Drones, Music and Candlelight to Light Up Milwaukee’s Veterans Park Sept. 20
MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) – A mix of music, technology and candlelight will transform Veterans Park later this month.
On Sept. 20, a live string quartet will perform works by classical composers including Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky while more than 500 illuminated drones create patterns across the night sky. Thousands of candles will add to the atmosphere, surrounding the crowd in a soft glow.
The event, called “DroneArt Show Milwaukee,” is designed to blend the feeling of a traditional candlelight concert with cutting-edge aerial displays. The show is expected to last about 65 minutes.
Organizers are encouraging people to arrive early because parking near the lakefront park is limited. The event space is ADA accessible.
