The following is a special sports presentation.

WIAA High School Sports is brought to you by Heckman Auction.

and by Longer United Booster Club.

Now, all the excitement of WIAA High School Sports.

And welcome everybody.

Jeff Haken and along with Jeff Leibscher.

We are here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

And we have high school football action.

It is eight man football action.

And I got a special guest here with me tonight.

Jeff Leedshire, my good friend here.

We're going to get some insight on this Three Lakes team over here.

He's the dad of one of these guys, Owen Leedshire, the star of the Three Lakes Blue Jays team over here.

So Jeff, really nice to have you with us.

Get a little insight, a beautiful night for some football.

Perfect.

It's always nice to come up here to Three Lakes.

It always seems like it's beautiful weather.

It's not.

It's not.

Well, we bring it when we are here.

And it's going to be a lot of fun here tonight.

Both of these teams played well last week.

Three lakes coming up a win over Florida.

And that score was 20-12,

I

believe.

20-12.

There you go.

And your boy, Owen Leamshire, he's going to be a wonder watch on this team.

Four touchdowns in this game.

He had a kick return touchdown, I believe, of 80, 90 yards.

88 yards.

88 yards.

You know, one thing to see pre-court doesn't kick the ball off a lot.

You're going

to get a

lot

of stitches in this

weekend.

We'll see if Olin gets one of those right there.

But, you know, they're going to have their hands full with this.

Phillip Loggers team coming off a loss against number one ranked Gilman.

They still don't know who they are, Jeff.

You know, they're trying to see it.

They're not that 56 to nothing, you know, that they lost to number one, one-ranked Gilman, a younger team, four seniors on this team.

They lost about seven from last year.

So a lot of inexperience here.

And, you know, I think it's going to be a fun match up here tonight.

They're set to kick off here in just a moment and kicking off for the Phillips loggers.

It's going to be, who is that kicking off?

Kenny Drexler, Nate?

We got Owen back deep.

If they kick through that hole and back deep and there's a squid kick right at the top here and that's why they do it and See it looks like three lakes did fall on it And I believe they did so three lakes falls on it at just about midfield right at the 49 yard line and They're gonna start out

First in 10, they're at midfield and yeah, Jeff, it's kind of the boring part about it, but you're not gonna feel a lot, but there's a reason for it, right?

Oh, and got one last game,

and

JJ had three or four last

game,

and it's a big risk.

Not a lot of people are gonna kick, not a lot here, exactly.

Here we go here.

So, the three-legged Blue Jays lining up, and at quarterback, they're gonna have that Sam Cachuda.

So, Cachuda from the shotgun, he's got a couple receivers to his right, couple to his left, and this water's defense.

And it's going to be a quick little drop to Olin.

Leaveshare up the middle.

He goes, picks up a couple yards.

Maybe two, we'll give him three yards.

Maybe we'll see where they spot it.

It looks like about three.

It's going to be a big thing to see how the offensive line can handle your defensive

line

here.

Yes, exactly.

That's going to be a big part of it right here.

And three lakes comes out here with 12 players, not a lot.

Not a lot.

So

as this game wears on, that's a big thing that you're going to see.

Again, from the shot, going to Leaveshare in motion.

They're going to drop back a quick pass into the flaps.

Owen catches this one and close to the first down.

He got it.

I think he got it.

He did get it.

Nice reception there from Owen Leedshire.

And the Blue Jays, we might see him mix it up a little bit, Jeff.

I'm guessing pass it a little bit, run it a

little bit.

He'll pass, he'll run.

And I like this quick offense.

They're going right at it here again.

Now we've got four receivers split to the right, all alone in the backfield to shoot up.

See if the loggers can get a little bit of a

Pressure up the middle.

It's going to be a quick pass to this right side.

Jack Webb making the move.

Westfall and a nice job.

He picks up.

Maybe it's going to mark him out after a pickup of about seven.

So this three lakes offense, starting out this ball game, marching it down the field.

It's going to be second down.

And we'll say about four from the loggers, 33 yard line.

11-10 to go here in this first quarter.

Just underway.

First possession here for the Blue Jays.

Blue Jays in their blue helmet.

What are we going to call it?

Kind of a charcoal dark gray pad or I mean pants in Jersey's white numbers with some blue stripes with some blue stripes.

Loggers in their black pads or black pants, white tops, black helmets like the black helmets and quick.

Some pressure coming up the middle.

Oh, it's dropping the past.

It was almost should have been a reception right there.

Getting some pressure was trace Calhoun for the loggers.

They made it a quick throw and a drop pass over there for the Blue Jays is going to make it third down and four.

Pretty good pass under pressure.

Absolutely.

Really nice play.

This Blue Jays offense looks real good so far.

And Blue Jays in the huddle here.

Again, it's third down and I'm going to say about four from the 33 yard line.

11 minutes, six seconds to go here.

Three lakes from the shotgun.

Two receivers split to the left, two to the right.

Cachuda with Westfall in motion.

He's going to drop back to pass and a little bit of pressure and they get on him and throwing him down is going to be who he got there.

Looks like Will Piszka was in there along with.

Maybe Derek Piszka.

Dylan Seidenbender.

Dylan Seidenbender.

Just a freshman.

A few freshmen on this team here.

Dylan you're going to see in this ballgame playing a little bit.

and some nice pressure there from the loggers and a big one there and I think the Blue Jays are going to go for it on 4th and 12th and it's at about the 42 yard line so 4th and 12th they're able to pass it so they're not afraid and from the shotgun here to receiver split both sides we're going to go for a hard count see if they can get them to jump that was a fun one to do that leaves her in motion

from the shotgun and all kinds of time here's some flags go down quarterbacks gonna run it and he goes to his knee here tackled short of the first down likely gonna be uh holding holding on the blue jays and probably declined by the loggers the holding there yeah loggers will decline and head coach steve pre-court leading the way here for the loggers

And the Blue Jays turn it over on down to start it out nicely, but Jeff, it shows what a penalty can really do here.

Kind of nice having the referees mic'd up.

Yeah.

And here we go.

It's going to be longers ball here now.

10-06 to go.

It's going to be first in 10 for them from about the 38 yard line, 37 yard line.

Kenny Drexler in the backfield all by himself.

He's got Wade Vedder to the left.

I think Caden Morgan.

to the right and better gets it weighed to the right side unit speed gets around the corner and the first down he's got it looks like he stepped out of bounds I believe he did after he picked up the first down weighed better showcasing that speed weighed just a junior here and it's going to be first down here for the loggers stack weavers is a strength of our line over there number 70

And he's a big boy over this six foot four two hundred and fifteen pounds and he's a strong kid.

He holds concrete also And here's the waters again here first in ten here now Drexler, he's gonna keep it himself up the middle He goes picking up a few here chugging along.

He's tackled.

He picks up a few or see where they where they spot it Nice defense there by the blue jays and it looks like he picked up about four close to five yards.

It's gonna be second five

From the Blue Jays 46 yard line 940 to go here and counting in this first quarter Kenny Drexler the senior at quarterbacks quarterback keeper on that one They're gonna step up to the line of scrimmage here Drexler from the shotgun.

He's got Wade better to his left and Kenny gonna keep it himself And he's gonna be tackled nice play on defense there here badly and Jack West called got in there.

There we go

Nice defense there from three lakes, throwing the loggers back.

And it's going to bring up about a third and seven, a loss of maybe two on that play, Jeff.

Yeah.

The defense line stood up at that time.

Yeah, right up at midfield here.

Push back the first couple plays.

At the 51 yard line.

It's a little inside joke there.

Mix the only one back home laughing about that one.

All right, here we go.

Third and seven here for the loggers.

Drexler from the shotgun and gonna get it to better on a counter wave He's gonna pick up the first down up the middle.

He goes way better.

Maybe picked up.

I don't know over 15 yards on that play And Jeff you're gonna miss direction there.

Yes get in and that's what the loggers like to do it It's it's it's simple plays.

It's a run up the middle to the right run to the left counters And you know you just execute and that's what the loggers do Steve pre-core

Doing a fabulous job as always he was the coach of the north versus west all-star game Just about a month ago.

Oh really?

Yeah And here's the longest from the shotgun and it's gonna be trace Calhoun.

He's gonna keep it going left side using his speed I can't see where he stepped out.

He picked up a few I'm gonna say four and It's gonna bring up a second down and five he picked up about five yards on that play

Can you see if coach starts bringing up the safeties and the linebackers a little bit?

Yes.

Jeff, you're going to notice here the loggers are a run heavy team.

It's going to

run, run, run.

And they're going to have to do that.

And the loggers keep it simple and execute.

And they're going to run behind the strength of their offensive line here.

And it's going to be a counter at Calhoun up the middle.

Trace Calhoun in a few handoffs here, the junior.

A couple of nice running backs for the loggers.

Trace Calhoun, Wade Vetter.

two juniors for the loggers, along with Kenny Drexler.

The loggers seem to always keep producing some running backs in their system.

It's kind of next man up, JJ Haken, and last year

along with... They

said they had a good one last year.

They had a couple good ones last year.

You know, three quarters of the way through the season, there were so many good running backs for the loggers that, you know, before injuries that, you know, each guy got about, you know, six handoffs.

Here the loggers are again here.

It's going to be a direct hand off to Vetter.

Vetter cuts back to the middle and a quick move.

Vetter, he's picking up a lot of yards, but he loses it.

Fumble bit and it's going to go to Three Lakes.

That's a big break.

That was a big break.

Vetter moving right down the field.

He tried for a little extra on that one.

Lost the ball.

Three Lakes,

they pick it up.

And that's going to fire up the crowd over here in Three Lakes.

Hey, I like this.

This whole area looks like they've redone a lot here.

I see a lot of seed being planted and landscaping being done.

That's a new parking lot across the way.

All those white things.

That's the surface for the track.

Okay.

They're going to start putting that in this week.

Nice.

So things looking good here.

Looking up for the Three Lakes Blue Jays.

Beautiful facilities that they have over here.

New bathrooms and concessions in.

Nice.

Not better than the Porter Potty.

I don't have to use the tree again over here.

All right, here we go.

Here's a handoff left side.

I think that's lead shirt.

He's got it.

Olin's got it.

Tries cutting back to the middle, picked up a few.

Let's see what he picked up there.

It's hard to see from here.

He might have picked up four yards on that.

Maybe

five.

Maybe five.

A bruised instep on one of this.

Or an

injury from football season?

From football last week.

OK, from last week here.

So Olin, who had the four touchdown game for the Blue Jays against Florence,

Back at it here again.

He's been a big part of this offense so far for the Blue Jays and it's gonna be a second five here for the Blue Jays from post to the 20 yard line their own 20 yard line from the shotgun to shoot a And he gets up so he's looking at the pass from the right side a lot of pressure at him and finds the receiver down the field picks up the first down

And close to the 30 yard line, maybe about the 27 yard line.

Garret Manley, that's going to be a blue jay.

Garret

Manley, first down for him, or for the blue jays.

Jeff, I feel like it's a back and forth game here.

We're going to have an even match up here.

It almost might come down to one of these things of who gets tired first.

I think that's going to be an issue for us all year.

Yes.

12 guys here.

How we survived the second half.

Yes, and 12 guys, not to mention just 12 guys, but you know, 12 guys, and you got some freshmen and sophomores

out

there.

As well, so good job here for the Blue Jays.

We do have good numbers in the middle school.

Sure.

