On Wednesday, June 25th the matchup between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Milwaukee Brewers with a sold out American Family Field crowd, Jacob Misiorowski, a young pitching phenom going up against one of the best pitching prospects ever and last year’s rookie of the year winner Paul Skenes.

Jacob Misiorowski shined, going 5 innings, giving up only 2 hits, and 8 strikeouts and not allowing a run. As the Brewers defeated Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-2 in Milwaukee. Paul Skenes went 4 innings, giving up 4 hits and and 4 earned runs.

It’s safe to say Jacob Misiorowski out-dueled Paul Skenes in round 1 of their matchup, as they are for sure to meet again in the future.
