Depending upon the weather, the prime contractor, H. James & Sons, Inc. is planning to switch US Highway 14 traffic to stage 2 configuration on Wednesday, April 21.  Stage 2 traffic will have bi-directional traffic (one lane in each direction) using the existing US Highway 14 east bound lanes throughout the entire project length.  Crews are currently removing several concrete median sections throughout the project limits to allow for stage 2 and 3 traffic configurations.

Once traffic is in stage 2 configuration, H. James & Sons, Inc. will begin breaking and removing the existing US Highway 14 west bound concrete pavement from County Highway O to Bowman Drive. Pavement repairs will also begin from State Highway 80 to Bowman Drive on US Highway 14 west bound. Stage 2 traffic is scheduled to remain in place until approx. mid-July.
