Richland Board of Education to meet, agenda items include

The Richland School District Board of Education will meet Wednesday, at 7:00 PM in the Richland Center High School IMC.

Among the agenda items:

Gifts of cash donations from Jones Chevrolet, The Mission RC Incorporated, Cornerstone Auto Service, and two anonymous donors.

Personnel items include hiring of the following positions: an Alternative Education/GED Teacher, an off-campus Alternative Education/GED Teacher, a Cross Categorical Teacher, three four-year-old Kindergarten Teachers, and a Physical Education Teacher – all of these positions would be for the 2026-2027 school year, and also an elementary school Summer School Teacher and a high school Summer School Teacher.  The Board will also be asked to approve the resignation of an English Teacher.

When WRCO News attended the last meeting of the school board, there were no members of the public present, we asked Board President Erin Unbehaun if that was typical, his response was, “Yes, its been that way for about the last two years.”