Here's Undercenter this time.

It's Cachuda, and he's going to drop that.

It looked like a pressure right away, got away from it, and who was on that one right there?

I think that will Pishka.

No, that was Trace Calhoun.

So the junior making some plays on offense making some on defense trace Calhoun They're not hot here for the loggers.

It's gonna be a loss at two on that one I'm gonna bring up a second down and 12 From about their own 25 yard line 615 to go here in this first quarter Clock is ticking and it's zero to zero is the score

Blue jays on the second possession of the game here.

It's going to be a quick little drop in a fumble here and the laggers jump on it.

And was there a whistle?

I think they're going to call an incomplete pass.

Okay, so incomplete pass here.

Three lakes catches a break there.

So is the break.

It's going to stay with them.

It's going to be a third and 12.

And I think that was really close Jeff on that one.

Could have been a completion and a fumble, but I think they got the call right.

Yeah, I don't think you ever had no six minutes to go.

First quarter, zero to zero is the score.

The three lakes blue jays.

Step up to the line of scrimmage.

And leave sure in motion quarterback drops back, looking to pass somewhere and now looking for somewhere to run.

They got to get out of a holding penalty on that one as.

Quarterback.

steps out of bounds.

And longers were only rushing to two.

Longers rushing to two on that one.

They were dropped back for a little bit of defense on that one.

There was a holding call and it's going to drop them back 10 yards and those are crucial.

Those are killer, Jeff.

So it's going to move them back and it's going to bring up a third and 22, isn't it?

So third and 22 coming up.

We seem to be going in the wrong direction.

Yes, and it kind of makes a couple good plays and then two steps forward, two steps back here for the Blue Jays so far early on in this one.

A penalty this time is what hurt him.

And here, the Loggers defense set and ready.

And the Blue Jays...

In the huddle right now, 5-52 to go here first quarter.

Both teams moving the ball well, hurting themselves, stepping on their own foot with some penalties and turnovers.

And here's the Blue Jays up to the line of scrimmage from the shotgun.

It is Cachuda.

And we're going to get a false start on Leafshire, I believe, on that right side.

We'll see if that moves them back even more.

I believe it

is.

Fresh move.

Fresh

move.

So at full start, it's going to move them back.

It's a long way.

I don't know.

Are we third down in 27?

I believe.

So third and 27 here for the Blue Jays, they're all the way back to their own 10 yard line.

So not a spot that you want to be in ever back there.

A lot of pressure right now not to make a mistake here at the 10 yard line.

And they got to pull off a little bit at a time here.

Blue Jays from the shotgun.

And looking to pass, four receivers go deep.

And quarterback, he's going to keep it.

He's going to try to get up the sideline, picks up a few, and gets close, maybe up to that 18 yard line.

Close to a hit out of bounds there.

Sure, yeah.

I'm with you on that as he's running out.

And it's going to be a fourth down.

They bring on Zach to punt and 22 and they are gonna punt.

Yeah, they'll point and big Zach Weaver The senior six four two hundred fifteen pounds Probably the biggest boy out here tonight.

He's got a good leg on him

too.

He had a 60 I think a 69 yarder last year and Kenny Drexler back to receive here for the loggers Weaver it's this one off nice punt there by him

He kicks it way back all the way to the 40 yard line.

Kenny Drexler catches this one and he's met right away by a few blue jays.

Kenny, a nice job.

Just holding on to that, Jeff.

That's not as easy as it looks.

Kerry Mandalay with a nice play.

Just to slow him down enough for Owen and Peter to finish him off.

A big thank you.

It's going to be Laugher's ball here.

535 to go here first quarter.

Laugher's.

From the 45 yard line, they're on 40, we'll say the 44 yard line.

535 to go here

and...

Loggers in their huddle right now, Bluejay's defense set to go.

And does Owen play on the defensive side?

He's in safety.

A safety back there.

Drexler in the backfield by himself.

Got better to his left in motion.

Kenny going to keep it, looking to pass it.

He does get this one up and making the catch down the field and stepping out of bounds.

Mark Hoagland, just after we talked about the longers don't pass a lot, but when they do, it's effective, Jeff.

And we did move our defense up and they lost track of the receivers.

Yep.

And he was able to get behind them.

Kenny, it wasn't a perfect throw.

It was up and they got caught up in the air a little bit.

And Mark Hoagland, a six foot wide receiver over there, makes the catch and the first down.

Going to be first down.

for the loggers and it's gonna be Kenny gonna keep it left side he goes drug down by a couple from behind but not before he picks some up here in the loggers they're gonna have to hold on to the ball here Logan running with the tackle 5-10 to go here and ticking in this first quarter 0-0 is the score yet and the loggers stepping up to the line of scrimmage

They're at about the 22 yard line.

No, I'm sorry, about the 18 yard line.

And what are we going to get here?

A timeout here.

I think the longest might have come though.

The Blue Jays call the timeout here with five minutes to go here.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

Jeff Haken and Jeff Leamshire here to the Jeff and Jeff show on 98 Q country here.

We have high school football action and a handoff.

On that right side, the Wade Vetter gets across to the 10th.

He's into the corner of the end zone.

Jeff, I can feel it coming.

There's the first score of the game.

Wade Vetter gets around the corner on the right side.

And he's a fast kid.

You can see his speed and athleticism out there.

Gets the touchdown on that right side.

Wade Vetter scoring for the Phillips Lawyers, making it 6-0.

And they're going to go for the two-point conversion coming up here.

And it's going to be Calhoun.

And if he get in, I don't think he does.

No, he's assured on it.

So the logger's no good on the two-point conversion.

And it's going to be loggers kicking off here when we come back out of this timeout here with 4.52 to go.

Loggers take the lead 6 to nothing.

We're going to send it back to 98-Q country and on the Civic Media app for a one-minute timeout.

Jeff Haken and along with Jeff Liebscher and Nathan Pottle up here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

And that was just a kickoff, a squib kick from the loggers over to the Three Lakes Blue Jays there.

And they tried squib kicking it to them, Jeff.

And they didn't even get to the 50 yard line there.

I don't even think it went to 10 yards.

It was a little scary.

We don't exactly have our hands, people up there.

And you'd be surprised at the loggers that make this work once a game.

It seems like.

But it's going to be Blue Jay's ball here from about midfield and from the shotgun is a cashew and a flag before anything starts.

Is that a false start?

I'd imagine unless somebody's outside for loggers.

So a snap infraction under center and the center was kind of point talking to the referee about the umpire about something that the loggers were doing.

that he wasn't too thrilled about.

Nonetheless, it's going to move the Blue Jays back five yards.

And it's going to bring up a first and 15 here with 450 to go first quarter.

I think we have more penalty yards than we do have offensive yards.

You're probably absolutely right here.

It's really close.

Again, from the shotgun, Cachuda, he gets a look and a pass here, and Lager's get a little bit of pressure up the middle.

Can't get the sack, but, and McCoy, no, that's Derek Piszka.

pushes him out of bounds and it was nice pressure to start out there from Will Piszka got through and Derek Piszka, the Cousins, knocks him out of bounds.

Blue

Jays need

to look at some quick hitters here.

Yes, open things

up a little bit.

And

did they lose a few yards on that play as well?

Yes, they did.

So it's going to bring up a second down and looks like 21 for the Blue Jays from the

40 yard line, roughly, their own 40 yard line.

And under center this time is Cachuda.

And he's going to pitch it right side here and up the field.

And I don't know what they're going to call that one on.

I don't know if he grabbed the back.

That's what I'm looking at if they did call that right there.

It looked like kind of a slap to the back of his

head

on a tackle.

We're going to see what the referee calls here.

A flag was thrown.

It was a pick up or it was a hold.

And it looks like it might be because they're talking to the Phillips loggers side.

Nonetheless, 439 to go here, it was a second 20.

And what are they going to call?

Holding on the offense.

That's how to use

decollab.

Okay, so holding on the offense and they declined it.

It's going to bring up a third down and 15 from the 45 yard line.

Okay, so the loggers declined kind of just not sure why they declined that one.

Well, they've been getting good pressure.

Yes,

maybe

that's part of it here.

They don't think they can get the ball down the field.

From the shotgun is Cachuda again for the Blue Jays.

Loggers leading six to nothing.

There's Leabcher in motion.

Gonna look for him on that right side and nowhere to go.

He's gonna keep it himself and not pulling the trigger.

He runs out of bounds picking up maybe a couple on that one right there and it's gonna bring up a fourth down in 13.

And with all those receivers out there, I can just throw it out there on time.

I think you need to start pulling

the trigger a

little bit.

Pull the trigger.

And you know what guys make plays here?

Easier said than done.

Easier said than done.

Easier said than done.

Maybe bring somebody across underneath.

We've got this nice view from above here, Jeff.

It's easy to do up here.

It is, for sure.

And the Blue Day is going to punch here.

Big Zach Weavers.

Kicked a nice, probably a 50 yarder at least in that last one.

That was a nice punt.

And he's going to do it again.

He's got a nice boot here again.

Kicked this one up, and this one's going to hit the ground.

Lager's going to get away from it.

The boot is going to let it roll.

Now we're going to go

all the way down to the 9-10 yard line.

So there you go.

50 yard punt there from Wyatt, Ryan Zach Weavers.

And loggers are going to start out deep in their own territory from the 10-yard line.

421 to go here.

It's been a long first quarter, hasn't it?

It really has been.

The last five minutes.

Yeah.

A lot of penalties.

Yeah,

loggers leading 6 to nothing here.

420 to go.

And it's going to be Kenny Drexler from the shotgun.

with better to his left.

He's got Calhoun in motion.

Kenny's going to keep it himself up the middle.

He goes and nothing going there.

Looks like no gain there.

It's going to be second down.

Drexler trying to run that one to the right side and hit a wall.

Jack and Zach.

Jack and Zach over there.

The defensive line on that left side for the Blue Jays making the stop.

Four minutes to go here.

First quarter again.

Longers leading six to nothing.

Wade Vetter had a nice touchdown run for the loggers not too long ago and then getting a stop now they got it again deep in their own territory all the way back at the ten yard line.

Drexler from the shotgun.

It could be Drex snap to Cal who would know the Wade Vetter they're gonna throw the flag might must be holding better cut back into the inside he's wrapped up picks up the first down but likely holding is gonna bring this one back.

Three flags on the field.

We'll see what they call.

Definitely in the vicinity of holding.

That's going to be a half the distance to the goal line, right?

Yes, because they're at the ten yard line.

So half the distance is going to bring up a first and five or second five.

It'll be second and fifteen, I'm sorry.

Second down at fifteen coming up for the loggers.

And here we go.

Loggers in their own end zone.

Coming out of the huddle up to the five yard line.

Drexler from the shotgun at the one.

Wade Vetter going to keep a

count of

us left side to Calhoun.

Calhoun.

A nice break for him.

Gets up to about the 11 yard line and a little bit of breathing room for the Loggers.

That was a big play right there, Jeff.

That was a big play.

A six yard pickup for Calhoun doesn't sound like a lot.

Big difference.

Going to bring up a third down.

And about eight.

Loggers have it at their own ten yard line, just past the ten yard line.

Three minutes to go, just under three minutes to go.

Once again, good push by the line.

Yeah, the offensive line.

Yeah, the loggers have been noticing that, getting that nice push on the line here.

So I'm going to watch as this game goes along.

Drexler from the shotgun.

Veteran motion.

