Gilbert Brown Brings Mental Health Awareness Tour to Milwaukee Schools May 22
Green Bay Packers legend Gilbert Brown is bringing a powerful message directly to Milwaukee students May 22nd as a part of Mental Health Awareness Month, one rooted in strength, kindness, and community.
Brown will visit several Milwaukee schools throughout the day to speak with students about anti-bullying, overcoming adversity, building confidence, and the importance of mental health. His message encourages young people to support one another and create stronger communities through kindness and open conversation.
The May 22 school appearance schedule includes stops at John Marshall High School, Pulaski High School, Milwaukee School of Languages, Milwaukee Tech High School, and Milwaukee Parkside K-8.
Brown’s outreach comes at a time when mental health conversations continue to grow in importance both inside and outside the classroom. By connecting directly with students, he hopes to inspire positivity, resilience, and leadership in the next generation.
The initiative’s message “Strong Minds. Kind Hearts. Stronger Community.” reflects the goal of bringing people together while encouraging students to speak openly about mental health and support those around them.
As Mental Health Awareness Month continues, Brown’s visit serves as a reminder that impactful conversations and positive role models can make a lasting difference in the lives of young people across Milwaukee.
