Music in the Parks kicks off tonight

The free, family-friendly series will feature thirteen Wednesday evenings of live outdoor music throughout June, July, and August

VIROQUA, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – The Music in the Parks, presented by the Friends of Vernon County Parks and Forests, concert series kicks off Wednesday, June 4, with Spunky Bumpkins performing at Sidie Hollow County Park.

The free, family-friendly series will feature thirteen Wednesday evenings of live outdoor music throughout June, July, and August, rotating between Sidie Hollow and Esofea-Rentz Memorial County Parks. Concerts run from 6:00p to 8:30p each Wednesday night. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the music.

Adam Hess

Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