Drexler.

trying the hard count it doesn't work he's going to go right side up the field he goes Kenny and nowhere to go and maybe picked up a couple it's going to be a fourth down

cackled by a flock of blue jays that's going to bring up four

cackled by a flock

of blue jays

i like it i like that two minutes to go here i think

they're

going to punch or they're going to go fourth i mean the loggers i've seen crazier things here well they're defenses

Shut down the Blue Jalf.

Yeah, I won't be shocked if the loggers go for it.

I won't be either.

And the loggers in the huddle, in the long huddle here.

And

do they try the hard count right away?

Nope.

It looks like they're going to punt it

or fake it.

Leap shirt.

He's going to drop back.

He's going to watch that fake though.

Coach says, be careful.

I don't trust it.

I think they're just going to let her punt it.

Yes.

Better.

He's got it.

He's going to keep it.

He's going to go left side here.

And Blue Jays are there, and he might have got it.

Where do they put him up?

I think he got the first down.

No, he's going to be short, I think.

So

a

nice one there from Wade.

I think

that's where his foot stuff goes.

I believe that that is going to be a turnover.

Then I'm going to bring the chains out on this one.

Stop.

Just short.

That's going to be a Blue Jays.

First

down for the Blue Jays.

Turn over on down.

And that's going to be good possession.

A minute.

30 to go here in this first quarter and the Blue Jays, they're going to have it at the Loggers.

No one had a nice charge because he started to drop back and saw the fake.

And a few Blue Jays were over there to make that stop and Wade just about got there.

He dove to get ahead.

All right, Loggers going to have to make a defensive stand here.

Minute 31 to go, first quarter.

And under center here, it's going to be a pitch right side going back left side.

This kid's got a little bit of wheels.

He picks up the first down

zone.

In that left corner, he gets in for the touchdown.

Jack Westphal, the junior,

gets in the end zone, ties this ball game up at six a piece.

And back and forth, these teams

go.

Jeff, we said it was going to be a game like this.

We kind of figured it would.

Westphal gets into the end zone, and I believe they're going to go for two.

I'm

sure they'll

go for two.

Although Zach's a pretty good kicker.

Sure.

Pied up at six here.

Pastures we brought in soccer players to kick theirs.

There we go.

And...Kashuta, that's back into the huddle here.

Minute 22 to go here guys.

It's tied up at six three lakes with a chance to take the lead going for the two-point conversion And under center Cachuda And he's gonna keep it himself in it looks like he's tackled right away kind of a quarterback keeper that went nowhere And the loggers interior defense was able to make the stop there so that's gonna be the score here right now six to six

minute 22 to go first quarter and we're gonna send it back to 98 Q country and on the civic media for a one minute timeout.

penalty flag and welcome back everybody.

Jeff Haken and along with Jeff Leedshire, Nathan Pottwell here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

It's eight man football here and this is the Blue Jays.

Just tied this game up at six to six a piece after a 20-yard touchdown run from Jake Westfall.

Is it Jake?

Jack Westfall.

Jack Westfall.

Click through the block in the back on that return.

Okay, so the loggers had a nice kickoff return from Wade Vetter, but there was a legal block in the back.

It's going to move them back somewhere around the 20 yard line.

And longers gonna start out way back there at the 20 yard line minute 17 to go We're still in the first quarter in the long game Wow, we might be here till 10 o'clock here.

I think so So there's been a lot of stoppages and Drexler from the shotgun For the longers gonna keep it himself up the middle He goes he's got a little bit of room Kenny and gets the first down a nice ten yard run there from Kenny Drexler Minute 12

to go.

I don't know if the clock started.

There it did now.

And the loggers.

You've got to have a little trouble picking up that misdirection.

Yeah, I feel.

Loggers are finding it.

I feel like the loggers are finding some big play opportunities here as this moves along here.

They're going to step up to the line of scrimmage again.

Drexler along with Vetter.

It's going to be Drex snap to Vetter.

Vetter up the middle he goes and Wade up the middle.

First down picks up about 13.

It's going to be a first down for the loggers.

Holes to the 45 yard line.

They say their own 44 yard line.

And moving the ball here on this drive very nicely, that offensive line, opening up some holes here.

They're going to keep the same thing going.

It's going to be better again up the middle.

They're seeing something happening with this right here, and they're going to keep feeding.

The horse weighed better, picks up about 15 again on that one.

And we're seeing the same play over and over, so the defense is liking something he sees on this right here.

The

defensive line is getting pushed way back.

Yes, and you're seeing that the Lager is really hurrying up on the offense here too.

They're going to try to get one more playoff here before the first quarter ends.

And it's going to be a direct snap to Vetter.

Vetter, he's going to...

Pass this one deep and he's got Mark Hogland catching it down by the goal line.

Touchdown!

Mark Hogland and they drop him, but no, it is a touchdown.

Loggers score on about a, what was that, a 50-yard touchdown pass here from Wade Vetter to Mark Hogland as the first quarter comes to an end.

And it makes it 12 to 6.

Loggers.

And a beautiful pass there, you know, run, run, run, run.

Right.

And then the pass, it shocked us though.

And there were two lakes.

One defensive man out there and two receivers.

Yes.

So Lager's going to go for the two-point conversion here.

They seem to see that the Lagers are more physical.

Yes.

And you can already see him starting to wear the blue jeans down.

Yeah, there's a lot of time to go in this game here.

Yeah, Lager's going for two.

Here's Drexler.

from the shot, but he's going to keep it.

Looks like he's going to pass.

He passes the opposite side and they only dropping the catch over there with Caden Borg.

And that was his two point conversion to have that one went between his hands.

No good.

It's 12 to six loggers leading into the first quarter.

And we're going to send it back to 98 Q country and on the civic media app for a one minute timeout.

Jeff Hakin and along with Jeff Leibscher and Nathan Potwell here in three lakes Wisconsin in the second quarter.

You have just the second quarter about to get underway here in a little bit.

The logger taking a 12-6 lead right before the end of the first quarter and they're going to kick off here.

And going to be Kenny Drexler with the highly likely a squib kick again here for the loggers.

And loggers are set.

And here it is, there's the squib and three lakes doesn't fall on it and they locked out and got it.

Again, Jeff, you can see why the loggers do it.

It gets so close sometimes.

Three lakes walked out and fell on that one at their own 40 yard line and they're going to start their offense out.

Second quarter here, loggers leading 12-6.

You know, that takes a return man out just because they're not kicking it to him, but that's also one other guy that can.

jump on the ball.

Yes, absolutely.

So the Loggers almost got a lucky break on that one.

Good job, Garrett.

He reached out and grabbed that one, pulled it back in there.

The Loggers were about to jump on it.

And

second quarter, just about to start here, guys.

Back and forth, both teams are going here.

Both teams doing some good things and doing some bad things.

One step forward two steps back for the Three Lakes Blue Jays has been the story though with their offense penalty has been hurting them a little bit and here is Their offense cashew to from the shotgun look at a pass here right away and Gonna go left side and maybe picks up a couple yards not exactly sure and Flo to pull the trigger.

Yeah, the own runner.

Yes route second down coming up here and Maybe picked up one on that one

We're going to need some quick hitters.

Yes, dropping back is not going to work.

Yes, too much pressure.

And those quick hitters worked right away in that first quarter.

It seems like right out in the flat hitting the guy.

And the longers have been able to get some pressure, though, when it's been taking too long.

11.53 to go here.

Second quarter, the Blue Jays with the ball in front of us working from right to left with their blue helmets, blue pants, no real great pants, blue stripes.

Phil's vloggers on defense here's some pressure and gets a pass off the lead share makes a nice catch lead share and makes a move to the inside to pick up the first time down beautiful move there by your son Owen lead sure and Jeff is it kicked in yet that last year he's a senior it's gonna be tough it's gonna be tough and and and all these are you know the first last right that you go through here well I went through it last year with Charlie you did with Charlie that's

right

and I got five more years with Lily but that was the same route

That was ran on the last play and it was just as open.

It was open, exactly.

Here we go again.

It's going to be a first in 10 here.

From about the 45 yard line and a quick hitter out to that right side and Westfall.

Picks up about four yards on the quick hitter, just like we talked about

that quick

hitter.

Pulling the trigger is a big part of that right there.

He's been doing that on the last couple of plays.

and three lakes going to step up to the line of scrimmage.

You're from about the Waters 43 yard line, second and sixth, and he's a quick hitter to Westfall again, and he's tackled from behind and kicked up a few short game, but a nice tackle from behind there from Will Piska.

Will Piska does a great job on defense, kind of flies all over the field.

Nice seeing him on the team here.

And it's going to be third down in, let's say, five here for the Blue Jays.

From about the 42 yard line.

Blue Jays stepping up to the line of scrimmage.

From the shotgun.

Kasuda got Westfall in motion and drops back to pass.

And this one taking a little while.

He's going to keep it himself.

Picks up the first down on this one, though I believe we're real close.

I believe they're going to give him the first down.

They do.

So first down for the Blue Jays, they move the

chain.

Down to

about the 35 yard

line.

We'll say the 37 yard line.

So the Loggers had the routes covered that time.

He opened it up for Sam.

Yep.

So he made a good route or a good call on that to keep it in run.

10 minutes to go here, second quarter.

Loggers leading 12 to 6.

This drive looks a little bit better.

Some good adjustments.

Yes.

This one's a little bit smoother here for the Blue Jays.

They're trying to get back into this game.

And close the gap here.

And out of the huddle, they come up to the line of scrimmage, first and 10 from about the 36 yard line.

And it looks like maybe a timeout is called.

And the Blue Jays are going to call a timeout here with 9.37 to go second quarter.

Loggers leading 12 to 6.

We're going to send it back to 98-Q country and on the Civic Media app.

for a 30 second or one minute timeout.

Jeff Hakinan along with Jeff Leibschir and Nathan Podwell here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

It's a 12-6 lead for the Phillips vloggers.

in this eight man football game but the three lakes blue jays are driving here right now it's first in ten for the blue jays at about the thirty five yard line and please back to pass but some nice pressure and escaping the pressure though is the quarterback and gets to the sideline and gets something made something out of nothing right there and that's them to shoot us with a couple nice runs in this in this drive and picks a couple up there it's second down in eight now

from about the 34 maybe.

And the blue days are driving.

So you got Sam's split out this time.

Yep, and you got Westfall in the backfield, so changing it up here, and you got Leibster in the backfield as well.

and direct snap here.

They're gonna throw Wade back to leap shirt and he's gonna go back the other way and picked off by Wade better using his athleticism and Wade making a nice play on what was a nice play from the Blue Jays to start out Wade read it right off the bat though and got the interception.

Going through that on his back foot.

Yep, going backwards.

Yep, 9-22 to go here.

In this second quarter, it's going to be Lager's ball off of the turnover, and at about the 44-yard line, they're going to start.

Triumph's going to have to start doing some things like that.

Hopefully they work with all the pressure that the Lagers are getting on them.

And here it is, and it's going to be Wade, Vetter, up that right side.

No one's going to catch them all the way for the touchdown.

Wade, Vetter, his second touchdown.

This one might be coming back.

Is there a flag on the field?

Oh, there is a flag on the field.

That one's going to hurt.

It was right on the snap, too, so probably a motion.

Let's see what they call it

here.

People in

motion.

So illegal motion, so the touchdown from Wade Vetter going to get called back.

That one hurts.

And here we go.

So taking it back here, 9-12 to go.

