NBA champion Kyle Kuzma, now a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, is publicly taking exception with Left Wing politics as it continues to resonate with the public.

Kuzma took to X on June 2 to make a statement critical of the U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, who announced he would be introducing a bill in Congress that would result in 50% public ownership of all AI companies.

“Oh great I love the idea that after a decade of founders, engineers, and investors lighting billions on fire to build AI, the plan is: ‘thanks, we’ll be taking 50% of that now.’ Peak startup risk, Soviet exit. 👍🏽🤣,” Kuzma wrote.

Kuzma is one of the more outspoken NBA players. He has millions of followers on social media and is in a high-profile relationship.

The former first-round pick won a ring with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 during the pandemic. After four years with the Washington Wizards, he was traded to the Bucks in a deal that included all-time Milwaukee great Khris Middleton.

As concerns of artificial intelligence mount, we have seen the issue infiltrate the race for governor in Wisconsin. There is a candidate in the race backed by the Democratic Socialists of America, State Rep. Francesa Hong. And Sanders has strong support in the Dairy State, including defeating Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primary.

Kuzma has been weighing in on politics recently, from promoting prediction markets, to highlighting Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt and retweeting Elon Musk.

The 30-year-old is entering the final year of his $90 million contract. With a new coach in place and perhaps the franchise cornerstone out the door already, who knows where Kuzma plays next season?
