Fatal Accident in Fond du Lac County

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)-Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials tell us a 30-year-old Waukesha woman was killed in a single vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of County Highway W and County Highway BB shortly before midnight last night.

A passing motorist called 911 to report the accident in the Town of Ashford.

According to the preliminary investigation the woman was driving a pickup truck north on County Highway BB when it failed to negotiate a curve. The truck left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, struck a culvert, and overturned onto County Highway W.

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene.

Deputies responded to the scene, along with Campbellsport Fire Department, Campbellsport Ambulance, Campbellsport First Responders, the State Patrol, and Fond du Lac Ambulance.
