Richland Hospital and Clinics to host Health Fair Open House
The Richland Hospital and Clinics is bringing the experts to you. For two hours on Tuesday, April 28, from Noon to 2:00, the Richland Hospital & Clinics will host a Health Fair Open House in the lower level of The Richland Hospital. This no-pressure access to health care professionals is completely free, open to the public, and no appointment is required.
Jessica Board, CMA, part of the organization’s Patient Experience committee said, “We hear from people all the time who want to better manage their overall well-being. This is one way we can help everyone do that, whether they’re a patient of ours or not.”
Lyle Kratochwill, Director of Rural Health Clinics said, “The goal is to offer a welcoming, low-pressure opportunity for individuals to meet medical and hospital experts face-to-face and leave with practical information they can use in daily life.”
The TRHC Health Fair will include diabetes education, fitness and wellness, pain management and chronic care, mental health for older adults, online medical tracking with the health portal, along with free services. You are invited to step on the Tanita scale for a complete body composition analysis to get a read on muscle mass, body fat, and other key health metrics beyond weight alone. Have your blood pressure checked by the Community Pharmacy staff and let members from Occupational Therapy test your grip strength.
You are also encouraged to talk to members of Senior Life Solutions of Richland Center, Advanced Care Planning volunteers, and the Chronic Care Management group who helps coordinate care for people dealing with multiple health issues.
Take care of your health by stopping by, asking questions, and see what resources are available at the Richland Hospital and Clinics Health Fair and Open House on Tuesday, April 28, from Noon to 2:00.
