NEENAH, Wis. (WISS) – The City of Neenah is taking steps to develop its first three-year strategic plan. And to that end, it is asking for people who live or work in Neenah to provide input.

The city hired Innovative Public Advisors (IPA), a Wisconsin-based consulting firm, to help collect input. In addition to surveying stakeholders in Neenah, IPA will also hold workshops, meetings, and interviews, as well as administer more surveys.

Neenah Mayor Jane Lang said in a press release that the goal is to collect diverse viewpoints, both internal and external, to shape a strategy that reflects Neenah’s priorities.

“Neenah is a vibrant and growing community, and this strategic plan will ensure we continue to thrive well into the future,” said Lang. “We want this plan to reflect the voices of our residents, which is why it is so important to take the survey and join us at the public input sessions. Together, we will create an actionable vision that guides Neenah for years to come.”

Residents are encouraged to complete a brief online survey before Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10 pm. The survey will gather feedback on city services, priorities and goals for the future.

Two in-person sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Neenah Police Department Training Center at 2111 Marathon Avenue at 10-11:30 a.m. and from 6-7:30 p.m.
