RICHLAND CENTER, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – Please read the following UPDATE.
The controlled burn scheduled for tonight (Monday) in the City of Richland Center has been cancelled due to high fire danger. It has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6:00 as long as weather permits. Residents in the area may see smoke and flames during this time. Please do not be alarmed, as trained personnel will be monitoring the burn to ensure safety.
Original Story: The City of Richland Center, in conjunction with the Richland Center Fire Department, will be conducting a controlled burn in multiple sections of the Pine River bottoms within the City limits this Monday, March 17, beginning around 6:00 PM. Residents in the area may see smoke and flames during this time.
Please do not be alarmed, as trained personnel will be monitoring the burn to ensure safety.
