Memorial service set for fallen Milwaukee police officer
MILWAUKEE, Wis (CIVIC MEDIA) – Funeral arrangements have been announced for Milwaukee police officer Kendall Corder, who died in the line of duty.
Visitation will take place Friday, July 11 at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield. The funeral service will follow. Officer Corder will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park, with an MPD Honor Guard standing watch until his burial.
Officer Corder was shot while responding to a scene near Milwaukee’s 25th Street and Garfield Avenue on June 26. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. His partner was treated for non-fatal injuries and released. The 22-year-old male suspect was arrested.
