good connection already before you even hit the stage here.
So Haley, tell us a little bit about yourself where you grew up and kind of your music journey leading up to this moment.
Yeah, so I grew up in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
I spent most of my childhood growing up there.
I started playing my very first shows in Heastings, Minnesota, just down the road from Cottage Grove.
And that's kind of where I started my journey, just playing open mics.
And I was playing open mics around the cities, around Heastings.
And then my first gig I got was in Heastings, Minnesota.
And from there, I actually, my first gig got a weekly gig all summer long.
And that really just boosted my confidence on stage.
And I really got people
hear me and that very first year I started pursuing
performing I released my first single live your life and I was 14 years old when I wrote it I was 15 when I released it and yeah I started at 14 so it's been quite a journey I turned 23 in a week so it's been almost like between like eight nine years that I've been pursuing music and I've gotten to do such such incredible things and open for idols of mine sing with idols of mine it's it's been an awesome
connection already because my dad who passed away a few years ago, uh, graduate of Hastings High School.
So I have a lot of relatives over in that Hastings area.
Yeah.
I've been there many, many times to Hastings, uh, in cool little town right on the, right on the river there.
So a beautiful, yeah, beautiful area.
Uh, so, uh, tell us about, uh, let's talk more recently about this summer and you mentioned being able to take the stage with, uh, some big name artists and stuff like that.
So tell us a little bit about your, uh, about yourself.
summer and how's that going for you?
Yeah, honestly, it's been amazing.
I had a really cool moment happen this past summer.
A lot of people know me because I had a video go viral back in 2021.
I got pulled on stage to sing with Dustin Lynch, and that was in Cadot, Wisconsin at what was called Country Fest.
It's now called Huffbeat.
But I was pulled on stage.
The video went super viral.
And actually this summer, I got to reunite with Dustin at his show in Welch, Minnesota.
And I kind of honestly snuck into his meet and greet, not literally.
I didn't sneak in, but I got into his meet and greet and I was just like, Hey, do you remember me?
And he remembered me.
He's like, you have been literally the one person he brought up that entire summer.
Um, cause he brought up a bunch of people that same summer.
You were the one person that went viral.
You were still going viral to this day.
People know me because of it.
Still goes viral.
And he had me sing on stage with him again and joined him again.
And I feel like it's just been.
thing because last summer I got to get on stage with Riley Greene and sing with him.
And that was also at Countryfest Huffbeat.
So that has just been a really cool place that has just offered me so many cool opportunities, things that people know me for.
And yeah, I've gotten to open for just idols of mine, like even just this past year in Good Andress.
And yeah, Carrie Underwood, all the people that I just absolutely love.
So yeah, it's been
Imagine Dustin Lynch, Gray pulls a young lady like Haley up on stage thinking, you know, she's gonna just sing and it's gonna be just okay.
And all of a sudden, bam, Haley, I mean, you probably belted out a note and Dustin was like, whoa, hello.
I'm sure that's part of the reason why I went viral, right?
Honestly, it was so funny to see the video.
I feel like everyone needs to watch that video.
If you just search up Haley James and Dustin Lynch, I'm sure it will come up.
But truly, if you watch his reaction, I even was, I was 17 at the time.
I felt like such a baby.
I felt like I was just brand new into all of this and even him just bowing down.
I was very much in my element.
I was feeling very good.
I was very excited.
It was such a fun opportunity.
Just to get to rubbish.
Oh, you mentioned Carrie Underwood.
like that.
That's such a great opportunity.
That's what's unique about country music, isn't it, Hailey?
Is all these country music festivals we have and artists like you getting an opportunity to really showcase what you can do and meet the people who influenced you.
That's kind of unique when you talk about music formats.
Country has that going for it, doesn't it?
Yes.
No, I truly...
The country music scene also in the Midwest is very much here.
I feel like a lot of people go to Nashville for the music scene and the country music scene specifically, but I think there's such a beautiful thing happening up here in the Midwest and there's just so many concerts happening, so many country artists tour through Minnesota, Wisconsin for a reason because.
This is just where so many country music fans live.
And I have seen that with the love that I've been given over the years.
And I've just built a really great, great fan base truly that just show up and love my music, which is all I could ask for.
And an artist, I mean, they have a, you have decisions to make.
We talked to Chris Cruz a couple of years ago and he talked about the fact that he didn't want to move to Nashville.
He didn't want to go there, but.
He does pretty well for himself.
So there is, you mentioned country music being so big in the Midwest and Wisconsin to that.
Um, yeah, I mean, going to Nashville has its ends possibly, but you can still make a goal of it, right?
Around here.
I mean, you stay busy, you make enough money to make it worthwhile.
There's still a way to make it work, right?
Right.
And yeah, actually I am friends with Chris Krusey too and just seeing the grind that he's on.
I mean, it's so possible to make music your full-time job and not move to Nashville.
It definitely can be a different experience if you go to Nashville, I would definitely say.
And there's so many advantages to Nashville, but I would say too that it is just very beneficial to, you know, not be scared to start a career in music up here because there are a lot of really great opportunities happening up here.
that you don't even really know about till you get into it.
Yeah,
We've got a weird level, a super high degree of musical talent and a super high number of people with that kind of talent.
So it I mean, well, it's awesome to see.
It's it's hardly a surprise at this point to hear that, you know, and there's there's a Haley James out there.
somewhere, you know, sitting there just playing guitar on her back porch.
Hailey, does
Yeah, honestly, when I, when I started, like I said, I started at 14.
I really honestly, when I say I started at 14 is really when I started writing songs, I started performing.
started playing guitar i pretty much just picked up the guitar and forced myself to learn it and i had been singing ever since but you know i started going into this whole thing as a hobby i had no idea that it could be a real career for me until i mean even the first single i released i got it played on a major radio station of the twin cities and i got an interview on the news station out of the twin cities and right then and there i felt like
That was just telling me that this is where I'm meant to be.
This is the path and the journey that I'm meant to be on.
And truly, I think when you put hard work into something that you love and you really just pour your heart into it, you will find that that is where you're meant to be.
That is the journey that you're meant to be on and there will be signs.
So it's been a beautiful journey for me.
And from the start, like you said, I feel like things have just been really working out for me, but I feel like again, that happens when you're just
putting your whole heart and soul into it and working hard.
I want to highlight something you said there because the two things, in fact, just now you said it feels like things have just been working out for you.
But just before that, you mentioned how you sat down and you forced yourself to learn guitar.
That's one of those things that a lot of people own guitars.
I happen to know a guy really well who owns a guitar that he's never played.
Not going to name names or admit anything here, but that ability to sit down and
put yourself through something like that that other people might not be able to.
I mean, it sounds like self-discipline by another description.
It sounds like you might, the hard work you've done, I mean, do you agree with the statement opportunities multiply as you take advantage of them?
Is that something that lines
up with what you've been?
Yeah, yeah.
that's that's something that's blown my mind too is just hey say yes to the thing and who knows where you're going to end up on the side of it.
I mean it would be pretty easy to ask you what the most surprising aspect has been but somebody who's been pulled up on stage with Dustin Lynch and Carrie Underwood it might not be too hard to guess.
My question is how many times can you be pulled up on stage randomly before people recognize you before you start singing.
I think you've got a limited number of surprise
stage
You know actually that's funny you say that because like I said I got pulled up on stage by Dustin Lynch.
country fest, which is now called country fest.
It ju last couple years.
But no, when I was going there this I just went to go because my family's gone forever.
I was there when I got pulled
I got so many people stopping me.
I swear every like five minutes I had someone stop me.
I wasn't even playing the festival and they were like, you're Haley James.
Can I take a picture with you?
And so that to me is so.
cool.
It is showing the impact and clearly that place holds a lot of memories and a lot of the big memories that I have, so it makes sense.
But it's very cool to be recognized.
I mean, I've even been recognized in like, you know, in a quick trip by the cashier, like, hey, I know who you are.
It's so funny.
I just love it so much.
It shows how much of an impact that I'm making.
And that's so cool.
We're going to play a clip of her song, Lemonade, standing just a little bit, a new song she has out.
But I always want to ask this to artists like yourself, whether you've been in it for a few years or we've interviewed legendary artists too.
Because I've been in radio a long time and I've had a couple of moments in my career where I just, I literally like pinch myself.
It's like, how, how am I here with this person?
How am I here in this moment?
So give me that.
You're young yet, Haley, but give me that moment.
What stands out as number one when you were like on stage or you're like standing next to someone and you're like,
How am I here with this person talking to them?
What's your moment?
Honestly.
like most recent was when I got to sing with Dustin Lynch this summer because just being pulled on stage and being up there and even having fans at his concert being like, I know her.
That was like a moment where I had to pinch myself of like, this is so cool.
I'm singing with Dustin Lynch, somebody I've looked up for two for years and years and years, somebody who has truly changed my life and didn't even
didn't even try.
I mean, he pulled me up not knowing who I was.
And it was just a moment that just happened out of
out of circumstance.
And that was a moment for me recently that I just felt so cool.
My mom was standing on the like side of the stage recording me.
And I was just like, this is so cool to have my family even be side next to me, like watching me grow.
My mom, my dad, my sister, and like even my fiance, it's just so cool to like have them watch these things happen for me too, because having my core people
to like be there with me is also so special.
So that was just such a fun, cool moment.
And it's so much, I love it.
I'm old enough Haley where I grew, I grew up without the internet.
But what I see as an older person in the internet is it gives opportunities for artists like you and people who are so talented that maybe in another generation would never have been able to do some of the things you do because you can get yourself out.
You don't
Yes, Nashville is nice, but you don't need Nashville.
You got social media, you got other outlets, and that's got to be so much fun for you and to run into people in your industry that have succeeded through that avenue.
Yeah, it's very exciting because there always seemed like there was this one right path But the more people I meet the more they say you know what no there are so many paths that you could take there are people being signed by record labels that blow up on tiktok and that's like their thing and you don't have to be living in Nashville to blow up on tiktok you could be living anywhere so really honestly disguised the limit these days with what you know The online and social media is offered.
Yes, I'm so excited.
I'm bringing the full band.
We are so excited to come to Prentice.
I tell you, we are just so excited.
We have some new things we're going to try out.
And we just love having fun.
We love rocking out.
And it's a little bit of country pop, a little bit of.
soft rock influence like even songs that aren't necessarily rock we bring those electric guitars out and we hit them hard like we love it it's so fun energy's high the whole time and I will be giving out free lemonade per my lemonade
So you're going to get free lemonade if you come to my shop.
So, uh, we're going to play a clip of that.
Give us, uh, give us the inspiration behind lemonade stand.
I saw a little bit of the promo video, but this does take me back to the old days and even, even in small town America here, I'll drive by a house and see a 10 year old girl out there with a lemonade stand.
I'm just like, I gotta stop and get a glass.
Is that kind of where it goes back for
you?
like I still see little girls little boys all around my town having lemonade stands and it makes me so happy that that's still a tradition because I did that and me and my sister would sit at the end of our driveway and sell lemonade and those are just core childhood memories, you know, even chasing after the ice cream truck when it's coming down the road and it just is a song that encompasses everything about my childhood.
It's a song that truly tells you why I am the way I am and
highlights that sisterhood as well.
And my sister's in a lot of the promo you can see.
And it's funny the joke is she's not blonde, but I wrote it with another blue eyed blonde Maddie Taylor.
So that was the inspo, but it is very much inspired by my big sister, Carly.
So in our childhood growing
Yeah, you can go to haleyjamesmusic.com.
You can find literally everything there, socials, music, my bio, where I'm playing to your day, it's everything.
If you haven't seen that too, I gotta go do that.
All right.
Well, Haley, safe travels to you.
Thank you so much for taking time to join us.
It's always fun to get to know artists because, you know, I've been, I've been doing radio for 40 years and I'm, I don't, I don't want to set a precedent here, Haley.
But I have a little bit of a history of interviewing people and then they kind of go big.
Jake Owen, I did that right one-eight second ride came out.
Scottie McCreary.
Matthew Ramsey, I interviewed him before he even ever became a star.
So Haley, don't forget the
little
to take that role.
I'm going to take it and roll with
Thank you so much.
Stand.
You
And you need an update on the weather that's coming.
When is the rain going to hit?
How hard will it hit?
That kind of info coming up next along with a word from sponsors.
And we're not done yet for the day.
Gray here sticking around for another minute.
And Joel will be broadcasting live later in the day from Wheelway Auto.
WIAA High School Sports is brought to you by Heckman Auction.

and by Longer United Booster Club.
Now, all the excitement of WIAA High School Sports.
Welcome, everybody.
Jeff Hakin and along with Nathan Pottawell, too.
We're at Longer's camp here tonight in Phillips, Wisconsin.
It is...
the Phillips loggers hosting the Hurley North Stars in eight man football action conference match up here tonight.
And a lot of people are talking about this one as this is a conference here.
I think we're going to have something to say about that as well.
It's going to be a good matchup.
They look like some big, strong kids.
We're going to see how the Phillips loggers are able to hold up against right there.
That's a big part.
If you can get way better the ball here tonight with a little bit ahead of Steen, the other team is going to be in trouble, waits a tough guy to bring down here.
But they just went through the starting lineups, national anthems, and they must have done the tip or the coin flip here.
And I believe
is that the loggers are going to be back to receive.
So the loggers are going to receive the kick here to start out and it's way better back deep for the Phillips loggers.
And he's going to start loggers going to start things out here tonight.
It's a I want to say it's a beautiful night.
It feels nice and temperature wise.
It's kind of calm, but we got storms coming that they're talking about.
So we're keeping an eye on that.
Hopefully it misses us somehow or holds off or no lightning so that we can play through this here right now.
But it's going to be the Hurley North Stars.
kicking off from right to left in front of us here in their white uniforms orange tops not used to seeing that the loggers all in black looking sharp looking scary here's the kick a little pooch over the top Kenny Drexler is gonna let this one go out of bounds the flag goes down and they're gonna get it I think they have a few options I forget what it is here but they're gonna be able to take it at the 35 or 10 yards up I don't know Mick what is the rule we'll find out in a minute or a re-kick that's the other option as well that's right
So it's going to be loggers football to start out here nonetheless as it went out at about the 25 yard line, I believe.
35.
And the loggers are going to take it from there at the 35 yard line.
So it's their own 35 yard line.
Loggers working from left to right in front of us here.
And it is going to be Kenny Drexler in the backfield by himself.
He's got Trace Calhoun to his right.
Wade Vetter in motion.
They're going to give it a Wade on this right side.
Wade Dodge is a guy, but Hurley has a couple.
Defenders right there Wade doing a nice job jumping over the first defender.
He's tackled look for maybe a yard He picked up gonna bring up a second down and nine here from the loggers own 36 yard line and Back up to the line of scrimmage.
They go who's that center out there Nate?
And it's gonna be a snap to Calhoun Calhoun
Almost breaks through.
Everybody gets a nice ten yard run, picks up the first down.
Trace Calhoun getting a full head of steam and picking up that first down.
Loggers got some nice junior running backs out there.
Trace Calhoun, Wade Vetter, along with the senior Kenny Drexler.
Kenny playing the quarterback position.
Think it's Henry.
Yeah, I think you're right.
Stepping up to the line.
It is.
The center for the Loggers.
It's going to be Vetter in the background.
It's going to be a direct snap to Wade Wade.
And he's going to work left side.
Wade gets a couple yards.
Hurdles over a few guys still on his feet.
He's picked up a loss of ball and I think Hurley might have jumped on it.
Hurley got it.
And who are they going to give it to?
We'll
see who they haven't announced who it's going to go to.
I thought Hurley jumped on it.
Wade looks a little
shaky.
They still haven't said who it goes to.
It must be the loggers ball yet.
Somehow the logger's got it.
Yeah, Wade shook up a little bit.
He's kind of limping off of there.
Wade worked really hard for those nine yards.
And did they pick up a first down on that?
And no they didn't.
Okay, so it's gonna be not a first down.
It's gonna be what a third down.
Second and two, I think it
is.
Third and two it would be.
Second and two, you're right.
Second down and two coming up here.
Maybe three.
And all the way into the...
Hurley, North Star's territory at the 46 yard line.
It'll log us up to the line of scrimmage here.
Drexler from the shotgun.
Got Calhoun to the left.
And it's gonna be Drex snapped.
Calhoun, Calhoun.
Up the middle, he's hit by a storm of Hurley defenders.
The North Star is attacking as well.
Five defenders on him.
Blew through that line of scrimmage, got the tackle.
It's going to be a no game, maybe a loss of a half yard, third down in three coming up here, 10 minutes, 22 seconds to go here, first half.
And it feels like this game is already going faster that last game in three lakes in eight.
That was about the slowest game.
Maybe we are past the ball a lot, a lot of incompletions in that game here.
Here the loggers running the ball, a steep pre-course staple, and it's going to be a fumble.
Down on the field Cal who dives on it.
Oh in the water They go from a second down and two off that nice run all the way back It's going to be a fourth down in about 15 now off of a fumble and the fumble was off of the direct snap third down Third down okay third down No fourth down eight up it was All right, so back in their own territory here now way back in their own territory Fourth and 13 will call it fourth and 14
Loggers they're gonna go for it Drexler all alone in the backfields.
They got that long distance play they need And it's called give it to Wade Wade better right side gets around the corner cuts back in he's tackled after about a pickup of maybe three four yards We'll give him four yards on that one and the north stars get the tackle.
It's gonna be a turnover on downs It's gonna be Hurley north star football here coming up 914 to go here in this first quarter zero to zero is the score and
It's a game of the year so far for both teams.
The North Stars, they're going to get the ball starting out here first and 10 at the Loggers 46 yard line.
So good.
Starting possession here for the North Stars.
They got a receiver wide to the left.
Nate can have to help me give some of these names here.
Quarterback we've got here and direct snap to him.
He picks it up up the middle.
He goes and he's met right away.
Derek Pisco diesel.
He tackles them.
No gain.
And that's Max Coodle Coodle cuddle cuddle cuddle cuddle.
We're probably getting wrong.
Sorry Max 9 minutes to go under 9 minutes to go clock is ticking a second down and 10 coming up here maybe a 9 From about the 46 yard line 45 and a half yard line from the shotgun.
Here's Hurley
and direct snap to the back here up the middle.
He goes in a nice 11-yard pickup.
That's Charlie Han, Hanon.
Charlie Hanon.
And that was a nice run for
Hanon.
That was
a
quickness, showcase in his athleticism there.
The North Stars, it looks like they're going to have quite a few athletes to attack the loggers defense here.
And it's going to be a first in 10-year from the 35-yard line, early driving.
Max Cuddle from the shotgun and it's going to be a direct snap to Gilbertson.
Gilbertson, he pushes ahead for a couple, maybe not a couple, maybe one.
It's going to be second nine, we'll call it maybe second ten.
He didn't pick up too much on that.
And we're going to be right at about the 35 yard line.
Up to the line of scrimmage they come.
This rain holding off.
You can see the clouds here, Nate.
And direct snap.
Looks like kind of a broken play.
But nonetheless, Hurley going up that right side down the sideline.
Looks like they pick up about seven, eight yards.
And I think that was Charlie Hennan.
Hennan again.
And he's got some speed out there.
I remember him from last year, Nate.
And it's going to bring up a third down.
We'll give it a third and two here.
all the way down at about the 26 yard line of the loggers.
Seven minutes, 20 seconds to go here, all tied up at zero, no score yet, first quarter.
And the North Star step up to the line of scrimmage.
And it's Kudle from the shotgun.
He's going to keep it himself, goes up the middle, met right away and tackled by a couple of linemen there.
And in the middle, that one Kenny Drexler, the quarterback getting his nose dirty.
Kenny Drexler, the senior, it's time to shine.
Ankle looks good, huh?
Ankle's feeling better.
Kenny, my ankle is fine, Drexler.
It's good enough to play football.
All right.
Once in a while, got to take off day work, though.
All right, here's Hurley, first in 10.
And it's going to be handoff right side, finding a hole and picking up maybe seven with Gilbertson.
And we're seeing a few backs here getting a lot of the handles here Gilbertson, Hannon, Caudill.
And it's going to be about a second and five now from the 20 yard line for the Hurley North Stars.
Six minutes, 20 seconds to go here first quarter.
Zero to zero is the score early.
Up to the line of scrimmage.
Look like the Cleveland Browns out there and a handoff up the middle looks like a Steve pre-core type of an auction offense We're gonna get a flag on the play and the flag was a little bit late so a little interested to see what this one's gonna be
and Please
man to get a face mask on the defense almost was thinking it was something on the defense how it was thrown out there So it's gonna move them back probably about half the distance
as they were at the 15 yard line.
So it's going to bring up a first in 10 here for the Hurley North Stars.
I think they're going to be at what, the 7 yard line?
We'll see where they spot it.
Looks like the 10.
I don't know how that worked.
Maybe they were at the 20.
OK, so from the 10, the North Stars up to the line of scrimmage.
And it's going to be Hanon gets it, cuts to the middle, tries cutting back the right side and can't get through the arms of Kenny Drexler.
Kenny.
Getting his hands he's always been a good defender a sure tackler and Kenny gets the stop after a pick up about three yards second and Gosh it they can get a first down at the looks like the one yard line So it's a second and seven coming up here From their own or from the loggers 19 yard line Gilbertson Cottle in the backfield
Cattle gets it.
He's going to keep it himself.
Go left side trying to get around the corner.
He does get to the corner of the end zone.
Touchdown.
Hurley North Stars, they get on the board first six to nothing.
504 to go here in this first quarter.
And the Hurley North Stars look pretty sharp on the offense here in this first drive.
And they're going to go for the two point conversion likely because that's what we see.
All the time, unless you're playing, who was that team?
Was that Gilman was putting up some field goals?
Three likes, two?
I guess they got nothing better to do than Gilman, so kick field goals.
All right, here we go.
Going for the two-point conversion.
And it's going to be a handoff right side up the middle, I should say, and gets in for the two-point conversion that was Boyd Bodin, Gilbertson.
Bodine, B-O-D-Y-N.
What's his name?
I don't know.
Alright, touchdown.
Extra points good.
It's 8-0 and Hurley leading the loggers.
You're 5-0-4 to go.
We're going to send it back to 98-Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one-minute timeout.

