Cast members from the Community Players production of “Snow White” will be at the Brewer Public Library for Story Hour on April 11, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.

Stacy Pilla, the Library Director at the Library, says that the goals of this Story Hour will be to promote literacy and briefly introduce young people to the dramatic arts and learn a little about theater behind-the-scenes.

Mina Marx, who plays the role of Snow White, will be at the Brewer Library along with other cast members all in costume. The Story Hour will begin with Mina reading from the Snow White storybook to the children. She will stop before the end so as not to spoil the show for any of the kids that want to come to the show!

The cast will then talk about their characters and what it’s like to be in a show. Perhaps there will be some brief back-and-forths between the characters. There will be time for arts and crafts where the kids can make something fun related to Snow White. Finally, every child will receive a free ticket to the show.

The Community Players’ show will be an adaptation of the classic fairy tale by Tim Kelly. While not a musical, there will be some songs sung by cast members.

Tickets will be sold at the door and are only $10 for adults and $5 for those under 18, along with a family package for $25. Shows will be Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m., Sunday April 19 at 2:00 p.m.; Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m., Sunday April 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the Richland Center City Auditorium, located at 182 N. Central Ave, Richland Center.
