Platteville outlasts Hornets in conference football match-up
RICHLAND CENTER, WIS (WRCO / WRCE) – Platteville ran past Richland Center 47-22 in Southwest Wisconsin Conference football on Friday night. The Hillman broke open a close game to improve to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the league. Richland Center dropped to 2-3 and 1-2. The story of the game was Platteville Senior running back Tyler Sasse who was a part of 5 touchdowns and kicked 4 extra points.
Platteville led 7-0 after the first on an 8 yard run by Sasse. The Hornets drove to the Platteville 11 yard line before turning it over on downs and on the next possession drove to the Hillmen 6 yard line before failing to convert on 4th down.
