On February 23, 2026, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the Richland Center Police Department, Richland Center Fire Department, and Richland EMS were dispatched to the intersection of South Sheldon Street and East Gage Street in the City of Richland Center for a two-vehicle crash with airbag deployment in both vehicles.

Upon arrival, officers with the Richland Center Police Department observed that Richland Center Utilities crews working in the area had already placed traffic cones around the intersection and were checking on the welfare of the two drivers and one passenger involved in the crash.

The Richland Center Police Department investigated the crash and determined that Isaah Foges was driving a Toyota Scion southbound on South Sheldon Street approaching East Gage Street. Randy Gander was driving a Ram pickup truck westbound on East Gage Street approaching South Sheldon Street. The intersection is uncontrolled, and both drivers reported looking for oncoming traffic but not seeing the other vehicle prior to the collision.

The front bumper and grille of Foges’ vehicle struck the passenger-side front and rear doors of Gander’s truck, causing disabling damage to both vehicles.

Isaah Foges, his female passenger, and Randy Gander were evaluated at the scene by EMS personnel. Foges was transported to the Richland Hospital Emergency Department for further evaluation.

The Richland Center Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Richland EMS, Richland Center Fire Department, and Wegner’s Towing. Both vehicles were removed from the scene, and the intersection was reopened to normal traffic at approximately 11:45 a.m.