Welcome back everybody.
Jeff Hakin and Nathan Pondell up here at Lagerkamp in Phillips, Wisconsin.
Eight man varsity football action.
Five minutes to go here in this first quarter.
It's the Hurley North Stars with an eight nothing lead over the Phillips loggers.
And we just had a Kenny Drexler kick return.
Brought it back.
Nice little return from Kenny up to about the 43 yard line.
And the loggers gonna start out their offense.
Kenny Drexler in the backfield all by himself.
He's got better to the left in motion.
Fakes it.
He's going to keep it himself better up the middle better.
I should say Drexler up the middle picks up for nice little run there.
Kenny Drexler.
And it was the.
The fake handoff to better who you really got to keep your eyes on.
And Kenny kept it himself.
Can he get some play here from coach pre-core.
And come in breaking the huddle up to the line of scrimmage.
They go.
And Kenny Drexler in the backfield by himself.
He's got Vetter and Calhoun to his left.
Kenny going to keep it himself up the middle left side.
He goes, there's a flag.
Kenny gets the first down and some more chugging along.
Oh, there's probably going to be a call.
Not so good for the loggers.
So flag, what's it going to be holding?
Of course.
And it's going to back the loggers up.
A nice run for Kenny.
Negated.
It's going backwards.
They're going to be back at right around probably the 37 yard line, I'm guessing.
We'll see how far they bring them back.
They're right there.
37 yard line, we'll say.
And the loggers bite themselves in the ankle here and move themselves back, second down, coming up here, second to about 15.
And loggers are going to need to make up half of this right here.
Give me four.
Give me four.
We need at least four.
Wade Vedder says, I'll go the whole way.
Here we are.
Drexler from the shotgun.
Gonna give it to Calhoun left side.
Calhoun spins around.
He's tackled.
No gain.
Maybe he lost.
Oh, you lost.
It's gonna be a third and 17.
Going the
wrong way.
Calhoun was wrapped up there.
It's hardly plain tough.
Your first quarters belong into them.
337 to go.
And it's an eight to nothing lead.
for the Hurley North Stars over the Phillips loggers.
A season losing, losing a lot of guys.
JJ Hakin, Aron DeLaschi, Sawyer, you know, it's, it's a bit of a younger team here.
Ben Verna, Gallon Chuzzle, Kyle Seidenbender.
There was a lot of them and a lot of guys with first time playing experience out here are very limited.
So they're doing a good job considering and they are going to, Kenny Drexler is going to air it out.
He goes way
back, makes the cap, down the sideline.
He goes 15, 10, 5, getting the edge on Wade.
He does.
Wow Wade that was a big boy play right there Wade got under it Kenny Drexler aired it out and Wade
runs down the field.
And you don't know how tough that was for Wade to get in the end zone.
They caught him from behind.
He had to stiff arm a guy and stomp in the corner of the end zone.
And he did it in a pretty special way, looked pretty confident the way he stomped his foot.
Two point conversion coming here.
Calhoun keeps it himself.
He is tackled right away.
Lawyers get on the board.
Those six to eight is the score here.
We're going to send it back to 98 Q country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

Jeff Haken and along with Nathan Padawals here at Lager Camp in Phillips, Wisconsin.
Three minutes to go here in this first quarter, the Lager's getting back into this ball game.
Big touchdown pass from Kenny Drexler to Wade Vetter.
But what was that?
It had to have been 60 yards.
I'm not really sure.
Either way, they're at the 35.
They're 35, so 65 yarder for the Lagers or for Wade Vetter on that reception.
And it's going to be Lager's football here at the 51 yard line.
Finally been waiting for that one here early at their own 51 yard line and it's going to be direct snap and going up right side is Gilbertson and Hurley's got three big running backs powerful running backs able to do the job and Loggers do as well.
These ones are strong big guys and They're attacking the whole hard here picked up five yards on that one
And it's going to be a second down and five from the 46 yard line of the loggers.
Hurley driving from right to left in front of us.
Hurley in their orange helmets, white uniforms looking a lot like the Cleveland Browns of old.
And it's left side and there's Hannon down the sidelines, got the corner and stepped out of bounds.
And I was almost gone for the touchdown.
And he's showing himself as the fastest guy out on the field here when the Hurley offense is out there.
And he can really fly.
And he got around that corner.
I was looking for Trayvon, giving a nice shove out of bounds there.
And he got that corner, though.
Hannon.
Doing his job.
They got to find a way to stop him, Nate.
We're going to see if they can.
Two minutes, 13 seconds to go here.
First and 10 coming up here.
From the 25?
About the 25 yard line.
Early.
with the balls.
Gilbertson right side trying to push through the line.
He's wrapped up, tackled, picks up maybe four.
It's going to be a second down and seven from the 22 yard line.
Two minutes to go here now, first quarter.
And incoming is the young Dylan Seidenbender.
Just a freshman.
We're going to be hearing his name a lot.
Big brother Kyle's graduated last year.
And
see if Dylan can get his nose in there.
Get a stop.
You see him do have a nice game against three lakes.
Getting his nose in there.
Here's Hurley.
And up the middle he goes.
And just when I set it there, he goes.
Dylan, the Sidon Bender.
He heard me.
He heard me down there.
Dylan, getting his nose in there, doing Dylan Sidon Bender things.
And Dylan gets in there.
Wraps him up gets the tackle for a loss Give me some refreshment out there minute 12 to go 8 to 6 is the score Loggers trying to get a stop here on Hurley.
They're gonna have to do two more times here They're down coming up from the 27 yard line When the shotgun they're gonna give it to Gilbertson up the middle he chugs and he's wrapped up picks up a couple only
Logger's doing a nice job.
It's going to bring up a fourth and ten here.
Hurley not scared of this situation at all.
44 seconds and counting.
They'll get one more playoff.
And at the end of this corner here, we'll be sending it back.
But a nice first quarter here by both teams.
We talked about it at the start.
Some people talking about this.
This is a game with the Wins Conference right here.
I said Riv Lake.
They're going to have something to say about it too, but we'll see.
And they're playing it's like a heavyweight fight out here hurly up to the line of scrimmage 20 seconds to go The three backs in the backfield Gilbertson Hannon Cotto and What happened there a timeout maybe?
And it was a timeout you're called with nine seconds to go here and we're gonna send it back here to 98 Q country and on the civic media app for a one-minute timeout

Welcome
back everybody.
Jeff Hakin and Nathan Padawals here in Phillips, Wisconsin.
And here is Hurley trying to get a touchdown pass on the last play and broken up over there.
And that was junior Kennedy breaking up the pass play right there.
And Hurley was going for it.
They had, they had to
get 10
yards.
Turn over on Darnes.
They had to get 10 yards on that play.
And you know, to them, they're like, Hey, an interception is just the same as, uh,
You know, a little punt there, so they weren't afraid to throw it.
Smart play there by Hurley.
It was incomplete.
It's going to be Lager's football here.
Two seconds to go in this first quarter, and they're going to be starting out from about the 26 yard line, 25 yard line.
And Drexler in the backfield for the Lagers all by himself.
Got veteran Calhoun back there.
Drexler going to keep it himself up the middle.
He goes, picks up maybe one and brought down by a handful of North Star defenders, and that's going to be the end of the first quarter.
It's eight to six, the North Star's leading the Phillips Loggers here at Logger Camp in Phillips, Wisconsin.
We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute
timeout.

Jeff Haken and Nathan Padawals here in Phillips, Wisconsin.
Just getting a few sprinkles.
We're seeing the umbrellas come out here.
No big deal so far here, but second quarter underway shortly here.
It is the Hurley North Stars with an eight to six lead over the Phillips loggers.
And it's going to be loggers football here coming up, switching sides of the field.
So it's loggers working from right to left in their black uniforms, black helmets.
Early North Stars in their white uniforms, black letters, orange helmets.
Here's Drexler, direct hand out there, gonna give it to the counter, to Valor.
Left side, know that Calhoun, Calhoun, up his left side, the 30, the 30 tackles from behind at about the 36 yard, 26 yard line.
Trace Calhoun, got on his horse, down that left side, and a big play there for the Loggers.
11-50 to go here, second quarter, and Calhoun with a big run.
Trace's biggest run of the season here so far for him And he blasted through there that counter play always works so well For the loggers has for years.
I remember it was will knack way back when and all the way down every year There seems to be someone new for it.
Here's Drexler.
He's gonna keep it up the middle But that defensive line got through and tackled him for a no game And it's gonna be a second down coming up second down and ten
From about the 27 yard line 27 yard line of the North Stars Loggers in their huddle here Big play capability from both teams.
We've seen it and that's really what you get in eight man football a lot of fun about it You see a lot of big touchdown runs and play McCoy DeLaskey reminds me of Mike Webster going up to that line of scrimmage every time
Old heads know who that is here.
Go Kenny left side trying to get around the corner.
He's wrapped up Maybe gets back to the line of scrimmage right in front of kick coach pre-core And it's gonna bring up a third down and probably ten Coming up here after that big run from Calhoun Loggers Stumped a couple plays in a row here.
So third and ten coming up.
No way the veteran field has been off for this series.
Oh interesting.
Okay.
Yeah, I see Wade there
Wade looks fine.
He's moving around here.
So see why coach has him out No, it's Wade better could be anything Wade a super athlete freakish at the freakish athlete.
Absolutely Really fun watching him this year Drexler could be a direct snap left side and oh and a loss on that one And who was that one right there running that one 18 so that was Matthew Novak Novak
Getting a run here and now it looks like Vedder is going to go back in.
So Novak giving Vedder a break on that play and fourth and long coming up here.
And there's one play for this situation here right here.
Give it to Wade.
Give it to Wade is exactly right.
That's what I would do.
Say Wade.
Go make a Wade-Vedder type of a play.
945 to go here.
Eight to six is a score.
Hurley leading.
Drexler in the backfield.
All alone and a whistle was blown.
Delay of game on the loggers.
Going to back him up.
Ouch, that hurts.
Back him up five yards.
Going to make it a fourth and right around 20.
Maybe fourth and 19 officially.
Nine minutes, 30 seconds to go.
Clock is ticking.
Drexler All by himself gonna throw it right side.
It's gonna be a trick play better on that right side trying to come back left side He's wrapped up can't get out of the flag down though a flag there probably gonna be a holding We'll see what the flag is So those yellow shoes I see out there always look like a flag to me as well And it's gonna be a penalty decline it was on the loggers
And it's going to be a turnover on downs.
It's going to be North Star's football here at their own 35-yard line.
Nine minutes, 13 seconds to go here.
Second quarter, eight to six.
A few sprinkles.
It looks like a few sprinkles sitting in the booth here.
They might say it differently out there.
It's not bad.
It's not bad we hear.
It's not bad.
Says the gal in the umbrella.
9.13 to go.
And here we go.
And it is a pass play that slipped out of the hands and a nice pass there from the quarterback Max Cottle and slipped out of the hands of the receiver.
I don't know who that might have been, Schilling West Schilling.
It was.
It was.
And one of the Schilling boys out there and Cully plays basketball with a younger sister of West.
And it's going to bring up a second down.
And hey, that then went.
The wet here is going to affect in this game a little bit with that passing game.
Harder to catch the ball, harder to throw the ball, harder to hold on to the ball as well.
9-0-9 to go here.
Here is Hurley, hand off, left side handed.
He's going to come back right side.
Or if he would have gotten loose out of that tackle, a shoestring tackle there by Calhoun probably saved a touchdown because Hanon, he can go the distance at any moment.
And it's going to bring up a third and seven.
Coming up here for the North Stars 847 to go in this second quarter Early coming out of the huddle working from left to right in front of us here It's a beautiful sight if you're in the bush or in the booth with the rain coming down the lights are out The North Stars in them you want to see those white jerseys dirty as can be they're gonna throw it again and a little over the head of Hannon and it's gonna bring up a fourth and seven coming up here
Hurley taking some shots here in the rain.
Interesting strategy.
Eight and a half minutes to go.
And Hurley leading by two.
Okay, with me, I mean.
Hurley, they're going to come up here again.
A fourth down coming up here.
See if they've got a play in check here.
They've got athletes to do a lot here.
It looks like they're kind of in pun formation.
I don't believe them.
Can he get up there?
Can he back deep?
to receive for the loggers.
And it's gonna be Hanan.
And he is gonna punt it.
Punt this one deep.
Drexler, he's way back.
Can he cause the fair catch?
Off his chest and caught by Hurley.
And can he watch that one back?
But bounced off his chest is this rain.
Probably play or taking a tour.
But that one bounced off his chest and it's gonna be a huge play.
For Hurley, Hurley North Stars, they're going to start out here first in 10 from about their own.
Are they at the 25 yard line?
I'm thinking, I think that is maybe 26.
25.
We're
going to say 26 yard line.
First in 10 coming up for them.
Gilbertson, Hannon, Connell in the backfield for the North Stars.
It's going to be a handoff.
to Gilbertson tries chugging up field he's wrapped up but he picks up a few maybe four we'll give him four on that one it's going to be a second six coming up here from the 23-ish eight minutes to go here second quarter six or eight to six the north stars are leading the Phillips loggers
every time the loggers get something going they do something to shoot
themselves in
the foot
yeah Wade had that fumble early on
Kenny's got this fumble
Kenny's got this fumble right here
Whether maybe play a factor now what kind of bounce stuff is just so And here we go all three but in the backfield for the north starts going to be handing the direct snap He keeps it left side.
He said Kenny says he didn't like that play where he turned it over there a nice tackle nice hit Kenny Drexler Kenny he's going to be a leader in tackles in the conference here by the end of the season one of the leaders He's got his nose in on everything
Kenny, my ankle is fine today.
Drexler.
He gave him some grief about that at work.
He's never going to live that one down with you.
No, he's not going to call in about an ankle injury no more.
Here we go.
Seven minutes to go here.
Hurley with the ball.
Drex snap and it's going to be Gilbert said he tried getting a full head of steam.
He took like a couple steps back and then ran it ahead and picked up a few yards here.
and we have that right it's going to be a fourth down coming up here
fourth and about two
fourth and about two big play coming up here for both teams and so deep in loggers territory they're down at about the 15 or what do they have the 18 yard line about the 18 yard line so it's a really deep in loggers territory and all three backs in the backfield for
The North Stars and it's gonna be Gilbertson that ends up getting it.
I don't know if he got it all he did Looks like he did get the first down.
It's hard to tell from up here, but looks like he got it And a big play there for Gilbertson and this Hurley North Stars offense six minutes 14 seconds to go in the second quarter Hurley has that two-point lead and Running some time off of the clock here and trying to get into the end zone.
It's gonna be a big possession here for the North Stars
Six minutes to go Here's Cottle gets a snap.
There's a flag That stops the play before it starts a full start on the on the offense.
So Hurley gonna be backed up five yards In penalties are so huge It's gonna be a first in 15 coming up for the North Stars on the full start Five fifty three to go clock is ticking
8 to 6 is that score.
A nice attendance here.
Hurley, you know they're going to travel well.
A football tradition over there.
They're going to support their football team.
Phillips, you don't have to go far to travel here, but you know, a nice crowd here tonight.
It's got a football atmosphere.
Nate, we always talk about his cheerleaders over on the other side.
We like seeing that
bringing
the energy.
And what happened?
I was talking there, Nate.
Another another false start on Hurley, so they're going to be moved back five more yards.
And do we have a first and 20 coming up?
So I think
it is.
Yeah, we were able to hit the concessions here.
Hey, we had a lot going on.
Volleyball was going on.
We got to go watch my daughter Cully and the Phillips did very well against Rib Lake earlier today here in middle school.
Volleyball, that was fun to watch.
And then we come over here.
for some football action here.
Lots of sports going on here tonight in Phillips.
517 to go.
Here is the North Stars with the ball.
And I thought that was a pick play over there.
They got away with
it.
They're going to get a
touchdown on this one.
And it was a pick and a hold should have been.
North Stars, they get the touchdown.
Landon Christopherson.
Yep.
Christopherson with the touchdown.
And early going to go ahead here 14 to 6 or 12 to 6.
No.
Sorry.
14-6 should be the score.
And they're going to be going for two points here.
Early gets the touchdown.
I'm going to call that a cheat play.
And nonetheless, they capitalize.
Here we go.
And a direct snap and taken down and tackled hard over there on that left side was McCoy-Dalasky.
Sure looked like McCoy.
It was McCoy-Dalasky.
a big tackle from the big McCoy-Dalasky, the real McCoy-Dalasky.
And with 502 to go, it's 14 to 6.
I don't think it should be.
I think Hurley got those points, whatever.
All right, we're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for one minute.
Time out.

