Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is making a meaningful impact across Wisconsin through his Hands of 10ve Foundation. The foundation’s mission is meant to provide essential athletic gear to kids with the hope of inspiring them to get involved in sports. Love recently hosted a surprise shopping spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods for eight children from the ‘Better Days Mentoring’ organization in Green Bay. Along with a few of his teammates, Love surprised the kids, and each received $300 to shop for gear with the players.

But Love is taking it even further. He is offering items like winter coats to those who may not be able to afford them. Love tells Mike Clemens, Civic Media’s sports reporter, he is excited about the upcoming initiatives, including a campaign focused on supplying cleats for kids involved in sports.

“I’ve definitely had a couple of pretty cool opportunities to host events, and I’m excited to continue helping through my own foundation,” Love says. “With the cleat campaign, it’s about giving kids the chance to have the proper equipment, especially those who may not be able to pay for it. I hope it helps them on and off the field.”

Love also hosted his first youth football camp in Milwaukee last summer. FlexWork Sports Management supported the efforts, and more than 600 kids attended. Love says organizing a camp has been a long-time goal with his own experience part of the inspiration behind it. He attended camps hosted by two NFL quarterbacks in his hometown of Bakersfield, California.

Love’s foundation is now working hard on a key fundraising event. It will be the first time for the QB to lead the annual Packers softball game on Friday, May 23, 2025. Love anticipates it will be a big day for everyone involved.

“Giving back is a personal and rewarding experience. It’s one that allows me to share my blessings and inspire future generations,” Love explains. “It’s a very cool opportunity to help out, and I feel fortunate to be able to give back in this way.”