Wade Vetter with the electrifying run was brought back and it's going to be Lager's football here first and 15 from about the 39 yard line.

I don't think anybody was within 5 feet of him.

No, he was so wide open.

The hole was huge.

Wade's really fast out there.

He's showcasing his speed out here.

Loggers up by six here that would push this game made this real tough to come back here Here's Drexler gonna be keeper.

No, it's gonna

be

better

again

down this right side Wade says I did it last time I'm gonna do it again one guy to beat at the 10 They're gonna catch him at the five-way better.

He just ran about a hundred yards

in the last

place Caught at about the seven-yard line Wade wanted that one back.

He got it back.

Good job.

I could shoot a stay with that one.

Yes

And Wade's got to be a little tired after that one right there.

He's hunched over.

But you know, if you're in that position right there, Jeff, and you run two runs like that, you would say, Coach, keep me in here because you got to give me the

touchdown, right?

Give me the ball again.

So, Wade, it looks like he was holding his elbow maybe.

I'm not sure.

He's hunched over.

He's probably just tired.

He's going to stay in there.

845 to go here in this first quarter, second quarter.

Drexler from the shotgun.

and Vatter is gonna get it again up the middle he goes and into the end zone he goes he fell in there and they're gonna give him the touchdown he did get it he did get it so they gave it to him one more time for the touchdown and it's gonna be 18 to 6 they're gonna go for the two point conversion coming up here in just a moment 833 to go here loggers with a two touchdown lead they need to get this extra point though it's been it's been tough

for both teams to get an extra point to the two-point conversion.

I should say Kenny Drexler coming in with the play call from head coach Steve Precor.

And here the loggers going to the two-point conversion right now.

Three guys tighten the backfield for the loggers and Drexel snaps Calhoun up the middle.

Trace goes for the two-point conversion.

Trace Calhoun makes it 20-6.

So it's loggers leading.

We've got 8.33 to go.

Go ahead, Jeff.

I'm guessing they're feeling better than last week at half

time.

A

little bit.

A little bit, yes.

Yes, a little bit different here right now.

22 to 6, or 20 to 6 vloggers lead.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

And welcome back everybody.

Jeff Haken and Jeff Leamshire and Nathan Padawalt here in Three Lakes Wisconsin.

Eight man football going on here right now.

The logger is just extending this lead to 20 to 6.

And kicking off is Kenny Drexler.

A little squibber kick over the top.

It goes keeping Three Lakes on their heels and falling on it for the Cardinals.

Peter Cruikson.

Peter Cruikson.

Cardinals.

Cardinals.

That's a dirty

word right there.

It is.

That's a Blue Jays.

Wrong color.

Wrong bird.

That's the credit.

Eight and a half minutes to go.

It is.

It's the Crandon Cardinal, isn't it?

Right.

And we were just talking about the conferences here, a new conference again.

And Jeff, who is this conference?

I believe it's Rib Lake, Prentice, Phillips, Three Lakes, Hurley, Schwamegun, Hurley.

There we go.

It might be Elko White Lake, I'm not sure.

So here is three lakes turned.

Right now under center this time is Cachuda.

Cachuda with two backs behind them.

It's going to be a pitch to Liebshire.

Left side, Liebshire cuts back inside, makes a move, picks up about 10 yards.

A beautiful run there from Owen Liebshire.

And he's shifty when he gets the most.

He's very shifty.

We're seeing that right now.

Very shifty back.

He's definitely a guy you want to get the ball in his hands.

A big play opportunity, a big play back.

Olin-Liebshire.

And it was a nine yard pickup.

And it's going to be a second down and one here for the Blue Jays.

And under center again is Cachuda with two backs behind him.

and it's going to be handoff to Westphal.

Westphal, he's hit right away, doesn't pick up the first down, and a couple loggers in there making the play.

Junior Kennedy was one of them.

Luggers are hitting hard tonight.

Luggers are hitting hard, and we talked about that a little bit, Jeff, the physicalness of the loggers.

Luggers match up well, size-wise, physically-wise, and it kind of shows the 20-6 lead right now.

Sure.

And it's going to be third and one here, not even one, for the Blue Jays from their own 44 yard line, 43 yard line.

So one yard to go here for them, two play down here, or territory.

And under center is the quarterback.

And it's going to keep her, and they call the play dead.

So watch the three lakes line.

They are not pushing forward.

Yeah, they call the play dead.

What what happened right there?

Was there an illegal?

What's that delay of game?

That's going to move them

back.

So once

again, they get close.

Yes.

And then that's been the story here.

They were third in one.

They were second one.

They were third in one.

And now here they're third and six.

All the way back to the 38 yard line.

So

in the

huddle here right now,

again,

we talked about this Blue Jays team impressive when you see

12 kids on this team here.

Sure, they're warriors.

And they're playing their heart out.

From the shotgun here, right now, quarterback Sam Casciuta, the junior with Weemsher in motion.

Casciuta, up the middle, quick hitter for the first down.

And a nice one there to Mandalay.

Garrett Mandalay making the catch, gets the first down

and moves the chain.

Seven minutes to go here second court.

I feel like we're like in the fourth quarter winding up We got seven minutes to go.

It's

been a long it's gonna

be it's gonna be midnight when we get back so good night, Jeff Good things in this there's Colin pre-core one of our sponsors down.

They're gonna have you there Colin And here we go from the shotgun

That can shoot it back there?

It is.

He's got four receded.

It was to both sides.

Get this one up

in his own.

He wants that one back right there.

That was a touchdown.

That was a touchdown.

That was a touchdown right there.

That was a nice rope.

It was.

It was beautiful.

He got there over the head.

A Willie May's catch he would have had to make it was there.

I hit him in the hand.

I hit him in the hand.

He's going to want that one back.

It's not sugar coated.

And here we are.

It is going to be a second and 10.

And that would have made it a ball game again

here.

All those quick hitters set up the cornerback for that one.

He did a quick hitch and goal.

I like to play calling here for three lades.

And what they're doing, they're really changing it up and keeping the loggers defense on their toes.

And they're going to try it again.

Kasuda from the shotgun.

Got three receivers to the left.

It's going to be hand up to Westfall, left side.

He goes and tackled a nice tackle there from Caden Borgin.

and saving a first down.

Good run by Jack.

Yep, and it's going to be a third and four coming up here from the, what do we say, the 45-yard line for the Blue Jays and from the Waggers 45-yard line.

Six minutes to go here in this first or the second quarter.

Waggers leading 20 to six from the shotgun.

Kasuda got two receivers to the right and two to the left.

And the loggers jump.

And I didn't see anyone from Three Lakes jump, but I did see three loggers jump.

So that's going to give the loggers Three Lakes the first down.

And

with 446 to go, first down for the Blue Jays, the chains move and the Blue Jays going to have it.

Where are they at here?

Jeff, the 40 yard line.

40, right on the 40.

Alright, Koshuda steps up to the line of scrimmage from the shotgun.

And he's looking back to pass.

He's going to roll out to the right side.

And this one gets in the receiver's hands and hits the ground.

And another drop there.

Right there, this one here from Peter Croxton.

That's four big drops in this game.

And here we go.

And it is a second down and nine coming up.

Boy, they're just deflating too.

Yes

And up to the line of scrimmage come the blue jays With five and a half minutes to go that clock just keeps stopping it is never running.

It's 20 to 6 and From the shotgun

Rolling out right side.

Now back to the left.

Almost a

hole.

Almost a hole.

Gets away with it there.

And a nice

run there from

Kasuda.

Maybe gets the first down.

I'm not sure where he ended up, but that was almost a loss.

Ends up getting a nice gain on that one.

Kasuda.

And we talked about almost a hole on that one, but almost, but it was a nice play there from the offensive line, letting him go when he had to.

Five minutes to go.

And it's going to be a third and inches.

He didn't pick up the first down on that one, so a third and inches here from the 30 yard line for the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays?

Driving, it's a slow drive, but it's a drive.

Slow drive, this might be a good time to put Big Zach in the back.

There you go, and let him see what he can do.

Fall forward.

Leaveshirt, he's going to come into the game.

He says, give it to me, coach.

I won't drop this one.

Yeah, I won't drop this one here.

All right, leave sure he's going to split wide left.

And are we going to get a timeout here?

I believe we are.

It looks like a timeout on the field.

And with four and a half minutes to go, it's 20 to six walkers leading the Phillips Blue Jays.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

Welcome back everybody.

Jeff Haken and along with Nathan Padawals here and Jeff Leedshire in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

There's four and a half minutes to go here second quarter and it is a 20 to six lead four.

The Phillips vloggers over the Three Lakes Blue Jays, but the Blue Jays are driving here from the 31 yard line.

It's a third in inches and trying to move forward.

I don't think they got it.

I think they got moved backwards.

and not going to get it's going to bring up a fourth down when I believe standing straight up though you can't stand straight up I think goal line play like that or short yardage play I should say yeah so here we go that moved them back I thought it moved them back more than that but it didn't once again this this battle has been one in the trenches

it

is it is four minutes to go here and a fourth and inches here

Probably the game on the line here, Jeff, on this play here right now.

And here we go, quarterback under center.

And a pitch right side, it goes and moving ahead, I believe Westfall got it.

Looks like you got over the line, so that's what he had to get.

And it's going to be a first down for Jack

Westfall.

And first down here for the Blue Jays.

And it's going to be first down there for them at about the 30 yard line.

Am I right about that, Jeff?

I think so.

320 to go here.

And the Blue Jays got to get into the end zone.

As close as his drive is, then they need to get going too.

Yeah.

And here they are from the shotgun.

And here we are, Blue Jays.

Here they go.

Back to pass.

So pressure from the loggers, they're going to make the throw and a nice catch by Liebster on that one for the first down.

That might have been a pickup of about 20 yards there.

Jeff, that was your boy Owen.

Sam Cachuda did a nice job.

He did step

forward and threw a nice rocket.

Cachuda for

Bluejay!

Cachuda gets it.

And Bluejay is first down.

Looks like they pulled the safety to the other side of the field with that motion and it opened that round up.

So here we go first and 10 here from I think they're at about the 12 yard line of the loggers Two and a half minutes to go plenty of time here Jeff and back to pass here or from the shotgun Cachuda and he's gonna hand it off here.

Is that Westfall?

That was Mandalay.

That was Mandalay Mandalay gets it and loses some yardage on that one So clock is ticking here 210 to go

Defense was in there the second he had the ball.

Yep, the loggers defense got right back in there and From the shotgun here is going to be again here likely as We got a second what 14 coming up and the

blue

jade coming out of their huddle And Here we go here's cashew to from the shotgun he's got three receivers to the left he's got

Leapshare to the right.

And here's from the shotgun.

Looking to go to the right, nothing going there.

And pressure from the waters gets the pass out.

Leapshare in the corner.

It dropped that one in the corner.

And there's still time left here.

Minute 26 to go.

So one struck two touchdown passes.

On this drive here right now, and it's still going to be a third down here and I think it was 14 Wow a lot of time here yet.

He wants that one back.

He was left wide open down there He's using money.

Yep.

He's made some tough ones dropped a couple easy ones here tonight and The loggers catching a break there because three weeks to really use a touchdown on this possession here to get back into this ballgame

And from the shotgun is Kshuta.

And here he is, back to pass, Kshuta.

And a sack there, I believe it's a sack.

That was Derek Pishka.

Derek Pishka, diesel.

