The deadline to turn in nomination forms to have your name appear on the spring election ballot has passed.

There will be a race for Richland County Board Supervisor in District 14 between Michael Windle and Darlene Waldsmith-Tagliapietra. Current supervisor Chad Cosgrove filed a non-candidacy. There will also be more new faces on the county board. Shirley Welte is running for the District 8 seat. Incumbent Gary Manning filed a non-candidacy. Four districts remain without a representative coming forward to be added to the Spring ballot, they are Districts 7, 10, 19, and 20. District 21 will also have an open seat on the ballot as incumbent Daniel McGuire’s nomination filing was not approved.

The remainder of the districts will see their incumbents on the ballot. They are: Steve Carrow in District 1, Mary Miller in District 2, Randy Schoonover in District 3, Sandra Kramer in District 4, Richard McKee in District 5, Larry Engel in District 6, Tiffany Thompson in District 9, Rod Perry in District 11, Dave Turk in District 13, Melvin “Bob” Frank in District 15, Kerry Severson in District 16, Steve Williamson in District 17, and Marc Couey in District 18.

There will be a mayoral race in Richland Center. Elijah Kramer and Alderperson, Karin Tepley are both running to be mayor. The remaining seats up for election in the City of Richland Center will each have one candidate on the ballot.
