K-9 Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run in Vernon County happens today

The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit will host the 14th Annual 5-K-9 Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run will at the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua, today.
The 1⁄4 mile Kids Fun Run for kids 11 and under will begin at 9:00a. Medals, trophies, & ribbons will be awarded. Immediately following the Kids Fun Run, the 5K Run/Walk will begin. All events begin and end at the Sheriff’s Office. There are men’s and women’s age groups for all ages. Medals will be awarded for men and women in each age category.
Anyone interested in participating in the event can find a registration form on the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit Program Facebook page.
Registration today will be from 7:30A to 8:45A.
All proceeds will benefit the Vernon County K9 Unit- K9 Kota and K9 Dax- for annual maintenance, training, & equipment costs.
