The Racine Raiders fell short in the PFA Championship game, losing 16–43, but overall had a strong season in their first year in a new league. The Raiders finished the regular season with an impressive 8–3 record — a tough feat in unfamiliar territory.
In the opening round of the PFA Playoffs, the Raiders made a statement by shutting out the Michigan Bills, 21–0.
Next, they traveled to Michigan to face the Motor City Rams — a team that had beaten them just two weeks earlier. This time, the Raiders got their revenge with a hard-fought 21–14 win.
While their championship run ended earlier than hoped, fans can look forward to hearing Raiders games on WRJN again next season.
