“Her legacy is one of dedication, advocacy, and a profound commitment to the people of Racine,” Mason said in a statement.

According to an obituary, homegoing services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