Baseball season, we call him all pole Pishka.

And the football season, we call him diesel.

Derek, with the sack, he's going to bring up a fourth and 14.

And they're going to go for it, obviously.

Minute to go.

And

in the huddle, Liebscher brings the play call in here.

50 seconds to go.

They're going to run this down.

Yeah, he don't want to give them a... No, not the way we wait.

We wait.

Vedder's been running the ball.

Here we go, from the shotgun.

Kasuda with a man in motion to the right side.

and looking to pass not a lot of pressure here and here it is now though and getting on them and I think that's Dylan Seidenbender and that is number nine the freshman a big sack 30 seconds to go and the clock is stopped here and is that a change of possession

that is

a change

that is

longer it's got 30 seconds to run a play here

And they're not going to be afraid to hand this one off to Wade Vetter.

Wade, a couple touchdowns in this first half.

Kenny Drexler from the shotgun all alone.

And he's going to give it to Wade on this side.

Wade, with one guy

to beat, gets

over the top and you can see it coming.

Wade, using his blocker ahead of him all and chips over his blocker.

20 seconds to go here.

And Wade, he wants it one more time.

And wait better.

Quite the run.

And

going to be a timeout coming up here.

It is with 20 seconds to go here in this first half.

It's 20 to 6 loggers leading.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

Welcome back everybody.

Jeff Hakinan and Nathan Padawaltz along with Jeff Liebscher here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

Down the last 12 seconds here the loggers with the ball trying to punch it into the end zone and it's been way better having some real nice runs here.

They're not afraid to hand him the ball right now.

He's finding holes and getting down the field and

Don't be shocked if they hand him the ball one more time.

I

did it

there one time out love.

We got two shots added here.

They called another timeout here.

Might have seen a little lightning strike I've seen out there in the distance.

Maybe I'm wrong about that.

It could have been.

It could have been.

Nonetheless here it's the longer in a timeout here again right now leading 20 to 6 and called back-to-back timeouts after one play in between.

That's why we're here right now.

But they're marching here and have the ball.

Right now, where is it at about the 27 yard line?

27 yards to go as they come out onto the field.

And who just desperately needed to stop here?

Yeah, they really do.

And you've got Caden Borgen now from the shotgun for the longest.

He's their passing specialist.

Jeff, let's see what they do with Caden.

Caden gets it.

He's been a lost one on this side.

And Kenny Drexler was almost picked off.

Kenny had a hand on it.

Seven.

Seconds to go.

Well, they don't have to burn time out on that.

Yep.

And that one goes out of bounds.

So this clock stops.

Third and five coming up from the 27 yard line.

Good pressure by the Blue Jays.

Yep.

And it's going to be loggers here with another opportunity.

I won't be shocked if I see the counter plate away.

You gotta think they've got

a nine away.

I don't.

Yes.

And here we go on that right side.

It's been working over there.

And going to give it to Wade on this right side.

He gets through the line of scribb.

It's there every time.

Jeff, we talked about it.

Wade gets into the end zone.

Touchdown.

Wade better.

Right as the clock ticks down to zero and makes it 26 to 6.

And 26 to 6 here, they're going to go for the two-point conversion.

And Wade's got the number here right now handing it to him on the right side.

He's got

to have no answer.

Break by one guy and he's got the open field.

So it's been the Wade Vetter show here for the Loggers 26-6.

They're going for the two-point conversion and it's going to be a direct snap to Wade and no good as that one goes, hits the ground and tackles hard as Wade Vetter on that play.

He's got

to get a lot of credit to that line though because

There it is nobody's even touching way.

Nope.

He's coming through and yep He's coming through hard on that one one guy to beat and then it's a long run to the end zone So that's the end of the first half here right now and 26 to 6.

I'm not sure what the officials are talking about And we'll see here, I guess we'll talk about it later That's got to be the end of everything Anyways here right now.

I think there was maybe a little bit of a tough tackle that they're talking about I'm not sure if that's what it was

Not a big deal to me at all.

Anyways, 26 to 6 is a score at halftime.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a five minute timeout.

We'll be back and bring you to Ford Bank halftime show.

Jeff Haken and here along with Nathan Pottawell here.

Right now it is half time here in Three Lakes.

Ten minutes to go here in the half and it's been a nice start for the Phillips Loggers leading 26 to 10.

I'm sorry 26 to six here tonight over the Three Lakes Blue Jays.

It kind of became the way better show as the

second quarter rolled along on the blue.

He's not really having an answer to his athleticism and speed Wade better.

He's probably got all of 150 yards in this first half here.

Um, right now, Wade's been doing a fabulous job.

And, uh, you know, the three lakes team, um, a little bit short on, um, players, you know, 12 guys on this team right here right now.

So, you know, the longers with 18, it can wear on a team, you know, with only 12, but the three lakes.

Blue Jays are, they're sure doing their thing.

They're doing a great job out there and it's just been hard for them to deal with Wade Vetter here tonight.

But a beautiful night for some football here in Three Lakes.

It's not too hot, not too cold.

As the night goes on here, the lights are on at beautiful facilities over here in this little tiny town in Three Lakes, but a nice atmosphere.

a nice sports venue here in Three Lakes.

It's nice to come and watch it.

We've had the pleasure of Jeff Leaveshire helping us out, giving us a little bit of insight.

A good friend of mine here, he would go on a little popcorn run Nate and get us some snacks here.

He says the concessions are pretty good over here.

We'll see you

on the fifty-fifty.

Oh yeah, he

wanted two hundred bucks on the fifty-fifty, so he's sitting good.

So he's buying snacks for us here right now, but

Um, nice job for the three lakes blue jays as well.

Oh, and leave shares made a few nice catches.

He also dropped a couple big ones.

Um, that would have led to touchdowns, um, for the blue jays, but also, uh, um, you know, the quarterback doing a nice job reading plays.

I really liked the play calling of the coach, really switching things up for the blue jays.

You're seeing lots of different, um, formation, lots of different, you know, pass it, run it, really mix it up.

Um, the same goes to be said for coach pre-core changing it up.

He's run, run, run, and then the effective pass.

And that pass has been effective when they did it.

Mark Oglen scoring a touchdown on a pass play as well.

So yeah, it's been nice to start here for the Lagers early on.

They're going to chug along and keep going, making this.

Waits touchdown that made it 26-6.

Really put it out of reach here right there.

That's going to make it a tough one.

The second quarter was the Wade Wetter Show.

It really was.

It really was.

You're starting to see it's a long.

It was a long first half.

What time is it, Nate?

I mean, it's a long first half.

8.19.

8.19.

And, uh, you know, we had a long ways to go here, um, in this game here, but, you know, the Blue Jays, we talked about, they're going to get a little bit tired.

You're only having 12 guys and I'm trying to keep up with ways better and whatnot.

So what a nice job by the Blue Jays.

I'm trying to keep up with the firepower of the Phillips Lawyers.

It's 26 to six here.

Seven minutes to go here in this, um, half time.

then we'll be coming back and bringing the second half.

But we're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for about a three-minute time out, and we'll come back and give you the rest of the Forward Bank post-game

show.

And welcome back everybody.

Jeff Hakin and along with Nathan Pottawell here, we are in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

And a couple of minutes to go here in this half time here.

It's been a long start here, a long game here

so

far.

And we're over here in Three Lakes.

It's a 26 to six lead for the Phillips loggers over the Three Lakes Blue Jays.

And last week, the loggers played the number one ranked Gilman Pirates.

And, you know, we really didn't get to see where the loggers were, you know, they lost 56 to nothing.

And, you know, I think the loggers come into this game kind of said the same thing, you know, they don't really know exactly who they are.

And, you know, here they're kind of finding themselves able to accomplish some things, get some first downs, do a little bit, get some production, I should say, and Wade Vetter in the second half, he's been doing a nice job, or I should say that second quarter.

doing a nice job, letting his athleticism do what it does.

And he's, you know, the fastest kid out there and you're kind of seeing it, but he's breaking through that first line of scrimmage and he's gone.

We got Jeff Leach out here for a minute.

Let's get Jeff on here for a minute.

I want to thank him a little bit for helping us out here in this first half, but Jeff, good to have you here today.

It was a lot of fun.

Nice having you run this first half up.

got to visit with you over the weekend, got to do a little fishing up by me, what not.

And it's always nice when I come out here, get to, you know, see your family and hang out.

It was nice to get a little bit of insight on this three lakes team from you.

And, you know, we're in conference together, I guess you're, you're now so interesting to see all that.

And, you know, the, the, the loggers kind of a powerhouse that they have.

They've had a, you know, a lot of years of a lot of success.

Steve Precord is such a well job.

of running this, and it feels like they just kind of keep feeding this program with more kids, more running backs that you're seeing way better fitting right in, you know, right where J.D.

is.

And we're

just off.

We're down right now.

He said good middle school numbers.

Good

middle school numbers to start anyways.

Yes.

As long as you stick with it.

First year head coach, Pat George.

He brings a different style here.

He'll do a nice job and build this program.

You know, we talked a little bit.

I like some of this play calling here.

Really mixing it up a lot.

They made some good adjustments.

Yep, they made adjustments doing some things and just keeping the loggers on their toes a little bit.

Same thing for the loggers.

I like how their play called from Coach Precourt.

The pass plays were effective.

Sure, you know, he only did it a few times, but they were effective when they do it.

And we kind of talk about Coach Precourt is going to run, run, run, heavy run and then make that pass at the right time.

And nice, nice, nice play call from both teams.

in that first half.

Second half coming up.

I'm interested to see how teams adjust here right now.

Wade Vedder really found something on that right side.

He sure did.

Running that right side there.

It's three lakes able to adjust.

I know they might want to.

Do they have the personnel?

I don't know

if they

have the physical ability to do

it.

Having the depth over there and in the loggers.

you know, with them counters and whatnot.

It makes it difficult.

They found a spot.

They've been, you know, finding the weaknesses of the hole in the armor and they finally kind of found the hit it there.

And Wade Vedder is such a strong, fast beast of a running back that, you know, he was able to execute on those.

I'm curious to see how the kids come out in the second

half.

Yes.

You know, they got beat up in the first half.

Are they going to come out here and play harder or just lay down?

Yeah.

Anyways, it's going to be the Blue Jays kicking off here.

Who do we got there big back weavers gonna kick this one deep and able to pick it up and go with it I believe that's Wade better and Wade with a nice run back to the 40 yard line Ran it hard.

He tackled hard Who is 20 24 the Blue Jays?

That would be Dylan Dylan.

He's a

freshman at Walsh Lager

and that

took better down over the steam coming at him.

Just a freshman.

Good job Dylan.

Absolutely a great job there

from Dylan.

So the loggers in the huddle, right now, coming out of the huddle here, they're going to start out first and 10 from the 40 yard line.

And out of the shotgun here is Kenny Drexler.

Drex snap to him.

He's going to keep it.

Go left side.

Kenny gets around the corner up the field.

He goes in close to a first down may have gotten it.

I think he did.

And they're going to move the chain.

So first down run there from Kenny Drexler, the quarterback, the senior.

I think a lot of your sub are going to get some playing time.

There's been a here.

Kenny, Kenny works for me.

Kenny Drexler, good little roofer.

It looks like that ankle is doing a little bit better.

11-40 to go here in this third quarter.

26-6, Lager is leading.

It's their ball.

Kenny going to keep it again and go left side.

And he's wrapped up.

