A fire tore through the classic Pizza Hut on Washington Avenue near Ohio in Racine last night, sending flames shooting from the roof early in the evening. The sit-down, old-school location had just brought back its buffet, but that offering is likely gone for the foreseeable future.

Officials say no one was injured in the blaze, but investigators estimate the fire caused around $150,000 in damages.

We’re working on learning more about the extent of the damage and the cause.
