RACINE, Wis. (WRJN) – There’s about one week left until the April 1 election, with in-person absentee voting continuing through Sunday in Racine.

The election features key contests, including Aldermanic races, school and public safety referendums, the state Supreme Court race, the selection of Wisconsin’s top educational official, and a decision on a constitutional amendment regarding voter ID requirements.

In Racine, early voting is available at City Hall and several community centers. City Hall offers voting weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Other locations include Tyler-Domer Community Center and John Bryant Center, with varying hours throughout the week.

Kenosha residents can vote at City Hall through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesday, March 26, until 7 p.m.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday, March 27, though officials caution against relying on mail delivery this late.
