Milwaukee, WI (October 11, 2025) – Civic Media News/Talk outlet WAUK 540 AM and 100.3 FM  has enlarged its signal in Milwaukee County, making it easier than ever to hear quality local news and programming across the metro area.

The station recently added FM translator W262CJ at 100.3, which launched on October 6th and now covers the city of Milwaukee. This expansion significantly improves audio quality and accessibility for listeners throughout Milwaukee County.

WAUK has also debuted a new morning program designed specifically for Milwaukee commuters. “All News All Morning” is hosted by veteran broadcaster Dan Hanni and features a format that syncs with the average commute time in Milwaukee. Every 20 minutes, listeners will hear local news, traffic, sports, and weather, ensuring they stay informed no matter when they tune in during their drive.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of your morning routine and drive into work,” said Dan Hanni. “We’ll start the day with CBS News, and then locally with our news director Stuart J. Wattles. Lesley Lotto covers Wisconsin with state news from the Civic Media State News Desk. Mike Clemens covers sports and we’ll have traffic updates with Bonnie Green, and weather from our staff meteorologist. We’ll also have conversations with the local news-makers in the Milwaukee area.”

WAUK Regional President and General Manager Chris Moreau said, “this is a no-frills approach to delivering what people look for in the morning. News and information that they can use to start the day without wading through padding, filler, fluff and partisan opinion. And they can hear it all within the average commute time in Milwaukee”

“All News All Morning” airs weekday mornings on WAUK 540 AM and 100.3 FM, providing Milwaukee area listeners with comprehensive local coverage to start their day.
