The City of Richland Center has an open seat on its city council. The open seat represents District One, which includes Wards 1, 2, and 3. This seat was previously held by Mayor Karin Tepley – the seat was vacated when Tepley was elected to the position of Mayor.

The city council will appoint a new alderperson to serve for the remainder of this term, which ends in April of 2027. Qualifications are, you are a qualified elector who lives in Richland Center, in Wards 1, 2, or 3.

The deadline to inform the city clerk of your interest in this position is Friday, May 1st, at Noon.

Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