Back
everybody, Jeff Hakin and Nathan Pado up here in Phillips, Wisconsin.
It's the Hurley North Stars with a 14 to six lead over the Phillips loggers.
Four minutes, 40 seconds to go here in the second quarter and the game's still going on here.
We may or may not have seen a lightning strike, but we're going to keep this game going four and a half minutes to go.
And it's going to be a reverse here on the know.
It's a keeper up the middle and Calhoun is going to hold on to the ball.
And he was wrapped up.
It's going to be like a four yard loss on that.
Trace Calhoun had nowhere to go.
He was wrapped up tight.
Four minutes, 19 seconds to go.
Drexler back onto the field.
and bringing the play in here.
Four minutes to go.
Little more.
We're going to keep a blind eye to them.
Bright lights in the sky here and Drexler back the pass.
Get this one deep.
I added a pack and tackled.
Nice job there for the longest completion major.
That's Mark Hoagland.
Mark Hoagland's made some nice catches here.
And 351 to go.
14 to 6.
Is the score the loggers getting a nice first down completion there Mark Hogan ahead of the pack gets it all the way down to the 40 yard line 40 yard line of The Hurley North Stars and Drexler again with Calhoun to his right better to his left And it's gonna be a direct snap to Calhoun Calhoun chugs ahead picks up maybe a couple It's gonna be a second eight now from about the 38 yard line 319 to go
Loggers And the score here.
Yeah, he got a score really really got a score.
I got
to kick it off at half don't
they?
Yeah,
so
Plenty of time here three minutes to go easier said than done the loggers have been able to get one two big plays per possession They got to put a couple in a row together
Still no way better out there.
Yeah.
Oh, no way it out there yet.
Okay.
Well
He's off here off to our left.
All right Okay, so he's got a hamstring pole they're talking about and it's gonna be Calhoun again
I'm this reverse to the left side can't know where to go and That's going to bring up a third down Third down I'm feeling a pass play coming up here without veteran there right now.
I feel like they're They're like a like a like a hurdle lions just ready to attack on the loggers with no better and See some crowd moving here a little bit.
I'm sure what's coming here
Huh?
Oh, it's parents night.
I thought everyone was scattering for some unknown reason, but it's parents night.
Nobody gave me the note and Calhoun's gonna make a pass ahead.
A beautiful one.
Drops, but he has he was hit.
That was a nice try there from the loggers.
That was Caden Morgan hit as he caught it.
And that's gonna bring up a fourth down here for the loggers now.
So parents night here tonight.
The kids will be coming out at halftime with their parents.
Is it an extra long halftime then, Mike?
Probably not.
We'll scoot it right along.
Two minutes to go here, guys, in this second quarter.
And did we get a timeout?
It looks like we did get a timeout.
It's 14 to 6 here.
The Phillips vloggers are down right now to the Hurley North Stars.
We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

Welcome back everybody.
Jeff Haken and along with Nathan Padawilts here.
Two minutes to go here in this second quarter before the half here.
The loggers on a fourth and eight.
Trying to get a first down here.
Caden Borgin, he's going to throw one deep down that left side.
Oh, it's just ahead of Hoagland.
Unable to make it work and it's going to be a turnover on downs.
It's going to be Hurley football now here with a minute 59 to go.
Parents night coming up here at the half.
It was always fun.
We got to do that last couple of years with JJ, BJ.
I think we got to get a flower, candy bar.
I don't know.
I don't even think I got either of them.
Either way, it's Hurley football, first in 10 from their own 38 yard line.
Laugher's defense up in the line of scrimmage, ready to go, led by Big, the real McCoy, McCoy DeLaskey, Derek Piszka.
Who else we got up there?
20 something.
Here we go.
Here's Hurley from the shotgun, looking to pass deep, looking for Hannan and out of his hand, slips through his hands, a high pass and would have been about a nine yard completion.
And instead, with a minute 54 to go here, it's going to be second 10 for the North Stars.
They're going to try to pass the ball down the field.
Like getting the ball.
Into the hands of Hanon the senior running back.
We remember seeing him last year making plays And here is Gilbertson in the backfield here and it's gonna be Hanon left side and gets away from the defender going right side this way it gets to be trouble and he's got a penalty Marker on the field.
He brings it all the way up to the 35 yard line of the loggers, but bring it back young man
And that's the only problem when you go to one side of the field and come back the other way, you're going to get a hold.
And we see that Coach Steve Precar says, bring it back.
Early on that nice run, it's going to come back.
Minute 44 to go.
They're trying to score here before this end of this half.
And that big first down run is going to turn instead into a second down and long for the North Stars.
Loggers desperately need a stop here because they're gonna get the ball again here hurly is to start out the second half.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm just happy the officials didn't see the lightning because we're just cruising along on a half hour delay.
We're gonna get home.
Uh-oh.
Hey,
sometimes they miss a call.
Sometimes it's the right call to miss.
Here we go.
From the shot cut.
And look at the passes.
What deep know he's going to keep it and run up the field and tackle.
Oh, wow.
McCoy-Dulaski wrapped him up through him down hard.
And that was Cottle, the quarterback, trying to make a play there.
McCoy-Dulaski.
Going to call his name a lot here this season.
The senior.
Derek Piszka.
Doubt on that front line.
Along with Will Piszka.
Will Piszka has been a pleasant surprise to watch here on defense.
Love watching his energies playing on that line of scrimmage.
A strong, wiry kid.
I think he's just a junior playing on that left side trying to get around the corner.
It might have been called for the whole Piszka.
They held Piszka and that's what the penalty flag is going to be here.
They call the grounding.
50 seconds to go.
Potential grounding.
A false start called grounding, but he didn't throw the ball.
I was a little confused on that one and this penalty Penalty was declined It was a forward pass and they blew it dead.
Okay.
Okay.

And is Vetter out of the game here yet?
Yup.
He's right in front of us.
He's right in front of us.
Okay, hopefully Wade gets a little bit better.
He's gimpin' over there.
He was pushing on his back.
Okay, all right, and he's a player.
Who's got that one?
Kenny Drexler!
Getting away from everybody!
He's got to get ahead of handed!
He's not going to be able to a nice tackle!
Kenny Drexler, big run, 26 seconds to go.
He brings it all the way down to the 35 yard line of the Hurley North Stars.
Kenny Drexler on his horse.
Hannon was out in front.
You're not gonna get ahead of him and he made a nice touchdown saving tackle And loggers they got time 26 seconds to go can they get it into the end zone?
That's windows so dirty
filthy window Nate There
you
go gonna make the people happy Here is the loggers up to the line of scrimmage Drexler in the backfield
And it's going to be handoff.
No, he's going to keep it himself up the middle.
He goes, he's going to pick up a few, maybe five, six.
Tugging along, 19 seconds to go.
Probably a timeout coming here.
And it was.

And a couple of plays to do in here.
We'll see what Coach Precor has up his sleeve.
Wade Vetter on the sidelines that don't help the loggers got to find ways to score here Especially in the second half if he's unable Drexler is going to keep it up the middle He goes gets around this left corner couple guys to beat and he's wrapped up and tackled five seconds to go and Coach pre-core might have another timeout in them I think he does and he's going to call the timeout here.
Yes
He did.
Okay.
Timeout is called here with four seconds to go.
It's 14 to six.

a

And he came back almost made the big catch.
It went through his hand.

Jeff Hakin and along with Nathan Padawals here at logger camp in Phillips, Wisconsin.
And, uh, you know, we were excited, uh, bring the second half coming up here soon.
We're on a 30 minute, uh, rain delay here in lightning strikes and, um, they missed the first
two.
There might have been more than that, but they were, uh, pretty blatant, but that will happen.
But, uh, nonetheless, going to be on a 30 minutes, um, break here.
So we're going to be, we're going to chat just for a couple of minutes here.
This is the official four bank halftime show and a big touchdown reception from Wade Vetter from Kenny Drexler was the scoring drive for the loggers early on and Wade Vetter now with a hamstring strain.
We're not really sure what's going on.
So he hasn't been in.
I don't think we're going to see him in the second half.
I see him hobbling across the track in front of us.

