It’s Not Too Early!

As we bid farewell to another summer, I’m reminded of how much I don’t like winter. I know what you’re thinking: “Jay, it’s not even fall yet, and you’re complaining about winter already?” Yes, yes I am. Because as enjoyable as fall can be, it’s a stark reminder of what’s coming next. Long after the beautiful fall foliage is gone (and I’ve raked my yard 15 times) we will be left with the colorless, lifeless, barren landscape that is winter.

With that in mind, I say it’s not too early to plan your winter vacation! My daughter decided she doesn’t like flying anymore. Since I don’t plan on spending 4 of my 7 vacation days piloting the family truckster to Florida, it looks like this year’s winter vacation is adults only.

Darn!
