Richland Hospital and Clinics (TRHC) CEO, Bruce Roesler, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Healthcare’s 103 Critical Access Hospital Presidents and CEOs to Know 2025” list.

The list recognizes outstanding leaders who are advancing healthcare delivery in rural and underserved communities across the nation. Critical access hospitals play a vital role in ensuring 24/7 emergency care and essential health services remain close to home for rural populations. Leaders recognized on this prestigious list are known for their dedication to clinical excellence, patient safety, workforce stability, and financial sustainability, qualities that define Roesler’s leadership at The Richland Hospital and Clinics. 

Bruce Roesler has served as CEO of The Richland Hospital and Clinics since 2015. His leadership has focused on expanding service lines, recruiting and retaining physicians and clinical professionals, and fostering strategic collaborations that enhance care delivery while preserving the hospital’s role as a trusted community resource. 

Prior to joining TRHC, Roesler served as President and CEO of Mercy Medical Center, New Hampton, IA and as CEO of Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center, Minnesota. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and serves as a board member of the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative and the Wisconsin Hospital Association Foundation.

Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
