RACINE — Racine Area Veterans Inc. is inviting veterans and community members to participate in the city’s annual Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25.
According to an announcement from Racine Area Veterans Inc., the parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will travel from West Racine to Graceland Cemetery, where a Memorial Day ceremony is set for 11 a.m.
The parade route will start at Washington Avenue and West Boulevard. From there, participants will proceed along West Boulevard to Osborne Boulevard, then follow Osborne Boulevard to Graceland Cemetery, the announcement states.
Organizers said the parade is open to veterans and other participants. People who want to register to take part are asked to contact Racine Area Veterans Inc. in advance.