Welcome back, everybody.
Jeff Hakin and along with Nathan Padoff here at Logger Camp in Phillips, Wisconsin.
And it is the Phillips Loggers taking on the Hurley North Star.
Sorry about that, Taylor.
I was having, he's going to have you shut the door over there, but it's the Hurley North Stars with a 14 to six lead here going into halftime.
They're going to get the ball off of the kickoff here too.
They're going to open up with possession in this second half.
First half, it was a scoring drive by the Phillips Loggers.
It was way better.
on a long touchdown catch reception from Kenny Drexler, the senior throwing it to the junior.
Wade Vetter might have hurt his back on that play.
We're not exactly sure he's not moving too great.
We didn't see him in the end of that second half, and I'm not sure if we're going to see him in this second half.
It's going to be tough coming back without that breakaway speed from Wade Vetter for the Lawyers.
Get back into this game.
Going to be relying on Kenny Drexler.
Trace Calhoun, Caden Morgan and those boys try to get into the end zone.
I'm gonna have to work from behind here down by eight points 14 to six here right now and It's winding down.
They're gonna get back onto the field in a little bit We had a nice little rainstorm a nice lightning storm come through just moments ago a little while ago put us in a 30-minute delay Then a couple more strikes and it backed us up even a little bit more.
So that's why we got this late second half start
But it's going to get underway here in a moment in just a little bit here.
The officials are back out onto the court and are on the field.
I'm ready for basketball season already.
We know that.
And Lauder's fired up here in some energy from their side of the field here.
And they're going to make their way onto the field.
They're going to be kicking off.
It's going to be Kenny Drexler.
He's going to be kicking off.
Probably not deep.
We don't see him ever kick it off too deep.
Little pooch kick loggers trying to steal a possession and The hands team for The Cleveland Browns, I mean the Hurley North Stars down there In their white uniforms orange helmets Phillips loggers all in black here tonight their home uniforms orange lettering black on black and Drexler checks his line
And here a little pooch kick up the middle.
Hurley falls on it and they're going to open up possession here from their own 47 yard line.
First and 10 coming up here for the North Stars.
And they're working in front of us from left to right.
And not a lot of scoring in that first half.
Going to see what this second half does here.
right now and I'm not sure Wade Vetter.
I don't see him on the field.
Do we see him on the field at all?
And anyway, from the shotgun here is Hurley.
It's going to be a handoff on this right side and picking up about four yards is, who was it there?
That's Gilbertson.
Wade is on the bench without a jersey on.
Yep, right there.
Okay, so he's done for the game here.
Check out the way.
And it's going to be hand up hand and up the middle he goes and getting close to the first down.
I don't think he got it as he was down knee down a couple yards short.
They really gave him a good spot.
On the ball, that's how do you defend a buddy yard or two back of that?
It's gonna be a third down coming up and one third and one here from the longers 44 yard line 1103 to go here third quarter Hurley leading 14 to six And from the shotgun Here is coddle and it's gonna hand it off Up the middle coddle.
He runs it up or keeps
it
off.
I
could say and a big
Tackle there on the defense from Kenny Drexler and the rest of that loggers team Trayvon Crystal coming out for a play and It's gonna be Hurley.
They got backed up maybe a little bit there It's gonna be fourth down and about three coming out both a two fourth and two a long two From the loggers 44 yard line 46 yard line Two yards to go here
And they're set up to punt it.
I don't believe they're gonna They might though and here they do and nope It's a keeper like we thought up the middle.
They go on that.
Oh, he might have got it Diddy.
I don't think so.
I think
he's short.
It's gonna be a turnover on down Derek Tishka leading the charge They stopped him short and it's gonna be logger's football
Boy by not by much
not by much at all.
It was close.
It was a nice effort there from North Stars, but the logger stopped them Derek fishka leading away And it's gonna be first and tenure for the loggers just what they need ten minutes to go your third quarter 14-6 We're gonna say that photography flashes in the distance that we're seeing
Ten
ten minutes to go here.
Here is Kenny Drexler from the shotgun.
It's gonna be a direct snap
Up the middle going and a nice run there.
And who was that on that run?
Looks awfully quick there.
And who ran that one there?
That was Dylan Seidenbender.
All right, Dylan Seidenbender, the freshman.
And Seidenbender.
Can't hit that from over here, Nate?
No, no.
And Lager step up to the line of scrimmage.
Dylan there in the backfield.
strong young man he's got some speed got some quickness young raw talent and excited to see what his future brings here back into the backfield he goes and he's gonna keep it right side he goes and cuts it back inside Dylan gets the first down a fumble that was on the ground I believe though he was on the ground he was down yeah so no fumble there it's gonna be loggers football
9-11 to go here it is loggers football first in 10 And it's gonna be
What's
the confusion here Loggers it's got a blogger's football.
I'm right about that correct.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, maybe it's a But they gave it to Hurley after all that you've got to be kidding me
Why
did they not announce that?
Okay, I'm really confused on that one there.
I think that was a botched play completely there.
Hurley got the ball.
I thought the loggers jumped on it.
I thought the loggers were down.
Easily.
I thought he was called down by one of the officials.
After five minutes of delay, a ridiculous call.
Hurley's football, that's a scam.
Right side, he goes for a couple yards.
All right, after that terrible call, nine minutes to go, Hurley's got the ball.
And Lager's defense, they got to make a stop here.
Hurley, they're working here from the 46-yard line, working from left to right here, 842 to go, third quarter, up to the line of scrimmage comes the North Stars.
Lager's defense.
Trying to figure a way to stop this offense here and from the shotgun.
Here's Cottle Cottle he gets it another flash in the background and picks up about four yards a nice stop by the loggers defense Yeah, right here.
I mean photography flashes way in the distance over there And it's gonna be a third down and six maybe coming up along five good five, yeah Call five and a half
from real close to midfield of Hurley's own 49 yard line.
And up to the scrimmage, they go from the shotgun.
Here's Hurley.
It is going to be a handoff.
Up the middle, they go.
It's Gilbertson chugging along and the pile's moving and he might have pushed it past the first down line.
Right to it anyways.
That might be a first out.
742 to go here.
Third quarter, Hurley.
Looks like they're going to move the chains.
And they do, first in ten here.
For the North Stars.
The North, the North Stars have been the North Stars for how many years now?
We would five years at least.
Were they the midgets before that?
It was the midgets before that and the butternut with the midgets as well.
All right, butternut still is.
724 to go here early from the shotgun first in 10 It's going to be hand up up the middle
hand at his
speed.
He picks up eight quick yards Gets up inside the 40 yard line up to about the 38 will say 39 yard line 709 and counting here
And
A second and four coming up from 40 yard line here early out of the timeout or I'm sorry out of the huddle comes back up to the line of scrimmage here.
And studies the field.
Here's Cottle.
And he's looking to pass up this right side.
He's going to lob it over the top.
Tipped away.
Tipped away was that Will Pishka.
I think it was.
No, there was Caden Borgen down there.
That was Caden.
Kaden Borgen making a nice play over in the secondary.
He was waiting on that one.
Smart play there by Kaden.
Not easy.
There's not a lot of pass plays out here.
You
got to be up there to help on the run.
He read that one nicely, stayed back, got a hand on it, tipped it away, and brings up a big third down.
14-6 is the score here.
Hurley, they're going to run it up the middle.
First down is good for Gilbertson.
Shugging along all the way up to the 30 he makes it and first down and moves the chains 633 to go third quarter Both games we have for the loggers so far was in a running clock at this situation.
Yep
We've been through a lightning delay and No running clock
no
running clock
You're gonna get it tonight.
I
don't know running game here.
Are you with between Hurley?
And the loggers kind of similar type offense running the ball throw a few passes in there the clock moves nicely all on its own though In the backfield here all three backs for The North Stars and it's handing up that left side breaks the corner and it looked like he stepped out of down out of bounds He got around the corner there got the first down and was knocked out of bounds Touchdown saving
Push out there for the loggers 553 to go here.
It's going to be first down again for the North Stars They're looking to score another touchdown here Nate 553 to go 14 to 6 is the score Hurley leading 553 in the third quarter
and
From the shotgun here His coddle coddle
And he's going to end up, no, it's Gilbertson ends up running it.
He's stuffed for a loss of about three loggers getting in on that one.
A few loggers there wrapping them up together.
Nice job for our Phillips loggers.
Wade Vedder, we're hoping he is able to recover next week going to need him as this goes along.
The season moves along.
He'll take on Shawamigan next week.
Yeah.
Big inner county game, Shawamigan.
Tomorrow we got a game at locker camp here the Phillips Middle School taking on Who they playing against tomorrow Mike three legs All right and moving the chains here again, no getting close to the first down it's gonna be about a Third down and maybe three two coming up here for the North Stars from where they add over there Nate read about the ten yard line.
Yeah, it's about the nine
But it's going to be Three Lakes Middle School coming into town.
Basically 7th and 8th grade game over here.
That's at five o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
Got a nice message from Steve Hammond.
He's out there listening.
Coach Hammond.
Coach Hammond.
He's going to be here.
Got his boys primed up, ready to go.
Five o'clock tomorrow.
Come on down, guys.
And here's a run up the middle.
It goes and wrapped up and tackled and short.
I believe it's got the first down.
Got the first down on that one inside the bug up to the five yard line.
It's going to be a first in goal from the five four and a half minutes to go here.
And it is the North Stars with the ball.
Looking to score and they get another scoring opportunity.
It's going to be tough for the logger is coming back in this game with no way better.
Up to the line of scrimmage comes the North Stars.
Kodle from the shotgun.
He's going to get it.
No, it's Hannan's got it.
Trying to get around that corner on that left side.
Wrapped up by Trayvon Crystal and a saving touchdown.
Trayvon, nice job.
Trayvon getting a big tackle.
Told me he wanted to hear his name on the radio.
I don't know how he's out there playing, but there you go, Trayvon.
Make a play, young man.
And that in comes Dylan Sidenmender.
Dylan's had a nice game here tonight.
Well, three and a half minutes to go.
Fourteen to six, Hurley leading.
Clock is ticking away here.
Hurley, they're not going to be free to let this clock tick.
To the line of scrimmage, they go second goal from about the one yard line, maybe?
The two?
From the shotgun, Hanon in the middle.
And he's going to get it himself right side.
He goes up the middle and touchdown.
North stars.
North stars with the touchdown, Charlie Hanon.
And he makes it 20 to 6.
They're going to try to make it 22 to 6 in just a moment here.
Two point conversion coming for the North Stars.
And up to the line of scrimmage, they come out of the huddle.
A nice drive here by the North Stars.
And from the shotgun, he's handing in the middle.
He gets it himself.
He's going to keep it up the middle.
He goes, follows his block.
He's tackled.
He got in there.
He got in for the touchdown.
Touchdown, I'm sorry for the two-point conversion.
22-6 is the score here.
Early leading the Phillips loggers with 3-13 to go in this third quarter.
We're going to send it back to 98-Q country and on the Civic media for a 30.
I'm sorry for one minute.
Time out.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Potawatz here at Lager Camp in Phillips, Wisconsin.
Hurley North Stars coming off of that touchdown drive.
They kicked this one out of bounds.
Flag's gonna be thrown in.
Lager's gonna have a couple options.
They'll probably keep it right where it's at.
313 to go here in this third quarter.
Hurley scored a nice touchdown on a nice touchdown drive.
It was Hannon getting into the end zone.
Charlie Hannon, the senior.
for the North Stars.
And the Longers are going to start out here now.
They're really going to need to find a way to pick apart this defense and get up the field without Wade Vetter.
It hasn't been easy.
Six points on the night here.
One, it was a touchdown reception.
And Drexler in the background, he's got, or in the backfield, he's got Borgen with him.
And no, that's Dylan
Sightbender.
He's got
to fall on it.
Dylan, I think, does.
He does falls on it And it's gonna be a big loss there loss of I don't know ten yards at least Gonna bring up a second and we'll see where they spotted looks like a second 20 at least So second 20 coming up
Boy mistakes really cost us tonight having
the yeah, they've been big mistakes.
They've been a turnover, you know couple stuff like that nonetheless Kenny says I got this one
in the backfield Dylan Seidenbender getting split out wide left and Kenny gonna keep it up the middle he goes he's gonna need some big blocks Kenny breaks through a nice run from Kenny picks up about 12 on that run Kenny Drexler getting it back to a little bit more manageable it's gonna be a third and nine coming up third and nine for the loggers
Up to the line of scrimmage.
Come the loggers.
From their own 35 yard line.
Third down and nine coming up.
Here's Drexler from the shotgun and it's going to be a little counter Calhoun going the opposite way.
Jitten pulled from behind.
Both five tacklers got him in.
Was he down?
I don't think so.
Hurley is going to get it.
I believe it was a fumble.
They don't announce which way it goes.
Fumble.
From the loggers, it's going to go to Hurley and it's going to be a first in 10 coming up.
Minute 47 seconds to go in this third quarter.
Loggers fumbled that one away and to the loggers, to the North Stars, it goes.
Ball hasn't been bouncing the loggers
away here
tonight.
A few too many mistakes.
A wet, a wet football.
We don't know if that comes into play a little bit, but a couple too many fumbles for the loggers.
Hurley's football leading by 16 Here's handed he fumbles it this time picks it up.
There's a lot of longers
back.
There we go.
And
who was it McCoy don't laugh, you know real McCoy Or that Derek that was Pishka Derek Pishka jumps on him gets the sack And it's gonna be a
Second down and 20 coming up.
Maybe a second down and 22 coming up say For the North Stars To the line of scrimmage they come Cuddle gets it in the backfielder from the shot or the Shotgun there.
There's a flag a full start though for the North Stars.
It's gonna back them up five yards
So it's gonna back him up even more.
It's gonna be a second down and 27 That's my kind of play Second down and 27 coming up here You know Charlie and it's probably say give me the ball back us up further.
I want a long touchdown run.
He's got that big play ability It's gonna be cool From the shotgun think he's got Gilberts into his right no cool.
He's back to pass
So this went over the middle, that went low, incomplete.
And score here, still 22-6.
51
seconds to go here in the third quarter.
51, I looked up at the clock there, I thought it said there were five minutes and 11 seconds to go and I thought I lost my mind.
That's why I figured I'd say that for
you.
It happens to you too, didn't it?
Under a minute to go here in this third quarter, early, with the third and long here, third and 27.
From the shotgun here's Coodle and then on the right side Coodle gonna keep it himself and up the middle He goes and chugs along.
He's still going he picks up ten yards on that play gonna bring up a Fourth and 12 maybe Maybe more than that fourth and 15 So fourth and 15 coming up here Which makes sense if you picked up 12 yeah
And it's going to be fourth down 15 coming up from the waters.
45 yard line.
They're going to kick it.
See what they do here.
They're not afraid to punt it.
They have done it a lot.
I think being on this side of the field, you go for it.
They're going to run this clock out.
So it goes to the end of the quarter.
So no more plays here in this third quarter.
22 to six is the score of the Hurley North Stars leading.
the Phillips vloggers here going into the fourth quarter.
We're going to send it back to 98 Q country and on the civic media app for a one minute timeout.
Fourth quarter coming up.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Pottawell here at Lagerkamp in Phillips, Wisconsin.
It looks like the North Stars are going to punt here on a fourth and long and they do hand and boots this one.
Looks like it's going to go into the end zone.
It does.
It was a nice punt, but it did go into the end zone.
It's going to be a touchback and this fourth quarter just underway.
Lagers, they've got their work cut out for them here.
Down by 16, it's 22-6.
11-52 to go here in this fourth quarter.
Lager's offense coming on to the field.
It's going to be Kenny Drexler.
Matthew Novak.
Trace Calhoun.
Caden Borgen.
See if they can get going in this fourth quarter.
Mark Oglen.
Mark Oglen.
Mark Oglen can get deep a little bit here.
Might see some passing plays.
And here's Drexler.
He's going to keep it himself out of the shotgun.
Kenny breaks away from a couple tacklers, picks up Ken first down.
Kenny Drexler.
Kenny, he knows what he's got to do.
Kenny's fired up coming out of there.
Ankle feeling good this week.
That is.
They'll probably call him tomorrow.
He will.
So are Ankle tomorrow.
11-40 to go here.
Loggers off of that first down run there from Kenny Drexler, back up to the line of scrimmage from their own 30 yard line.
Jacksler.
He's got the receiver split wide, right?
He's going to keep it himself up the middle.
He goes kind of right side, maybe picked up one.
Early knows what they're trying to do out there.
Ain't no way this hurts.
They're going to stuff this run, hope for the best.
I see some pass plays coming up here.
Lager's going to have to take some risks at some point.
11 minutes to go here.
Fourth quarter.
Drexler trots in with the play Up to the line of scrimmage they go Hurley waiting for him right there at that 30-yard line Drexler all alone in the backfield a couple receivers to the left If he gets it Kenny Looks to throw it.
He's got guys closing in on him.
He's handled these fumbles lost the ball.
I think it's going to Hurley it is
It
is Longers going to Hurley
Kenny was rolling to his left, trying to throw it.
And as he was trying to, he was hit pretty hard, landed funny.
And it is going to be Hurley's football here at the 20 yard line.
Up by 16.
10.
38 to go here.
Another turnover for the loggers.
It's going to be the fourth one tonight,
huh?
Yeah, it's got to be both a fourth fumble.
You're probably right on that.
Kate and Borgon checking in to the game.
Drexler, he's going to get a break for a minute.
Coach Freaker, he's gonna coach them up a little bit on the sidelines.
And Hurley's got that nice group of backs in the backfield.
Kudle, he's gonna know it's gonna be Gilberts and direct snap to him.
Right side he goes following his blockers and he pushes ahead.
Looks like he might have got maybe eight yards on that play.
Ten and a half minutes to go.
Hurley, it's gonna be a second four coming up from the 14.
Just inside the 15 anyways moving from right to left trying to get into that end zone one more time Kudle in the middle.
He's got Gilbertson to his left.
He's got Hannon to his right All in the shotgun Gilbertson get handed off to I'm sorry Kudle get handed off to Gilbertson on that right side No game
Certain five coming up Nate Clock ticking Hurley not gonna be afraid to run some clock off here
Yeah, they're in no rush.
Are they
no rush tonight?
No need to be Try to run that clock down some possessions game from here on out and Hurley steps up to the line of scrimmage From the shotgun it's Kudle in the middle
Gilbert's into the left hand into the right goodl he's gonna go ahead hand and have it left side he goes up the middle kind of it's nowhere Hurley pushes the line ahead and Picks up a couple and maybe a few on that one.
It's gonna be a fourth and two coming up Nine minutes to go Getting close feel like feel like we've been here longer than
Three Lakes game, even.
We had a big long delay here earlier on.
Three Lakes, that game was the slowest moving game.
844 to go here.
Clock is ticking.
Early, they want to stick this game out to the line of scrimmage they go.
Fourth and two coming up.
Big possession here for Hurley.
Goodle.
He's going to go direct snap.
Gilbertson, and Gilbertson, I think he got it.
No, he might be short of it, Nate.
We're going to see right where they put it.
Boy, that's going to be close.
It's going to be close.
I think he's short.
I think he's short, too.
I see that ref is wiggling a little closer down the field, though.
He shuffled his leg a little.
Let's see.
Tell us which way.
They're going to measure.
They're three inches away from it.
Yeah, right.
It's right there.
No good turn over on down turn over on downs.
That's what we thought Hey, we could see it from up here in the booth Turn over on downs loggers get the ball nice job loggers defense.
Hey an impressive job from the loggers defense here all night Let's say that eight and a half minutes to go trying to find something to get going here on offense six points here tonight It was a receiving touchdown to Wade Vetter who's hurt right now and the loggers trying to find a way here to get this offense rolling
They're waiting even on the bench anymore
22 to 6 year loggers down eight and a half minutes to go here It's their ball from about the ten yard line Drexler It's gonna hand it off up the middle and a nice one there.
Who is that?
Is that siding bender?
I can't see can either And no
that was Kenny.
Okay, that
was Kenny.
He couldn't see the number there Nice run there from Kenny picking up the first down moving the chains
Back onto the field he goes
And
up to the line of scrimmage the loggers go eight minutes to go Drexler in the backfield Calhoun to his left.
I believe oh when there's Matthew Novak in And someone jumped there, and I think that was defense that jumped offside that should move it ahead for the loggers Should have been a free play
And it looked like it was the North Stars.
It was on the loggers.
It's on the loggers.
Literally seeing them jump.
All right.
Loggers moving here.
And that's going to back the loggers up five yards.
748 to go.
Loggers just got backed up.
It's going to be a first in 15 coming up now.
And out of the huddle.
Come the loggers.
From where they at Nate?
20 yard line?
From the 20 yard line first and 15.
Here's Drexler from the shotgun.
No and direct hand off to Borgen.
He hands it off to Drexler.
Kenny picks up maybe six on that play.
So Caden playing some quarterback here.
We might see Caden air it out a little bit.
Caden Borgen our quarterback of the future here for the loggers.
Just a sophomore.
Got a really nice spiral throws it down the field really nicely Gonna air it out a little bit in the future here He is in the shotgun Drexler to his right Hoagland as well And up the middle goes candy candy
get away
from candy still chugging gets the first time Kenny having himself a nice ballgame First down Kenny Drexler 650 to go
Gonna need a big play at some point here get some quick yardage Get a chance to get into this game here, but nonetheless.
I like seeing this offense the chains moving
Can we give the Jeff Haken and ripping player game to a person that works for Jeff Haken and roofing
we can't if we can't it would be unprecedented Kenny Drexler leading the way here tonight Jeff Haken and riffing player the game And with Wade being hurt
It's showing in the fourth quarter.
Can he step it out here?
Kind of a man among boys here tonight.
Borgen in the backfield.
He's got side and bender by, and there's going to be a timeout.
Timeout by coach Precourt trying to get things set up here.
615 to go here in this ball game.
Longers call with timeout.
They're losing 22 to 6 to the Hurley Northsars.
We're going to send it back to 98Q country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

And welcome back, everybody.
Jeff Haken and Nathan Padelos here, logger camp in Phillips, Wisconsin, just under six minutes to go here in this ballgame.
It's 22 to six, the North Star's leading the Phillips loggers.
and coming up here right now working from left to right in front of us here it's second down in about 12 from four of the loggers from their own 35 yard line from the shotgun here is borgan that one hits the ground he jumps on it and another loss on the plate going to bring up a fourth down fourth and 15 coming up here for the loggers
Now what, you wanted to see coming out of that time out?
No, not at all.
But you know, he kind of got that vibe of how it's going right now here, Wade out of the game.
They're a little... a little frazzled here right now, a little bit off.
Kenny kind of willing himself to some first downs here on this drive.
We got Calhoun split wide right.
Borgen from the shotgun, he's got Drexler to his left.
Borgen.
with Novak.
Novak, he fumbles it.
Borgen and Novak kind of ran into each other and they'll gain there and that's going to bring up a fourth and 15.
Time to air it out.
I want to see a Kate and Borgen to trace Calhoun down the left sidelines.
Let it fly.
Let it fly.
Loggers up to the line of scrimmage from the 30 From their own 30 fourth and 17 Coming up here Morgan From the shotgun.
He's gonna pass it.
He does nice pass to Drexler on this right side Kenny makes a guy miss two more coming to get him though Kenny can't get the first down but the loggers with a nice completion Kate and Morgan a nice pass to Drexler who gets some yardage on it not enough first down
Hurley, North Star's coming up here under four minutes to go.
It's going to be first down for Hurley at the 40.
Hurley.
They don't need to mate, but they're looking to get in the end zone one more time.
Up to the line of scrimmage they come.
Hurley from the shotgun.
Kudo.
And he's gonna keep it himself bounces off of attack where it gets that right side loses it Mark Hogan it fell right in Mark hands and the loggers come away with a turnover Right into the hands of Mark Hogan on that run and that one just popped out of kudos hands And it's gonna be a first and 10 for the loggers from the 40 yard line three minutes 45 seconds to go loggers down by 18
You need a miracle Nate a miracle
It can happen
Here we go and it looks like Drexler back into the
right on 16.
That's what I said.
How many did I say?
Either way hand up up the middle Calhoun first down.
He's still going he picks up 12 Trace Calhoun and he's stunned Gilbertson on that play right there They hit each other hard trace Calhoun and Gilbertson
Two similar sized kids running into each other.
And first down for the Loggers.
And I think that's Drexler in the backfield.
Is that Kenny back there?
Yep, it is Kenny.
He's going to throw this one deep to Novak.
Novak could get up and get it.
Nice defense from Hurley.
Kenny had a nice throw ahead upfield though.
315 to go.
Loggers, it's going to be...
Second down and 10 coming up from there from early 47 yard line And Loggers Having a little fun here into the game 315 to go airing it out Novak.
He's gonna be split wide right Drexler from the shotgun
Jack sir looking to get rid of it.
He does nice pass ahead caught by Cal rune another first down I believe it was and we got a flag on the field of course holding They sure know how to put a damper in the game 22 to 6 309 to go Loggers moving it back
going the wrong way
going the wrong way
Hey, they were going the right way.
It's a nice reception there.
Nice pass from Kenny to Calhoun.
A holding call in the gate set.
308 to go.
Loggers up to the line of scrimmage.
Second down and 20 coming up here from the 37 yard line to run up the middle for Kenny.
Kenny got a little space on that one and a nice run for Kenny picking up 10 yards and makes it a much more manageable fourth down.
And all six, maybe.
Or
is that a third and six coming up?
Third and six coming up.
Third and five, third and six somewhere in there.
Drexler from the shotgun.
He's going to keep this one himself, gets past a couple of defenders and splits the middle and picks up the first down another ten yard run.
Kenny Drexler, he's locking up that jump taken and ripping player of the game.
And I think he already called in to work tomorrow.
I'm guessing he did.
Kenny, again, up the middle, drag from behind, chug along, Kenny.
Don't stop.
And they blow the whistle, ball dead, 205 to go.
Second down and eight coming up.
Maybe a second, seven.
And up to the line of scrimmage, there you go.
Minute 50 to go and ticking Drexler from the shotgun Here he is looking to pass steps back throws it over the top and an Interception going the other way over the head of Matthew Novak and Trying to run this one back.
He's gonna try to take this one to the house Derek Piska the only one that can stop them Derek diesel Piska get some by the shoelaces Says not in my house.
There's a flag down on
the ground.
There is
Oh, a flag could be coming back to the lockers way unless that's a legal block on the return.
Well, it was during the
return.
Okay.
So the interceptions probably going to stand probably going to be brought back.
Minut 27 to go in this game and a nice interception down there from Landon Christopherson.
And he wanted to take that one to the house.
He wanted an interception return for a touchdown.
And it was a nice tackle there by Derek Tisca, saving it.
They called it against us.
It would be an interesting call if it was a penalty on the loggers.
That's sound because we're the spot
the
ball.
Okay, so minute 27 to go here, Hurley, they're probably going to down it a couple of times
at the nine yard line
and end this game here.
We'll see here, but it was, uh, did they call a timeout there?
Minute 27 to go looks like.
Do we get a timeout on the field?
Hey, we're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media for a 30-second timeout.

And I don't know, we can let this game roll.
Coach Precord calling the time out trying to get something going here.
Couple more play calls.
I guess here we're going to stay right here.
Talk about this a little bit here in 8 minutes 20 to go.
Hey games over here.
Hurley is going to win this ball game here tonight.
It would take quite a few miracles for it not to happen.
I like the longest defense here.
They did a great job tonight holding this Hurley team.
Only 22 points without Wade Vetter on the field for the most part.
Easier said than done, but it was a nice job.
I like seeing Derek
Piszka get in on a lot of them tackles.
I like seeing
McCoy
the last McCoy.
Yeah, McCoy the last getting in on a lot of stuff here.
These seniors stepping up Kenny Drexler though on offense just kind of taking his offense on his shoulders and doing his thing.
Love seeing that right there.
So a pat on the back to our Jeff Haken and roofing player of the game.
Kenny Drexler for the loggers here.
Just playing like a senior tonight and doing his thing.
Kind of a man among boys out there.
Really proud of him.
Minute 20 to go here.
Loggers going to get back onto the field here.
in a little bit here, shortly, what we call another timeout, a back-to-back timeout, what's going on?
You think they did?
We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app, because I think we have another timeout here.
We'll go for a one-minute timeout.

