MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – The student still hospitalized after being shot at Abundant Life Christian School in December is again fighting for their lives.

Six people were shot on December 16. Three students and one staff member were treated and released within the first week or so.

Two students were rushed to the hospital in critical condition at the time. In January, they were upgraded to “good” condition, and one of them was released.

That left one student still at American Family Children’s Hospital. Staff from UW Health confirmed to WMDX News Tuesday that the student is back in critical condition.

The family continued to request privacy.
