Domestic disturbance call leads to 2 arrests in Highland

Thursday night around 9:10 the Iowa County Communications Center received an open 911 call transferred from Grant County reporting a domestic disturbance at a residence near Isabell Street and High Street in the Township of Highland.

Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies, assisted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Department and the Avoca Police Department, responded.

As a result, Seth J Venden, age 43, was arrested for Felony Bail Jumping, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, and Disorderly Conduct. Also, Lisa A. Britt, age 59, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer. Venden and Britt were transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charges.