I think so.
Welcome back everybody.
Jeff Hakin and along with Nathan Padawos here at a longer camp.
There's 28 seconds and ticking the Hurley North Stars.
I think they just downed it for the last time.
Maybe they've got to do it one more time.
The final score here tonight though is going to be 22 to 6.
The early north stars, they defeat the Phillips loggers here at logger camp at home here in a great matchup.
It was a lot of fun.
Wade Vetter getting hurt here was a little bit tough for us here tonight.
It was hard to find that offense once he was injured.
That's a ticking down here now.
That's the final seconds.
It's official 22 to six is the final score.
It's a late night.
We're going to have a short.
Post game show here tonight.
Talk about it just for a little bit and we're going to try to get home and get out of here.
There was a lot of delays here at the half with
the
lightning strikes, thunder strikes and whatnot and they have to shut it down for a half hour.
So we're here a little bit late here tonight, but final score here tonight 22 to 6.
The Hurley North Stars defeat the Phillips loggers.
They're shaking hands on the field here right now and a nice job by both teams.
It was Kenny Drexler with a great job on offense here carrying the load here for the loggers once Wade Vetter got hurt before the half and that touchdown pass from Wade Vetter.
or two way better from Kenny Drexler was the only scoring drive in the game for the Phillips loggers.
Um, they scored that six there.
Um, after that early, they put the clamps down on defense and the loggers had a hard time moving.
It found some ways to move the chains, but just not consistent enough.
Every time they did, they had a turnover.
Yeah.
A turnover would kind of hamper it for them.
But, uh, effort was there as it always is, as it always is by a coach pre-core team.
Um, and a nice job.
And we're going to have Schwarmagen in the house next week.
We're at Schwarmagen.
So we'll be there Thursday next week for that.
Bring you that game next Friday.
Good thing you're on top of this up here, Nate.
So final score out here, 22 to six early North Star's defeat the Phillips vloggers.
We're going to send it back to 98 cute country and on the civic media.

Good evening and welcome to tonight's broadcast of boys varsity football here on 103.1 Trail Mix, home of your Shawamigan Screaming Eagles.
We are in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, playing against the Blue Jays here tonight.
Tonight, the game is already underway.
The third play of the game has happened, and it will be now third down in about 12 yards to go for the Blue Jays on offense.
The only thing we've missed so far is Blue Jays started kicking the ball off, but the onside kicked and recovered, and so they start out on offense here today.
After a tackle for loss and a short game here, that brings us caught up to third in about, well, about 11 now.
So either way,
We got ourselves an extended yard situation for the Blue Jays.
Sam, the starting quarterback for the Blue Jays is back in the backfield next to him, he's running back, three wide receiver set, two on the right, one on the left, shotgun, motion left side, coming across, ball hiked, has time, puts the ball in the middle, wide
open, and it's a huge catch, can he take it out the sideline?
He's got one man to beat, he does it, it's a touchdown for the home team Blue Jays.
What a nice pitch and catch there across the field.
It's a quite the post route across the field.
Number 23 is Owen.
Lebscher, I believe is how you say his name.
Lebscher, Owen Lebscher, senior able to get himself on a breakaway route there in the middle of the field.
Nice catch, nice run and that is a touchdown when you gotta have it.
Third and 11 ends up being a TD for Three Lake Blue Jays.
crowd getting into it.
Home home team brain drawn a big crowd.
Everyone still in concessions didn't think they'd see a touchdown that quickly.
They got to get back in their seats because we got ourselves a game.
all right shotgun quarterback by himself three receivers right one left ball hiked it's quarterback draw trying to get up to the two point conversion line he reaches and the ref says he gets in nice job by sam extending for the two point conversion eight to zero
blue
jays over the shamanic and screaming eagles all right what's our response eagles
started out, well, he gave up an onside kick, that's always rough, but you mean you had the tackle for loss and then basically a stuff on the run.
You know, it looked like you were doing okay in control, but you left a wide open, Owen going, screaming down the field, nice catch, nice throw by Sam, and that is where we are right now.
So how will the Swarming and Truman Eagles respond here?
Well, I mean, the first thing to do is actually receive the kickoff.
Basically, it was a nice, to be honest, it was the kicker had in a really good position on side kick, meaning the ball crossed that 10 yard line threshold as the players got there.
And so if the Eagle player doesn't catch it immediately, it's basically free game.
So here comes the other kick.
I imagine it's going to be an onside.
No, it's a nice kickoff.
And over end, it's going to be over DJ's head.
He's going to pick it up, look for his running lane.
Juke's right, gets by a guy, but he cannot get any steam going.
And the three lakes, Blue Jays absolutely surround him, bring him down, and the Eagles are way back in their own territory, starting at what looks to be about the 13 yard line.
So they got a full field to try to respond in kind with 10 minutes and 53 seconds left to here in this first quarter.
Blue Jays lead 8 to 0 over our Eagles.
OK.
Last week, he got their first one of the season.
They're one and one now after having a wonderful offensive juggernaut of a game.
I believe it's 54, 55 points scored.
And so obviously love a repeat here.
And they found a lot of success with the line that they're doing right now with five linemen down, two tight ends, one in each side.
Quarterback shotgun, motion right ball, handed off, cuts it up the center, but not before he's wrapped up and tackled by number 80.
I think that's 87 Bentley Bills.
All right junior six three two fifty got back there quickly was able to wrap up and get the tackle down Now the Eagles are looking at no game.
So second and ten still at their own
13
All
right, 225, or sorry, 1025 on the clock here in the first quarter.
So if you're just joining us here on 13.1 trail mix, haven't missed too much just to score for the Blue Jays.
And now Eagles are trying to do it.
Reverse left to Mark Oskar-Varek, cuts it back inside, has some space, goes back left, is able to pick up a nice gain to really shorten what this third down is going to look like.
So look at about third and four, third and five, kind of given where the ref is going to mark the ball.
And we'll see what that is.
Much more manageable here going forward.
Still got the whole playbook and kind of wonder I mean you're pretty far back So you're not gonna necessarily go for it if you don't get the fourth the furthest right the third down here So let's see what they're gonna do.
They're gonna keep that tight formation still five linemen, but it looks like it's gonna be two tight ends on the left side quarterback and shotgun Ball hike quarterback keep going left fall in his blockers trying to sweep and nice job
by the Blue Jays to in the middle of a block able to reach out, grab the quarterback, bring him down.
I
think
that's technically a sack as that was behind the line there, even though it was a quarterback carry sweep.
Yeah, nice job by him.
So fourth and a little bit longer.
Fourth and five, fourth, five and a half.
Eagles are electing to go full.
Yeah, go for it.
Oh boy, this is risky.
Still five linemen two tight ends one in each side.
I imagine it's gonna be a pass play everyone's on this line All right, it's a fake looking throw and it's overthrown to a wide open player to the Eagles and oh my goodness he would have had
Daylight number 81 did a great job on his route.
That's Skyler Audison.
But it was just thrown in front of him.
There was no way he could bring that one in.
I mean, first off, if he caught that one, that highlight would go on ESPN tonight.
My goodness.
But there we go.
That's a turnover on downs.
Okay, whatever play that was for the Eagles file that one as a play to definitely run in the future You just got to deliver the ball more accurately and that would have been a positive game But either way that's not where we're at Blue Jays now have the ball at their own 20 All right Two receivers right ball height Throne caught but a three-yard game so far trying to Jimmy for there and he does and he's able to get to the first down might be a little short.
Let's see
They're marking it.
Yep, second and short now.
Nice job on the yards after catch.
He got it.
There's a little curl route there and able to kind of go from a standstill position, explode forward for a few more yards.
And now Blue Jays looking to see if they can't up this score even further here in the first quarter.
They lead 8-0 with 8-20 on the clock in the first quarter and they are marching.
Although the march doesn't necessarily need to go that long.
They're already at their own 10.
Okay, two wide receivers left, one right, sorry, two right, motion left, handoff for wide receiver.
He's got space, he's just gonna walk right in untouched after the blockers do their job.
And the Blue Jays now lead 14-0 at the two point conversion pending.
Number two, Jack Westfall, Jr.
able to get themselves in the handoff off the motion from the slop position on the right side, able to just take that wide receiver sweep.
completely blocked great job by the wide receivers on the left side in I mean he ran in but I feel like he could have strolled in at that point all right three wide receivers right one left shotgun all right Sam has the ball looks left has to go back right has an option decides to keep it has to throw it over the top he gets it and that is complete nice job by Jack Westphal to get the catch there for the two-point conversion but I'm going to tell you
Sam had the better job, in my opinion, is he had to fake out the defender.
Defender had the wide receiver completely guarded, and he lunged forward to pull the corner off the wide receiver to try to come tackle him.
But Sam had yet to go past the line of scrimmage, so he was able to pull his arm up, do a nice little lob pass, and complete it in the end zone for the two-point conversion.
Nice job by Sam.
Great catch by Jack.
And now...
The Blue Jays are all humming right here in the first quarter as they lead 16 to 0 with 8 minutes and 6 seconds on the clock here in the first quarter.
Eagles got to get something going for them.
They basically only go for them is the idea of a play working and they just got to get that connected and get it moving.
All
right.
well now you're now the the kickoff guy he proved that he can put it way back there but he also proved he can onsite it so you got to be on your toes here all right kickoff nice little squib it's going to bounce up and it's going to be fielded by DJ who has to look for some space can't find it and he is just taken down at his own 30 yard line nice job by the Blue Jays who are just on all three phases of the game right now are locked in offense defense and special teams eight minutes now
Remain in the first quarter Lugia's lead 16-0 Eagles got the ball at their own 30 Seeing if they can't get themselves some points here in the first quarter Alrighty two wide receivers right one left shotgun running back in the backfield Okay, see what Ethan has in him motion left ball hiked and off right trying to jump through some contact
If he gained anything, it was in yards.
It might have even been a little lot.
Yup, he lost about a half foot there.
Right now, the defensive line for the Blue Jays is absolutely having their way.
They kind of are dictating the pace right here.
And we'll see what the Eagles can do to mitigate that.
And yeah, we'll see what happens here going forward and see what the formation is.
Looks like it's going to be on the shotgun set.
Two left, one right.
Who's in the backfield there?
Is that number 17?
Yeah, Ethan Otteson and... That's Austin.
Now fall, hiked, thrown, caught.
Now he's tearing up the field.
Mark able to get past midfield on the catch in traffic.
Nice job.
Nice throw, nice catch.
And there we go.
First down now at midfield.
And the Eagles got themselves a nice positive playing for the first time this game.
Move the sticks.
Nice job, Eagles.
Ball be officially placed.
at the Blue Jays 48 yard line.
All right.
Rids and repeat.
See what they can do.
Get this game a little bit closer.
Seven minutes now here in the first quarter.
Blue Jays still lead.
16-0.
Eagles begin their march.
Five linemen, two tight ends, one on each side.
Shotgun for Ethan.
All right.
Everyone's sad.
Ball hiked.
Hand off right.
Has space.
going to keep much in forward, get some contact, fight through it, and it's going to be short of the first down, but man, that was a good yardage gain.
It's going to be second and less than one, second and one here now at the 39 yard line of the Blue Jays.
Good positive plays.
Like a key for the Eagles here tonight is to keep this game as close as possible.
Going into halftime for adjustments.
You can score here get back down to one score differential.
That'd be huge five linemen two tight ends one each side shotgun ball hiked and off left Exploded in the backfield by the defender number ten Garrett senior Garrett man Mandela Getting in there
and
absolutely torn down
All right third down and about four now that for the three yard loss on the run play
We'll
see what the Eagles do here in response We're in four down territory now, so I mean if you can just get some positive play positive yards here I think you're still okay five linemen two in each side for the tight ends motion right
fake handoff looking for the pass delivers it and it's way overthrowing to mark oscarvera who's got who's double guarded anyway so it doesn't look like that was open and quite honestly i bet you the coach even told him if he's not open just overthrow it don't throw a pick and now we're fourth and four at the blue jays 42 yard line all right substitution coming in number 86 for the eagles bringing the play dj
All right Two or sorry four wide receivers two on each side shotgun We got two rushers coming in yes time thrown mark incomplete nice
defense
by number 10, who was able to break up the pass.
That's
Garrett.
Garrett Mandley.
Garrett Mandley having two plays this specific drive that were big.
First, the tackle for loss coming in there, blowing up the run and then breaking up the pass play there on the out route by Mark Oscoveric.
and so just like that turnover on downs blue jays are in full control of this game 516 remains in this first quarter they lead 16-0 they got the ball back all right four linemen two receivers on each one on each side shotgun
All right, quarterback goes back, he looks, he lobs up, he's
open, he catches it with his
hand, hit the
footway, he's faster, he's quicker, and he just got another touchdown.
That's number 12, Peter Cruxton, sophomore, able to pull that one in with just his hand over his head, over the shoulder, and the Blue Jays
say, we are in charge of this field, it's now 22-0 with five minutes in the first quarter.
They are absolutely blowing the Eagles out of here, and this game is quickly going out of control.
Two-point conversion is now coming up.
Sam is just doing, I guess, Ketterback's favorite thing, which is, hey, receiver, go get it.
And so far, he's two for two on those big throws and two touchdowns from both of them.
Wow.
I'm not a statistician here, but if they did a quarterback rating right now, I bet you'd be 158.3.
All right, ball hike, hand off left quarter.
He's got one guy to beat, can't do it, no good.
And the Eagles at the very least, very least able to keep this from going to 24.
So 22-0 now, Blue Jays lead over our Schwamegan Screaming Eagles.
We're going to go to commercial right now when we come back.
We'll have some more football for you here on 1-0.3.
Trail mix, don't go anywhere.

Welcome back here.
I want all 3.1 trail mix.
Home of your shawarma again, screaming Eagles.
Blue Jays kind of kicking our butts right now.
22 to 0 here in the first quarter.
5 minutes and 1 second remain in the first quarter.
Eagles just got the ball back after recovering.
Well, there was another onside kick attempt by the Blue Jays, but the Eagles were able to reel that one in.
So now they got good field position starting out on their 46 yard line.
Motion left for Mark gets the ball.
It's a reverse handoff.
But there's going to be no yards to gain.
In fact, they just lose another yard and the Eagles are starting to kind of lose steam.
And I feel like doing reverses and fakes and all this other misdirection stuff is just asking for disaster as the Blue Jays have been all over it.
And I just think they got to simplify that playbook, rush up the middle sweep left or right or throw a nice pass play and see what you can make of
it.
All right Eagles got their five linemen now two tight ends one in each side quarterback and shotgun Here comes the hand fake handoff then another fake handoff then the quarterback Who looked a little confused and flustered there?
I wonder if that was supposed to be a handoff and then he ended up having to tuck it at a weird time followed his Titan up the up the middle and was able to get about
two inches back from the original lost yardage.
So now it's third down and about 10 yards.
And man, this drive is looking like it's going to end before it even started.
All right, four minutes left in this first quarter.
Blue Jays still lead 22 to zero and the Eagles are just trying to find something, anything that will work in their favor here tonight.
All right, four wide receivers, two on each side.
Looks like there's a mismatch on the right side, but we'll see if the Blue Jays, they got it covered.
Mark's looking.
They throw it.
He's open.
He's turning.
He's trying to catch.
And they're going to say incomplete.
Nice job by the corner for the Blue Jays to break up yet another pass play.
And that is Garrett Manley, who's all over this field.
He's made three or four huge defensive stops just in the last two drives himself.
And man.
I think the quarterback is going to have to identify where Garrett's at and then go to the other side of the field at this point because he is just shutting it down.
All right, four down.
Their own 46, four receivers, two on each side.
Here we go.
Ethan.
Hike looking looking left throws it.
It's going to be intercepted as
it was overthrown and the safety stepped up cuts left.
He's got faith.
No one can catch him.
That's going to be a pick six.
It is all the way across the line.
Oh and lead shirt senior able
to read the field, make the adjustment and not only intercepted.
He intercepted that in stride.
and was able to take off like, uh, like it was a track meet.
And now they lead 28 to zero with a two point conversion pending coming in here right now.
Aye aye aye.
It's probably the best way I could describe that right now.
So far, anything the Eagles have tried to get working has not.
And then the thing that they get to work only works one time.
Trying to figure out what they themselves can do here to try to salvage this and try to make this a game.
OK, Blue Jays.
Got their formation.
Huddles breaking, going for the two point conversion.
They're doing spread.
Two receivers on the left, two on the right.
Shotgun.
Sam calls for motion, coming across the left side.
Ball hiked.
Quarterback draw, can't do it.
He's able to escape contact, but not the second guy.
He's going to be sacked.
Two point conversion, no good.
Nice job by number 64 for the Swalmingen script.
Eagles, Dawson, Schmidt, getting in there, finishing the play.
and bringing him down.
All right, Blue Jays lead 28-0 and the Eagles are just trying to figure out how they can themselves can take flight.
Come on, we're Eagles.
We're watching the Blue Jays fly around.
We want to get in the sky too.
Let's see what they can do.
All righty.
Was there a penalty?
It looks like they're redoing the two-point conversion, but I didn't see any flag.
Well, it's still on the two, so if it was on the Eagles, it would be moved forward a yard.
If it was on the Blue Jays, it would be back.
I don't know what's happening, but the Blue Jays are getting a second chance of the two-point conversion.
And here we go.
Under center.
Ball hiked.
It's pitched to the right.
He cuts it inside, dives inside, and now the two-point conversion is good.
I don't know how or why that happened at all, but it did.
And the Blue Jays take advantage.
They now lead 30-0 with three minutes and 15 seconds left
on
the clock in the first quarter.
Man, Blue Jays looking great here tonight, as it just seems like everything they're doing is turning to gold.
It's a really fun thing to watch.
And for the screaming Eagles, man, we got to figure out something here.
Some play some person.
Maybe you start shuffling out some of the guys on the bench to see if they can't come alive because it just looks like the Blue Jays have an answer for everything.
All right.
Blue Jays so far on kickoffs have done everything.
They've done an onside kick, recovered it.
They've done an end over end kick.
They've done a squib kick.
They've done another onside kick that they didn't get.
And now here we are on the fifth one.
Here comes the kick.
It is end over end.
Well, it's kind of ugly, but it stays in bounds.
DJ has it, carrying up the field.
Nice little juke move, gets around one, gets past two, and then is knocked out by the third defender.
Number 20, Dylan Walschenleiger is the one that brings down DJ after a nice return.
Dylan Walschenleiger
on the 15.
He has picked it up around the 15 and brought it all the way back to the Eagles 37 yard line.
Great return young man.
Okay
All right Eagles now on offense making a substitution here Three minutes and seven seconds remain in this first quarter the blue jays lead 30 to 0 And let's see if the Eagles can't get some points here
timeout is going to be called by the, by one of the teams and we'll go to commercial here while that happens.
We'll be back here shortly.
Don't go anywhere.
What more football for you when you return?