No gain on that one.

Dylan again.

Dylan again.

Making a couple tackles there for the Blue Jays, the freshman.

11-20 to go here.

Clock is ticking.

Longers with a 20-point lead.

15 more they need for a running clock.

And up to the line of scrimmage, they go.

Drexler and Vetter in the backfield.

It's going to go right to Vetter.

Vetter on this right side, the play that works so well.

A

stiff up.

Up the sidelines, he goes back to the inside.

He's going to try the left side.

He's going.

One more guy to beat.

He's gone way better.

Touchdown.

He's got no speed and power.

Pretty good move.

He's a pretty good running back.

Just a junior.

He's got another year to go yet.

And he's got everything you want in a running back, showing it right there.

And Wade Vetter, the big touchdown run, 32 to 6.

He's walking away with this Jeff Hicken and Ruffin player of the game.

Absolutely.

Defenses and coming up a meeting block.

Yeah,

they're just they're

going they're gonna have

to two point conversion goes over the head of Calhoun on the ground He goes two point conversion can't be returned and oh and did the nice gentleman thing and didn't jump on top 1050 to go 32 to six the loggers leading here right now and it is gonna be loggers kicking off here in just a moment We are gonna send it back to 98 Q country and on the civic media app for a one-minute timeouts

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Pottawell here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, 1050 to go here in this third quarter.

And it's a 32 to six lead for the Phillips Loggers over the Three Lakes Blue Jays right now.

Blue Jays with the ball here right now, right in front of us, working from right to left and working from their own 33 yard line.

And it's going to be quarterback Kshuta from the shotgun.

And he dropped that one looking for someone to pass to a quick here.

Hits Owen up the middle.

Owen tackled quickly by Calhoun.

And a gain of maybe two for Owen.

And 10.30 to go here.

Clock ticking.

Still a couple scores away from a running clock.

And good popcorn over here.

We'll call a good popcorn over here.

Give it a B. Close to a C. Looking at a C.

You could have a CF a pop on his free leg, but Jeff was really breaking it up.

Got a lot of grease stain on the bag.

I like a good

grease

stain on the bag.

10 minutes to go here, guys, from the shotgun.

Here's Cachuda.

And looking to pass.

And a quick hitter up the middle and caught there.

And a nice play, a nice reception from Cruxen.

Cruxen picks up the first down in about 12 yards.

He's about to

bounce the top of the clock.

Yeah, got out of the box.

Stop the clock.

We want the clock rolling.

Joel Karnick

We

want to roll it out.

We've got a long drive.

We've got a long drive back.

And it's going to be first in 10 years for the Blue Jays from about the 47 yard line, their own 47 yard line.

And coming in is Cachuda with the play in the huddle.

Blue Jays have a long hill to climb here.

Get back into this one down 32 to 6 to the Phillips loggers.

And it's going to be

Bluejay is the ball.

Here is Kasuda under Shotgun.

First and 10.

And it's going to be a quick pitch back to Leamshire, Leamshire, and makes a nice effort getting up field, but he's tackled there by Dylan.

No, who is that?

Is that Will Pischka?

It is Will Pischka.

Will Pischka's got made some nice tackles here tonight.

Pischka tackling Leamshire on that one after a gain of maybe one or two.

And BlueJays coming out of the huddle.

Lager's defense is ready.

Lager's at their white tops, black pants, black helmets.

BlueJays blue helmets.

Kind of a turquoise gray uniform.

Some blue stripes.

And from the shotgun, here's Cachuda.

And he's going to roll out to the right side, being chased by Drexler, gets a hold of him, and a nice catch.

by Liebscher, makes a tough one, and up the field he goes, gets past the receiver, the defender, and into the end zone.

He goes, oh, and Liebscher, a nice touchdown.

No flags on the

field, and his dad had just left us here.

Here

he is over there, he's proud of

that one, and makes up for the drop touchdown that he had earlier, and makes the score 32 to 12.

That running clock even further away from us.

Nice.

Nice run there from Liebshire.

And they're going to go for two, I'm sure.

9-02 to go here.

And the Blue Jays offense finding something there in the passing game.

And see what they do here now.

Got a receiver split wide to the right, two in the backfield.

And it's going to be a pitch left side.

So leave sure he's tackled.

I don't think he gets in.

He does not.

No.

And two point conversion, no good.

It's 32 to 12, nine minutes to go.

Third quarter, we're going to send it back to 98 Q country and on the civic media for a one minute timeout.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Padawals here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

Here's a kickoff from the Three Lakes Blue Jays and Dana Calhoun picks it up and runs it back to about the 40 yard line.

And a nice score on there from the Blue Jays on that touchdown pass to Owen Leedshire makes it 32 to 12

and

nine minutes to go here in this third quarter.

It's going to be Lager's football and they are yet to stop Wade Vetter here since that second quarter.

Loggers offense in the huddle here right now and up to the line of scrimmage they go And you got Drexler in the backfield At quarterback he's gonna keep it himself left side he goes and Drexler

everybody he's gonna get the touchdown 20 10 5 Kenny Drexler touchdown loggers

You'll be talking about that one tomorrow

845 to go.

Joel Karnick

You told me it was going to score a

touchdown.

32 to 38 to 12 is the score, Kenny Drexler.

A nice run there.

Up to sidelines he goes.

And it's been a lot of long runs here lately showing the fatigue, you know.

To be like explained with 12 players here tonight, not getting a lot of breaks and the two-point conversion.

for the loggers coming up here.

It's going to be a direct snap to Calhoun.

Calhoun catches it up the middle and into the end zone.

He goes.

Two-point conversion is good.

40 to 12 is the score.

845 to go here in the third quarter.

And we're going to send it back to 98-2 country and on the Civic Media app for a one-minute timeout.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Padwell here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, eight man football.

It is a 40 to 12 lead for the Phillips loggers over the Three Lakes Blue Jays right now.

And it is the loggers kicking off a little spooch kick from Kenny Drexler over the top.

And following on it is Westfall.

I believe it's going to stay with the Blue Jays.

And it's going to be first and 10 for the Blue Jays.

from their own 42 yard line 40 to 12 here right now and Blue Jays that's a nice offense going with their passing game in that last drive with Owen Liebscher with a nice touchdown catch and he's gonna be split out on this left side and Three Lakes stepping up to the line of scrimmage

Pashuta from the shotgun.

We've got a receiver in the backfield.

A couple receivers to the left.

Here's Leaveser in motion.

Right side.

Back to pass.

Looking for somewhere to go.

And nothing happening.

And McCoy-Dulaski almost gets

to the

back.

He gets away.

And the pass is completed over to Westfall.

And probably about a 5-6 yard gain, I think, on that one.

So Three Lakes doing a nice job making something out of nothing.

McCoy was close to getting

a big

time sack back there.

But the athleticism of Cachuda, the quarterback, getting away from it and getting a six yard playoff of that, it's going to be second down and four for the Blue Jays from their own 47 yard line.

And to the line of scrimmage they go, here is Cachuda.

And he's got Westfall in the backfield with him.

A couple of receivers to the right.

From the shotgun, he rolls all right side.

Quick pass to Leaveshaw.

That one dropped.

And it's going to be a third down and four coming up.

Third and four coming up here.

Four of the Blue Jays.

And the defense holds there for the loggers on that play.

Eight and a half minutes to go.

And clock has stopped with all these passes, Dave.

And up to the line of scrimmage, the Blue Jays go here.

Third and four from the 47 yard line, eight and a half minutes to go.

Lager's leading 40 to 12.

Here's Kasuda.

No one in the backfield.

A couple of receivers split both sides.

From the shotgun, he's going to look to the right side to avoid the fact.

Can't do it though.

He did avoid the fact.

How did he

avoid that one?

Not only did it avoid it, he's going to go for the touchdown.

Down the left side, 30, 20, 10, 5 touchdown.

Kasuda with a big score.

How did he avoid the sack?

That was fun.

He was about sacked by about three different loggers, gets away from it, and it's a big open field after that hole happened.

He ran down the left sidelines for the touchdown, 40 to 18.

Westfield, I'm sorry, Kasuda gets the touchdown.

814 to go here, they're going to go for the two point conversion.

The only problem with a play like that, everyone's tired when they get down there.

So,

two point conversion.

They have to go here.

Here's Cachuda.

Just a junior.

Six foot three, Nate.

And here he is.

From the shotgun.

Got a receiver in the backfield.

And looking to pass and gets it out.

I think it hit the ground.

It was so good.

Lots of pressure there.

From the loggers, will Piska getting in there?

Piska been in on a lot of plays, 8-14 to go third quarter, it's 40-18.

The loggers leading the three lakes, Blue Jays, we're going to send it back to 98-Q country and on the Civic Media app for a one-minute timeout.

And welcome back everybody.

Jeff Haken and Nathan Padawals here in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

814 to go here in this third quarter.

And Three Lakes coming off the touchdown run there.

It's 40 to 18.

Logger still leading.

And Three Lakes going to kick it off.

Big Zach Weaver's pooch kick up the middle.

It goes a little play out of the loggers playbook.

And following on that was Trayvon Crystal.

Trayvon.

Getting some action here.

And it's going to be Lager's football.

And they're going to start out here first in 10 from their own 42 yard line.

Let's play 43 yard line.

First in 10 coming up here.

And up to the line of scrimmage they go.

Drexler from the shotgun.

Yeah, Borgen, who is right, and going to be hand-off to Kate.

And no, Kenny going to keep it himself, makes a little move, escapes a couple of tacklers, and maybe picks up only about a yard.

Nice defense there from the Blue Jays.

Going to bring up, I'll say, a second eight coming there, Nate.

And that's as cold as we thought.

We forgot our sweatshirts here tonight.

We're not needing them too bad.

Got to be about 60 degrees here yet.

Under eight minutes to go.

Every time they look at the clock, I feel like it's been eight minutes, right?

40 to 80.

Logger's leading this ball game right now.

And Logger's with the ball.

Second eight.

Drexler in the backfield.

Borg into his right.

Kenny, he's going to keep it.

Try to juke a couple of guys with their defenders in the backfield.

Going to be a loss on the play.

Blue jays.

Back in the logger's up a couple yards, maybe a yard.

718

to go.

Clock is ticking here.

Third down coming up for the Loggers.

And the Blue Jays muster in the energy to get through this year.

Jacksler running the play in.

I like the lights out here Nate.

Beautiful night here.

It's calm.

Very

quiet.

Little cloudy.

Little cloudy.

The moon poking out over there.

Here's Drexler keeps this one again.

He's going to keep it up the middle.

He goes maybe picks up a yard and a broken play on a bad snap right there.

And fourth down coming up fourth and about little over five.

For the loggers right at midfield.

Joel Karnick

You know they're going for it.

Yeah, they're going to go for it.

And haven't seen a wade.

I was thinking the better thing.

Sighting.

Is he out there?

Is he out there?

He hasn't ran it on this no question here

yet.

6.20 to go here.

Clock is ticking away.

Loggers with the ball.

4th down.

Big play here.

Going to go to Wade.

Wade on this right side.

I guess we're

Wade

going.

Wade is gone.

30, 20, 10, 5.

Touchdown.

Loggers, Wade better.

Just a little too strong, a little too fast here.

6 minutes to go.

Yes, 5-6 touchdowns for Wade here tonight.

So a nice job from the Loggers.

46-18.

They're going to go for the 2-point conversion.

