Local schools earn “Schools of Recognition honors” from DPI
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction announced Tuesday (April 21) 95 schools statewide have earned Schools of Recognition honors. The awards celebrate exceptional efforts of educators, students, families, and school staff in ensuring educational success for all students, especially among those facing economic challenges. Launched in 2003, the Schools of Recognition Program recognizes Title I schools for making significant strides in student growth and achievement.
Area schools that were honored include Riverdale Junior High, Boscobel Elementary, Winskill Elementary in Lancaster, Bluff View Middle School in the Prairie du Chien District, Seneca Junior High and Wauzeka Elementary. Riverdale District Administrator Jeff Campbell commented on this during Wednesday’s Morning Show on WRCO
More information on Schools of Recognition can be found on the DPI’s website.
