Richland Center residents are advised that the municipal Transfer Station will permanently close on March 31, 2026.

The last day the facility will be open and operating is Monday, March 30.
Beginning in April, Republic Services will provide expanded bulk item curbside pickup from April through September, with the first dates scheduled for April 13 and 15.

Residents may set out up to five items per pickup, with each item under 50 pounds and manageable by one person. Items must be placed at the curb by 7:00 AM on scheduled pickup days.

Yard waste drop-off will remain available at the current site. Additional pickups may be arranged directly with Republic Services at the resident’s cost. Alternative disposal options are available at the Town & Country Sanitation location in Boscobel.
