Southern Wisconsin experienced another round of severe storms Tuesday. As the  storms passed through the area, during the late afternoon and early evening hours, several Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Warnings were issued. All counties, in the area, received some type of warning. A confirmed tornado touch down in the Fennimore/Lancaster area prompted a Tornado Warning for Grant County.

Tornado Warnings were also issued for Sauk and Iowa Counties. There were also reports of damage in the Westby area caused by high winds and hail and reports of quarter sized hail in the Mazomanie area. The National Weather Service website reports that the threat for severe weather lingers for this afternoon (Wednesday) and possibly Friday evening.

Uncertainty remains with tomorrow`s activity as ongoing showers and storms tomorrow morning may limit how strong storms across our area can get. Details on severe weather for Friday will be refined in the coming days.
