ArchWell Health™ Expands National Footprint into Wisconsin; Multi-Center Launch Providing Value-Based Care for Milwaukee Seniors 60+
(Milwaukee, WI) –ArchWell Health™, a national leader in primary care for individuals aged 60+, announced on April 7th it is entering the Wisconsin market to expand healthcare access for thousands of seniors across the Greater Milwaukee area.
Meeting market demand driven by rising healthcare costs and patient-centric care for an aging U.S. population, ArchWell Health continues its mission to improve the lives of older adults by offering superior quality and personalized care for adults 60 years and older.
“ArchWell Health is challenging the traditional, transactional healthcare model by bringing our value-based, high-touch primary care to Milwaukee—prioritizing patient outcomes over volume for the city’s rapidly growing senior population,” stated Kate Lichtenberg, D.O., M.P.H., FAAFP and Market Medical Director at ArchWell Health. “We are proud to open four new centers located in the Greater Milwaukee areas of River Bend, Harambee, Mitchell West, and Capital Heights.”
ArchWell Health’s new Milwaukee centers offer highly personalized primary care services with physicians and team members focused on helping members improve their health, reduce the effects of chronic diseases, and live healthier lives. The company’s patient-to-doctor ratio is below the national average with doctors dedicating more time to every individual member, addressing their unique health challenges and questions.
Dr. Lichtenberg continued, “The Greater Milwaukee area is home to approximately 187,000 residents aged 60 and older, an age group that consistently accounts for about 16% to 20% of the total county population. Our dedication is to adults 60 and older with a focus on delivering superior primary care services to improve patient outcomes, lower healthcare costs, and reduce the incidence of hospital stays, ER visits, and certain surgeries. Our new Milwaukee centers allow us to realize and uphold our commitment to those we serve.”
ArchWell Health centers are carefully designed, combining elements that elicit a bright, inviting, and positive environment that not only promotes comfort and well-being, but also fosters trust and enhances the overall patient experience for those 60+. This includes spacious reception areas, waiting areas offering snacks and beverages, up to 16 exam rooms (depending on the center’s square footage), diagnostic and treatment labs, and conference rooms for educational event offerings.
In celebration of each center opening, ArchWell Health hosts new patient, community focused Grand Opening events. Older adults, their families and caregivers, local organizations, and other community members are invited to gain information and education on ArchWell Health physicians, professional staff, comprehensive healthcare services, and extra-curricular offerings. Organized as a casual, interactive, and social way to meet the entire ArchWell Health team and other residents and community members, each event features live entertainment, culinary bites and treats, center tours, giveaways, and more.
ArchWell Health Greater Milwaukee Grand Openings will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with the first being held in River Bend.