Welcome back here on one of 3.1 trail mix home of your shawarma against human eagle Stephen Jelen bringing you tonight's game two minutes 50 seconds remain in the first quarter blue jays lead 30 to 0 Eagles have the ball they're thrown 37 yard line and they are now at second and 10 after they had a Short gain on a inside run and now we have five linemen two tight ends one each side Ethan in motion double motion backwards.
It's a fake
that he didn't know we have ourselves a flag, and then Ethan was able to salvage at least a couple yards, but I'm wondering if that wasn't a holding.
So we'll see what happens here, or I'm pretty sure it's an illegal motion.
Yeah, I think both tight ends motioned at the same times backwards, and Ethan didn't know which one to hand off to, which begs the question of if that was intended or not, and I don't think it was.
So 224 now and the ball moves back so about second and 15 now at the year only that there was a 23 sorry 33 yard line Eagles Trying to get themselves their first points on this game.
They've had some really positive plays, but they just haven't able to string them together So let's see if they can't get a few here mark motion left fake
looking throw way over the head of number 81 Skyler
Audison.
Right now the Eagles, I think there needs to be an adjustment.
I actually think the passing plays have looked good.
I just think right now the Blue Jays are doing a really good job of covering over the head so they're not going to give up huge chunk plays.
So you're just going to have to make some accurate throws either in the middle of the field.
or on your out routes, which can be dangerous, but if that's where the receivers are open, that's where you're going to make the play.
All right.
Two receivers right, two left.
Ball hiked weird, but Ethan's got it.
Looking for space.
Throws it deep.
It's going to be picked.
There it is.
Number 23's got it now.
He's running backwards.
Get some space.
Trying to look to cut it forward.
And nice little juke move makes one miss, makes two miss, has a blocker, and he's going to be tackled kind of around where the line of scrimmage was.
So after some fancy feet, a little end around after the interception, number 23, Owen makes another interception.
The guys at Bullhawk, what can you say?
Nice job as they bring that one in.
And now with a minute 50, sorry, minute 41 remaining in this first quarter, the Blue Jays already lead 30 to zero and they're looking to up that score.
A little bit higher.
All right.
We have four linemen and tight ends on the left side.
One receiver right, two running backs in the backfield under center.
Ball hike,
thrown high.
Number 10
had a chance at a touchdown.
Garrett Mandaly, who's been making every defensive play on the planet, turns around in the ball.
I don't even know how bounced off him.
Was that off his shoulder?
But it was in his bread basket and it bopped
out.
Oh man.
Holding.
Oh my goodness.
Oh that holding.
Well at least you could take Solis in the fact that if you would have caught it would have went away anyways.
So the play did not fall flat because of a dropped pass.
It fell flat because of a penalty.
So okay.
Second now in 20 at their own 40.
I'm sorry, the Eagles 47 yard line.
Eagles got to make it a turnover.
Honestly, that's right where this is at.
If they can get a fumble, interception, something to get this rolling.
Two wide receivers, one on each side, ball hiked under center, looking for space, has time, goes left, goes right, going back left.
Now he's tucked the ball.
He's trying to get some yards, able to get past line of scrimmage, and then he's knocked out of bounds.
And takes up about, we're looking about six to seven yards, maybe eight.
Oh yeah, about, it's about seven yards.
So nice job by Sam to make something out of nothing.
And nice job for the Eagles to not let that play go too big.
They were able to bring and reel them in.
So now it's second down and about 14 here in the first quarter.
124 remains.
Blue J lead, 30 to zero.
Eagles.
trying to get their first defense to stop here tonight.
Okay.
Quarterback in Chaka now, two receivers right, all running back is back there with the quarterback, ball hiked.
Looking for his guy, throws it deep, it's gonna be intercepted by the streaming Eagles.
There it is, that's the play, Aiden Bushman goes up, brings it down.
And finally, something to get the juices going for our swammigan screaming eagles here in the first quarter.
You're still down 30 to 0.
OK, so it's not like we're coming back anytime soon.
But hey, you got to make in order to make a bunch of good plays, you got to make one good one to start.
And that is definitely a good one, something you needed, something to get momentum.
Let's see if they can push forward here and capitalize on that moment.
All right.
Shotgun, two receivers, both on each side, so four total.
Okay, ball hiked, quarterback keep, he immediately running forward, he's got space.
Able to get some, Juke's pass one, runs into another wall, but not after about a six to seven yard gain.
Nice job by Ethan.
Alrighty, a minute remains in this first quarter, and the Eagles have to get in the interception, able to get a nice, ooh, a nine yard gain, second in one.
I'm right now.
I'm in the boat that if you get a successful play, you're running the exact same plan until they stop it.
I would not be surprised if it's another quarterback keep on a direct snap here.
All right.
Four receivers, two on each side, then they're very wide.
It's just gonna be three on three in the middle here.
Ball hiked.
He keeps immediately going right, but he's chased down.
Who is that?
That's number two.
Numbers.
Oh my goodness.
That is Zach Weavers.
He's a senior able to chase down Ethan and bring him down for a sack.
And I called that.
I just, I don't know if you want to be sweeping though.
I feel like if he had just got that hike and ran for like he did before, my goodness, I think there was a real chance to get the first down.
But all right, well, five seconds remain.
I don't know if this ball is going to be hiked at all and they're still going around and that is zero.
And there we go.
We're going to head into the second quarter here, still down by 30.
Blue Jays winning by 30, 30-0.
And the Eagles got a little bit of time to figure it out here in between the break between first and second quarter.
While we're doing that, we're going to go to commercial break here on 1-0.3.
Trail mix.
And I look forward to the second quarter with you.
So we will do that.
And I will see you when we get back.

All right, welcome back here on 103.1 Trail Mix, home of your Swamigans screaming eagles.
We just got back just a tad late as the time out finished up and the eagles were able to do a nice handoff and run up the gut for first down, just barely.
But hey, that counts.
And now it is first in 10 at their own 28 yard line.
And the second quarter has just started.
Blue Jay still winning 30 to 0, but the Eagles have a chance right here to march down the field and get rid of that goose egg and try to put some points on the board to get this game going.
So far right now they are hiking the ball, handing it off, running up the middle and able to get a small gain.
But we like moving forward, not backwards, so we'll take it second and nine now.
Eagles getting the big interception finally.
Last drive as the Blue Jays have been able to just kind of do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want as they've been passing the ball, running the ball and playing great defense and special teams because they have the onside kick recovery as well.
Okay, five linemen, two tight ends, one on each side.
Cole Cross has yet to get his mark on this game and now Cole's in motion.
They're going to hand it off to him, then it's reversed to Mark, brings it back.
He's got space, able to get to the first down line and just a little bit more.
Nice tackle by Sam on the Blue Jays.
Mark Oskavaric, great run through the running lanes on the sweep there, able to get the first down.
And now the ball will be placed at the Eagles 41 yard line, first and 10.
Nice run
there.
Man, I thought I was a prophet there for a second because I've been waiting for Cole who's had a really good showing so far this season sophomore for the Schwalming and Screaming Eagles.
Mainly been playing tight end and running back.
Waiting to see if he can have himself a big positive play, but he did a good job selling the run there on the on the reverse to Mark.
And now number 15 is Nate Nichols.
Another name we haven't really called yet who's been playing big time minutes.
We have a
delay game
delay of game
A
delay of game
Thank you
for the Schwalming and screaming Eagles Now the delay of games
Okay, okay
there we go Eagles getting set now we don't want to see negative plays first and 15
All right.
And they look like they get that.
Is it a false starter?
Was that neutral?
Oh, there we go.
Offsides.
Eagles get it right back.
All right, back to first and 10, the original spot.
We can all just kind of blink our eyes and pretend the last two plays didn't happen.
Okay.
Five linemen, two tight ends, one of these sign, Ethan in the backfield in Chaka.
Motion, Nate.
fake to him now he's blocking throws the ball he's open but that was a tough throw to make an even tougher catcher catch to make it falls to the dirt but honestly that was probably where you had to put the ball to keep that from getting picked off in any any way considering Ethan's already thrown two interceptions here tonight but i do like the fact that he's still not afraid to throw the ball
The thing about football is you're going to make mistakes.
They're going to happen.
And sometimes they'll happen quite often.
And you still got to be able to make the plays, make the throws, and have the confidence to do that.
So love to see it.
It was a good spot.
Just didn't happen.
And now a second intent.
Ball hiked.
Hand off.
Number 80.
Finding space.
Going forward.
Pass the first down line.
He's just carrying blue jerseys with him after a nice, what, 17 yard rush gain?
powering through and uh... who else cold crowd have been asking for it and there it is man cold crowd in the nickels i feel like i was in their name non stop the last two weeks i really had the chance to call them out but maybe this is where they start to break free and come alive here in the second quarter nine minutes and thirty seconds remain until halftime lucid silly thirty zero but the eagles after a pair of first-down they're not driving the ball in the enemy territory all right
quarterback keep, hand-off to number 15, Nate Nichols.
And, ah, man, that got absolutely blown up in the backfield by multiple Blue Jay
players.
There we go.
That is one, two, three, four, five, six yard boss.
And now we're looking at second and 16.
Still in Blue Jay's territory.
So that's my cope for right now.
48, 48.
yard line all right five tight ends there's like five linemen two tight ends motion ball hiked Cole fake mark bobbled the ball almost fumbled it and then he lost yards again and I don't know how much the fake reverse is going to continue to work I feel like once you've shown that play too many times you are just begging the defense to just absolutely blow it up
All right, although Mark has made some good plays off of it, I feel like there's going to be less and less of those as the game goes on and we'll see where they go from there.
So now that we're third and forever back in our own territory, it is four wide receivers, two on each side, ball hike.
Ethan looking for his guy, stares him down, throws him way over.
Defender can't even get to it as it falls to the grass.
Fourth down and what about 20?
Yeah, fourth and 20.
their own 48 yard line.
Okay.
Let's see what the Eagles do here.
Trying to make this play go.
All
right, four wide receivers once again, two on each side.
Let's see where Mark's lined up.
He's on the slot on the inside.
He's not looking that way.
He's got space, got time, he throws it, it's delivered, and it's dropped.
I mean, even if it was caught, it was a turnover rundown.
But you still want the positive play because now the Blue Jays start in their, in the Eagles territory at 48 yard line, instead of their own territory at their own 38.
That was a, once again, that's another play that didn't work out, but I like that play.
It was just a deep in route.
and he had the space.
He was open and Ethan put the ball on his hands.
So the ball just got to be caught.
You got to catch those.
Unfortunately, that would have just been a nice positive play because it wasn't a first down on a fourth down play still would have been a turnover on downs.
But nonetheless, I like good plays.
I like to see them develop and that was one of them.
So please file that one away and run that one again in the future, please.
OK, Blue Jays take over on the downs.
8 minutes left in the first half, motion right.
Pike, Sam's got it, looking, finding space, throws it, and it's just a tad overthrown to Garrett Mendeley.
The intended receiver falls to the grass second down, and here we go.
Blue Jays lead 30-0, and if they can get a score here, we'll be transitioning into mercy rules in which the clock will begin to run and not stop.
OK.
All right, swarming and screaming Eagles.
Looking to respond on defense.
Hmm.
See what they're going to do.
Blue Jay still in the huddle.
Doing the count in here.
See what we got
here and
that is going to be time out.
by the Blue Jays as I was getting close to his delay of game.
Yeah,
they were in the huddle there for quite a while and I was wondering if that was going to be the case.
So.
If you're the Blue Jays here, you probably don't want to let up the gas at all because I mean, we're still at the like we're not even halfway through the second quarter here.
You know, the Eagles get the ball.
Another another turnover.
They score, right?
Let's say they get to eight.
You know, they only score once before half.
It's 30 to eight.
It's like.
you know, in high school, you can really rip off a lot of points and a half.
So the game's not over.
It's looking bad.
It's 30 to 0.
Blue Jays are absolutely in control.
It's just about building those incremental things that can lead to a future where the Eagles come back in this game, right?
So you can't look at the third quarter.
Can't look at the fourth quarter.
Got to look at right now.
And right now, you need another defensive stop at second and 10 at midfield.
You get a sack, a tackle for a loss, incomplete pass, another turnover, and you have plenty of time to get the ball rolling to try to get your first points in the game.
So, you know, that's where I'm at mentally.
We'll see if it happens.
I think the Eagles are doing some things that look good and are working.
They're just not happening often enough on the same drive.
So, all right.
Two wide receivers one on each side for the blue Jays running back is in behind the quarterback who's in shotgun ball height handoff right and Tackled for a loss.
There we go There we go number two although never hit the ground the whistle for the ref went off killing the play And so that will now be third down and third and 13 third and 12 something like that Okay
All right receiver left looks like a four lineman two running backs quarterback under center ball hiked Sam's keeping looking can't get fast the line of scrimmage.
He gets knocked out of bounds Are they gonna call late hit?
Look, let's see what the call was because it's either late hit or holding so we'll see Now the up face mask okay, so I was
Oh, face mask on the offense.
Okay.
I wouldn't have guessed that.
I mean, at first I was like, if that a late hit, it was kind of right as he was going out of bounds.
So I don't think it was late unless, you know, he hit him or it was a hip drop tackle.
It could have been something like that.
But then they called face mask, but then on the offense.
So there we go.
That is a huge penalty on the offense.
And now they are third and forever here.
They move it all the way back to their own 35 yard line and that makes it third and 27 was seven minutes and nine seconds here in the second quarter Blue Jay still leave 30 to zero and They've shown the ability to score on any play at any part of this field So even though it's third and set 27, I'm not feeling comfortable.
I'm telling you that right now four wide receivers two on each side
If I'm going to guess the Eagles having no deep safety here is the wrong decision.
Motion left, three receivers on the left side, ball hiked, thrown.
He's open.
Does he make
the catch?
He does.
Oh my gosh.
Tell me a profit.
I saw that
one coming from a mile away.
And I think so did the quarterback.
Who made the catch on that?
Oh,
that was Owen?
Yep.
Wow.
Number 23, he's been back there all night.
Man, it's third.
They have the receivers.
There's no safety back there.
I would have called a time off so fast.
That was just begging to get scored.
I'm surprised we didn't give up a score there.
But after the huge throw and catch, nice job, Blue Jays, by the way, not only recognizing a mismatch on the defense, but the ability to pull off the play out of third and 27.
And now they're first and 10 at their own.
Sorry, the Eagles 26.
All right, two receivers, right?
Ball hike, quarterback keep, following the sweep.
He has some space and cannot be tackled, but he is able to advance for about three, four yards.
Nice job with the Blue Jays.
No, three yard game, second and set.
Man, hate to see it.
I'm still kind of caught up in that pass play that just happened.
Man.
When I saw the there was no safety help, you're like, you know what the Blue Jays are doing.
They're going to run a post route.
It's just going to be been doing it all night.
Just got to recognize.
Oh man, well, it's what it is.
Can't do it now.
Got to stop him here.
All right, one one wide receiver, one wide receiver to the right, two running back to the back to the quarterback under center.
Ball height pitched left.
He's running back, finding, trying to find some space, able to get some, not a first down, but a nice gain nonetheless.
Good job by the Blue Jays there.
And nice job by the Eagles as well to keep this to third down now.
Looking like it's third and three, that's what the mark is.
Six minutes now here remaining in the first half.
Blue Jays lead 30-0 and they are marching down the field.
Eagle's looking to try to get a big stop here.
Here we go.
Looks like the quarterback's going to be under center again with his two running backs behind him.
Receiver left.
Sam.
As a hike.
Pitch is right.
That was a false start on the tight end for the Blue Jays.
And that's going to bring this back about five yards.
Wasn't sure how that plays going to develop.
It looked like he was going to be another pitch.
for a sweep right.
And so it really just kind of depends if the Eagles can blow up the coverages for blocking or not.
The blade didn't develop enough for that to be seen.
But we have ourselves a timeout by the Blue Jays here before the half.
We're going to have a commercial break here.
When we come back, we'll have more football for you here.