And Wade having a special night here tonight showcasing his speed and and speed and power as well drink Yeah, just running through and not a lot of guys touched him on that one though and Up to the line of scrimmage they go two point conversion coming up here 604 to go.

It's 46 to 18 loggers leading Gonna make it 48 to 18 And here they are the flag on the play play is called dead must have been a full start We'll see what they call

And

going to move them back.

Five yards.

It's going to be a seven yard attempt now, I believe.

For the two point conversion.

So the loggers huddle up.

Probably going to change their play call a little bit.

I know a play that's been working lately.

It gets way on that right side.

Here we go.

See if the Blue Jays got an answer on this one here.

from the shotgun.

Kenny's going to keep it.

He's going to look to pass.

Kenny picks it up.

Mike, if that gets the playoff, oh, he did what a pass from Kenny.

Gets a two point conversion.

It is good.

Beautiful pass there from Kenny Drexler.

It's Caden Borgen in the corner of the end zone, and it's 48 to 18, 6-04 to go.

And with that said here, 48-18.

two-point conversion.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a 30-second timeout.

Joel Karnick

And welcome back everybody.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Pottawell here in Three Lakes.

Wisconsin for eight-man football action here.

This is a conference game here.

It's a matchup between the Phillips loggers and the Three Lakes Blue Jays.

Loggers leading 48 to 18 here, 6-04 to go in this third quarter.

Loggers up by 30, 35, and we get a running clock.

What we've been waiting for a little bit here, and Kenny Drexler, you've got a squid kick here for the loggers over the top of the front line, and the Blue Jays jump on it at their own 40.

And it's going to be the Blue Jays.

Starting out here at their own 40 yard line.

Sam Cachuda leading this offense here.

He had a nice touchdown run on that last possession.

He's made some really nice plays there.

That last one was, it was a signature of his game here tonight.

He was both sacked by three different lagers, came out of that tunnel, got the touchdown.

And gonna try to do that again here.

Blue days don't want that running clock.

They want to keep this going here.

And Koshuda.

From the shotgun.

Back in the backfield with him.

Koshuda.

He's going to have a little room to run here.

He's going to do it now.

He's going to try that right side to the sideline he goes.

And pushed out of bounds there by Trayvon Crystal.

He's going to move the chains.

And stop the

clock.

Stop the clock.

And from about the loggers, or from about the loggers 45 yard line now, gonna be first in 10 for the Blue Jays.

5-53 going to go here in this third quarter.

48-18 is the score, loggers leading and looking to make a stop here.

Blue Jays scored a couple of possessions in a row themselves though.

And here's Cachuda from the shotgun, he's got a back in the back field.

A couple receivers out there looking to pass.

Kasuda.

And there's a

penalty going to be a holding penalty.

And up the right side, Kasuda goes.

And it's going to be brought back.

He went up for about 10 yards there.

The holding penalty early on in the play.

And we'll see they call here.

They call it right now.

It's going to bring it back here.

It's going to be a first and 20 coming

up.

So first and 10 here, first and 20 going to be here now back into their own side of the field here, their own 45 yard line.

And another play call here for the Blue Jays.

Got to find a way to get this game rolling a little bit faster.

We're barely over halfway through.

And Blue Jays, there you go.

He says start the clock.

540 to go here, third quarter.

Bluejay, step up to the line of scrimmage.

Here's Cachuda from the shotgun.

And back in motion here, Cachuda looking to pass.

And McCoy don't ask, you know, Derek Pishka gets in there and makes the sack.

Gets the sack, big sack's gonna be a loss of about six, gonna bring up about a second or...

Second and 26.

And keeps the clock rolling.

That's one good thing.

Five minutes to go here now.

And the Blue Jays in the huddle.

They come up to the line of scrimmage here.

Looking from right to left, the Blue Jays from the shotgun.

Got to get something back on this play here.

Second 25.

Here's Cachuda from the shotgun looking a pass.

He does.

Finds the receiver at midfield and a nice pickup right there with about 10 yards.

Going to bring up a third and 15 from the 50 yard line.

Third and 15 coming up here for the Blue Jays.

420 to go here in this third quarter now.

Mark Oglin coming out for the loggers.

Getting a little short break here.

Blue Jays.

Getting a break whenever they can.

12 guys on this roster.

They only got four on the sidelines at a time for the Blue Jays.

Four minutes to go here now.

In the third quarter, from the shotgun is the Blue Jays.

And looking to pass deep, and I'm going to go with a hold

on that one.

Yeah, right.

I

thought so too.

And going the other way, and a first down for the Blue Jays.

A nice run there from Cachuda.

and a nice job from Three Lakes getting the first down.

Chains are going to move here after a, what was it, a second, 26?

The shooter's got some nice runs keeping this Blue Jays team in the ball game here.

And the clock starts rolling again here three and a half minutes to go.

And it's the Blue Jays knocking on the door here at the logger's 34 yard line.

First and 10 here from the 34 yard line.

Here's Cachuda from the shotgun.

They're liking this formation.

Looking to pass and getting up and making the stack better.

Wade better.

Wade got up high and didn't allow Cachuda to pass that one.

Jumped high

and

then caught him on the way down and gets the sack.

And now we're down to three minutes to go here, third quarter.

And it's going to be a second and 15 about for the Blue Jays.

So the Blue Jays here pass heavy.

in this ball game and the loggers get a little bit of pressure in that backfield getting the sack on that one

and

in the huddle right now clock ticking Buje's coming up to the line of scrimmage and he got three receivers split wide right on this one no one in the backfield to shoot a

And it's gonna be a quick pass on that right side and Westfall makes a nice play picks up more than five And he's gonna make it a respectable third down probably about a third and ten Coming up here from the 35 yard line third and ten coming up For the blue jays Starting to get just a little bit cooler Most people here were smart they were pants a lot of them did yeah grown-ups anyway, I mean the students

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

It's going to be fourth and ten coming up here.

And good spot for the Blue Jays to go for it.

And it's 33 to go here.

Clock stops with that in completion.

Kashuta looking for the play.

Down by 30 here right now.

It's 48 to 18.

Largers have been efficient scoring the ball here since that second quarter.

And

up to the line of scrimmage here now is the Blue Jays and Cachuda from the shotgun.

They're going to go shotgun this whole way here and the passing game working for them.

Cachuda checks the defense here, drops back to pass and a nice pass up ahead and it was behind the receiver and going to be incomplete.

Turnover on down.

Yeah, turnover on downs on that one.

So first intent coming up here for the loggers.

Minute and a half to go in the third quarter.

And the loggers can get a score here.

Get a running clock, Nate.

So change of possession here.

It's going to be first and 10 here for the loggers from the 35 yard line.

Joel Karnick

129 to go here in the

third quarter.

Slowly, but surely it's clicking down.

It's clicking.

The loggers here, they're going to step up to the line of scrimmage here.

And it's Drexler from the shotgun with Vetter.

And that one, it was dropped a little bit of chaos.

I think they got it to Calhoun up the middle.

He goes for a yard or two.

It's a little bit of a fumble on the snap on that one.

And Calhoun makes something out of nothing, picking up a couple yards.

McCoy-Dalasky, number 52 out there for the loggers.

Do a nice job looking like the late, great Mike Webster.

Number 52.

McCoy, strong kid.

He's on the ground over there.

He's got a leg cramp, it looks like.

All right, logger, step up to the line of scrimmage here again.

Jax, we're from the shotgun.

He's going to hand it off to himself.

He keeps it

up to the right side.

He goes, and oh, one guy grabbed the shoelace.

Kenny almost thought he had a long touchdown.

He's

mad.

Got that bad ankle.

Yeah, that bad ankle.

Kenny, you've had that one down a long ways, and a shoestring tackle, saving, touchdown saving tackle there.

From, uh, was it Sam Casciuta?

He was Sam Casciuta.

It was their quarterback.

Quarterback making the tackle on the quarterback.

So Kenny, you don't want that one back.

26 seconds to go and kick in here.

And going to be Wade Vetter on this right side and Wade up the middle.

He shows in about 15 yards.

He goes, he's tackled at the 20.

Another big run there from Wade.

Every one of them from Wade is a nice run.

So that's going to probably end the third quarter, 13 seconds to go.

Loggers will run this one out here.

It's 48 to 18.

Loggers here with a 30 point lead.

Five seconds to go.

That's going to end this third quarter.

What we're going to do, we're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a two minute timeout.

We'll be back in two

minutes.

That's the end of the third quarter.

Rodgers lead 48.

Fourth quarter set to go underway here right now.

Right now the loggers leading 48 to 18 over the Three Lakes Blue Jays and both teams gathering up here, catching a break here, catching their breath a little bit and the loggers got the

Buje's on their heels again here right now on a nice drive here and the loggers can score one more touchdown.

They're gonna get the running clock for this fourth quarter and Buje's doing everything they can to stop that though.

Been a nice game here so far Nate.

Yeah.

And both teams giving everything they got.

We said before this Buje's team they only got 12 on the roster so you're starting to see the effects of you know the just getting tired getting more down a little bit by this loggers.

offense starting to see some big plays happening really from both teams you're seeing big plays on the last what four touchdowns there's been a lot of nice nice plays both sides but it's going to be loggers with the ball here trying to drive looks like they're at about the 22 yard line person 10 coming up here for the loggers and the blue jays running back onto the

field

Thank you

very much.

12 minutes to go here.

Fourth quarter underway here.

Both teams back onto the field.

We forgot our sweatshirts.

We did bring a blanket.

We found a blanket in the car though, so that's going to save us a little bit here.

Here we go.

Here's Kenny Drexler from the shotgun for the loggers.

He's going to keep it.

No, it's going to be a counter and Calhoun up this left side.

Chase, Calhoun, one guy to beat.

Steps from high steps into the end zone.

Touchdown, Nate.

One play in this fourth quarter.

54-18.

Loggers leading right now and that's going to be a runny clock from here on out two-point conversion coming up here for the loggers and trace Calhoun getting his first touchdown of the season and No touchdowns in that first game against Gilman Good rebound.

Yeah, good rebound game is right here.

Loggers kind of

Being able to see what they're all about here, getting a little bit of confidence in this game here.

Here's Drexler.

No Drex snap to Vetter.

Vetter has it and they catch him.

I think he gets into the end zone.

He does wait.

Vetter, the two point conversion is good.

And

58 to 18 is 56 to 18 is the score here right now.

And we're going to send it back to 98 Q country and on the Civic Media app.

One more time here for a one minute timeout.

Jeff Aiken and along with Nathan Padawals here in Phillips.

No, not in Phillips.

We're in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

Little slipkits over the top of every one from Kenny Drexler.

It goes out of bounds.

It's going to be a flag.

And Three Lakes has a couple options of what they want to do.

And we'll see if they take a wrap or what they do here.

But we have a running clock

here right now.

11 and a half minutes to go.

Take as much time as you want.

And it's going to be three lakes ball here at the 35 yard line.

First and 10 coming up here.

And seeing a second group out here of the loggers.

A lot of new guys out there.

Right now, filling in.

And some more of the freshman, sophomore, some of the younger guys.

Angel Lynn, they see out there.

See some more numbers coming up here.

Got Trayvon playing cornerback on this left side.

Here we go.

Here he is.

The Blue Jays, Kishuda from the shotgun.

Leave sure.

In motion on this right side.

And Kishuda, he's going to pick it up and keep it himself and picks up a good five yards.

And runs out of bounds.

