Juneau tornado significantly damages Dodge County; shelter-in-place in Mayville

JUNEAU, Wis (CIVIC MEDIA) – A tornado touched down in Dodge County Thursday evening, causing significant damage to structures, homes and buildings, including a Juneau nursing home and Dodge County airport.

As of late Thursday evening, Mayville has issued a shelter-in-place order.

In Mayville, several trees and power lines are down, and a few buildings in the industrial park on the southwest side of town have been impacted by the tornado.

It’s been reported the Dodge County airport and a Juneau nursing home have sustained damage. The scope of the destruction is unknown at this time.