3.1 trail mix, home of your Shawamigan Screaming Eagles.
Steven Jellin bringing you tonight's game.
The Eagles are in three lakes right now, playing against the home team of the Blue Jays.
They are so far absolutely in charge of this game.
They lead 30 to 0 with five minutes and 42 seconds in the second quarter.
They are currently driving the ball.
It's third and nine, third and eight at the Eagles 25 yard line.
So they have a real chance
to push the score even higher before the half, for the half.
And the Eagles are just trying to get their first points here, but they got to get this stop first for that to happen.
Okay.
Blue Jays.
Let's see.
Quarterback shotgun receivers two on the right.
Here we go.
Ball hiked.
Here comes the Blitz throws it up.
He's wide open.
He catches the ball.
Zach pedaling and then turns around and speeds up.
That's how open he was.
Zach Weber.
Yep, Zach Weber.
Absolutely making it just a mockery of the secondary of the Eagles right now as they got an open once again and now they lead 36-0 here in the first half.
Two-point conversion is now pending.
And we'll see if the Eagles can stop their third two-point conversion here of the night.
Okay.
Is that four wide receivers?
Yep, two on each side.
Sam and shotgun.
Motion right.
Calls for the ball.
He has it.
Looking for his guy on a slant.
It is deflected.
Nice job by the Eagles who have stopped a third two-point conversion here tonight.
just like that.
The ball is back to the Eagles having their another shot to try to get some points here in this game.
Lujay leads 36-0 and man I got a text to buddy who knows the number of the head coach and say can you please put a safety deep because that is what we need right now.
We've been playing man tonight we begin to host it.
And that's just sometimes how it is.
You just got to make these adjustments, which absolutely then, of course, will leave them open for run.
But I mean, you have a higher chance to stop the run game right now.
Sam has been on fire.
Is that them?
Is that his fourth touchdown pass here tonight?
My goodness.
Well, third, because they have the pick six.
That's right.
All right.
Oh.
Okay, let's see what can happen here.
No, it was his fourth touchdown thrown.
They didn't have a rushing touchdown.
They had four and then the pick six.
There you go.
Alrighty, Blue Jays coming together, waiting for the ref to give him the whistle.
They're going to kick off here and the Eagles are getting set to receive.
Losing the backfield there, returning the kicks.
Is that CJ Rodriguez?
It is.
CJ.
Last week, freshman had a fun, a couple of electric plays.
I'm looking forward to his high school career.
Eagles don't touch that ball.
Eagles do not touch that ball.
Thank goodness.
And that will be a penalty as it did not go past the 10 yards and the Blue Jays on the end of picking the ball up.
So the ball will be spotted.
There we go.
So we'll see what happens as the Eagles come out to play some offense here.
with 534 remaining in the first half.
Blue Jays lead 36-0.
All right, here goes them Eagles looking for the formation.
They get the ball switched out here and once the refs give the whistle, the offense can begin.
So after the penalty on the pickup, my goodness.
I forgot that if they pick up the ball before the 10 yards, that ends up placing the ball 15 yards from the spot.
So you
just leave the ball there and wait for the refs to blow it dead.
That's what they should have done.
That was the lapse of judgment on whoever picked up the ball.
So the Eagles get a gift.
They are now at the Blue Jays 35 yard line.
Come on Eagles, use your chance.
There's the off sides.
I haven't given them a number five.
Man.
Bluejay is making it easy on this one and I'm not going to say no thank you.
I'm going to say the opposite.
Thank you, thank you.
Right now the Eagles need every help they can get as they have not been able to produce much on their own.
However, they have been able to chunk play here or there.
You just need it right now.
All right, motion.
Ball hiked, has his spot, throws it way over the head of DJ.
who was able to break free of his corner, but the safety was there.
So
far, I've been noticing with Ethan tonight, he's not moving off of his first read.
Whatever receiver he looks at first, that's who he's throwing to.
And I feel like that is absolutely what the safeties have figured out because they are just there, every single time.
So if it's another pass play, I'm going to watch Ethan this time.
I'm going to see.
He will not move off his first receiver.
We'll see what happens.
Motion left.
Ball, fake handed off to Cole Krause.
Get some space and get yard or two.
Another penalty.
Is it a
holding?
We'll see what happens.
Oh, it's a penalty on the Blue Jays.
They're going to move the ball now quite a distance.
Did the ref say what the penalty was yet?
Unfortunately, I'll probably late hit.
Now those happen.
I mean, obviously these kids are out here trying to hurt nobody.
So it's unfortunate, but for the Eagles, the player's OK.
He's doing fine.
So you're going to take that 15-yard penalty.
and move it all the way into the red zone.
I believe this is the first time the Eagles have been in the red zone.
They're now at the 19 yard line with five minutes and 18 seconds here.
Motion left.
Nate fake to Mark Oskavarek makes one miss, can't make the second miss and that is attack for loss.
Blue Jays kind of right this ship here after a couple big mistakes off penalties were able to get their first stop here on the drive.
And now it's second in 11.
at the little bit around the 20 yard line for the Blue Jays 20 yard line, Eagles looking to see if they can't score.
Okay,
Ethan back there, two tight ends, five linemen, two tight ends on the left side.
I wouldn't be surprised here if we see ourselves a corner out, Ethan holding, throwing, and he's not open, but he had a chance, incomplete, nice defense by the Blue
Jays.
Now I'm not gonna fault Ethan for throwing to his first read that was a first read design play He wasn't there wasn't meant to be any progression there so that didn't count, but he did only throw to his first read 434 now here in the second quarter Blue Jays lead 36 zero Eagles trying to change that here as it's third and 11 at the Blue Jays 20
All
right to
So four wide receivers, two on each side.
They have one safety in the Blue Jays.
Ethan has a chance to break the mold and move through progression.
Blitz coming to the left side.
Ethan's got to run.
He gets around the corner.
Can't break it.
He's sacked.
Blue Jays couldn't get it rolling.
Sorry,
Blue Jays got it rolling.
The Eagles couldn't get the roll out completed.
And now after the sack, it's fourth and 15.
And that was a great defensive call by the Blue Jays to Blitz there.
Man, the Eagles had a guy, but he forced Ethan to roll right and you did it so difficult to throw over your shoulder back across the field while running away from a guy.
So, man, if Ethan was able to make that throw, that would have been absolutely insane, but that's not where we're at.
Four receivers, two on each side, ball hiked, Ethan looks, has to run away from his guy again, able to break three from two, three, four and sacked.
Way back there.
It's a turnover on down after like a 20 yards run backwards sack.
Oh my goodness.
I think that is literally the worst case scenario outside of you fumbling because if you're going to get sacked on a fourth down play, you don't want to get sacked after running 20 yards backwards.
And now the Blue Jays instead of starting way back in their territory are now starting at the 35.
Oh, that's tough.
All right, Blue Jays 346 here in the second corner.
They lead 36 to 0.
Looking to see if they can't break that 4-0 barrier here before the first half is done.
Okay.
Two running backs, quarterback under center, receiver on the right side.
Sam has it, pitches it left.
Now we have the sweep.
Trying to find some space, has some flag thrown.
I imagine it's holding, but we'll see.
And that is holding on the blue jays and instead of a nine-yard gain will be a ten-yard move the sticks back First in 20.
Well, it'll be at the spot of the foul.
So we'll see what that's at Looks like they're starting their walk at the line of scrimmage Yeah, yep, there you go.
So it's gonna be first in 20 so they said the holding was at the line of scrimmage so
But once again if that said first and 57 and they were starting in the parking lot I think they might get a touchdown They have just been able to throw over the head of the Eagles this whole game and All right, we have a receiver left receiver right Still no safety showing pressure backing off And now he's open down the center of the field, but Sam's gonna keep and rush forward.
He's
got space.
It's open grass
That's already a first down.
He's in Eagle's territory.
He's running down the field.
He breaks his back hole and he walks into the end zone after a broken play.
Sam makes some magic happen for the Blue Jays and they have now led even more
in this game.
It's 42 to nothing Blue Jays.
It's what's happening here in Three Lakes.
My goodness, that was amazing to watch.
If you're a Blue Jays fan, the crowd is
Roaring and raring to life here as everything they do turns to gold they get the Midas touch and I guess I wasn't kidding about if they started out in the parking lot they could get a touchdown because then they literally just did.
Okay Blue Jays looking to extend the score here they now lead 42 to 0 with three minutes and three seconds in the second quarter and see if this two point conversion can be stopped.
Eagles have been good at stopping these tonight.
See if they can stop another.
Ball hiked.
Has space.
Sam goes left.
Can
he reach forward?
He does.
And it's a two-point conversion that is completed.
That's the second two-point conversion today that Sam got by extending at the last second.
And there you go.
Eagles now trail 44-0 with three minutes and three seconds here in the first half.
We're going to go to commercial here at 103.1 trail mix and when we

Welcome back here on one of 3.1 trail makes when we are swam against treatment Eagles.
Eagles got the ball now and they are looking to drive.
Ethan takes the snap.
He carries right down the sweep and is able to jump forward and get about a seven yard gain and we have another flag.
Kind of a late is a late flag.
It looks like it's a late hit on an eagle hitting one of the.
Like, as a blocker, he was blocking one of the Blue Jays and he just came in way too late, hit him too hard.
Absolutely a flag there, as Bentley is being seen to by the coaching staff.
Hopefully, it was just him getting the win knocked out of him.
But Eagles, I understand you're losing 44-0, but you've got to keep that under control.
I know it is an emotional game.
And two minutes and 51.
So he just popped right up.
There we go.
That's what we'd like to see.
We kind of thought it might be a win that knocked out of you moments.
So he'll need to take a player two off before he can come back on.
But he's walking under his own power.
He's talking with his coach.
So that's good to see.
All right.
Eagle's going to move backwards like 15 yards.
And since that was after the play, it'll still be second down.
Or will it be first?
Do we know?
looks like it is second okay all right so at the spot of the foul moves in everything after all is said and done it's going to be second and 20 now
okay all
right he goes five linemen two tight ends on the left quarterback and shotgun he even keeps it cuts it back inside is getting chased down and he's going to be stacked nice job by the blue jays
To get him to go backwards third down and 21 now
Okay Okay, here
we go
Eagles
now with three wide receiver set two in the left one on the right shotgun Now we have motion running back to the left side here on a screen pass.
He catches it, but he catches it
falling forward.
I mean, it would have gotten him like 10 more yards, but man, it would have gotten him at least back to the original line of secure scrimmage, but it was a game.
We take that.
I like that play run that plan first down two minutes now here in the second quarter.
Fourth down at about 14 to go Eagles back there.
Wondering what play they're going to run
here.
Let's see what the set up here is, two receivers on the right, two on the left.
Shotgun for Ethan.
Mark is in the slot on the right side.
Blitzer from the backfield decides to come back and stay at safety.
Ethan's got to get around the corner and he does, but not, you know what, one, two yards before he's tackled from behind.
Nice job by Blue Jays, having yet another turnover on downs here in the second quarter.
It is now 44-0 with 122 on the clock in the first half.
The Blue Jays now get the ball back in the Eagle Territory, 42 yard line.
What to do here?
We'll see.
A vanilla of an offense they run here.
Looks like the quarterback is going to be under center with three receivers, two on the right, one on the left.
And then we have a solely running back.
It's just going to be a quarterback keep on a rush up the middle, immediately hiked and then ran forward.
That's a six, seven yard game there.
And the clock is a move in.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Blue Jays coach runs out the clock here in the half.
No reason to risk injury.
It took 44-0 and the Blue Jays looking to get their play set.
They have four receivers, two on each side, shotgun for Sam.
Motion right, ball handed off to number 23, who's now carrying her on the corner, and he's going to stay in, but nope, he's going to go out of bounds.
And I saw a yellow flag.
Let's do what the laundry is.
And we have ourselves a, I don't know what that sign is.
Oh, that is holding.
Okay, he just did it weird with his arms.
So, holding on the blue jays and that's going to move that ball backwards.
All right, let's see here.
Let's see where the ball gets officially placed here.
They're moving back, moving back, moving back, waiting for it to be placed.
Waiting for it.
And
they say that he'll now be
Second down in about 14.
And
the clock is moving.
There
we go.
Two receivers on the left, two on the right.
Shotgun ball hiked.
Looking for his receiver.
Has to tuck and run a little bit.
Still has time and he's going to be sacked.
Nice job by the Swamig and Screaming Eagles.
And the backfield making sure there's no options.
And we have timeout called by the Blue Jays.
to stop the clock here with 28 and a half seconds here in the second quarter while the Blue Jays are up 44 to 0.
All right Eagles there we go.
They had a pass play and you were able to stuff up all the options and led to a coverage sack.
Love to see that.
Good adjustments as the players getting their sea legs underneath them.
I know for a lot of them this is their first season and a lot of these players coming up were
back of last year and we love the progression of all of these players
okay
pretty soon the um tight end or tight end the timeout will be over and the screaming eagles will have a chance here to stop the blue jays from scoring again here for half time
okay
Let's see what we got going on here.
All
right, four receivers set, two on each side.
Shotgun, Sam's got it.
Has some time, throws it up.
It's a wide open receiver.
He catches it.
He's grieving down the line.
And that is yet another touchdown for the home team.
The Blue Jays here at Three Lakes.
Bailey, 50 to 0 with 19.3 seconds here.
in the first half.
The Eagles, they have to say they have to say he helped that time.
They just got torched.
Receiver was absolutely blown by them and Sam was able to deliver a beautiful strike down the field for I believe his fifth touchdown pass of the day here in the first half.
Oh boy.
Another two point conversion here.
Let's see what we got.
Four receivers.
Two in each side.
Sam in shotgun.
All right.
Kind of fumble snap but he's got it.
He throws it and he delivers it.
Oh and it is dropped.
And that is a drop two point conversion.
He was open.
It was in his chest there and that falls to the dirt.
No good.
So the Blue Jays will only lead by 50 to zero instead of 52 with 19.3 seconds left.
in the first half.
As the Eagles are left wondering, what can we possibly do in this game that can just garner something?
Put something good on the scoreboard that you can look back at the film and say, on this play it worked.
These rocks work.
These blocking assignments work.
And right now, that's what the game is kind of shifting itself to becoming is, hey, we're probably not one of this game.
But it doesn't mean that the game is useless.
You can definitely start to begin to practice play, get some players in there that you definitely want to see get minutes.
Have, you know, good upside boys on that and see if you can't begin to see if something works.
All right, Blue Jays getting ready to kick off here on side kick.
It's recovered.
Nice job by the Schwalming and screaming Eagles getting on top of that one.
So the Eagles take over on offense at their own 49 yard line, excuse me, at their own 49 yard line, and they have 16.1 seconds left to score.
Okay.
The Blue Jays have been showing right now a lot of rushing from the edges, and so I can't help but wonder if you do a quarterback draw here where you hike the ball, you look at your receiver, and then you run straight forward.
motion left handoff mark it's a reverse fake and it's blown up and recovered by the Blue Jays which would stop the clock and now the Blue Jays take over on offense at their all at the Eagles what 33 yard line so the Blue Jays have a legitimate shot to score yet again and here we go oh no they're gonna say the Eagles got it
Nice job.
I'll be honest.
I'm pretty sure the Blue Jays got that ball.
But when you're at the bottom of a pile, you just rip that.
That's why they fight for it.
Because once the refs get everyone out, whoever has the ball at the end.
And so here we go.
Eagles, five seconds, four, three, two, and one.
And that will be halftime.
Oh boy, Blue J's lead 50-0 here at halftime.
And we're going to take a quick break here myself as I get together some notes before we get to our halftime show with the first half recap as well as the second half preview.
All right, this is one of 3.1 trail mix.
I'm Stephen Jettlin and we will be back after a short commercial break to go over that with you so don't go anywhere.

Welcome back here on the 10301 Trail Mix, home of your Swamigan Screaming Eagles.
We are in halftime as the Eagles are in a deficit by quite a margin.
It is 50 to 0.
All blue jays here in three lakes.
The Eagles have been absolutely just gobstops.
They've just been popped in the mouth over and over again in the first half.
Well, there's really not much to talk about in the first half on the Eagles side of the ball because you'll kind of garner what happened as I talk about what happened in the recap for the blue jays.
The blue jays have basically decided to play 500 if you've ever played that game as a kid where the quarterback goes back and just yells out a number.
and you just throw it as far and as deep as you can, then you try to catch it.
And he's thrown, I believe, five touchdown passes of very high yardage.
So they're not like little dink and dunks where it turns into big yak yards.
It is quite literally him just stretching the field on post routes and corner routes, and his receivers are just getting so open.
One of the catches on a deep bomb
The receipt was a severely underthrown ball and the receiver turned around and backpedaled, caught it, then turned back around and accelerated and got into the end zone.
So it's like the absolute space and separation the receivers for the Blue Jays are creating is ridiculous.
And it happens once, it happens twice, right?
But it's been having three, four, five, six.
It's just like, man, there's gotta be an adjustment at some point.
you have to have safeties back there.
And you might be like, well, then they're going to start running the ball.
So I won't get them to run the ball.
At some point, you've got to do something that's different because they're absolutely tearing you apart going down the field.
And they've just been able to return to that over and over and over again on that basket.
And that's been the first half.
The Eagles have had largely
Well, there was a pick six in there, too, for the Blue Jays.
That was really good.
They've actually had two interceptions.
The Eagles got one interception themselves as they were able to pick off Sam, but that hasn't really slowed him down really much at all.
So the first half has been all Blue Jays all night, and the Three Lakes crowd is very happy.
All right, looking into the second half preview for the Blue Jays, I wouldn't be surprised if they shifted their offensive focus into clock burning.
as we're going to be in mercy rules so that clock is going to absolutely be moving for the rest of the night unless something really weird happens.
Timeouts and changes, yeah, change of possession, scoring and timeouts.
Okay, well, I'll take it.
So, the running clock is going to, you know, it basically eliminates any chance for you to come back in the game, but that's not what the goal of this game now is.
The goal is to garner something good, right, for the, for the Screaming Eagles.
To start to put together plays that work, that build confidence, maybe plays that are experimental, maybe you're trying out.
And I'm not talking about trick plays, just like different formations you haven't tried, like, for example,
the Eagles don't really, they either run four wide receivers or they run no wide receivers, right?
So it's like, what does a, what does a formation look like where you run a, uh, you know, like two receivers set one on each side and then under center with a running back behind you and one tight end.
Like, what does that look like?
You know, stuff like that.
When I say experimental, I don't mean
like trick plays and the crazy things you've ever heard of.
I just mean like normal formations that you're not really running because you can get good practice in a game when you're down 50 to 0.
I mean, you have to get some use out of this game.
Good play time, good practice, right?
Because the best practice is playing in the game.
Get some good reps.
I like the fact that Ethan has still been throwing.
They haven't really been catching much, but the receivers have been getting open.
And these just got to...
work on getting the ball to the right spots at the right times.
So Blue Jays, they're, you know, looking at the preview for the second half, it's like, what do they need to do different?
I mean, literally nothing they've done.
You know, don't throw that one interception again, but outside of that, they've been playing great for the Eagles.
It's like, what can they do different?
It's kind of everything.
And we'll see what the second half will look like.
I'm excited to watch it.
I love football.
I love this level of play because you do get to see these kids put it together, right?
You know, there's freshman on this field that this is their third game ever, right?
And so there is seniors in here that are fighting in their last season.
So the emotions are high.
The stakes are there.
The players are with each other.
They're not giving up at all.
And so, yes, the score is 50 to 0.
That's depressing.
But what's not is the fact that we get to watch and enjoy some good football here on a Thursday night here, a 103.1 trail mix.
So we're going to have a commercial break when we come back.
The second half will be starting here tonight, so don't go anywhere.