Clock's going to keep running here.

10-40 to go.

Well, we got a flag.

Flag on the play.

And we'll see what they call here probably a holding.

It is holding.

It's going to bring the Blue Jays

back.

No, first

down.

First down here.

First down is going to be first and 20.

Coming up.

And pushes the Blue Jays way back.

Way back.

We're going to make a tough play here for the Blue Jays.

And Wade Vetter coming out here.

And a new player coming in.

It was Junior Kennedy.

Coming in here for the loggers, and here's the Blue Jays from the shotgun.

Kasuda looking for somewhere to pass.

A little pressure from the loggers.

Kasuda gonna pick it up himself and he's gonna have some running room.

The field he goes and picks up about 15 yards, gets it back to the 40.

It's gonna bring up a second down or third down in five.

Blue Jays can have a little bit of fun here right now.

A lot of the younger guys for the loggers in.

The ball game here right now, even if it drops before below 35 points, it keeps the running clock here.

Nine and a half minutes to go here in this ball game.

Loggers leaving 56 to 18.

And next Thursday, the Loggers take on Hurley at home.

OK, Hurley at home next Thursday.

We cover in that game.

Another conference match up here.

And then Shawarma in the following Friday.

And up to the line of scrimmage, the Blue Jays go.

Nine minutes to go here.

from the shotgun and a pass on this left side and caught and wrapped up immediately on that one.

Who made the catch right there?

That was Crookson.

Peter Crookson, a sophomore.

And it's going to be third down and five coming up for the Blue Jays.

Out of the huddle.

The Blue Jays coming out with their play.

Up to the line of scrimmage and the shotgun again.

That pass heavy here tonight to shoot a. Surveys the defense.

Got a couple receivers to his right.

Got one in the backfield.

He's going to drop back and pass.

Quick pass.

Leaveshirt can't hold onto that one.

Out of bounds or it falls out of bounds.

And a nice

tackle there.

Caden Morgan.

And

it's going to be coming up.

Fourth down, Nate.

Fourth and four.

Fourth and four coming up.

Eight minutes to go here in the fourth quarter.

They've got a first down on the chain group.

That's what threw me off.

Yeah.

But it's fourth.

Both a fourth and five from the 40 yard line.

Blue jays, they got to get to the 30.

Right, I'm sorry, they got to get to the 45 yard line.

They're at the 41.

From a shotgun.

Cachuda.

Here he is.

The hard count, it works.

And he's going to move the loggers forward.

I'm OK with that one too.

Takes a lot of time off the clock.

7-25 to go.

And they get the first down.

Nice play there from the Blue Jays.

7-15 to go here.

Second squad in for the loggers.

And the Blue Jays come out of the huddle and up to the line of scrimmage they go.

Seven minutes to go.

Kasuda, the first in 10 here from the 45

and

leaves her in motion.

The field he goes, they're looking for him and no one there.

and Koshuda gonna pick it up and run it himself and he's got that left sideline and one guy to beat and a nice tackle there was made by Matthew Novak Novak makes a game saving tower a touchdown

saving tackle six and a

half minutes to go and a nice run there from the quarterback Koshuda he's got some nice nice yardage here in this game

And it's going to be first and ten for them.

Six fifteen to go here.

And first and ten from about the eighteen yard line.

Kishuda calling the play.

In the huddle.

And they break the huddle up to the line of scrimmage.

There you go.

You got a couple of receivers to the right.

A couple of the left.

Kishuda all alone in the backfield.

There's Leepshire in motion right side.

And look for him in the flats and making the catch.

And splits a couple receivers or a couple defenders and gets it all the way up to the five yard line.

Nice run there from Owen Leescher.

Five and a half minutes to go and the Blue Jays knocking on the door.

And up to the line of scrimmage.

The defense gets themselves ready.

The young defense out there right now.

And

the Blue Jays.

Coming up, it's been a heavy pass.

I haven't seen very many runs other than quarterback keepers

since

that first drive.

Man, looks like going to get a timeout, maybe.

508 to go.

It is.

The Blue Jays going to call a timeout here with 508 to go.

It's 56 to 18.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute

timeout.

And welcome back everybody.

Jeff Haken and Nathan Bonnell here in Three Lakes.

Wisconsin, 508 to go here in this ballgame here, and it is the Silverblogger leading 56 to 18.

Three lakes knocking on the door here.

They're at the five yard line looking to score here.

And Kishida finds the receiver over on that left side.

I think Leaveser caught it.

Are they going to say he did?

They did, I think, at the one yard line.

So it's going to be a second and one, maybe a second inches for the Blue Jays looking to get in.

4-50 to go here in this ballgame.

But shoot, now he's going to fall forward, I believe, with this one.

He gets that quick pass, left side, Leibscher into the end zone.

Touchdown.

Oh, and Leibscher, his second touchdown of the ballgame.

56.

The

24 is the score.

And the Blue Jays, they're probably going to go for a two-point conversion coming up.

Let's throw me one of those blankets today.

I feel like it's blanket weather.

It isn't your part of your job here to remind me to bring my sweatshirt.

Today it wasn't.

Four and a half minutes to go.

Or at least we're pants.

I forget it's fall.

You know, it's funny, but all of a sudden, like a week ago, it just felt like fall.

We've got summer and back to fall.

From the shotgun.

He's gonna shoot us.

He's gonna look right side, finds the lead, makes the catch, but the old most tackle he got away from

I believe that was Matthew Novak.

He did.

He sure gets it to go.

So with 438 to go in this ball game, it's 56-26.

We're going to send it back to 98-Q country and on the Civic Media app for one minute.

Time out.

Welcome back, everybody.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Pottawell here in 3Links, Wisconsin.

I keep wanting to say we're in 3Links.

You really want to say that, don't you?

We're not.

We're an hour and a half away, hour and 45 minutes away, probably, and with 438.

to go here three lakes coming off that touchdown drive.

The logger is leading 56-26 and it is there about to receive this kick off here and a little squib kick up the middle and the loggers fall on it at their own 30 yard line.

Four and a half minutes to go here it's going to be loggers football and see what they can do with the second string offense coming out.

So clock ticking here.

Got a running clock.

Lager's going to pull away with a win on this one.

It seemed like a tight match up here in that first quarter, and Lager's kind of slowly methodically pulled away.

It was way better.

It was way better.

He wore that Blue Jays offense down, or defense down, and it was no stopping him.

Way better at a huge game here tonight.

Four minutes to go here in this game.

Here's Caden Borgen.

And he's going to hold, pick it up, keep it himself.

A lot of defenders in the backfield.

Caden gets it back to the line of scrimmage.

And Caden got his hands full with this offense here against the Three Lakes defense.

Three Lakes doesn't have their second squad over here.

This is their whole squad.

Three and a half minutes to go here.

And

Caden Borgin coming back in here with the play call.

From head coach Steve pre-core.

He's done a fabulous job here tonight.

Play calling for the Phillips loggers.

Gonna pick up another win.

A big one, a conference win.

And here's Borgen.

He's gonna keep it and go right side.

Turns it back.

He's following his backs up the field.

They go in on nice run.

Kate and Borgen.

He got

the first

off.

He did.

If he got in, he got real darn close.

And I think he's gonna be a half yard short, but a nice run there from Kate and Borgen pushing the line ahead.

Three minutes to go inches.

We're we're gonna get through this game here Nate And Morgan the sophomore quarterback You know next year he's gonna be the starter back there Nate.

He's got a nice arm on him.

You know fun to watch Kaden in the shotgun by himself

And he's gonna hand this one up on the counter and is that Dylan Sidenbender?

He's wrapped up immediately.

Off of a couple.

On that one, gonna bring up a fourth down.

Fourth down in about two from the 38 yard line.

They got to get back to the 40, Nate.

2-11 to go here.

Lockers leading 56-26.

They're gonna pull away with the win here.

And gotta get through this one healthy though.

Kate and Borgand.

Leading the team here onto the field up to the line of scrimmage.

Morgan in the backfield by himself.

He's got Novak to the left, Dylan Seidenbender to the right.

Novak in motion.

They're going to give it to him.

He fumbles it and back on the ground.

He falls on top of it.

And about a seven-yard loss there.

It's going to bring up a...

Change of

downs.

Was that fourth down?

That was fourth down.

So change of down.

A minute and a half to go here.

And the Blue Jays, they're going to try to get into the end zone one more time with a minute and a half to go.

Timeout three

lakes.

Oh, and they call it timeout.

We're going to have to go.

5626, timeout three lakes.

We're going to send it back to 98Q Country and on the Civic Media app for a one minute timeout.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Padawebs here.

Just over a minute to go in this ball game here, the Blue Jays with the ball of Phillips Loggers leading 56-26.

And a minute to go in this fourth quarter.

And quarterback for the Blue Jays, Kasuda keeps this one up the right side, trying to get to the end zone.

He steps out of bounds at about the 10.

And 55 seconds to go.

Gonna

be down for the blue days

And did they call another time out when the clock stopped It may have called another time out, I believe they did they do have a time of 48 seconds to go guess what we're gonna do We're gonna send it back to 98 Q country and on the civic media.

Let's just do 30 seconds this time.

Welcome back everybody.

Jeff Hakin and Nathan Pondelup here.

Last 48 seconds of this ballgame here.

Three lakes trying to punch it in.

One last time the Phillips vloggers leading 56-26.

And three lakes steps up to the line of scrimmage.

Kasuda from the shotgun.

And here it is Kasuda.

Looking to get something going here and he's sacked and tackled a nice stack there.

From

the

loggers angel in sophomore you got in there and tackled them hard I did and gonna knock them back 30 seconds to go here and try to keep three lakes out of the end zone Three lakes they want to get in one more time Here they are cashew da from the shotgun looking to pass and Running left side got one two guys to beat and there's a flag if they got tackled gonna come back here

and if

they caught a

Hold that's gonna be the game and they're gonna let that one run out there the clock will end on a can't end on a flag So what do they have to run another play?

We'll see how it goes.

Maybe they just call it That's the end of the ballgame here, but there's a penalty so we're gonna see what they do And I would think we would just decline it yes, and say that that's the end of the ballgame You'll see if that is the actual call.

I think it is

And that's going to be the ballgame right there.

It's declined.

And the final score here tonight, 56 to 26.

The Phillips loggers, they defeat the Three Lakes Blue Jays.

We're going to stay right here, Nate.

We're going to do the forward bank post game show right from here.

Talk about this game a little bit.

And you know, early on it was a first quarter of kind of back and forth.

It was penalties from Three Lakes.

It was a turnover from the loggers.

And it was a back-and-forth game, you know, for the first little bit.

And then the Loggers started to pull away way better.

They couldn't stop him on that run to the right side.

And he scored about four touchdowns in that second

quarter.

He started to pull away.

Couldn't stop Wade.

Eventually they just couldn't stop the Loggers offense.

And the Loggers slowly methodically kind of just pulled away in this one.

Final score here tonight, 56.

26, Wade Vetter, he's getting the Jeff Haken and Ruffine player of the game.

Hands down, that was a pretty easy call.

Here

tonight, five touchdowns, maybe another passing.

We met at

six

touchdowns that he was responsible.

for here tonight but a nice job overall by both teams really impressed the three lakes team hey 12 guys on the field and you know what they gave it everything they got here tonight did a fabulous job head coach Steve pre-core great job calling plays as always and having this program here just ready to roll here but we're going to be back next Thursday