Welcome back here on 103.1 trail mix, home of your Swalming and Screaming Eagles.
Second half is going to be starting here shortly, here in Three Lakes as the Blue Jays are hosting our Swalming and Screaming Eagles here on World 3.1.
Well, it's going to be a, well, it'll be a quicker second half.
I'll say that as the Blue Jays lead 50 to zero.
So mercy rules are in effect, that clock will be running
Pretty much the entire time outside of a few circumstances such as a timeout, but other than that, this thing will get moving and grooving.
And so here we go.
The Eagles I imagine will be onside in every chance they get to kick this ball as there will not be many.
So let's see if they can get the ball back here.
It's a squib kick.
It was a missile and number 12.
for the blue jays just caught that sucker peter cruxson sophomore nice job maybe that's why the quarterbacks been doing so great they're catching everything tonight no matter what comes at them there we go do we need to go into investigation for stick them we'll see my doubted the kids are playing great today i'm just coping okay
Blue Jays now take over on offense at their own 46 yard line They lead 50 to 0 and let's see what the offensive adjustments are Honestly, it might just be keep doing what you're doing two receivers one on each side shotgun and whistle I Don't know what's happening So in for backup refs talking with the center Looking like
There's
some
adjustments.
There is a timeout by the Schwamagen.
Looks like too many guys in the field are too little.
Nine, yeah.
So it would have been a penalty if they didn't call timeout.
Well, I mean, that's not a good look.
Usually when you have your half time, that's to gather your thoughts and make sure that you come out clean.
And you definitely don't want to start with a penalty in which you had too many people in the field.
But hey,
Hey, just be happy you noticed it.
It's better to use that timeout than to take a penalty, you know.
Get the guy centered, get him back out there, play some good defense.
See if you can't salvage something in the second half.
Kind of reminds me of the first game the Eagles played where we were losing 36 to 0 in the first half.
But then in the second half we ended up scoring 16 to 8 versus the other team when the other team did not stop throwing the ball too.
So.
Man, maybe there's a little bit of a ray of hope there.
See if some halftime adjustments can really change some things up and breathe some new life into these Eagle Squad that needs it.
All right, same formation as before, shotgun, hand off left, going up the field, has space, going into the second level, and a first down, and then some for number two, Jack Westfall.
Nice job by the junior.
Bloating on the left side of there for a lot of yards.
They'll be placed now in the Eagles territory at the 37 yard line Was a big gain first in 10 Okay Same formation as before you have four linemen Two receivers one on each side and shotgun ball handed off right side this time
Trying to find some space does.
He's able to burst forward.
Nice movement speed there.
Finding the lane and just diving through it.
Getting like a nine yard gain by eight yard gain.
Excuse me.
There's second and two or three.
Okay.
See what the Blue Jays have here.
Ten minutes now remain here in the third quarter.
four linemen down, two receivers, one on each side, ball hiked, handoff left this time, has space to run, it's a first down, juke's right, juke's left, going down the field, can't be tackled, and almost the end zone, we're gonna be first in goal, and it's a close, nice run by the Blue Jays, who are just showing, they're just doing everything right
now.
Okay
Screaming Eagles looking there they've been pushed around now here on defense Let's see what happens here same formation the forward four linemen now quarterback in the shotgun running backs right behind them receiver on each side ball hiked
handoff quarterback at the block.
It's a broken play.
He runs left able to get around dives and he sure he'll.
The ref says he stepped out of bounce right before he hit the pylon.
The ref was right there in front of it so we can definitely use.
He could see it 100% either way.
Good run by that was number two.
I can't forget his name.
Jack able to kind of take a weird handoff and turn it into something positive.
So we're now looking at second and goal.
At the what what line is that?
Is that the two-yard line?
Yeah, it's looking like the two-yard line All right They got their play they're getting set two quarterbacks sorry two right the two wide receivers on the right We have four linemen shotgun that is going to be a weird I don't
Was it delay game?
Oh,
okay.
Delay game.
Yeah, we just do that the whole way down.
Eight minutes
to the other.
Oh, man.
Let's see here.
Blue Jays are now at second and seven, although it's second in goal, but at the seven yard line.
Receiver right, receiver left, shotgun that running backs right on his hip.
All right, here's the here looking to pass now Sam under pressure
gets around from one gets away from two Gets knocked out of
bounds and I don't think that's a sack.
He might have literally just got right back to the line of scrimmage.
So third down and gold Nice job of this Romigan Eagles.
I know they didn't get the tackle wouldn't the back though for the sack but you were able to extend the play and Be able to keep him from delivering the ball cleanly at all and now it's third down and gold
Right
See the Eagles here see if they can't respond it's out there to go home Get their first turnover on downs here tonight To ball hike Sam looking for a throw throws it to an open guy he catches it falls forward and Was he short?
Wow, it is right there on the goal line.
Ref says he was short, no touchdown, but it is now going to be fourth down and goal with like a foot to go, maybe even less.
That's just going to be a fall forward.
They're going up the line as fast as they can.
He's going to hike the ball going forward.
No push push, but no nonetheless gets the one inch he needed.
And now it's 56 to 0.
Blue jays lead over this while we get streaming
eagle.
Six minutes remain here in this third quarter and the clock keeps on rolling here tonight.
All righty.
Blue jays are in complete control and that's all right.
They've been in complete control since the kickoff in the first quarter, but they have continued that here.
And so let's see what the eagles do here on this two point conversion.
They've been able to stop.
four of them yeah the score should be 64 to 0 but they've been able to stop these ones fairly consistently this one is also no good so it'll say 50 oh wait did he say was short or was it good it was good all right
58-0
all right
I couldn't tell because the ref kind of did this, but he did it like tucked in so I wasn't sure.
Either way, I don't know if that two points ain't making or breaking the game.
All right.
Blue Jays, now he'll be kicking off here.
Eagles trying to get the ball back and put some offense going.
All righty.
No, I'd like to see I haven't seen one in a while.
Let's see if I can I would love to do a Cast of a kick return for a touchdown I haven't really seen any of those here this so far this whole season Those are always fun to call.
Let's see what we got come on number 70 boot this one into the stratosphere.
I want to see something fun He lines up big kick and over end It's gonna be fielded by DJ.
Okay going left has the space to get around one night He cannot because what a great tackle by number 20 of the Blue Jay
Dylan able to get in there bring him down
and I
I meant to say I said DJ I meant to say CJ Rodriguez sorry I apologize for that on the radio they that throws me off every now and again is their first names there but CJ trying to make some magic happen running left there and could not get it going he
If he could turn the corner there, you'd have to break one more tackle to really have a chance
at it.
But
either way, good job on
the Blue Jays.
Bring him down.
Eagles take over at their own 30.
Ball hike, handoff, fake handoff to Cole Krause.
He's got a blocker.
He's got space, breaks one tackle, fights through the second, and that should be marked first down.
There we go.
Nice job by Cole.
It feels like whenever Cole touches the ball here tonight, Matt, good things happen.
We need to get the ball in his hands.
I'm just surprised.
Cole's
got a natural ability to really fight through tackles in like when he gets the contact able to push forward for one, two, three more extra yards.
You love to see it.
Let's see if you can't continue to do that.
So five linemen, two tight ends, one on each side.
This time it's Nate Nichols left and let's see what we got here.
Here comes the Blitz.
They're going to hand Nate Nichols.
He cuts it inside, has space in the running rain, pushing through, and we have ourselves a penalty.
It's either holding, it is holding.
All right.
There
we go.
Eagles moving backwards after what would have been a very nice game by Nate Nichols.
Hate to see it, but it happened.
All right.
Let's
see here.
Two minutes and 25 seconds remain here in the third quarter.
If you're just joining us, the Blue Jays are leading 58 to zero, so we have a running clock scenario happening.
And the Eagles got very, very little time to try to put points on the board here today.
All right.
Five linemen, two tight end set, shotgun.
Ball hiked, quarterback, hands off left, cuts it up the center, and able to get about a yard.
When Marcus Kvarek is the tight end who's carrying the ball on that sweep route, you kind of want him to hit the C gap because you're running five linemen, okay?
The A gap is the gap in between the center and the guard, the B gaps between the guard and the the guard and the Tackle and then the C gaps to the left of the tackle, right?
So I kind of wish we would do that handoff not as a fake but actually have one of the tight ends fall on blocking to have that
clean sea gap, especially for Marcus so
quick.
Ethan's got space, able to break one tackle, and now he's tucking it, trying to go up the middle, or sorry, go up the sideline, can't do it.
Nice tackle by number 23, able to stop and advancing Ethan going down the field.
He's able to get a nice chunky yards to at least make this third and doable.
Now, it's still third and 12 here, but we'll go
forward.
Here we go Okay, here we go five linemen two tight ends All right mark in motion fake handoff and now it's a reverse Nicole Krause who is now fighting forward able to give up four or five yard gain Bringing this now to fourth and like six fourth and six
Man man that that holding penalty kind of killed you on this drive But here we go 22 seconds here.
They're running up to try to get one more play before the fourth quarter starts To a four wide receiver set two on each side Ball hiked looks left looking to Nate throws it catches it out of
bounds
Turn over on down.
Nate had a chance to make a first down.
He made the catch.
He turned and his left heel, his left heel touched the white.
Yeah, I could see it from right out my window.
Man, that stinks because that was a good play design, a good throw, a good catch and a good opportunity to try to get a first down, but just not enough space there.
Side line was right there.
He stepped out turnover on downs and now it's Blue J ball, but not before it goes.
to the fourth quarter.
We're going to go to a quick commercial break.
When we come back here, we'll have the remaining time for you in the game here at 1-0.3 or 1-0, 3-4-1 trail makes.
Don't go anywhere.

Stephen Jelen bringing you tonight's game.
Swalming and screaming eagles.
We're in three lakes being hosted by the Blue Jays who are, they're not being very good hosts right now as they're beating our butts 58 to zero.
I'm saying that and just it's been a wonderful crowd.
They've been a very sportsman team.
We really appreciate that about our sports coaches, families, people working the concession, the guys in the booth.
It's been a great atmosphere and we truly are thankful.
We're very thankful for receiving us and playing the game tonight.
I do wish we had some points on the board, but hey, sometimes it's not meant to be.
Blue Jays take over on downs here to start the fourth quarter as they lead 58-0.
Here we go.
Eagles on defense.
Let's see if they can't get another stop.
They had an interception earlier in the game.
I'd like to see that repeat ball hiked hand off left side has to makes his own space able to go upwards and that is a big face mask.
It looks like he yeah, he was reaching for his jersey and he ended up grabbing a face mask.
Hate to see it.
Player looks like he's OK, but man, there's a reason they throw penalties on that one.
Gotta be a little bit careful.
You gotta be careful on that.
And that'll be a 15 yard penalty tack at the end of about an eight yard run.
And there we go.
There
we go.
The clock now moves as long as well as the sticks and here we go.
You know, 83, that would be all over Soviet is unfortunate they're reaching forward.
He was blocked and sometimes it happens, right?
You're not...
Like I said before, the kids aren't playing dirty, right?
That wasn't some sort of vengeance.
He was actively engaged in a block.
The runner is running by him.
He reaches a handout and he gets a face mask.
So luckily no one got hurt.
You get the 15-yard penalty.
It's first and 10.
And now the Blue Jays are in enemy territory.
They hand off right, cannot get by the two tacklers there, able to fall forward for about a yard and some change.
And now it's second down.
Let's see what we're doing here.
Blue Jays getting in the huddle here, getting the play from the sideline.
Oh, looks like one of the Eagles players might have had their hands stepped on.
And so that Nate Nichols is running to the sideline here.
So I'm kind of wiggling his hand a bunch, talking to the ref.
He'll get that checked out here Substitutions made and now they are getting ready to play four linemen two receivers one in each side shotgun fall hike Sam looks left then up the middle has some time Decides to keep turns around the edge
has space going right up the center cut it up fight through one fight through two and that's a touchdown For the blue jays is Sam couldn't find his receiver and he said fine.
I'll do it myself.
That's a
TD
there you
go oh
that's a cramp okay that's a cramp for a second I you see them laying down I we don't like the injuries but he was actively saying hey come is that no it's not is that Sam on the on the ground yeah I'd cramp too if I ran that far but I'm 36 so it's a little bit different yeah oh man okay
All right, 64 to zero is now the score after that amazing run by Sam, the quarterback for the Blue Jays.
And I'm going to get in a pronunciation.
How do you say his last name?
Cachuda.
Sam Cachuda.
I haven't really been confident to attempt that name tonight.
So I just want to give a shout out for him because he's played really good today.
I had what?
Six passing touchdowns.
Now a rushing touchdown to his name.
And he's got a couple of the two-point conversions he's rushed in at the same
time.
Oh,
yeah, sorry too.
Oh, sorry.
Wow.
He's had such a good day.
I'm losing track of the many touchdowns he had today.
Either way, great game by him.
Love to see it.
And now he's getting helped up after the cram.
And I imagine he might just take a break for the rest of the game.
I feel like a 64 to zero cushion is enough to really seal this one here for tonight.
Okay.
Eagles getting ready to try to stop another two point conversion here.
Okay.
Getting ready.
Players in, in the huddle.
Reps to give the signal that they are ready to start.
And here we go.
Two receivers, one on each side.
We have a quarterback in shotgun.
Running back is directly behind him.
Ball hiked, keeping, looking for his guy, cuts up the middle and he's sacked.
Two point conversion is not good.
I believe that was number.
is that the La Owen Leapshire was the acting quarterback on that play so all right nine minutes now left in the game the ball the clock is still moving as we are in running clock scenario and so now the Eagles have yet another chance to try to make something happen to get that zero to go away I'd love to see it be a six I'd love it even more if it became an eight okay okay let's see what happens here
Eagles looking for something, anything.
I think that's one of the fun things about football.
I was talking to my wife about what makes it so unique and the fact that football for how violent and scary and like the things you can do, how hard you can hit the tackling, it's just the fact of the rest in between each play.
It's like just waiting for
a bow to fire, you know, and letting it go.
And you have that moment of stillness before an explosion.
So we'll see what happens here.
Every play can become a touchdown.
Enough things go your way.
Nice long kickoff.
CJ's got the ball now.
Has one guy to beat.
He makes it.
And he's able to go out of bounds.
And number 30 for the Blue Jays, able to make that is Charles Olkowski.
And now the Eagles take over on offense.
On let's see here that would be where they place in at the 32 33 yard line 32 yard line on their own side Seven minutes and 30 seconds remain in this game Here we go All right Sam is back on the field so it's good to see him up the cramp is feeling good ball hiked Ethan keeps breaks one tackle, but he kind of did it backwards and so he's gonna get sacked
Nice job by the Blue Jays to swarm him and break him down.
Okay.
Right now the Eagles are just athlete flow mix.
Everything is just not working today.
I put all the credit on the Blue Jays defense.
Their front four, front five, whatever that is, has just been awesome.
And it feels like the Eagles receivers have been able to kind of make some space.
couple's separation plays, although well guarded by the safety.
It's just they've been making it so Ethan's just been running around today a lot.
Motion left, fake handoff.
Now the quarterback keeps looking to throw, has space, decides to keep it, and he's going to be tackled from behind.
It's going to be a gain, so it's not going to be a sack, but it's not going to be that much of a gain.
About two yards, maybe three.
And so now third down and about eight to go here.
Well, it's about a five-yard gain.
I forgot he did get sacked before.
So yeah, a five-yard gain, so a third and eight.
Six minutes remain in the game.
All right.
Screaming eagles.
We have whistle.
Oh, a trainer's going to the other side of the field.
Okay.
I was like, wait and see if there's a timeout.
Okay.
Once you can see the other side of the field, the refs will let them resume.
There we go.
Five linemen, two tight ends, one on each side.
Mark on the right, Nate on the left.
Ethan, I'm sorry, Mark in motion.
Ethan hands off and now Mark keeps.
Oh, he faked me out.
Man, that's, I'll love it when that happens.
That was a great handoff by Mark Oskivarek.
as he got it to Nate Nichols.
The only downside is that Mark went flying down the field and Nate got hit in the backfield.
So no one else bought that fake except for me.
So that hurts my pride.
It's okay.
I only have an eagle eyes view from up here.
Oh man, five minutes and 20 seconds remain in this quarter for in the game.
Excuse me.
Fourth down and six yards to go and they're going for it.
Why not?
Love it.
I love the fourth down revolution in the NFL as well.
More teams going for it.
Has more tension for receivers two in each side.
Ethan going back in shotgun has time has space throws and looking for a defensive pass interference, not getting it.
If it was a defensive pass interference, maybe, but I like when the refs let him play.
So no good.
Turn over on downs and it will be back in the hands of the blue jays with four minutes and 40 seconds remaining and the clock keeps on moving Okay, Sam back out there in quarterback so good to see him up on his feet from the cramping he had earlier It looks like his hamstring was cramping and I've had those before and those suckers hurt All right All right four line minutes looking like
Quarterback in Chacon, receiver one on each side.
Ball hiked, hand off right, carrying, cuts it back inside, trying to carry it left.
Nice job by the running back for the Blue Jays to get a few yards and keep it inside the hash marks.
Second down in six yards and they are at the Eagles 32 yard line.
Blue jays still leads 64 to zero with three minutes and 50 seconds left in the game Alrighty Blue jays taking their time As they walk up to the line here looking like four months three linemen tight ends on the left side two running backs in the backfield with the quarterback under center wide receiver is right Pitch to the left if I won cannot get by the second guy
Nice tackle by number 15, Nate Nichols.
And it is now third down and five after the one yard gain.
All right.
Nate Nichols looks to aggravated the injury in his right hand again.
He's kind of trying to shake it off.
Three minutes remain in this game as the clock is
moving.
Blue Jays got their play.
Moving up to the line.
I imagine it'll be another run play.
All right, four on the line.
Two receivers to the right, one left.
Shotgun.
Okay, Sam's got it.
Looking at his receiver.
Has the outlaw decides to keep it, runs up the gut,
break it through, great balance, staying on his feet, and he breaks yet another tackle.
Oh, wait, there he goes.
Nice job.
by is that Nate Nichols to hold on to his foot?
No, no, number 17.
Excuse me.
That is Ethan Autoson is able to hold on to his ankle to keep him from careening down the sideline after breaking three or four tackles.
After all is said and done, still a great run by Sam as it ends up getting the first down for the Blue Jays and they are now entered into the Eagles red zone.
The ball is placed at their Eagles 19 yard line.
It's first and 10.
Two minutes now remain here.
in the fourth quarter.
And Blue Jays still lead 64-0.
Okay.
Blue Jays probably got a couple more plays they're going to run if they don't score.
I imagine they might do victory formation.
Handoff on the motion to the right.
There's a holding penalty it looks like.
We'll see to confirm it is holding on the Blue Jays so they're going to go backwards.
And I mean by the time
They've run this place the ball, where the foul happened, move it back 10 yards.
There's only going to be time for one more play left in this game.
It's a minute 20 right now.
The ref is now moving the ball back 10 yards.
And Blue Jays will resume their drive first and 20 at the Eagles 29 yard line.
And we'll let you know the time, the clock here once the Blue Jays get back up on the ball.
They've got their play.
There's literally one minute left.
Here we go.
Looking like it's going to be four players on the line, shotgun, two receivers, right, one left.
All right, ball hiked.
Sam's looking, has the receiver open to the right on the flat, gets it to him.
He cuts it inside, up the field, and a nice little game there.
I like the play design to get that ball, run it up the field, and get like, you know,
Seven yards or so then depending on where they're placed.
Maybe it was five six either way You really enjoy good play design there and the blue Jays are going to Looks like they're probably just gonna run the clock out
Yeah,
the game's over they're not gonna run another play they're bringing it in good leadership by the blue Jays They're not gonna run another player and you don't need to like I said You'd hate to see someone get injured on that and so with 10 seconds left
That is going to be the game here in five, four, three, two, and one.
And your victory goes to the home team of the Three Lakes Blue Jays.
64 to zero against our swam against the Cuban Eagles.
That one hurt to happen, but hey.
still had a good time, still had a lot of fun having football.
The home crowd here was wonderful.
We like to see the support of our local high school sports, not just football, but all of them in general.
And for that, we thank you.
Well, once again, the final score is 64 to zero.
The Three Lake Blue Jays beat up the Schwab against screaming eagles here in Three Lakes.
I'm Stephen Jettlin on behalf of the 103.1 Trailmix.
Thanks for tuning in and next week.
The Eagles will have their very first home game.
They had to reschedule their second week to go back on the road.
We're still very thankful for Cornell for doing that.
And we are going to be, it is going to be Friday, the September 11th, where Phillips will be in Schwammigan Rival Team in the Rival School in our own area.
So look forward to that.
We'll be back here next week here on World 3.1 Trail Mix.
Thank you gentlemen.
Thank you for tuning in tonight and have yourselves a wonderful night.
Good night.
